5141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: bitcoinbetus scam on: January 03, 2019, 09:49:06 AM
Hey guys,

So today i found a website called bitcoinbetus.com ; it looked interesting for my gambling addiction so i said sure, i'll deposit 100$ and have some fun. Low and behold I pot a jackpot, play some more i pot another jackpot. okay i'm gonna withdraw now and i get flagged for suspicious activity. This is the support reply:

I mean really? i'm suppost to deposit 0.1 btc to be able to withdraw my balance? hahah okay, so i noticed this little thing on main page:

https://imgur.com/a/Yi5pkeq

At this point i was extremely suspicious and i didn't want to install this to my machine. So i installed virtual box and booted windows there. I opened the file in sandbox and nothing happened. I was kind of expecting this and low and behold my bitdefender is logging connection attempt:

Infected web resource detected

Feature:
Web Protection

The application virtualbox.exe accesses a web resource http://91.243.80.147/index.php  that has been detected as infected. The web resource has been successfully blocked and your PC is now safe.

Suffice to say i shut down that virtualbox and won't run it again. STAY AWAY

First of all, thank you for informing the community. You were very brave to continue the process after asking you to deposit money in order to make a withdrawal. When I see a message like this I stop every activity and abandon the casino. It is the biggest red flag that makes me identify that a casino is a scam.
5142  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: January 03, 2019, 09:44:14 AM
Maybe just few people still beginner about crypto and bitcoin are tired, because they do not know detail how bitcoin and altcoin could be lower and higher price, many investor keep stay cool with how ever bitcoin and altcoin price.

Why not the opposite happens? I remember when I first came to crypto, I wasn't concerned about Bitcoin price and how the market is going. Even when I suffered losses I still continue to have faith in the comeback. It is how you see it. Personally, I see it as a long-term investment, I accumulate more coins and wait for it to grow.
5143  Economy / Economics / Re: PREDICTION IS SOMETIMES LIKE A FALSE PROMISE on: January 03, 2019, 09:40:05 AM
Last year saw many people predict BTC year-end prices, but nothing was validated with time. it is very difficult for BTC to reach predictable prices. Future price predictions fail to consider many factors and problems that may occur over time. Maybe, we can only estimate the value of assets for the next few days like weather experts.

What I have understood this year, is that no prediction can be proofed valid. These people who were making predictions about the price of BTC, they just wanted to give hype and make people buy in order for them to make bigger profits. Or the opposite, to short the market. There is evidence in charts and historical data can give an insight about which direction the market is going to follow but it is just speculation. You can't rely on that 100%.
5144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem: Lost today $2000 on PrimeDice on: January 03, 2019, 09:30:33 AM
I'm suggesting everyone to not judge the op because of his losses. He might be a newbie but he deserve to not to be judge.

We have all been to his position in the past. For someone $2000 is not a huge amount for someone else it is. Everyone has lost money in gambling and everyone has his own experience and advice to give to this person. I believe we all try to help each other in here, and don't judge someone for his losses. It is normal to lose but it is not normal to risk your life savings.
5145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: betting method profit guaranteed no paying on: January 03, 2019, 09:24:23 AM
From my personal experience in this forum, when the OP doesn't share details about what he is doing it looks too shady to me. It is like you are trying to make them contact you and maybe then you will ask them to bet on something (only God knows why).
If your strategy is guaranteed then show us some proof or share a prediction here and make us believe in your skills.
5146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is growing at nonstop rates in my country on: January 03, 2019, 09:18:48 AM
Is this an isolated phenomenon or it's just where im from? I see more and more gambling commercials, tv ads, and I see more and more gambling spots all over the streets. There were casinos before but im talking about places where people take bets usually on soccer and other sports, not a classic casino with the usual casino stuff. I see they are located near high schools too. This could cause a gambling addiction epidemic among the youth, which has a hard time making money these days and feel desperate and end up gambling whatever little they make.

I claim this cannot be a simple coincidence. The rich have always gambled, but lower end classes weren't gambling that much in the past as far as I know. There weren't definitely as many gambling spots all over the place before.

