5141  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: August 26, 2019, 05:21:06 PM
Common man was forced to do something about his financial situation, that is why we have so many people doing risky investments and what not, hell even the reason why people are getting scammed so much as well because they are forced to do something about their situation.

Nobody has enough money to live anymore, there are very few people who can live with their salary, maybe CEO's are living a good life but right now regular people are having hard time surviving on their wages and that forces them to find a way to make more money in order to have a better life that is not barely living. 90% of all people in the whole world is basically in a state of "surviving" instead of "living", they have enough money to cover for basic life needs like food and shelter, things that are regular stuff back in the day became luxury over time.
5142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales Every time change the market?? on: August 26, 2019, 04:04:48 PM
Just buy and hold, only whales know where the price will go.
Is it only one whale that we have in the market that they will know the price direction of bitcoin, dot forget that we dint have a single whale in the market, there are whales from different locations with different order mind set, as one whale is thinking of putting money into the market, another whale may actually be thinking of how to withdraw large amount of money, and whales also depends on FOMO also, the reason why they pump money is for the value to shoot up a little bit with the hope that many people will see it as bull run and start investing in it for their own investment to appreciate, but they are also with doubts too, as they don’t know if their strategy will work or not, so it is not every whales that can determine the price of a crypto, except all those smaller cryptos.
5143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin will Hit $100,000 in or Before 2022 on: August 26, 2019, 02:30:38 PM
Do you agree with me on my prediction that Bitcoin price will hit 100k before December 2022?

I definitely do not agree that by 2022 the bitcoin price will reach $ 100,000. Look at the current stage:

August 22, 2019 the price is $ 10,000... still no have huge demand, BAKKT will enter in scene on September 23, we will see how much demand it will bring in the coming months, but even if it brought a lot Demand, I believe we would see at most $ 60,000 by 2020.
What is the gap between the $100k and the $60k, if you do not believe that by 2022, bitcoin could reach $100k, then why will you believe that by next year which is around the corner, bitcoin price will reach that $60k? This was the same expectation that led people into FOMO in the last bull run, and rather tan them taking profit, they were busy investing at peak.

You need to understand that there are two faces to the coin, the head and the tail, and when you toss the coin, it could go any direction. In the cryptocurrency market, we are simply divided into two groups, the bull group and the bear group, if you are the type that is investing, you fall for bull but if you are the type that is taking money, you fall for bear group, no matter how hard the bulls try to pump the market, the bears will always force the price of the market down, forcing it not to meet up to expectation, so you see why it will be a little bit difficult to reach that.
5144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Long term advance notice! on: August 26, 2019, 01:11:48 PM
Why are people still obsessed with this douchebag? Proof of keys or GTFO. It is the simplest way to prove he is Satoshi. None of this foolish pageantry. Only newbies are hooked to his BSV bullshit.
For people who do know with CW bullshit propaganda will just simply ignore this but the sad fact that there are still newbies who are being mislead with this bullsh*t news around.
With the bullshit news, what has he then achieved with it, he is only just trying to ridicule himself, I think when people see him now, they see someone that is into marijuana and its turning his head to say all those rubbish he is saying, and does he think that he will ever succeed to make the price of bitcoin drop so as to promote bsv? He has really failed.

if bitcoin did not drop in price with the FUD news that has come from world leaders' like trump, the issue of India with bitcoin, and china news planning to ban mining and many more, then there is nothing that can really drop bitcoin price ever again, so he should better take all his talk to himself and go spend his money with his family and if he is interested investing in BC, rather than creating panic news, he has better invest now.
5145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: List of physical attacks against Bitcoin owners on: August 26, 2019, 11:55:55 AM
Jameson Lopp just published his gathered list of physical attacks against Bitcoin owners: https://github.com/jlopp/physical-bitcoin-attacks
He wants to show us how important is privacy to Bitcoin, anyone who loudly talks about coins that they own on social media are making themselves a target. Lopp himself became a victim of such attack and since then he took a lot of measures to become untraceable.
I've read this article and I've found that, those indecents are so awful. Of course privacy is the most important thing in our life and Those incidents teaches us,
not to share about any news(like bitcoin) on social media that how much worth bitcoin or altcoin you have own.
That is right, we have to be able to control our mouth, if you look at when binance was hacked, I think the CEO later came to tell the public how the hacker got to know about their weakness, which was through audience that he granted some press at a certain time, and then the hacker picked their weakness and used it against them.

