5161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethurum price on: December 08, 2017, 12:08:03 PM
Will ethurum price reach 1500$ in 2018 end?

I think there is a very good chance of that, yes. Have a look at the roadmap and see how it is developing. The future looks good for ETH.
5162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin or Monero on: December 08, 2017, 11:14:08 AM
I would definitely go with Monero out of those two.

I don't have either of those coins, so I am impartial - but you have no way of knowing that is true! So definitely make your own decision. The comment about going to jail just for owning Monero sounds quite bizarre, and I wouldn't believe that at all.
5163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some countries are prohibit BTC... on: December 08, 2017, 09:18:03 AM
speciall some arabic countries are stop to market with crypto currency that people thinking BTC are damaging there bank system...you can give your opinion with me...i would like to know lot of senior members what there thinking about this

Governments ban partly because they are scared and see crypto as a genuine threat, and partly because as the market grows they need to put regulation in place. So some bans are temporary until the legislation is ready.

But all the FUD from banks is pure fear.

5164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's bubble is going to burst on: December 08, 2017, 09:08:16 AM
What's missing from the graphs? The grand correction is coming soon.

I think we are all expecting a big correction at some point. And there have been plenty before, so it won't be unprecedented. The question is how far will it rise first, and for how long will it rise. $20k ? $50k ?

Bitcoin will fall hard at some point, but it will not disappear. It always rises again.
5165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop on: December 07, 2017, 03:36:24 PM
Too many of beginners or some person are curious about air drop. For all questions, also me, i am curious on what is Air drop and how it help to ourself.

(I only do work from ICO's and i dont have any much time yet to spread the knowledge about crypto so i didnt know it yet thats why i just asking to help them and also to help me too.)

Airdrops are giveaways. There are two types - those where coins are given to anyone who signs up and fulfills basic criteria (e.g. liking their Twitter page), and then there are those where a coin is airdropped to holders of another coin, e.g. the small OMG airdrop to ETH holders.

The vast majority of the first type of airdrop are almost worthless, although there are occasionally some decent ones. Also you need to beware of scams, e.g. those that ask for your private key!
5166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin!!! on: December 07, 2017, 01:45:05 PM
What happens in the crypto-currency market? Everything falls, and bitcoin just flies to Mars! What in this case do, wait?

Waiting is the safest option.

The riskier and more profitable option is sell alts and buy bitcoin as soon as bitcoin rises. Then when the bitcoin rise loses momentum, buy alts back. But this is easier said than done.

Here you are right, that is easier said than done. I did not get a hand to buy bitcoin for 10 000. Since I considered this price too high. Now I see 15 000. And I understand that I was wrong, and I needed to buy 10 000 $. I also can not buy 15 000, because this is generally the moon. But it may turn out that bitcoin will grow to 20,000. And 15,000 could be bought. I already do not understand anything with this bitcoin growth.

There are good reasons for the bitcoin growth: a big increase in mainstream media reports bringing in new investors, news of forthcoming futures markets, plus news on lightning network developments. The outcome is that bitcoin goes up. The question no-one know the answer to is how far will it go up before it corrects? The later you leave it the greater the risk. So I would say don't make a panicked decision now as these are the worst decisions. It is fine to leave your money in alts if that is where it is now. There will be plenty more occasions when BTC rises or falls relative to alts, so get in early and do your trading then.

5169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price drop hard, Why ? on: December 07, 2017, 01:00:43 PM
in Few days ethereum price is drop hardly in Bitcoin value, why ?
anyone know the causes ?

Thank you

Other than the Crypto Kitties thing... it isn't ETH going down, it's BTC going up! Most other alts are down vs BTC. And BTC is rising because of a variety of reasons, partly a slew of mainstream media reports about this year's price rise, partly the news about opening of futures markets, partly the news on developments for lightning network.
5170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: December 06, 2017, 03:33:59 PM
I'm planning to buy some ETH, will it hit $1000 in 2018?