I can think of at least two things that this is happening in your country. First of all, it is true that lower end classes weren't gambling so much. The reason why they gamble more now is that they became poorer. The global wealth is accumulated to little people so the poor class tries to gain their losses by gambling. It is reasonable but they will probably be poorer eventually.
And also, during Christmas holidays casinos do aggressive marketing in order to attract customers. It is the most active period of sales for them.
5147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: God of winning be with all the gamblers in 2019. on: January 03, 2019, 09:13:08 AM
I believe that currently we should not hesitate to make this prayers that God should put his favor on us and for us to keep making many winning trade than 2018.
I guess in every religion Gambling is prohibited. Meaning you are asking God's Marcy for something which he forbid for you. Did you really mean the wish?  Grin

Quote

Haha, I came here to express the same opinion. Gambling is something that it is a bad action in every religion ( i think). How is it possible that he will help you in order to make a profit from it? Maybe you should reform your pray and make it something like "Help me not to lose money or Help me to make money".
5148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decentralized Dice Games? on: January 03, 2019, 09:03:17 AM
I am trying lately a new decentralized casino where I play Dice there. It is named Tronbet and you can currently bet only with TRX.
It is decentralized as there is a pool created will the lost bets and every 24h it is distributed to the native token holders.

I really enjoy it as I can play directly from my wallet by using tronlink extension, thus profits are directly credited to my balanced in just a few seconds after I win the Dice bet. However, I am not sure if the code is already released to the public in case you want to check.
5149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 02, 2019, 09:07:59 PM
Juventus president, Andrea Agnelli has apparently instructed the clubs sports management to contact the entourage of Mbappe to check how feasible a transfer to Juventus is. Juve needs money to finance such a deal and Dybala would in that case be sacrificed. Would be sorry to see such a talent leave Juve and Serie A.

That deal will be very interested.
I don't think that Mbappe is needed in Juventus after Ronaldo came to the club. He is enough to make them competitive along with the already established squad that Juve has. Also, they have already spent too much money on Ronaldo. I can't see where they will find money for Mbappe because Dybala doesn't worth so much money.
Maybe they should sell 2-3 players and give someone on loan for making the deal come true.
5150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: January 02, 2019, 08:14:10 PM
Gambling Affects your life either in a good or bad way in the long run. Some of those effects that can change your life are:

Good Effects:
*Can make money easily (not guaranteed)
*Gives so much pleasure
*Meeting new friends
*Can increase your assets

Bad Effects:
*Big loss
*Increased on your debt
*Loss jobs
*Depression/Stressed
*Broken Family/Failed on relationship
*Insufficient Funds

Despite of this effects many people are still want to continue gambling, how can you handle this possible effects of gambling in your life?

Indeed this is a good list and describes gambling in total. But the one good eliminates a bad one. For example, if you suffer a big loss you cannot increase your assets or make money easily.
I would say that the worst thing that gambling can do to anyone is depression and stress. And when this happens then all the close relatives are affected and lives are ruined.
5151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: January 02, 2019, 08:06:34 PM
I always feel satisfied when winning in gambling, by having that feeling I feel a bit of pride from myself. A little sad but I think almost all gamblers have the same feelings like me, then how about you? Do you want to share your story for us discussing in here.

When I win my feelings are mixed. I want to gamble more because I am on a streak and I think that there is a chance to get more. But also, I have a strange feeling that If I bet more I will lose them all. And most of the time this happens. When you win you should always stop because this is how it works.  After getting a steak of green then red comes.
In general, I feel my adrenaline rates getting bigger and this is the main reason that I gamble.
5152  Economy / Economics / Re: thinking of selling or investing more. on: January 02, 2019, 11:38:14 AM
Because nobody knows when the market will start to rise. But, as I expected, this time not from Sales just stopped and watched the market and appreciate this time with I family on the grounds that in a few months the market will start to rise. So this time there is no compelling reason to offer. I don't know myself and I can't predict the increase. But if the coin that I hold is valid and worth holding, I better hold it or I have to cut my losses.

This is the main concern of all the crypto hodlers. I am mixing these two activities. I am trading and selling my alts and accumulating more Bitcoins right now. I think that BTC is very low right now and it will moon more than the alts will do. So, when I see the price of an altcoin that seems reasonable to sell I instantly sell it for buying BTC. Even a small rise will happen in the market sooner or later.
5153  Economy / Economics / Re: S&P 500 and Stock Markets Worldwide Close Out Worst Year Since 2008 on: January 02, 2019, 11:32:15 AM
We are on the verge of an economic downturn and this is the major reason of this market decline. We have passed years of economic growth (we even saw negative discount rates at the start of this year). Economies are moving like a cycle when they go up then they go down and vice versa. Investors are afraid that the economic downturn is inevitable and along with political instability around the globe, this is getting more intense.
5154  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is the richest person? on: January 02, 2019, 11:11:16 AM
I know Jeff Bezos is considered the richest known person but there is a lot of hidden wealth in the world.

