Liverpool is winning Burnley on the go as Roberto Firmino scored at the 43rd minute, first half is over, second half will start soon. This is one of the game I just which to watch today which I believe will determine who will go for Champions League between Liverpool and Leceister City, both clubs have 66 points but with Liverpool leading with goals. If Liverpool can win this game, they will have the zeal to win the season's final match which will be played with Crystal Palace while Liverpool will have home advantage.
5142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 18, 2021, 09:07:26 PM
Chelsea already playing good so it can qualify for Champions League, I hope this match is already won by Chelsea as only few minutes extra time remains.

I thought Manchester City go going to win against Brighton. But it seems, losing a man 10 minutes into the game, weakened them. And also Brighton was not ready to lose today's match.
Manchester City can win such game, but no more much effort because they have already won this season EPL League, this can make a club not to play like it ought to, this is the reason I can not take Man City to win any EPL game for now.
5143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is not disappearing at least until 2140 so HODL and don't have weak hands! on: May 18, 2021, 09:00:15 PM
Also nothing will happen to bitcoin after 2140 than miners fee that will be replaced totally by transaction fee, bitcoin is a valuable asset that will become more valuable aynthe time.
5144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin continues dumping even MicroStrategy purchased additional Bitcoin. on: May 18, 2021, 02:50:16 PM
Pretty much every institution is giving up on bitcoin, that's why it's dumping. Saylor is the lone holdout, but even he'll bail once this gets far enough below $24k, which it 100% will. Bitcoin is dead. You're better off with cash in a low yield savings account at this point.
Bitcoin is having a strong support at $40000, this is what we should first talk about rather than saying it will crash to $24000. Likely the bear market might have started but there will really be a support at $40000 for now. If institutions can act like Michael Saylor, we should expect buy back and price increase.
5145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 18, 2021, 02:32:03 PM
Man United match today will be a big win for them, Fulham will certainly relegate and nothing can change that, we all have known the clubs that will relegate along, West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United.

Can't wait for the Chelsea - Leicester game today. Basically all outcomes suit us, although the worst one would be a Chelsea win. Then there's a possibility that the goal difference between us and Leicester would decide who goes to the CL.
I am expecting Chelsea to win this match, Chelsea has the home advantage but I noticed it has been hard to win Leicester City, but this game is one of the ways to know who might go to Champions League next season, but the result today may yet remain uncertain until next match is played.
5146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 18, 2021, 02:16:17 PM
It seems very busy discussing Atletico and Madrid ahead of the last week of La Liga. A little bit of an advantage for madrid they will appear at home but they have quite a strong opponent, a candidate to win the Europa League. As for Atletico I think the opponents are relatively lighter but they have to play at home to Valladolid.

I'm aware that madrid's chances are only 30% of winning, but I hope madrid win in the last game. Meanwhile, if Atletico draw Madrid still don't win because they seem to lose goal productivity.
If Real Madrid draw or win is not the concern, Real Madrid can also have home advantage, but Villarreal is a very tough to win club for now, the outcome of the match is not predictable, but even if Real Madrid win the game, the league will most likely still be won by Atletico because Real Valladolid are weak them. I noticed Real Valladolid will not want to lose for the club not to relegate and will play good, but Altetico Madrid will make the club relegate after the last match as it will be a loss for Real Valladolid.
5147  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Doge scammers take advantage of SNL to scam people on YouTube on: May 18, 2021, 09:02:32 AM
Additionally, he took advantage that new DOGE user who joined because of meme/Elon Musk don't have much experience and common sense.. While "send and receive 2x coin" isn't new technique, $5 million isn't a joke, you could retire from your job.
Only fool or ignorant people will truly fall for this scam, people that are greedy.

Scammers are not smart and they reuse old methods. Only victims of scammers are not smart enough or stupid.
The reason I said the scammer (or the scammers are) is smart is because he uses the original livestream of Musk SNL with scam ads, if I am to be sincere, I have heard about the ones that uses celebrity accounts before and the one that were even on YouTube directly, but this original livestream of a thing with scam ad is new to me.
5148  Economy / Scam Accusations / Doge scammers take advantage of SNL to scam people on YouTube on: May 18, 2021, 07:58:07 AM
I could not believe scammers are this so wise, they easily take advantage of Saturday Night Live (SLN) Musk appearance to scam people Doge worth of $5 million. It is very possible people that know little about scam can be scammed this way if care is not taken. I have been reading about Musk post recently which made me reluctant to create this thread but I think it will be very helpful for people not to believe anything on social media and any site like YouTube that scammers always use to steal from people.

Here's how the scam worked, according to the report
During the "SNL" telecast, viewers who searched for "Elon Musk SNL" on YouTube could see livestreams that seemed to be hosted by the NBC show but were actually run by scammers, the report said.

The livestreams publicized links to unique websites that viewers could visit to receive dogecoin.
A message on the broadcasts said: "Elon Musk has devoted 500,000,000 DOGE to be distributed to all DOGE holders. Anybody can get some, just visit the website." This was perhaps somewhat believable, as many of Musk's followers expected the billionaire's "SNL" appearance to pump the digital asset. Users were asked to transfer dogecoin to a blockchain address with the assurance that they would receive double the amount they sent.

Some people sent it and were scammed.

What gives the total freedom are noncustodial wallets. If you convert to unstable coin first thinking you will be able to avoid tax, you are just deceiving yourself, if you think it is working for you, it is clear that it is not working, you are only thinking it is working, anytime you are converting to stable coins or anytime you want to withdraw, are means you can pay the tax after you gained, the tax will be taken from a percentage gain not the amount you invested, if there is any loss, there will be no tax report until you are gaining. It will be better to comply to the law than to be avoiding to pay tax, it is wrong as it is a law in your country to pay crypto tax.

