5121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is utility token trading actually dead? on: September 13, 2019, 04:10:38 PM
I have also come across many projects that have a very large user database, but the price has really not been encouraging and one of which you mentioned, ripple. With all the large user base that they have, there price has still not increased, and it shows that people are not demanding for it and I am asking what those users are really doing there, and if they are just redundant, of which I think most of their users are just more of holders of the coin and not using it as it should be used.

Binance bnb is also meant to be a utility token, but I see that only developers are using it also in their trading platform, but they are still lucky to have a platform that they can impose on people. I think the reason why utility tokens are not surviving is just because many people are here for the money, the one they will get through investment.
5122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to know your opinion :) on: September 13, 2019, 01:19:10 PM
I saw the topic of this project and here is their site https://whitebit.com, has someone already used it? can I trade there, I see what you think?
So long that it has to do with exchanges, it is quite a delicate matter that should be treated with care because of the security and safety of our money. Usually, I don’t deal with some of these upcoming exchanges, and any upcoming exchange has to really do more than this if they are to catch my attention.

I know that they have to start somewhere and without our supports, they would be nothing, but then, I have to consider my own money too and the safety of my money, so pardon me if I ask you never to use the exchange because it is a little unknown exchange and there are other great and popular exchanges that I can really vouch for and that would be exchanges that are 10, one of them is binance, kucoin and other you can search of their review on this forum.
5123  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict Bit coin price. on: September 12, 2019, 05:37:03 PM
The best method people use right now is charts, it doesn't show the unpredictable parts of the story but at least you can know what it suppose to do during the calmed down times. Like for example sometimes bitcoin goes up 10%+ and down 10%+ that means you can't possibly know those times, if you knew those times you would have become super rich and wouldn't be even here on the forum looking for answers.

However for the rest of the small ups and downs you could potential learn to read charts and if you are good at it than you could possibly maybe get to make couple percent profits, not a lot but a bit which would combined make a lot of money, 50 times of making 1% would mean 50% profit in one year, that is quite possible in bitcoin or crypto in general.
5124  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought a bitcoin today for 9K and sold when it hit 10K should I Of left it? on: September 12, 2019, 04:13:32 PM
if you are a trader then sell when prices already look high enough, don't wait for higher prices, because at this time the market conditions are fragile, it's easy to collapse. it's better to sell when there is still a chance, that the mindset of the trader. but if you intend to invest long-term, be patient and hold for as long as you can.
A trader must really learn to work along with the mentality off knowing that they are in a volatile market, bad thing about volatile market is that you could see a trade that is very impressive now, and before you could think of asking questions, the trade would have been again you.

When it comes to trading, we just have to have in mind that we are dealing with both big and small profit, and we should see the big profit as luck, but focus more on small profit, it is small profit that some people that I know do take that built them an empire, and all these holding on for a bigger profit is not really getting anyone anywhere.
It is easier to predict smaller prices than to predict bigger prices for long term. If op had sold when he acted, he would have bought at that $9000 again several times and also sell several times.
5125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Friends & Family adoption - Share your experience. on: September 12, 2019, 03:35:53 PM
I have evangelized really for bitcoin in the little time I think and I would say that most of the people I have invited into it has really benefited a lot from the adoption, both as currency and as an asset, the time invited them was actually a great tome, and that was shortly before value started skyrocketing that 2017, and it was just like a magic for them.

Some of them pulled out before the price could reach the peak as they have never seen such increase before, though at one point, I made some mistakes, I got carried away and invite someone I had been skeptical about inviting at the late end of the surge, and that was my mother in-law, she picked interest and I bought bitcoin for her when the value was almost $20k, and we are stuck with her investment now.
5126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Digital Currency can Activate Someone's Financial Freedom? on: September 12, 2019, 08:21:02 AM
I don't see financial freedom with those things. Yes, trading, buy and hold, and mining can help you to earn but that doesn't mean your financially free. That you don't have to worry about your expenses and daily living, because in crypto, it's a lot of risk. You may gain but you're also at risk of losing.
Well it's still possible if you were born with a golden spoon.
It becomes a financial freedom tool for those that know how to unlock its secret, for me, crypto has even gone beyond just trading or buying and holding, I mean it has helped me beyond that, what cryptocurrency has done for me, is what I have been struggling with for year.