I've heard the following people may actually be trillionaires:

Putin
Oil Saudis
Rothschild family
Maybe some people tell the amount of his wealth to the public, but in my opinion there are still some people who are richer who hide their wealth without telling the amount of wealth to the public, and satoshi could be the richest person in the future if bitcoin has higher value in the future.

LOL. What do you mean with the word "telling"? These guys don't need to tell anything. Everything is reported in their financial statements and the wealth that is produced by their companies which is also reported and signed by auditors. I would say that there will be many black money but if you are an entrepreneur of this level is difficult to hide your income from the public authorities.
5155  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: January 02, 2019, 11:04:51 AM
What do you think, how many people are ready to sell their goods or services on crypto? Let's say that we have service which help quick and easy to build online store and sell for cryptocurrency. What kind of reasons can motivate people to start a crypto business?

It is a double edge sword for small businesses. First of all, they need to make an investment in order to get an ATM or equipment that will help them make these transactions. Also, this kind of companies needs liquidity for their operations so they need to cash out instantly within a short period of time. On the other hand, they will be able to attract a new market where people are able to make crypto payments anonymously.
If I had an online shop I would totally accept crypto as a payment method. Nothing to lose only to earn!
5156  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about crypto currency issued by the government? on: January 02, 2019, 10:53:17 AM
It is said that central banks plan to release their own curypto currency in some countries, for example Japan..

How do you think about these crypto?

Cryptocurrencies are all about decentralization. If the government issued crypto will have this feature then I totally agree with such a cryptocurrency. I am in favor of a little "control" in the cryptos in order to avoid scams but not in a high volume because then the system will not be decentralized.
5157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the house always win???? on: January 02, 2019, 10:33:09 AM
It is not true that the House always wins. For sure they need to make a profit so many people end up losing because the bigger the chances are with the house. However, people can still win. There is a theory that you can maximize your earnings by play just once all the money you have accumulated for gambling. The reason of this is that you have bigger possibilities of winning and also if you win your profit will be the most.

People don't want to risk all their money in the first hand. Thus, they place small bets that they end up making them lose all their funds. This is why the myth is created that House always wins.
5158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: January 02, 2019, 10:19:18 AM
I am not really a gambler but I heard about people who can't quit it and keep losing lots of money. Do you think the attitude to gambling addiction should be the same as to drug addiction?
Should the government forbid gambling and treat somehow those who are addicted?
Or maybe it should be left up to an adult? I mean, should people decide on their own whether they need to gamble or not.
What do you think?

By Banning gambling is not going to give a solution to the problem. If this ever happens then people will turn to play illegally making harm to the domestic economy. Also, people will be more addicted as it will be harder to find a place to gamble and their addiction rates will be increased. I truly believe that gambling addiction is a disease and psychological solutions need to be given to this issue.
5159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: January 02, 2019, 09:37:34 AM
From my personal experience, I feel more addicted to gambling when I keep losing my bets. The combination of losing your money and you want to get them back, along with the chance of making a profit and grow your fund make you addicted to Gambling.
Expectations trigger Addiction. And also no one can deny the fact that people feel entertained when they gamble. I am not an expert but maybe some hormones like Adrenaline are strongly correlated and trigger addictions such as gambling.
5160  Economy / Economics / Re: Predictions 2019: 3 potential triggers for the next Bitcoin bull run on: January 01, 2019, 08:14:04 PM
Predictions 2019: 3 potential triggers for the next Bitcoin bull run

So far, the price of bitcoin has decreased, many people ask questions, what catalyst is needed to trigger the next increase?

1.   The rollout of a security token ecosystem
2.   BAKKT dan munculnya pasar berjangka institusional baru
3.   SEC approval of a Bitcoin ETF

What do you think about this.
source: https://bravenewcoin.com/insights/predictions-2019-3-potential-triggers-for-the-next-bitcoin-bull-run

I agree Of all the potential catalysts floating close to the surface, the general consensus is that these three are the most likely candidates.

The biggest trigger that will push the market to the next bull run is going to be an economic collapse of an economy that directly affects the global indices. If an economy will be in trouble, then the citizens of this country will probably turn to Bitcoin in order to avoid inflationary trends. Have a look at what happened when the Turkish Lira dropped during summer 2018.