5151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Earn - Help me understand! on: May 17, 2021, 06:44:14 PM
You shouldn't be using a centralized exchange to store your money, especially not when you're staking because you're usually locking your funds for a certain period of time... which means that if you ever need that money, there is no way to get it until the waiting period is over and even if that was not a problem, there is always that possibility of the exchange getting hacked.
You can release your coin from binance earn at anytime but if it is not up to the period to get the profit, that means no profit will be given. There are different types of ways to stake, daily, weekly and bi-weekly, I have forgotten if monthly is among, but you can remove your coin after you stake it at any time on binance.

I too will not encourage anyone to use centralized exchange to stake, the exchange can be hacked, anything can happen because we do not completely have power over our own coins, that is why I will support that people should not leave coins on centralized exchanges.
5152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 17, 2021, 07:05:31 AM
We should not care about what this man is saying, the fear he created causing people to sell is far more than the Tesla Bitcoin holding. He is more after Doge, very possible the reason he want Tesla to move to a coin that uses less than 1% of bitcoin mining energy consumption. The man is only manipulating.
5153  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Fake alert during p2p trade on: May 16, 2021, 09:37:14 AM
If you read it from web page which can be accessed publicly, it'd be great if you can share the link.
It was through email, I have check it, no link was included, I will look if I can get a link to it, it is about ways scammers can scam people, I do not think it is about what happened in reality but about what can result to scam on p2p exchanges, but I am not sure, I only said this because i did not see any link that can prove it.
5154  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Fake alert during p2p trade on: May 16, 2021, 09:15:28 AM
How did the scammer get to know the phone number of the person, was it given away or did the scammer research on the bank account details. I have heard of such scams, but I think on binance app with all the requirements, in verification, a scam can/maybe traced and tracked down.
I only read about this, I do not know how it happened exactly, if sim swap can be possible, this one also is possible. I do not think it will be the fault of the exchange or may be the fault of the exchange too during data breach, I believe the scammers may have informants in those banks working together to scam people.

Who needs enemies with friends like this: https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1393738154889338884?s=21

It’s becoming stranger and stranger  Roll Eyes

Regardless, the increased Bitcoin fear in WO posts strengthens my feeling that this correction is nearing its end.
Elon Musk na bitcoin enemy, he only want to manipulate to make doge coin rise. He says Tesla will support coins that consume less than 1% of the energy bitcoin is using, he might say this because of doge because doge fit into the category.
5156  Economy / Exchanges / Fake alert during p2p trade on: May 16, 2021, 08:51:40 AM
I read not long ago how some people were scammed during p2p trade, this can happen when someone is trading directly with another person or when using decentralized p2p exchange, it can also happen when a trader use centralized exchange. What I have noticed is that the fault is from the trader that are scammed.

The last I read was about a trader that wanted to sell bitcoin, he did not know he is making a deal with a scammer, the trader created the trade, the scammer accepted it and message the seller that he has sent money, the seller received an alert from his bank and he released the bitcoin from escrow.

It was the next day when the seller knew he has been scammed when he wanted to withdraw money, no money received, he went to bank, the bank customer care told him it was a fake alert that there is nothing they can do to help that the name on the message only resembles the name of their bank and the text message resemble the style the bank use to send message to their customers, but not from them, but only amount received was on the text message, total balance was not included, that look suspicious.

There will be many people that would have been scam just like this, check your balance after receiving money from a seller, do not believe in text messages, it can be fake.

5158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What'sa good alternative for USDT? (Searching for good stablecoins) on: May 13, 2021, 10:59:29 PM
The common cryptocurrencies that are stable and pegged with United States dollars are:

  • USDT
  • USDC
  • BUSD
  • TUSD
  • DAI
  • and many others

It is true that DAI is more decentralized and better, there are cases I have read before that USDT and USDC were freezed even when the person that has the coin that was freezed used noncustodial wallet.
5159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Don't easily lend out money. on: May 13, 2021, 02:46:53 PM
If you happen to be an active trader or know people that trade actively, you will notice that traders do not easily give out money ( i.e lend out money) not because they don't have to give but because their capital is actively and most times always involved a trade.
I do not think all traders trade with all their money, there are different types of trading, I can still believe someone that hold or someone that prefer swing trading to use most of his money to trade, but what about day traders, this type of trade is very risky and traders can easily lose, successful day traders do not make use of 5 to 10 percent of their money, because of the risk.

Another point is that people are different, some people are cheerful giver while some people are stingy, stingy people can not borrow anyone money, some have the mentality that any borrowed money may not be paid back or thinking chances that the money will be paid back is slim, so they may decide not to borrow anyone money.
5160  Economy / Economics / Re: A Sudden Price Drop in The Crypto Markets on: May 13, 2021, 11:24:42 AM
You can blame Elon Musk for trolling the entire crypto community and the whole market for the sudden crash. He announced that Tesla will no longer accept Bitcoin payments because according to Musk, cryptocurrencies are hurting the environment. Moreover, environmentalists were claiming that Bitcoin mining was taking a large toll on electricity, which is solely based on fossil fuels, especially coal, and were against Tesla's option to receive Bitcoin payments.

What an irony, the large scale of battery production isn't that environmentally friendly either, but no one is commenting on that.
We should not even focus on environmentalists now, we should focus on Elon Musk, he only wanted to use the opportunity to manipulate the market. Let us take a look at the scenario, he knows if he make go against bitcoin, that other crypto price will crash, that is just the reason he did it, but using bitcoin electricity consumption as an excuse, he only want the bear market of 2021 to begin.