I am an importer of goods and I buy from some of these sites, there is a particular site where I wishes so much that I could be importing from because of the quality product that they have and their very cheap product, but the main barrier for me all these years has been issue of payment because western union and other means of making payment to them from my country does not cover that area,. But since the establishment of cryptocurrency, I have been able to easily communicate with the seller in terms of payment and this has increased my financial base a lot.
5127  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: September 11, 2019, 05:09:51 PM
It is great to see that there is a community manager (or maybe some other title I don't know but he is around for these kinds of stuff) for mintdice. I didn't had any problems before so I never had to deal with neither support nor had to come here and write my problems.

However, in the end someone would eventually have one (people have trouble with biggest companies like amazon, of course there could be some bugs) and I am super glad to see when someone writes here there is people from mintdice who is willing to answer, it has been a long time waiting for me but I finally got the results of how engaged with community you guys are. Mintdice literally has a great future in this crypto gambling world, it had everything and now it has more than everything for it.
5128  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: September 11, 2019, 04:16:10 PM
Most of the time when a casino includes slots in their website they are making like a million versions. I don't really understand the change of the theme that much, if it is slots then it is slots, why have so many options.

However, some of them are different in their feature as well, I am not a big slots guy and I think I played only like 10-20 times in my entire life so don't get my word for it however I have seen some slots with different gameplay from each other, like some would have another extra slots in it, like you play and when something comes you play another game and that makes you win, like free rolls. Anyway I hope this doesn't become complicated like that, I just want to deposit, click, lose/win and withdraw/leave. If there are like a million different themes than it will become like so many millions of other casinos.
5129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Turkey on: September 11, 2019, 08:23:05 AM
You cannot go to any shop and just tell them that you want to pay with bitcoin if the owner has not agreed to implement bitcoin payment system into his business, so automatically, your request is the one that becomes invalid for any shop you approach, but for some of the shops that has started accepting cryptocurrency of bitcoin as payment, I think it is valid because they will still eventually change it back to fiat.

Most merchants and people that are aware of bitcoin would have actually implemented the system already, but I guess that are still quiet scared of the government, which is why they have kind of refused to implement the usage until the air is cleared about it legally, but with time we spend more, people will continue to accept bitcoin at their own level pending when regulation comes.
5130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shower thought. Bitcoin ETF bad? on: September 11, 2019, 08:01:22 AM
Shouldn't the communty discourage the creation of anything that gives up the custody of Bitcoin to third parties?

Although it might be good for its price, would it be good for Bitcoin as a censorship-resistant hard money?
With ETF, we are just indirectly giving chance to centralization of cryptocurrency which we should really discourage because there won’t be any difference from all the system that we have on ground already if we still use cryptocurrency in a centralized way. The reason why we have been so all over bitcoin is because it gave us freedom and one sense of ownership to our money and to our transaction, so why on earth would we give that out to ETF.

Sometimes when I see how we encourage and push for ETF, I really wonder if some of us really understand what cryptocurrency is about and what decentralization stands for. Well, one thing that we know is that even if ETF is being approved, it would still not stop bitcoin from being a decentralized coin which is what people want the most.
5131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you know about Bitcoin before becoming a bitcoiner? on: September 11, 2019, 06:49:52 AM
Lol, when I got introduced to bitcoin, that time coincided with when I just got being scammed heavily by these so call Ponzi scheme call just being paid, I invested heavily in it with the hope that they would pay me the percentage they used in luring me then, and when my friend I reduced bitcoin to me, he came from the angle of investment and doubling of money in future, and never explained the real system of bitcoin to me, which I tool shabbily and dusted it off my hear, until the hype actually began.

