5121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV Beats ETH very hard Soon on: January 15, 2020, 05:13:11 PM
Bitcoin SV has slipped to the 5th place and BCH has once again overtaken it. As of now, BCH is trading at $333.57 and BSV at $321.56. During the last two weeks, BSV has risen by more than 300% and went up from 9th place in the coinmarketcap list to the 5th position. If we combine the market capitalization of BCH and BSV, it will become the 3rd largest cryptocurrency.
5122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright provided the list of addresses that contains 1.1 million btc on: January 15, 2020, 04:50:33 PM
Until he signs a message from those addresses,  that proves nothing.

A cryptographic proof is all the community demands, but he hasn't provided any.

Earlier Wright had admitted that he don't have access to these coins (because he do not possess the private keys). According to him, the private keys are split in to multiple parts and held by multiple people. Wright was supposed to receive them in a "bounded courier", at some point of time in January 2020.

However, Wright is now claiming that he has indeed received the private keys through courier (as per his statement on 14th January to Federal District Judge Beth Bloom of South Florida). He has time until February 3rd to prove the same. Expect some crazy movements in the market until that date.

I remember that question someone asked India is best so they can win this t20 world cup and it is the answer for that, best team not can give their best all the time.

Openers struggled a bit which can happen any time but the middle order should make up for that which is the reason for today's lost IMHO.When there is not enough runs on the board bowlers also will lose their confidence.

I have also noticed the same. India looks really strong on paper. But they have failed during a lot of pressure situations. On the other hand, teams such as Australia and England perform better than India under these conditions. Another issue is the lack of preparedness. During the last match, it looked as if some of the players (especially Bumrah and Shardul) faced difficulties in adjusting to the conditions.
5124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: January 15, 2020, 04:39:24 PM
We should not generalize the altcoins. There are close to 10,000 of them in existence (although the majority are either dead or dormant), and it is not right to classify all of them in to one category. If we do so, then we'll be grouping the good coins and the shitcoins together. For example, we can't say that coins such as Ixcoin and Freicoin are as good as Ethereum and Monero.
5125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 15, 2020, 04:31:57 PM
I do not think performing in the IPL will matter anymore. He has to make way for new talents and there are a lot in india. Indian team selectors have enough options available to replace dhoni. After IPL I think he will call it.

Personally I am against his inclusion in the squad. The selectors should give preference for the youngsters in the T20 team selection. But right now, social media campaigns are going on in favor of his inclusion. The decision lies with three people - Ravi Shastri, Virat Kohli and MSK Prasad. And as far as I know, all three are against including Dhoni in the squad.

Now PCB is going with this stance in future they already announces no going to play in any neutral place all teams must visit here as now situation is under control and security agencies done hard work for this all hopefully we will have some good and positive response from all countries for this and they will came here without any fear and enjoy cricket.

I don't understand the problem when the authorities are providing them the state of the art security. The chances of an attack against such a heavily guarded team is almost the same as an attack happening in Australia or New Zealand (even in New Zealand, recently we had a terrorist attack in which dozens of people were killed). Those who don't want tour can exclude themselves from the squad (similar to what some of the Sri Lankan players did).
5127  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Can Gain 100% In 2020 - Halving Not Priced In, Says Fundstrat on: January 15, 2020, 03:26:04 PM
A 100% return on investment seems like a conservative estimate to me considering Bitcoin has reached $20,000 in 2017 and $14,000 last year and started this year around $7500.

That means it would get to just $15,000.  I think more like $25,000.

