5121  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2016, 08:23:59 AM
A good way to get some coins is joining IRC channels that rain altcoins, then sell them for BTC. Usually it is a little faster than faucets. You can also just hold/stake the coins you get.

I agree with you about holding the coins as a working method to make some earning, but about the altcoins are you meaning trading ? if it's the case, i think it's a little bit risked unless you have good experience about it

For trading you need to have a good experience. If you are new to trading field you can easily lose your coins.
You have to make right decision at the right time to get Profit out of trading and it requires experience.
5122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: March 20, 2016, 04:15:21 PM
I understand that Bitcoins obviously can't be traded without the internet, but, is this true only as long as the internet stays down? If the central internet technology went down for an hour, for example, would our bitcoins still be in the blockchain when the internet was back up, or would they be lost forever?

Well the thing is for bitcoin to go down, all nodes all over the world should go offline. So all data centres all over the world should run out of resources.
The chance this will happen is very small, but yes it can happen.

Well come on . This is highly unlikely to happen. Internet cannot go down in this Digital Era. Not only bitcoins, but a lot of other networks and everything depends on the Internet. It can go down for some area for small amount of time, but you cant say that internet is gone forever and so is bitcoins.
5123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantage of bitcoin debit card? on: March 20, 2016, 04:10:02 PM
well...i have not bitcoin debit card yet,but i am thinking to buy a debit card from good website.its advantage for me is that

i can withdraw my bitcoin in fiat currency when i need anytime.
i can withdraw my btc in any atm service.
i can get withdraw in best rate anytime.

Buying a debit card is a very good option. but not countries are accepting or offering the bitcoin debit card.
We shall have to wait a little more before bitcoins debit cards are widely available for everyone.
5124  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: March 20, 2016, 04:06:56 PM

The Reasons for customer preference  Bitcoins is that it has very low setup charges and almost minimal transactions fee.
Also their identity is not reveled and it is easily available online.
These are the few things that will attract the customers the most.

5128  Economy / Lending / Re: [EDU] The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK! on: March 06, 2016, 10:33:21 AM
Hi Long time Not here busy busy

I have one point im alwasy confused about collateral loans especially with alt coins is the fact if u wanted borrow 1Btc and had enough alt coins to cover colatteral then wouldnt you just sell the coins on an exchange?

Just curious
If you were to sell the altcoins then you will miss out on any potential price appreciation that would happen between when you take out the loan and when you repay the loan. You would also incur trading fees/costs both when you sell the altcoin and when you buy it back (and if your position is large enough you would incur some slippage in both directions).

Some people also like to borrow btc in order to buy even more altcoins (eg they are using leverage)

Yes agree with you. they buy more ALT coins with bitcoins and then trade them for profit.
this is how they tend to ge tmaximun profit. So they require more and more BTC
5129  Economy / Lending / Re: Need Loan 0.006btc , Repay 0.007btc on: March 06, 2016, 10:28:03 AM
Loan Need : 0.006btc
Repayment : 0.007btc
Reason : Fund for gambling
Date for Reyament : Today or the next week
Source For Repayment : Payment from work or win from gambling
Collateral :  Unfortunately i don't has anything to collateral to offer

Newbies will not get loans without valid collateral.  Please see here for what qualifies: No Collateral, No Loan

I would recommend locking this thread, going over the link above, and coming back when you have valid collateral

If NEwbie need a loan, what he should do ?
i mean not many people giving loan to newbie and there can be reasons that newbie requires real loan.

5131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the maximum amount you keep at a single exchange on: March 06, 2016, 10:19:18 AM
I would not trust any exchange to babysit my coins overnight but that's just me.

You should keep coins in exchanges, the amount you want to invest, and keep the savings
in your wallet.

5132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: March 06, 2016, 10:17:27 AM
To be on the safe side, people uses many wallets and reason for this is that they
want to be safe that if one wallet is lost, they have another one. and all their coins are not lost at once.

5134  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: March 05, 2016, 03:05:34 PM
people should stop posting "this is a scam" posts in the gambling section. IT'S THE GAMBLING SECTION FOR A PURPOSE, JEEZ! I'm sure everybody in there knows the risks, and sometimes you need to be early on a ponzi to even get a payment. The investor-based section is gambling, and if you lose, then you lose, and if you win, you win. It's common sense, and people know that.
This is a Yobit thread. and yobit is  great .
Thats all i wanted to say.

5136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantage of bitcoin debit card? on: March 05, 2016, 02:40:17 PM
Is a bitcoin debit card just like a wallet? Is it easy to send a payment online just like I normally do with any other wallet?
Bitcoin debit card is nothing but same as your ATM card or bank issued debit or credit card. The funding source alone different. To a bitcoin debit card, you can top up it with your bitcoins.

Lol first know about and talk dude. It will reduce exchange charge, forex charge and no need to find the traders, escrow or anything.  Card is this much useful one. Try for it first. I have advcash card.

Can you tell which wallet offers debit card ?
I haven't heard anyone offering bitcoin debit card.
5137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First OpenBazaar transaction went through on: March 05, 2016, 02:32:11 PM

Whats action can we take to stop this?
Stop using coin base or some other thing?
5139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: March 05, 2016, 04:06:19 AM
As my observation why people stop using bitcoin because they're thinking bitcoin is scam. Honestly i experienced to scammed in any investment site and cloudmining site all my money stuck in investment and never withdrawn it.. So that i am planning to stop collecting bitcoin. And i search many times how can i recover my bitcoin but the answer is there's no way to recover all my bitcoins in investment site.. so i stop using bitcoin in few weeks but i thinking may there's another way to earn bitcoin so i found this signature campaign is better in faucet.. so now i am still using bitcoin right now and i learn a lots of things about coin here in our forum..

Bitcoin is not a scam. its a currency.
It cannot be a scam