So we really have to watch our utterances in the crypto space so that we don’t get an attack by those other people also. We should endeavor to protect ourselves and also try as much as possible to have at least two wallet, one should be where we won't even have access to its key until maybe later in future when the need arise, while the second wallet should be use for our daily transaction of cryptocurrency for security purpose.
5146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Eats the World, or Not on: August 25, 2019, 08:18:08 PM
I do not think that Bitcoin will be able to eat up all the organizations and currencies in the world. It takes decades to replace the fiat and decentralized world, and Bitcoin is unlikely to do so. However, in my opinion, what should change the world will base on the Blockchain
No it won't, I think that we are just the ones thinking beyond the vision of bitcoin creator himself, the creator of this coin made it known to everyone that it is meant to serve as alternative to fiat and would be more useful within the network of those that believes in it, I mean within the people that will be a part of the 21 million limit that is set on it.

It is impossible for it to take over the world because the world is too big and being controlled by world powerful leaders whom some of them would never agree to its usage while some of them would agree, but than God that it is an internet money, and will be more used by those who are technology incline. so that dream that it will eat up the earth one day is one that I think will never come through.
5147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymity VS tracing transactions. on: August 25, 2019, 07:47:41 PM
Everyone will mostly go for the anonymity of bitcoin, and this is the major part of the coin that are even of threat to the government itself, and that is why they are running everything possible with Microsoft to see how they can crack the code and destroy the anonymity of the coin.

I understand that it can also be tempting though, I mean tracing of transaction, because right now, I am looking for any system that would deal with those scammers that has used the system to defraud lots of people of their hard earned money, which makes me want to belong to the second group sometimes, but anonymity can be so much tempting, and I think I am sorry to those that is losing their fund, I still represent anonymity and this is what I liked the system for.
5148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 23, 2019, 03:16:31 PM
I am just wondering what you mean by them sacrificing. It is safe to say you are one of the supports of gambling a s a profession and that’s not really a good thing. Gambling is a game for entertainment and I believe that’s the kind of player you are. How then can you admire someone who is doing something wrong and against gambling policy because I believe gambling as a profession is not recognized in gambling.

If the efforts professional gamblers put into the game was invested into something better, they would definitely be better citizens of their different countries but then, they decided to waste the effort on something that is not profitable.
I think I really need to know what is wrong with supporting gambling as a profession. I don’t understand how we make it seem like a horrible habit. If you choose to have it for fun, then fine. It doesn’t mean everyone has to be like you. Maybe you have enough money to take care of your needs and all you need is to relax but don’t forget there are many in need of clothing, shelter and other basic needs, so they might have to raise money by gambling and I fall into this category of persons.

It is right to advise professional gamblers to be wise when playing and to avoid greed but what is wrong is to discriminate, I find that very offensive. We all have our lives to live, and let everyone do what seems pleasing to them. This is my opinion, Period.
5149  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: August 22, 2019, 07:58:11 PM
That's what you guys are missing, we know that Watford will play teams like Chelsea and Liverpool and what not and get a lot of views which means a lot of view times for the sponsorship and that is great but we have no clue how much sportsbet has paid for it, hence what I am saying is that for a whole lot cheaper (I am sure it must be miles cheaper) you can get something closer, Watford would have games that nobody watches as well, they are not gonna play against Manchester united every week, and here with my idea you can get 4 million views on youtube every month easily and maybe a bit for special sponsorship video as well for maybe 1% of the price.

Now you can of course go pick Watford because the numbers will be higher and views will be bigger but for the same amount of money you can literally brand the whole 9th tier teams of essex for example, like all jerseys all stadium names all league names, would be basically full of sportsbet and would be still cheaper. I am looking at it from a money perspective which would have been cheaper with not zero views, you still get views but you pay really really less.
5150  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: August 22, 2019, 07:01:02 PM
I don’t even get the reason why people are always against KYC, the only reason I have been seeing around is the fact that they will sell their data and not a single person has been able to come out to say this is where their data has been sold to and this is what they have done with the data. I have never even see where they say someone died as a result of data they sold, so I found out that people just like to blow things out of proportion and it’s not really worth it.

