5121  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-24]Key Bitcoin Price Indicator Suggests $21,000 ‘Fair Value’ By End Of on: July 07, 2019, 09:38:58 PM
Let's wait if this analysis come true, I think positive that bitcoin is giving sign good indicator to reach 21,000$ or more than that price, but not over to 30,000$. 40,000$ are possible to hit 1 to 3 years from  now.
Honestly a price mark of $21,000 at the end of the year is quite reasonable and feasible judging by the bullish sentiment of the market, in February the price of bitcoin was $3300+ and after gaining its volatility and momentum the price presently is at $11400+ if the performance is measured within that time frame while the bullish trend is sustained obviously reaching that price as predicted by Trace Mayer will come to pass.
Trace Mayer used Technical Analysis to predict how the price is going to move based on moving average which is a very reliable indicator on a higher time frame and speculating $30,000 to $40,000 in span of years is obviously realistic.
5122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 - Discussion Thread on: July 07, 2019, 09:10:06 PM
The Nigerian camo should not get too excited about having to play South Africa rather than Egypt. They should keep their feet firmly on the ground. The Madagascar upset is still fresh in the memory, and underrating SA would be a very costly mistake.

Organizers of the AFCON tournament would not be too happy about losing the host. But it is the drama and uncertainty that makes the game beautiful.
Nigeria losing to a lowly rated Madagascar cannot be a yardstick for saying that they may not be able to beat SA, Nigeria defeated them in the qualifying stage I believed Nigeria overconfidence and underrating Madagascar was responsible their loss, obviously they upped their game against Cameroon and convincingly won that game as the tournament proceed I believed they will improve more it would have been very difficult if they are to play Egypt as the host country.
A minnow beninoise defeating morocco is a major upset the bookmaker wouldn't have given them a chance but the God of soccer is on their side thus proving some soccer pundit wrong.

5124  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: July 05, 2019, 06:24:55 AM
This shouldn't be cause to worry about buying bitcoin with such a meager amount then ie 5 years ago looks very risky to some people why some took the risk took the bull by the horn in spite of all odds those period bitcoin has not been very popular and no one could possibly speculate or predict its future outlook however investors then now are reaping the benefits of taking such an action. life itself is full of risk.
5125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: cryptocurrence progressing in poor African countries full of wars? on: July 05, 2019, 06:02:50 AM
how are poor African countries with wars benefit in cryptocurrecy system or blockchain tecnology ?
In the war zones infrastructures must have suffered severe damage thus the chances of having access to a stable electricity and internet will be very slim invariably ruling out the possibility of using cryptocurrencies.
Obviously cryptos is a perfect replacement of the banking system in those war torn zones in African countries but it will take a lot of efforts to divert the attention of the people to using such services having been subjected to psychological trauma as a result of the war.
5126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 gives birth to too many shitcoins on: July 04, 2019, 04:55:04 PM
Personally I felt its very alarming the rate at which shitcoins capitalized on the flexibilty ethereum smart contract ERC20 and anonymous transactions of cryptos  to create many of these coins is very outrageous thus gives room for scams to thrive on, I wish there should be regulations on these coins else investors fund will continually go down the drain due to failure and delisting of the worthless ones in an exchange.
5127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix is gonna film documentary about crypto on: July 04, 2019, 04:34:38 PM
First of all, I think it will be a great educational video that can explain much for newbies and secondly, this movie can push bitcoin's and altcoin's price reach the sky (don't perceive it literally). What do u think?

the source: https://thebitplex.com/?p=198
Netflix with a wide global coverage and good content showcasing documentary speaks volume on cryptos and possible shading more light on its benefits.
This is indeed a welcome development at least this gonna erase some negative perspectives about cryptos in some quarters while a lot viewers will learn more and get first hand information regarding it which might invariably encourage new investors into the cryptosphere.
5128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why blame people for your failure? on: July 03, 2019, 06:17:13 AM
I come across different posts and allegations that bounty hunters are dumpers and they make projects lose it value upon exchange listing. But from my experience with bounties most projects don't offer bounty allocation of more than 5% of the total token sold. So how will 5% dump have a huge effect on the remaining 95% price. And what about projects that don't have bounties but still dump hard on the exchange, is it bounty hunters too?
The bitter truth is that most projects dump because of the ridiculous number of bonuses the team have offered during the tokensale and pre-sale period. Imagine giving investors 70% bonus for their investments, they can decide to sell everything off and be happy with the 70% profit.

