5141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people debate so much about BTC value? on: January 17, 2020, 05:30:39 PM
Since ages, people keep debating - will BTC pump? Will it go to the moon? Will it drop?

I'm asking myself what's the purpose of these questions? BTC wasn't created to compete with the value of USD or other fiat currencies, but to replace them completely. Therefore, if people would just think prices for various stuff in BTC, instead of calculating them in the BTC value compared to USD, all these questions would be irrelevant.

Whatever your sentiment is, once someone treats bitcoin mostly as an investment, its fiat value will always be a big deal. Therefore they care for whatever scenario that can happen to bitcoin either pump, dump or something along those lines.

Remember that these "investors" used their cold cash to purchase BTC for investment purposes. Here, it is obvious that their goal is to have a decent profit in return even just by holding. That's why it called investment after all.

We will just see Bitcoin work as a pure currency, at least, in the next 20 to 30 years (just figures). Why? As long as there are lots of positive hopes about the bitcoin's good future, including the possibility of establishing a "moon price", people will mostly treat this supposed pure currency as an investment.

Bitcoin replacing USD or other fiat currencies someday will not happen***.

.. @harizen, yearly din tawag sayo? hahahah.. ok.

Yes boss. The last time is Jan-Feb 2019 yata and nag-rarant din ako dito nun sa thread kasi mayroon na ako ng 2017 and 2018. Kinwestyon ko rin sila bakit ganun pero they need to do it daw blah blah blah. November ako nakatanggap ng noticed pero di ko pinapansin then naging Php 25,000 limit ko the next month tapos to the point na naging ZERO na kaya no choice but to undergo. Although I can still send to external address.

Basta na-post ko lahat yan dito haha. Kaunti pa lang kausap ko dito nun that time haha.

It's been a year na pala. Wala pa ako natanggap for 2020. Sana wala na.
5143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 17, 2020, 03:46:29 PM
^ ^  It's up in the air at this point.  You could've posted that at the UFC thread since it's just news.  I mean what are we gambling at here?  That the bout could happen this year?  (It would make a nice little prop bet actually.  Lol)

There are even other threads here like the Pacquaio and Mayweather 2 which is not even at 0.0001% in progress but there is a discussion lol.

Nice idea you have there. Let's do some gambling here.

BTC0.005 - for me, this fight will not happen this year. Any takers? Anyone? There are talks according to McGregor itself so there's a chance for a match. And a long period for negotiations so this is a risk for me.

Deadline of accepting my bet until the end of the month. Until the start of the actual fight and we should here the first round bell, only we will determine who's the winner as there might be a problem even seconds before the match. Smiley Quote this post.
5144  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 17, 2020, 02:53:56 PM

Like obviously they knew mostly of their users are crypto users and so in trading, okay na yung once nakapag provide ka eh okay na.

5145  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed - Project on: January 17, 2020, 02:10:26 PM
Hello,
We're a marketing agency and recently we got scammed by someone with a very big amount over 100k USD / BTC and ETH paid.
I have read that there are groups or people who can recover payments in crypto for a certain fee.

Please recommend if you know someone.

Much appreciated.

Don't believe at any recommendations you will receive. No individual, groups or certain body can recover what you have paid in crypto. That might result in another scam.

If you really want to undergo serious actions, providing that you think you have those things that might help with the case, seek help from authorities, specifically the cybercrime group in your country. Provide them all the information. At least, that's the best thing to do instead of seeking a recovery service here.

Although, let's face it. You have a slim chance to recover the money even with a serious approach. Good luck tracking that cockroach.
5146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cielo exchange: is anyone withdraw funds from here? on: January 17, 2020, 01:48:56 PM
I registered on this exchange (https://cieloex.io/index) in may 2019, and then the minimum withdrawal amount was 0.5 ETH. It is now 4 ETH. I have not met other exchanges with such a large minimum for withdrawal.

I have a question: did anyone withdraw ETH or other cryptocurrency from here? How long does it take?

The minimum withdrawal is so high. Back when the minimum withdrawal for ETH is 0.05, BCH and BTC do have a minimum withdrawal of 0.5 and 0.025 respectively so maybe that was changed too.

Anyhow, the exchange seems to have low activity and I think almost dead so I think it does not matter anymore if your question will be unanswered. I can't find an active community too. And there are negative reviews too on their Playstore app. Those are enough reasons already to stay away.

