5141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unknown BTC transactions go IN and OUT of my wallet on: March 09, 2019, 01:55:03 AM
-snip- I started to think as well that I don't actually own my key.   Yikes ...not ideal.
-snip-
Based from this, I'm stating to think that you have been scammed or only know less than quarter about "being your own bank" or , aka. in control of the bitcoin wallet or owning the private key(s).
Because, if you do own the private key(s), at least you should be certain that you're the one who've created the wallet (file) and not imported from somewhere/someone else.
FYI, it's normal for a "watch-only" wallet to successfully receive coins, the problem is spending the inputs.

The scenario in the OP will not happen by any chance if those addresses weren't used by someone else or imported by yourself.
It highly unlikely that your address had a collision to an exchange's address (impossibility in a universal scale).

Please tell us what wallet is it and how it was created.
5142  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum private key on: March 08, 2019, 04:00:11 AM
Make sure that you're offline when displaying your Private keys (in case of a malware/virus infection), then follow this:

  • Just click "Wallet" menu, select "Private Keys", and click "Export".
  • Type in your Passphrase and all of your addresses' private keys will be displayed (you can also dump it as CVS or json if you want)

If the wallet name at the top (title bar) displays "watch-only", the private key menu will be unclickable.
5143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Is Now Mining (BTM), over 50% of hashrate, new undisclosed ASIC on: March 08, 2019, 03:13:22 AM
I love how people just constantly ascribe bad intentions to NORMAL HARDWARE TESTS.
I don't know why people think that using the hardware for more than a week/month until it's shipping day is normal hardware tests.

At the same time, that "hardware test" already "killed" the majority of the GPU miners of that particular coin.
Talk about greed.

Another GPU mineable (and profitable) token out of game  Cry
It's not totally a token (Ethereum contract), it's a coin (has its own blockchain).
5144  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Android version /Electrum Bitcoin Wallet on: March 08, 2019, 02:37:20 AM
Just a minor warning!
If you follow BitMaxz's reply, ALL of your Electrum's wallets (including the settings and block_header) will be deleted, not just the old ones.

You can delete a wallet by selecting the said wallet, then click the wallet name above (center-top); next, after opening the wallet details, click the "delete" button just below the screen (lower-right).
5145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unknown BTC transactions go IN and OUT of my wallet on: March 08, 2019, 01:42:44 AM
Okay, if chain (not chart) analysis was involved, there are two things that might have happened:

  • 1. One of your wallet's private key was leaked (by any means) and someone imported it in their own wallet (most of the time, together with other's keys) to "mask" their activity and to divert any investigations being conducted against them.
  • 2. You've imported an address (prv key) to that wallet that has been used to send and receive huge amount of BTC and you used that particular address' inputs together with your own address'.
.
Either way, chain analysis tool will find out that those addresses belong to the same wallet.
5146  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: when start electrum server it goes wrong (Block height out of range) on: March 07, 2019, 05:33:01 AM
It's been a day, you haven't updated yet?
Before anything else, follow HCP's advice to use the Updated Electrum Server software: ElectrumX. He's a trustworthy member, ElectrumX is legit.

Those problems (Mainly the block height) occur because the software itself isn't designed for the updated Bitcoin node.
5147  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto game with Bitcoin payouts - revenue model on: March 07, 2019, 03:36:38 AM
Wait, are those images the actual gameplay (not the visuals) of your game?
I hate to say it but... If it is, this wont be as successful as you thought it would be.

Games are more about art and creativity, the rest is gameplay; not everyone will play for a few satoshis.
Even with limited Graphics and gameplay, you should be at least able to utilize your creativity to make something like an "eye-candy" despite of those limitations.

It's still in pre-apha so I guess that it's not even the quarter of the final product.
But from the looks of the gameplay and color-selection, I think it needs a total overhaul.
5148  Other / Meta / Re: Best place to post this kind of topic? on: March 07, 2019, 03:05:49 AM
Services (click for link) is another valid section to post such a thread -snip-
I second this.
Games and Rounds board is for "contest" and Gambling-related events than recruitment.
Services is valid as long as you're asking for a "service" paid in Bitcoin (Bounties for Altcoin payments).

And also, you'll likely get more participants by posting it to Services board than G&R or Bounties so try to change the payment into BTC.

5150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Bitcoiin 2gen? Is it a good Idea? on: March 06, 2019, 06:40:54 AM
Does anyone know how to check the full transactions history on the B2G wallet? Cause the official explorer shows the 10 latest operations only, right?) Or there is another explorer I'm not aware of.
Did you mean this explorer: https://explorer.bitcoiin.com/?
It does shows the latest 10 blocks/transaction in the main page but it has 1000 pages, you can navigate through all of the txs by clicking the next page.

Your problem might be your internet speed: There is a slight delay (depends on your internet connection) in every update after clicking the page number.

Note: It looks like that there are blocks without transactions in it hinting that there's no one using this coin at all (just the developers?).
And read the warnings (from BCT and the web) of B2G being a scam.
5151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Which wallets support BIP 39 seed? on: March 06, 2019, 03:21:29 AM
-snip-
"Air-Gap" is the same as Cold-Storage, the idea is storing the SEED and private keys in an offline computer for Tx Signing and have an online watch-only wallet where the Master public key was stored to create and broadcast transactions.
Tx can be transferred via QR code, file or HEX format.