Honestly its very unfair to blame the bounty hunters for dump in the price of a coin actually you made a valid cause of the whole saga which had for long been often attributed to massive dumping of the particular coin to hunters whose total allocation is small compared to the bonuses offered whereas the outrageous bonuses dole out to investors who are only after the profits not minding the future and road map of that coin is the major cause of the failure and dumping of that particular coin.
5129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people bought Bitcoin because of you? on: July 03, 2019, 06:03:22 AM
Personally I was able to convinced two of my housemates into buying bitcoin one of them bought at a price of $3600+ and sold off of at $12000 making some massive profits although his buying of the btc is based on hodling and makes profit vis-a-vis trading and not biased towards the technology aspect of btc in fact he was very happy to be involved in btc for the first time while promising to introduce more people to cryptocurrencies.
5130  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will the Bitcoin price be in 2020? on: July 02, 2019, 07:30:33 PM

Article:

https://www.cryptofish.com/blog/what-will-the-bitcoin-price-be-in-2020/

What do you guys think? Will we get to $100 000 in 2020 - yes/no? Why?
I think more than 20000 dollars because it had a huge opportunity to develop from this situation also so I think it had you had opportunity to reach $20,000 very soon in 2020 this is my expectation.
I agreed with you on this based on the fact the price must break this ATH of $20000 first before heading to another higher high price mark but the price has not broken the resistance at that zone I wonder why some people are speculating $100,000 in 2020 this is absolutely outrageous and not realistic even based on the previous history of the price.
5131  Economy / Economics / Re: Looking at Bitcoin's price increase via YEARLY LOWS on: July 02, 2019, 06:56:37 PM
Considering that yearly lows of bitcoin for the past 10 years, bitcoin investment might be good for long term. Whatever happens, leaving your bitcoin for few years, you'll still end up with profit. You can have a yearly buy and sell to earn bigger returns of investment.
Indeed bitcoin is a long term investment based on its price action forming a higher low yearly is a good indication and pointer to its bullish movement overall and consistency in the bullish sentiment for many years ahead and a wise investor will surely profit from investing on bitcoin whenever the price dumps recalled in the beginning of the year its price was $3500+ compared to its present value shows a profitable investment.
5132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I am so frustrated with bitcoin on: July 02, 2019, 06:15:02 PM
It has become clearly evident that bitcoin will dominate the world as the global number 1 cryptocurrency, that's is OK with me.
BUT...
what I am finding really frustrating is all the retail, and institutional money that will only ever flow into bitcoin and will never, ever touch any altcoins.
Sure bitcoin is the master, the supreme, the original crypto, but for gods sake, its now the only cryptocurrency.
Surely out of the 2000+ altcoins, some of these will be almost as powerful as bitcoin.

The altcoins have been smashed of late, purely by the greed of bitcoin, sucking up the global fiat money.

Every altcoin has been sold off and money shoveled into bitcoin.  WHEN IS THE PAIN GOING TO STOP!

I have lost so much money on my altcoin HST decision token, purely based on the greed of bitcoin.

Please as an altcoin investor, please stop hurting us, this is so damn cruel.