Untrustworthy.
5147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: January 17, 2020, 12:40:03 PM
For people who does not have enough income to live a comfortable life, we try to find ways to end the struggle, we take big risk to gain big rewards so if we will be successful, we don't need to work anymore and just enjoy the rest of our life doing the things that we can't do due to lack of money.

This mindset won't make a person successful. If people want to have a comfortable life, come on work for it and don't rely purely on luck. Taking risks is fine but if it's not worth it, then stop. Yes, we have seen people became rich because of doing gambling by either hitting the jackpot or something along those lines but not all will have the same experience.

The worst-case scenario here is, once they hit a big jackpot on gambling, they will surely come back again hoping for another jackpot experience and we will know what will happen next.

Just imagined those rich people, they do have lots of money and several assets and investments but still working hard to ensure that once they retired and not capable to work, they will live a comfortable life.

Achieving financial goals in gambling is a big NO for me. If we win big by doing gambling, then it's a bonus.

Ok, just a question first, are you done purchasing your bitcoin and you want to trade now?

Some of this stuff is more complicated than just Googling it, you idiot.

Watch your manners. You have lots of questions and there are people who help you so be nice to others.
5149  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Google Play Balance to BTC/Paypal/Anything? on: January 16, 2020, 11:12:28 PM

Google PLAY right? Not Google PAY?

If I'm not mistaken (but I'm sure of this), Google Play balance can't be withdrawn into cold cash. It's mostly used for purchasing in-app items listed on Playstore. Selling the account will not work too because why people should buy an account with just a $50 balance if they can just easily top-up their own account with that amount. The same goes if you consider finding an online game wherein you will purchase some valuable items there and trade it to other players, since again, they can just top up their account with $50.

I suggest just used that $50 someday once you found a useful app that you want to try and want to purchase some in-app items. Since it's just $50 (no offense for those who consider $50 as decent amount), too much hassle and effort finding a way to cashout that amount into cash. You can earn it somewhere instead.

But wait for other replies. Who knows there is someone who might know a convenient way (I really doubt).
5150  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Si Craig Wright nga ba si Satoshi Nakamoto? on: January 16, 2020, 10:51:01 PM

In the first place, bakit kasi dapat mo pa pahirapan sarili mo kakaisip. Do your part na lang and focus to accumulate BTC kaysa mag-isip ka pa masyado dyan. Smiley
5151  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the real reasons of recent BTC rally? on: January 16, 2020, 10:15:49 PM
Bitcoin is up about 22% in the first 15 days of 2020, notching its best start-of-year surge since 2012, The Wall Street Journal first reported. We expect institutional interest to drive prices higher throughout the year. Altcoins have also soared!

But I want to hear from the senior members what can be the reasons for increasing the Bitcoin price? How the market sentiment is working now? Will it increase more?

Newbie or senior members, big or small names, all will head to their own speculation and thoughts.

To somehow feed your mind, go to your favorite search engine and type the keyword "bitcoin price pump".

From there, read recent news, speculations, and analyzations from various sources. After spending time lurking at those sites and articles, I do believe you will now have some insights about what could be the possible reasons for this increase.

And to your last question, it is actually shouldn't be a question*.
5152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 16, 2020, 09:46:26 PM
Who can stop Giannis?
He is keep rolling with amazing plays and performances something that I didn't expect happening when the season started.

That was the same impression of him last year. Also, the reason why he got the Season MVP title. But ended up eliminated in Eastern Conference Finals even they are up by 2 wins on their first 2 games. His dominance was able to stop even how monster he is prior to ECF and I think the majority was surprised.

We might have seen an unstoppable Giannis today, as usual, but I want to see him maintain that dominance up to the finals.

Now, who can stop Giannis? Let's see on playoffs.
5153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Get Its First Price? on: January 16, 2020, 09:22:15 PM
Today, the price of bitcoin is going up and down.

Is this new?

Many are saying that the price of Bitcoin cannot reach $ 20,000 now.

People have different views about bitcoin's future. Anyone can say their own opinion, speculations, predictions, etc. about the possibility of bitcoin reaching again the $20,000 floor.

It's now up to us if you will buy those claims or not.

The only way Bitcoin can be priced in its true state is if the countries where Bitcoin is closed are removed. Did I say right?