While taking your "conservative estimate", you are accounting for 2017 and 2019, while ignoring 2018 and the two years which preceded 2017. You need to remember about 2018, because during that year the prices went down from $15,000 to $3,000. How can you be sure that such a bearish trend will not occur this year? Also, what about 2014-16, when the prices dipped by 85%?
5128  Economy / Economics / Re: 10M Bitcoins Haven’t Moved in More Than a Year, Highest Since 2017 on: January 15, 2020, 03:20:24 PM
How many of these coins are lost? Somewhere I read that 3 million to 4 million BTC can't be spend, because no one have the private keys to access them. Satoshi's coins alone account for more than BTC980,000. On top of that, we have coins that were once owned by dead people such as Gerald Cotton and Alexandru Bogdan Semenciuc, which are now lost.
5129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 15, 2020, 03:08:01 PM
The main loss is the stadium revenue and the ticket amount they will be missing if they are conducting in a neutral ground as it is difficult to attract fans in UAE as most of the matches i have seen are played in empty stadiums and if Bangladesh or other teams are willing to play inside Pakistan then it will be good for the cricket fans in Pakistan to enjoy the match and the cricket board will have its revenue, now Sri Lanka and Bangladesh traveled to Pakistan but other than these two nations it will be hard to get another team to play.

A few months back, Sri Lanka had a successful tour of Pakistan. And in case Bangladesh also plays a few matches there, then the PCB can claim that the country is safe to conduct international matches. They can demand that teams such as Australia and England play their matches in Pakistan, rather than conducting them in the United Arab Emirates.
5130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 15, 2020, 02:59:59 PM
I disagree with that, still he is the best finisher in IPL matches and in 2019 world cup we all knows that single runout costed the team to lose and dhoni will reach the crease 99.9% of similar occasions but he fell a frame short.

I still remember an interview from dhoni,on that reporter asked when you are going to retire and he replied "Do you think, Am I not fit to play next world cup?:

The IPL is about to start in another two months from now. Let's see how Dhoni performs during the tournament. I am not expecting any miracles from him. But if Dhoni is able to perform them, then obviously the selectors will be under a lot of pressure to include him in the squad for world cup. But my opinion is that he should concentrate on the ODI format. It may be better to leave the shorter format to the youngsters.

How do you describe about today's match? Is that India played really poor or Australia played something exceptional.

Its good to see the terrific opening partners back into action.

India was a bit rusty. They were overconfident, probably due to all those one sided matches involving them recently. On the other hand, the Australians were very professional and made no mistakes in any of the departments. Australia was the visiting team and yet it looked as if the hosts were under-prepared and the visitors had made a lot of effort in acclimatizing themselves.
5132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV, A Game Changer? on: January 14, 2020, 04:01:25 PM
Bitcoin SV already hit BNB, now BSV price is more than ETH and I think it can hit ETH  in near futur, what do you think?

Rather than looking at the percentage change, you need to look at the absolute change. Increasing by 50% or 60% doesn't matter, if the base is really small. Check this:

BSV rose from $86 per coin to $340 per coin in one month time. The absolute change is $254.

Now check BTC. During the same time, it rose from $7,200 to $8,700. The absolute change is $1,500 per coin, which is 6 times higher than that of BSV.

Aron Finch and Warner has once again broken their own record of partnership against India in ODI. The performance by David Warner after his return to the team is something big. Right now India is strong in Chase and need improvement on batting first. In today's cricket as most of the users mentioned a bigger target could've been set for chasing.

Warner had a horrible time during the Ashes. The Australian selectors showed a lot of courage by not dropping him from the squad. He made less than 100 runs from 10 innings against England. But then he came back strongly against Sri Lanka, Pakistan and New Zealand. Today I feel bad for Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne. They didn't got a chance to bat, as a result of the record breaking stand between Warner and Finch.
5134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 14, 2020, 03:38:03 PM
Today we have some good news as Bangladesh agree to play two test matches in Pakistan as first in going to be played in Rawalpindi 7th February and second on 5th April in Karachi all other details also available as now this tour is going to be in two phases with 3 Twenty/20 and one ODI is also but this all splited which is not bad at all for local fans.