The hype actually began before the 2017, it was then I knew something was special about the bitcoin, which I took my time to read about it, and then understood the reason why it was created and what the future holds for it, at that point was when I decided to  be a bitcoiner.
5132  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: September 10, 2019, 04:14:48 PM
This website makes money by giving people free money....
%4.08/year daily compounding ....
you can not categorize this annual profit on investments (that you receive every day) as the "free money" they give people because it is not free, it is the profit they give your investment in their business, which they mine bitcoin with part of it.

Quote
And once you start depositing money, you are starting to ask yourself "Why don't I deposit all? That's literally free money." (That's where shit gets dangerous for you Grin) That's probably true too (at least It has been for the last few years), as long as you stay away from that multiply game.  Wink
that is only true for gambling addicts not the normal people who use their brains Cheesy
i have had an investment in this site for a long time now and i haven't been playing the multiply game or losing anything for that time!

If all the people who deposited coins on this website had brains like you, you wouldn't be getting those sweet interest profits don't you agree?

Freebitco.in basically collects money from greedy dumb people and give it to less greedy smarter people.
Yeah like freerolls where it tells you that if you deposit like 1 bitcoin they will give you another 1 bitcoin but you have to wager 40 bitcoins in total to claim that 1 bitcoin which is not really horrible and you may end up with some profits (this is gambling after all, the average means you will lose but that is the average) however they aim to make sure you lose all your money as well, just giving you some money to keep you there.

Bonus here is much more realistic, it already has a high house edge as we all know so it doesn't really matter for them for the rollover so it is definitely more plausible than many other casinos. I never claimed it to be honest with you, don't know how much I have to deposit or play to be able to claim it but I have ton of affiliates so I rarely ever deposit.
5133  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: September 10, 2019, 03:22:23 PM

Today i received an email from noreply@stake.com with this object "Cent21, your VIP boost is live for three days!".

I just want to be sure that this is not a phishing attempt as the link appear to be a little strange... it point to api.mixpanel ecc.ecc.

Someone from stake could confirm this is official?
Stake does email people time to time ( I remember getting about 70 doge or so once) but that doesn't mean you should trust the email blindly. You can always check the link with your own typing as well, so go to stake.com, also go to the link, claim whatever bonus it says like free 5 bucks or whatever, than check your other real stake.com that you went to, it should be updated, if that is updated than you can trust it, if not than it was a fake one and do not deposit any money.

For example, faucet was good for that, I would use the faucet to see if that is the case of not. 2FA is also great too in this regard, you would claim faucet and see if its claimed on both sides to see if that is legit or not, however stake decided to remove faucet for some reason like they don't have enough money to pay for it.
5134  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: September 10, 2019, 02:04:15 PM
I don't think there is a cap on how big you can get in casino world when its crypto we are talking about. You do not focus on getting gamblers from other casinos only, you focus on getting people who are not gambling but in crypto right now as well and also trying to get gamblers who are not in crypto too. There is BILLIONS in the online gambling world right now and getting just a tad bit of it would make any casino super rich and huge. Even stake is tiny compared to many of the other known non-crypto casinos and stake is considered to be the biggest casino in crypto world.

So, signature campaign could be one way but that is not enough, you have to do marketing all around the world to every type of player and that happens with affiliate, you can't reach out to everywhere but you can have your people all around the world.
5135  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for the best Online Casino? on: September 10, 2019, 01:32:50 PM
Looking for the best Online Casino or Sportsbook which accepts Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies?

We have reviewed the top trusted Bitcoin Gambling Sites and listed the best

Website: playwithbitcoin.net

Why isn't crypto-games.net listed? It's one of the oldest and most well-reputed Bitcoin casinos around...

In fact, it seems like a huge number of rather popular platforms are missing, and yet you've covered obscure platforms like DasistCasino....

What's the rationale behind this?
I am sure there is definitely no motive to the list. The op posted sites he has had experiences with and you are not in a position to tell which site should be included on the list and which one is not. If you feel so concerned about the list , then I advise you draft out yours and then make a post on it or you can also drop it on the comment section as there are a lot of readers that would see it.