KYC is for our own benefit, and with KYC, they can even be able to control the crime rate of cryptocurrency that has been destroying the identity of crypto, and if we really want government to regulate the crypto market, there is nothing we can do than to accept KYC because this is the major tool that they use.
5151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: don't easily trust IEO, be careful with that on: August 21, 2019, 03:31:10 PM
the emergence of the IEO has attracted many new investors and old investors, most investors, are now turning to investing in IEO. but remember, we can't fully trust IEO, I'm very sure that something good can turn bad at any time!
the world of cryptoqurency is very anonymous and you must always be vigilant with every action you will take.
People are gullible enough to think that teams who are creating this suddenly changed, its the same people who did ICO who are now doing IEO, I am not saying its the exact same individuals but it is same kind of person that is doing it, different people but same human if you know what I mean. That is why thinking that somehow ICO's are not profitable but IEO's are profitable is gullible, they may look profitable right now but in reality they are still the same thing and you are still risking money on a team that told you they will make a good amount of profit for you but that is purely your trust towards them, maybe they will maybe they won't there is no knowing of how the team will develop the coin, it doesn't matter if it was ICO or IEO in the end you are going to end up with less money if the team doesn't deliver.
5152  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: August 21, 2019, 01:56:29 PM
@game-protect
Have you read the first paragraph of what I have written? I am talking about the second part of that sentence which is "winning" players who "won" to become "winning". It doesn't matter anyway because I do agree with you probably for the first time ever, hell maybe for the first time ever someone agrees with you on bitcointalk.

If they use these words then they try to market it like they allowed people to withdraw 500 million dollars, you have every single right to think it like that and I would have thought the same thing if I didn't know how eosbet worked.

However, it is clearly the 500 million won wagers that mostly then lost afterwards, otherwise 34 billion dollars wagered makes no sense at all or they would have to have an insane amount of difference in house edge. Basically there is no way 500 million was withdrawn, it is just marketing way of saying "people won 500 million on their bets but looking at dividends they lost it right back".
5153  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: August 21, 2019, 06:14:52 AM
Hashtag united is literally a youtube team, they have 468 thousand subscribers in youtube versus.... 29 thousand of Watford. Facebook and twitter makes no sense anyway because facebook has been gone for years now and not that many people use it, plus twitter can be grinded very easily with fake bots anytime you want.

However, for a "jersey" sponsorship I would definitely pick hashtag united because you have half a million people watching every single game of hashtag united to see how they work, they would probably make a sponsorship video as well and put it there and you could have a place on their "description" part of every video too if you make it into contract.

Long story short instead of picking the team that would only get air time if they are playing against a good team like Watford I would at least pick a team that has a great futuristic potential, definitely would cost less than Premier league sponsorship as well and twice a week half a million people would watch the games with the jersey on beating the other team totaling around 4 million views of that jersey alone a month. Kinda worths it if you ask me.
5154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bullrun time is the best time to trade on: August 20, 2019, 07:53:38 PM
The best time you can trade and win big is when market is surging, especially when you are using bitcoin to trade you will easily earn good profit if you know how to use candle sticks,i was able to earn hundreds of dollars when bitcoin was at 9k and something tells me bitcoin will make it back to 10k so i start trading and i was right all along, bullrun time is the best time to trade.
The reason why bull run time is best to trade is because the market is highly volatile then, and you will get a very fast and high fluctuation in prices that would give you the chance to be able to make as much as you can within a short period of time, with 1 BTC I was able to make $2000 within a day because the market fluctuated low and high twice within that 24 hrs giving me the chance to make such amount of money.

Although some of my trade then was based in gut instinct, it was not good to rely on gut instinct though, but at least, I was able to make that much and I am still making, juts that during the bull run, once still have to be very careful so that we don’t place order at peak like some of us did in 2017 which is still working against most of us by now.
5155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new traders are playing to lose on: August 20, 2019, 07:23:05 PM
Well it's his own fault trading without any knowledge, most new traders just getting into the hype and fall for market condition. They need to learn first all about trading then start with a small capital and when they have enough experience they can go for higher funds to trade.
How many new traders wants to listen to this advice,  all they are just after is how they are going to enter the trade and picture the amounts of money they can make with little without acknowledging that everything is to be played by the rule, most traders that we even see just  picking interest in the market now does not even wants to go through the stress of learning how to apply strategies, so what they do is to use gut instinct to place order for their trade and then sell still using gut instinct, but you know what, it is better that they do whatever they like, when it is time for them to be thought lesson, no one will really advise them to run after the knowledge because they will need it badly after they have failed several times.
5156  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: August 19, 2019, 05:27:57 PM
I think supporting hashtag united would have made much more news because they have been one of the most talked clubs in all of sports for the past year when they started their first ever official football league and than became champions, hell they are 17th in all of UK for a team with most social media followers, only 16 teams have more followers than hashtag united and this team is currently in 9th tier of British football league pyramid.

