I honestly believe the next interesting thing to watch in Crypto is Gulden vs Litecoin over the next couple of years. Bitcoin will be number 1 for at least 5-10 years longer. My bet is by the 1st Jan 2019 Gulden will be ahead of litecoin in marketcap.

Bitcoin has not only help in my daily life but also in a great way to actually influence my financial status. It has also help to broaden my horizon about knowledge about people across borders. It has also help me in understanding the crypto world in another dimension which I am still learning. Bitcoin community in the area of financial status has been able to generate for me a source of extra income in a stress free environment which I am grateful for.
It's of course fantastic to have signature campaigns and certain other ways of earning free coins, but the main point is that you shouldn't see it as part of your income as you would then more and more depend on it. If you have a day job, then that's great, but if you don't, and earning some bits is a big chunk of your income right now, then I would start investing in yourself as in learning to code, or to design for example (can be anything). Investing in yourself is the best possible investment you can make for the long term. better to think for more ways to improve yourself and learn how to make more extra money using your skills me i'm into forex trading trying to learn deeper and at least make some extra more i'm hoping that with this i can enjoy staying at home with my wife and my kids without thinking of where to get our financial needs. |

I think that to make money with trades is required a lot of study, none newbie can do this, maybe you can have lucky on the first month or more but if you don't know exactly what are you doing, you will lose all your money. Nothing comes easy, knowledge is everything.
Yes you right knowledge is everything. I have an oppinion, I think trading cryptocurrency and trading forex is different. In forex there are technical term called margin call, pip and etc. But in cryptocurrency trading we only have two technical term called buy and sell. Peiple can make money in forex, I am agree with your statement that need study to do trading forex, if someone do this without knowledge it's just the same with gambling. Trading forex and altcoins is different but there are a lot of similarities at the end it does not matter what you are trading since we, the people are the ones doing the trades, so the same patterns that appear in forex, bonds commodities should appear in the altcoin markets. that's also how i see it after i did some research on how the market works with forex its just same pattern of buying your trade and selling it as well the only thing is you have a lots of advantage since there's many things to consider to know how the market will move inside forex unlike alts its just the news and the whales that playing with the price. |

Of course yes. But for that to happen there must something to happen in bitcoin that will cause many people to sell their bitcoim, then it will probably drop. Or a whale must sell his bitcoin to dump its price until 100$. But that is difficult to happen. No one would sell his bitcoin in a lower price than he bought it. It's still not late to buy bitcoin now. It will rise even more in the future.
I don't think there is any whale big enough to crash the price to $100 There is simply not enough coins in existence and too many people would buy them on the way down for the price to get to $100 Personally, I doubt btc will go under 600 again but if it went that low I know people who would buy it up immediately to the time of a few million dollars so I think it's safe to forget about $100 bitcoins.... yeah right even a millionaires can't damage the price its only a matter of government regulation that might heart the price if they implement rules and more campaign to make the coin centralized since they cant avoid the adoption i guess its will hurt it but not to go down to 100$ anymore,. |

Yeah they are both addictive, but they are more different, but in terms of money I guess it is just the same that they are spending money because of their addiction which is not good. You can earn if you win a lot and cashout early.. Bitcoin is the only currency the price of which is rising and the currency seems promising and going to be the only future currency and it's a sort of investment and that's why I use it. Also it has low transaction fee compared to payment processors like paypal. Also bitcoin, though in small amounts or fraction of it called satoshi, is easy to earn too.
When you think of Investing it is bad to buy a "Rising" price of anything as it translates the the demand of it is also rising, the chance you got when it was 500-600 $ mark is already over. Any other accumulation of Bitcoin by Buying is a bad idea as your margin of safety is already over. Also if you buy the current price the possibility of it going back to 500$ also has a high chance. well that's really hard to say mate as bitcoin really getting good attention to the market and more and more adoption is on going for sure the more investors to go inside the value will make more rise, the best thing is buying bitcoin for investment and grow it more using alt tradings. |

I have saved around the 6 bitcoins right now and I'm pretty happy and proud of it to be honest, its a real accomplishment for me.
Wish i had an amount near that, I even could not get to my very first target of bitcoin which is having one complete bitcoin in my wallet, because i have been continuously spending my bitcoins on my real life by converting them into fiat as i needed money, so every time i start from over which as a result is not letting me reach my target soon. You can achieve that amount, you just have to work for it and have a great plan to follow. Convert your wish into action.. its a matter of dedication and good planning mate i also went from that stage but now i can say i did successfully got at least 2 btc got lucky investing with an ico coins that really went to success and still succeeding, dedication and be more active here inside the forum mate for sure you will able to achieved it,. |

Unless you have some business, or work for some blockchain technology business, crypto is not the best place for a steady income.
You could probably find some ways to make profits in crypto, like trading, many even manage to earn a living from it. However, the level of instability is higher than in a regular job.