For the setup, it's the same as the link from my previous post (Electrum), you can use android phones too.
5152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Number of full nodes since 2015 on: March 06, 2019, 03:04:06 AM
I have been using 1 terabyte harddisk but none of the drive is more than 400 gb. I will purchase an external disk on the weekend and use it to download the entire blockchain.
When I run bitcoin core, it says 5 days will be required to sync, is that normal?
5Days, that's quite long, your internet connection or processor must be at medium spec.
In comparison: Low spec PC and slower internet will take weeks for the node to sync; some reported that they successful sync within a day (must have a beast PC and premium internet connection).

In terms of your 1TB Hard disk and Drives (Partitions), you can always "Shirk Volume" the other partition in order to "Extend Volume" the Partition where the blocks were stored.
At least allocate 700GB for now.
5153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to decode an encrypted WIF key ? on: March 05, 2019, 12:48:06 PM
Let me add the details:

  • 1. Go to bitaddress' Github page: https://github.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org and download the source (zip).
  • 2. Turn off your internet connection, Extract and open it (drag&drop bitaddress.org.html) to your browser.
  • 3. Move your mouse until the 1st address reach 100%, then click "Wallet Details".
  • 4. Check "BIP38 Encrypt?", enter your encrypted key and passphrase, hit "Encrypt BIP38" (sometimes, it changes to "Decrypt" after clicking).
  • 5. After loading, your WIF private key should show up.

5154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Problem order nicehash on: March 05, 2019, 12:16:18 PM
Multipool's minimum payout for Bitcoin is only 0.001BTC and yours should be eligible. However...

Was that "0.003btc" displayed after "Value" or "Balance"?
If it was "Value", that's just the estimate BTC value of all of your mined coins based from the current price of those coins and Bitcoin.
It isn't the Withdrawal balance.

AFAIK, Multipool has auto-switching on as default (could be wrong) and it will automatically switch to the compatible coin with the highest profitability; that would mean that you have a balance for various altcoins in Multipool.

The OP (and the next reply) were as clear as mud, what exactly happened?
5155  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MLM – a dangerous marketing strategy on: March 05, 2019, 07:14:59 AM
-snip-
Some MLM strategies are more legit than others and are actually backed by good products, like Tupperware and some cleaning and health products, so this can be used as a good direct marketing strategy without the Ponzi scheme connection.  Wink
But will still collapse at the very bottom of the pyramid when the recruits find it hard to get referrals or sell their initial paid products/merchandise and ended up as a "sales agent with a tuition fee" than a marketeer.

By the way, (Overpriced) health products are the number one candidate for pyramiding scams, specially "heath" juices and stupid herb pills which mostly doesn't have a significant heath benefits (like putting a bitter gourd flesh in a capsule).
5156  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: iVendPay - a vending machine payment module on: March 05, 2019, 03:48:53 AM
-snip-
Looks like they will be showcasing their new Point of Sale module on the HK Blockchainweek soon!
Looks like a modified Android phone with pre-installed app and it looks cheap too.... in a good way (it needs to be as cheap as possible).

I wonder what is the function of that "top-screen".
In the video, it has only one screen on the front; if it was the same unit, the other screen would be inserted inside of the vending machine.
What is it, a Card Scanner or something?
5157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How do I restore wallet.dat using v0.11.1 (64-bit) Bitcoin Core on: March 05, 2019, 03:10:27 AM
Just copy and paste it (overwrite when prompted) in the default directory. If the current wallet.dat have balance, back-up it as well before overwriting.

5158  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Controlling Lightning Wallet BTC Using Electrum on: March 04, 2019, 08:16:01 AM
If that's the case, you can try importing your peach wallet's Master Private Key and import it through Electrum's "Use a Master Key" option.
I don't know how to extract it from peach wallet though.

One more problem though, you mentioned about lightning wallet BTC.
So if the funds are still in the channels, it wont be restored in your newly created wallet by simply importing the SEED or keys.
5159  Other / Meta / Re: [QUESTION] How Can I Activate Copper Membership? on: March 04, 2019, 05:28:50 AM
-snip-
Eh?
But the message in his profile is self-explanatory, he just have to pay the missing 0.0005BTC in order to activate copper membership.

When it's unpaid, it will be displayed as:

Available paid memberships:
Copper - 0.00675676 BTC: Allows you to post images even if you are a newbie, reduces the time-between-actions limit, and provides some of the same benefits as being of natural Member rank.
I second Nemo's post.
5160  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Honeyminer? on: March 04, 2019, 04:20:29 AM
Been using it a few weeks now - you're not going to make a fortune with a consumer grade pc or anything but for what its worth its fun and easy to use. I'm enjoying it so far
Today, we're not really making any profit with Altcoin mining either (small scale); with just a few exceptions though.

I didn't use the service because of the obvious reasons (minimum payout but they accept "low hashrates") which will take years even with GPUs with their non-optimized miner.

Is this the same as Coinhive? ...But pays in Bitcoin.
If you don't know coinhive, it's kind of a miner embedded in the site's code to mine via browser using the CPU of the PC (monetization alternative).
All the hashes will be summed to the website owner's account to be used to mine Monero in coinhive's own pool.