Bitcoin can move forward even there are countries banning it. If I'm not mistaken, the list of countries before who already ban bitcoin way a long time now doesn't change at all with no additional country implementing a ban. Don't mind those countries who banned it but look at some big countries recognizing bitcoin as legal.
5154  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 16, 2020, 08:20:14 PM

Once is enough.

Yep agree lalo na doon sa around average pa rin ang galawan ng funds year by year and di alarming.

Pero dun sa biglang big time ang transaction coming from a small average, it's a different story so dapat iyong mga users lang na ito iyong may biglaang additional verification.

..why don't they just get starting from 3 AM so meron 2 to 3 hours..

5155  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PH Lending History/Summary (as of Jan. 15, 2020) on: January 15, 2020, 11:59:15 PM

@Bttzed03

I will now consider babysweetTiger0401's loan as default para malinis na iyong list sa first page tutal ban na rin naman iyong user na yan.

No response till now and seen zone lang gaya ni lightpulsar07 lol. Nakamasid lang dito alt nyan for sure since nabanggit niya rin sa akin yan nung nacontact ko sya na nasa forum pa rin sya. Ingat sa mga lenders at may chance na umulit ang mga yan in other accounts.
5156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 15, 2020, 11:26:27 PM
Though they are rank at number 14 in the west -https://www.nba.com/standings, but they are still close to the number 8, still positive to be in the top 8 spot, and so it could be possible for the Warriors once Curry and Thompson come back.

I'm now closing the possibilities for New Orleans Pelicans to make a playoff appearance even Zion will make a comeback. They need to have a decent win-loss record from now on but teams on 8-13th spots are surely making their way up too. They are 4 wins behind the 8th spot and 8 wins behind the 7th. Looking at those teams from 8th to 13th, these are really tough.

And for Warriors? 100% no playoff appearance for them even Curry and Thompson will comeback. We are near half-way in the season.

And here I am again, who wants to bet at me if Pelicans will make it to the playoffs for BTC0.005 to BTC0.01? Since currently, they are 4 wins behind the 8th and Zion will make a comeback, might others think that there is a chance for them to acquired a playoff ticket. Quote this post.
5157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When trading, never ignore the statoshi value of your coins on: January 15, 2020, 09:46:14 PM
Few days ago I decided to utilize some fraction of bitcoin just sitting in my trading wallet to try profiting from the market. Although I may profit when the profits was calculated in dollars but unknowingly I lost massively in Satoshi value. That means assuming I just kept hold of my coins I would had made almost the same value I made with the coins i bought. Many traders haven't realized this yet but just get carried away with the US value of their trades without realizing they lost some satosh in the process.  When training, what are you mostly concerned about, to gain more profit in bitcoin or gain more in usd dollar without minding if you lost some Satoshi value?.

Looks like you learn something while you are on progress. Good thing you have realized that.

However, different traders have different goals and purposes. Different strategies also apply.

There are advantages why traders sometimes opt to sell when they see gains in USD value, they are playing with the price. Maybe out of their analysis, it seems a good move. Proper execution is the key to gain profits in the market. You can also try other trading pairs.
5158  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 15, 2020, 08:02:29 PM

Via web ako nag-lologin tapos doon ako magrerequest ng statement and isesend nila sa email as protected (with password).

Saang "labas" mo ba bro gagamitin?

Just received an email from Coins.ph. Magkakaron daw sila ng System Maintenance on January 25, 2020 (4:30AM to 5:00AM PH TIME - 30 minutes only.)

Di naman sila makakaperwisyo on that day since ngayon pa lang nag-announce na sila.

5160  Other / Archival / Re: Ever played at any of these casinos? on: January 15, 2020, 06:58:03 PM
you can pick between crypto-games, stake.com, playbetr, Cloudbet, nitrogensports, sportsbet or one hash. all of them have casino games. again, the site I mentioned is based on my personal preferences. but I am sure that someone would agree that one of these sites deserves to be picked.

From those sites you have mentioned, they already did a review for CryptoGames, Stake, Cloudbet, and OneHash but I don't know why none of them end up on top 10. Maybe in the previous year/s?

Let us know what the 10th casino should be in this list and we will look into adding the best one!

Since the list is based on your personal preferences, as you guys claimed that you test each of those sites, I don't know how the community can help here even they will share their personal experience to a certain site. Honestly, I'm not aware to 5 sites on the list and they really beat those other "popular" sites so your own criteria will still be the basis at the end.