I have some very nice sites I have had great time with and also very legit that I would have expected to see on the list, I didn’t see it but not feeling sad about it because I understand that he wrote based on his experience and the list is 80% accurately correct.
5136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: you can be the richest man in the world if you travel to 2013 time machin on: September 09, 2019, 04:03:54 PM
I was already involved in bit in 2013. It was quite different from now, Bitcoin was stil at the begininig and the community was rather small.
I had few coins then but didn't keep them long enough, like until 2017, to get really big profit and I sold them sooner.
But no one could predict then how strong Bitcoin will grow so there is no use in regret. You can't live in the past.
You are not alone as majority of cryptocurrency holder then sold their coins before then, I believe that majority of people that benefitted more from that last All time high were even people that bought their coin a year before then, probably around $1000, I doubt if we had anyone in the past that bought from 2009 to 2011 still have their coin enter the market till that 2017.

Majority of those people already sold everything, except maybe the story of one or few people that we heard that forgot they ever had cryptocurrency and then when the hype was quite high then, they started running to check where they had kept their coins and keys which they saw and found out how much their coin had turned to, but I am sure if they had remember their bitcoin before the hype, they would have sold it already. I didn’t buy bitcoin that 2013, but I still bought around 2015 and made my money in 2017.
5137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig S. Wright ALIAS Faketoshi News: 'The Tulip Trust' is proven to be fake on: September 09, 2019, 02:59:25 PM
From this little write up now, are you trying to justify Craig's action or what? Even if the tulip trust is proven to be fake, and you are trying to support Craig wright for David Kleiman, I still do not trust any thing that came from Craig, it might have been that both planned all these all along to claim that they are the originator of bitcoin, but something must have gone wrong along the line that made way for all these challenges that we are seeing now.

The tulip trust may be fake also, that is why I don’t trust any of the parties, I do not trust Craig neither do I trust Kleiman, they are both scam and big in that nature, Craig on the other hand is just doing everything possible to evade the amount that has been sanctioned on him to pay for the issue that is between both of them.
5138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suspected Bitcoin mining scam on: September 07, 2019, 06:09:26 PM
^We are naïve because we like people to do things for us a lot, the time that we spent in looking for people that will get our things done, we would have committed the time into learning how to do it ourselves. The man or company that he is relying on for the mining proceeds is not going to even have more than one head, and he might not even be as smart as him, but that is how we see things.

Well, it is a pity that he has already been scammed by mr Morgan and that money is gone forever, all we can hope of is for Mr Morgan to be caught one day so that others that would have been a victim of him like op would have been saved, and op by now should start looking for other alternative means of making money through cryptocurrency market or trading.
5139  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEC delays decision on ETF again on: September 05, 2019, 04:24:04 PM
--snip
I told people that we are the ones that will still use our bare hands to destroy the perfect system that satoshi has created for us to be free from these governments, most especially the poor people and then break that gene of the rich keeps getting richer and poor keeps getting poorer, but we still using our hand to personally invite government by crying loud for .

if government even approve bitcoin today, we may still not get that mass adoption, because every decision to use cryptocurrency lies on the heart of the user, and you cannot force them to do or undo what they want. I prefer that e continue to grow slowly the way we have bee growing than to be waiting for one sec to approve ETF.
5140  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: September 05, 2019, 03:48:13 PM

The total Bet coverted to bnbchain are juat too few compare to the total supply though. Its a decentralize market eceryone can set the price for the tokens they have. I miss the 0.005 spike, I probably have sold mine  to buy back at 0.003 again. I can still wait for it to happen again. A token that is listed to one exchange looks very easy to manipulate, team should be considering another.
That seems to be the biggest issue here, right now investing into bet token seems super profitable, we are talking about a product that once brought in 20+ dollars per week and now its going for couple hundred dollars if you get 10k bet token and that is basically nothing.

However, right now the dividends went as low as 2 dollars which means the hype for the website is going down and we were all afraid that if people were capable of buying bet tokens the amount of wagers will go down because there would be a lot of people who would rather get the bet token from an exchange then gamble for it. Which is why I highly believe that the amount of dividends will keep going like this for a while, it all depends on the team like you said and if team focuses on marketing a bit more than we will get some more dividends, if not then it will turn out to be a bad investment.