However, they are sponsored by football manager itself and I am %99 sure that they are getting more money from their sponsors than many other teams and if Sporstbet wanted to sponsor Hashtag United it would have been either considerably more expensive to try and beat out football manager in funding or at the very least you would get a minor sponsorship. In any case it would be great to get a digital team turned into big club getting sponsored by a crypto sportsbook turned giant.
5157  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: August 19, 2019, 04:36:13 PM
That's the problem with definition of words. If they mean that they literally allowed people to withdraw 500 million total so far than game-protect is right, and I am 100% sure they haven't allowed people to withdraw 500 million dollars, they just meant that all the winning bets so far totals at 500 million dollars which is doable considering people have been wagering with high amounts but big chance to win in order to basically lose less frequently and have a high bet token mining operation.

Now, is game-protect wrong to think that there is 34 billion calculation along the math? Yes, but is it his fault? No.
Because, eosbet is wrong to write "won" because that is not how winning works, so with a wrong word usage there was a miscalculation and not properly understanding what they meant.
5158  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: August 19, 2019, 03:42:44 PM
It is profitable here because we are the type of people who got in early, people who got in at around 20 thousand dollars is not as lucky as us and they are still waiting for it. I mean even people who got in later might have made some money because we moved beyond 10 thousand dollars many times, the only people who have lost is the people who bought above 10 thousand dollars at any time. But, profits are truly better than any other place because we are volatile and that volatility causes us to have so much more chance to make a profit, it also creates chances to lose as well but if you are lucky enough there is nowhere in the world where you can make as much money as you would normally make in crypto world, here is the real place where you make a ton of money.
I bought above 10K too recently out of fomo, but I still have my gains in the sense that I have some investment that I made when the value was still like $4000 which presently, I am still keeping till bitcoin bull run starts and I see my coin grow from that $4000 to $100,000, this particular investment is tied for a really long time.

I mean till bitcoin fully develops even if it takes 10 years, then I still have another investment I am using for short term which I sold half of it when bitcoin was $13k, I bought that around $3k, but the one I bought around $13k is what I am still presently loosing on, but I know that very soon, there will be a rebound and I will start making profit on that one when the price of bitcoin falls back above $15000 which would have been greater than what I bought.

How to prove ta project in not Scam?

That is difficult to prove the project will be a scam or not, and there are no exact indicators to determine a scam. But it will prove in the middle of their journey, and they will get a slowly moves in the project, they will hard to survive in the market and in the end, they will scam their investor and their participants. Many projects are hard to get listed on the exchange, and usually, after the project has finished the first phase of the token sale, they will delay giving the reward to the participants.
There are still some projects that you will easily spot out from the beginning through our research, that is if we are the type that do research, it is not every scammers that you see are that smart and you could sense from some of the things related to them that they are scam, in fact from their team, you will know if the project team are going to be smart and if they have the potential of developing the project to a performing one.

For the ones that are not easily spotted through research, we will surely know as you said, this is why it becomes necessary for investors to just be patient and then wait for the project to be launched first before getting to buy from the exchange market, at least through the exchange they are even listed on, you will know if it is a quality or low project.
5160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bearish short term but Bullish long term on: August 19, 2019, 10:13:16 AM
We should look at the bigger picture here, what we have seen is just a minor correction, that what's been happening since we made a run from April-Aug. There will be times that we thought that the bears has taken over the market again. And the next thing we know, the bulls are back and people started to FOMO again. So I would not be surprise to see roller coaster ride and then investors taking the opportunity for every dip to fatten their wallet.
Keep your heart and your wallet bigger because price has moving nature so when it falls you will have to show how much your heart is stronger and when the price Will be high it will give you chance to full your wallet . Market rise and fall does not have fixed time any time price can change just be calm. And wait.
Investing in cryptocurrency is really for the people that have a very strong heart really because if you dint have, many people will just be falling sick when they see the price of bitcoin grow today, and by the time they wake up next day, they see that it has declined, and they will be filled with regret of not taking action, but as someone who is strong like you want them to be, they will only try to spot out their own mistakes from it and understand that it could happen at any time and to anyone because of the volatility of the market.

Most investors just need to make sure that they invest in coins that will not go out of function in future, once a project is still active, volatility would not be much of a problem because the volatility will not be there forever.