That's why we must be careful of our investment in altcoins because not all altcoin are strong in the market and it gonna crash easily if investors will dump their alt and invest in bitcoin but if the alts are strong and have a little demand in the market , that's pretty sure of increasing its value .
That is exactly the problem and difficulty in choosing the right altcoin for investment out the numerous alt present in the market obviously few of these coins do show and experience pumping once in a while but buying such type of alt out the numerous available is an herculean task rather its better to invest in bitcoin being the most traded with the highest volume and the most popular cryptocurrency.
5133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bounty conditions in the future on: July 01, 2019, 07:54:00 PM
Getting a hansome reward for particitating in a bounty nowadays has been things of the past partly because of diversification of investors to another cryptocurrency venture, many project failed in fact some reputable exchanges had delisted some of these coins due to their lack of value ie worthless invariably endangering the task of bounty hunting in the future.
My opinion for full time bounty hunters is to start learning other viable skills related to cryptocurrencies eg programming, graphic designs, trading, binary options etc these are reward-full skills that will serve as a better alternative to hunting.
5134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every time I sell Bitcoin pumps... Has BTC been good or bad for You??? on: July 01, 2019, 06:50:41 PM
Its not your fault its just the nature and price behavior of bitcoin of course the price is unpredictable most  btc hodlers uses it as a store of value and a long term investment rather than to using it as a currency thus you are just unlucky by selling it for fiat this you can't escape as a bitcoin hodler had it been you exercise a little patience invariably you could have earned much, presently the bitcoin is dumping while some hodlers will regret not selling at $12K+.
5135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: June 29, 2019, 01:16:25 PM
Using a higher timeframe satrting from 4 hours above is much better than Day trading which is much stressful filled with emotion.
personally using higher time I will be able to analyse and take decisions based on TA and Price Action and plan my trade without any urgency considering the fact that cryptocurrencies is very volatile when day-traded and could result into massive losses if traded without a stop loss.
5136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for the best Platform for Options Trading. on: June 29, 2019, 06:09:59 AM

5137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When will Bitcoin bump into bottom again? on: June 29, 2019, 04:48:12 AM
The OP is more consigned with bitcoin dumping again having missed the train to buy and hodl at $3800+ when the price was its lowest low earlier he needs technical analyst to prove a point here. personally since I joined cryptos world this is the second time the price of bitcoin pumped massively and its seem the price history is repeating itself again thus the lesson learned is that always buy, accumulates and Hodls for the rainy days ahead which currently playing out.
5138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance hits 60%, alts lagging behind on: June 29, 2019, 03:33:49 AM
This isn't a surprise to me as its a known fact that any newbie to cryptos world would only be interested in bitcoin even investors with huge funds will only invest on bitcoin leaving those altcoins behind thus they will surely lag behind because of lack of interest from investors just the OP highlighted their relevance in the market.
Gone are the days whenever bitcoin pumps a lot of the so called altcoin pumps too however the tide had changed now sending a signals to altcoin hodlers to divert their portfolio to bitcoin now while its dominance will continue to soar higher in the cryptoshpere.
5139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Africa needs bitcoin, not a charity on: June 26, 2019, 12:48:17 AM
how would it help alleviate financial problems in Africa when most of them really don't understand it. Don't get me wrong but many African countries are already labelling cryptocurrencies as scams so how on earth would it help them. You tell me.

Yes they labelled cryptocurrency as scam becasue they never understand the terms been use in cryptocurrency. Education is the problem of the Africans and when they overcome illiteracy then they can believe the world of cryptocurrency and move toward it adoption. Also, remember that in Africa, we have population that the world need and also, the world of cryptocurrency.
In addition to the fact that some Africans labelled bitcoin as a scam is that having experienced the fraud perpetuated by the moribund MMM ponzi scheme that resulted to many of them losing a lot of money to that fraudulent schemes hence some of them had become caution on any thing that is  online thus it requires a lot of efforts and public enlightenment to remove such a negative perceptions about bitcoin and bring some trust, however with time more Africans will see why bitcoin is a better alternative to the so called centralized system of banking.
5140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Would Really Buy Facebook Coin? on: June 24, 2019, 07:18:15 PM
I would prefers facebook follows the normal process most altcoin launchers followed ie launching of their ICOs possibly using the bounty section here thus Libra coin will attract many cryptos investors I believed this forum covers much on all crypto related stuffs and having millions of crypto enthusiasts who are well informed and enlightened on cryptocurrencies.
Facebooks having a larger proportion of users does not mean the users are crypto friendly I suggest they follow the footprint of other coins by tabling their road map thus attracting more investors.