Is this news confirmed? If Bangladesh agrees to this itinerary, then it will be good for Pakistan. They badly need the revenues. And staging matches in UAE involve a lot of expenses and in the end the PCB will end up with hardly any cash in hand. But it was perplexing why the Bangladeshis refused to play the test matches in Pakistan initially. If they have no issues with the T20 matches, then what is the problem with the test matches?
5135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 14, 2020, 03:32:48 PM
I was not expecting result like this but now its all end just Finch is on 94 and going for hundred its already all end.
I was also not expecting this as i was expecting an average first innings score of above 275 runs and made a good bet on that and lost the bet and now both the Australian openers scored their century and aiming for a complete domination without loosing any wicket, when the pitch report said that it would be a batting wicket i did not expect this but it was a batting wicket for Australia as the Indian bowlers are struggling to contain the runs nor pick a wicket.

Even 275 is not enough on a flat track such as Wankhede, but I expected the Indian bowlers to give a tough fight to Australia. Perhaps they should experiment with Navdeep Saini for the next match. He is faster than Shardul Thakur in the air, and that should give him a bit of advantage on flat tracks. Also, Kuldeep Yadav failed to trouble the Australian batsmen. I guess Yuzvendra Chahal would be a better choice for the next match.
5136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 14, 2020, 02:59:10 PM
Australia got a great chance to defeat India at this moment. I know that the bowling line of India is strong but the Aussies batting is nothing less. I think this would be a great match to watch for cricket lovers. My bet is on India still as I believe wind and pitch is supporting the bowlers.

Won by 10 wickets with more than 12 overs to spare!!!

The Australian team landed in India just a couple of days back. They had hardly anytime to get themselves acclimatized. Even after all this, they managed to defeat the no.2 side (as per the ICC ODI rankings) by such a big margin. You can love them, or hate them. But you need to admit that the Australians are the most professional of all the cricketing sides.
5137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: January 14, 2020, 02:51:17 PM
we must be able to distinguish between kyc which is beneficial and which is not. sometimes kyc is announced at the end of token sale. for me if we give kyc only for a $ 25 gift, I don't think it's worth giving our identity. we can count the losses we bear if bad things happen to us, moreover there are doubts about the potential of the project for the future

Even the large exchanges such as Binance are unable to keep KYC information securely. Now how can we expect these smaller exchanges and ICOs to keep the data safe? But in some countries (such as South Korea), the government has made KYC mandatory for investment in the ICOs. In such cases, it won't be the right thing to blame the ICO team for hardships related to the KYC process.
5138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 14, 2020, 02:45:44 PM
Warner just got his hundred. He seems to be in splendid form. Another 55 runs are needed and Australia is having all 10 wickets intact. A lot of praise was showered on the Indian bowlers during the past few months. But see how mediocre is their performance today. Bumrah is returning from an injury and it is understandable. But what about the other bowlers? They look clueless.
Just check scorecard and now feeling very strange as today first ODI was not going to be as this Indian middle order completely fail to give any resistance after Kohli wicket and now bowlers also feeling hot as they have some very special treatment from these two lethal weapons I was not expecting result like this but now its all end just Finch is on 94 and going for hundred its already all end.

Finch has also completed his hundred. The bowlers are looking very ordinary. It is going to be quite humiliating for India, after so many one sided matches against weak teams such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and South Africa recently. 14 more runs are needed and Indian bowlers are trying to pick at least one wicket, which may save them from complete humiliation.

5140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: January 14, 2020, 02:24:58 PM
Altcoins keep digging the ground for crude oil, only a few are flexing muscles. The rest are struggling for survival, investors are wishing they had left the fund in bitcoin. Nothing has changed bad projects keep screwing traders.

There is no shortage of bad projects even now. We have stupid investors, who are willing to invest in projects that have multiple red flags. Nowadays I don't blame the ICO promoters for all these scams. The blame should be directed at the investors, who invest in such projects. They may be doing this because of ignorance or greed (or both). But if they continue with this behavior, then they should never complain about their losses.