Need your suggestions

Impossible to say, really. At the moment the price is being pulled down at least partly by Crypto Kitties slowing the chain. I suppose we have to see how scaling progresses, and any other developments. I still think Ethereum is a great long-termer, but shorter-term - a month and a half now until the end of Jan 2018 - is more subject to volatility.
5171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA Fact or Fraud? on: December 06, 2017, 02:25:35 PM
It seems genuine, but with any crazy price increase there is usually a sharp correction... momentum seems to have slowed now, but there's not been a massive drop yet.
5172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you know its time to sell your altcoins? on: December 06, 2017, 11:40:41 AM
Just wondering if ya'll have a typical formula you go by or a certain X percentage profit or loss.

I've been playing around with coins for just under a month now. $23750 total investment and currently up just under 10k in profit. One of the coins (IOTA) has gone up about 288%.  Obviously it would suck if it crashed but it would equally suck to sell if it continues to grow.

Just wondering what a lot of you folks do. I'm considering investing another 25 or 50k into coins. Ideally I'd like to net 15k a month off them but I know that may not be realistic on a monthly basis.

I think it's very difficult to predict, and every situation is different. One good option is to set your exit point as soon as you go in, and then stick to it. But the whole thing is difficult. IOTA has been skyrocketing for quite a while now, but I haven't bought in - I keep thinking it will correct. One problem is that there is a lot of panic buying and panic selling that causes these huge price fluctuations. If you knew that a correction would be gradual, it would be easy to sell just after the peak... but corrections are often cliff-edge plummeting.
5173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The boring airdrop projects on: December 06, 2017, 11:23:41 AM
There was a time when ERC20 airdrops had these amazing websites, ANN threads and elaborate white papers. Of course they didn't intend to do any of those things - but it was still strangely fun to see the work they put into making these projects seem legitimate. They knew how to create hype and get people interested.

And yet this month there's been an abundance of ERC20 airdrop projects that have:

1.) A boring ANN thread - just a wall of text, no pictures, nothing interesting
2.) No website
3.) No white papers
4.) Thread started by a 1-post wonder.

To the fake devs of these projects, if you're reading this: Please put more work into creating your fake projects so that it's at least interesting to read.
Thanks.

It is probably because they don't need to do as much now to hook people. Airdrop fever has taken over from ICO fever. All that people need to do now is say 'airdrop! sign up here!' and they will have thousands of applicants... some of them are even openly scams and ask for private keys!
5174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NAGA's ICO - Any opinion on: December 05, 2017, 09:31:16 AM
I am not asking fo referal links  Shocked specially not yours, once if I am registered I already have one.

I am just wondering if it is something to keep or to try to sell ASAP once the ICO is finished.

No need to be rude. I meant the referral link in the post below yours. I don't have my own referral link because I am not registered - but if I did have one, I wouldn't post it here.
5175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: December 04, 2017, 12:55:44 PM
Will Altcoins survive as bitcoin is going higher and higher and the demand is getting increasing every day, what will happens to altcoins

Good alts will survive and prosper, bad alts will fail - the same as it has always been.
I think a big part of the bitcoin price jump is mainstream news reports of bitcoin's price rise this year, and about it being the top-performing asset class. The effect of this is more people from outside the crypto world buying in to bitcoin. They will gradually diversify, but bitcoin has always been the gateway.
5176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NAGA's ICO - Any opinion on: December 04, 2017, 12:37:49 PM
I don't know a lot about NAGA, but I've seen it has had some high scores in reviews. Also be careful about putting referral links on here, I don't think it is allowed.
5177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is ethereum so slow? on: December 04, 2017, 12:25:45 PM
I would say increase your gas price to see higher speeds. But bear in mind this this is all still quite immature technology. We are still in the early days, and scaling solutions are planned.
5178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero is understimate on: December 01, 2017, 03:20:50 PM
Monero is one of oldies coin in the top 10 and is ever solid investment. In this rollercoaster bitcoin day look like XMR is slighty understimate in front of the other currency,  I think we'll see in the next day a good growth trend for XMR before the bitcoin restart to growth... You think is resonable valutation?

I think XMR is a great coin with excellent long-term potential. However I can't speculate on very short-term as this is just wildly unpredictable, particularly at the moment. The whole market is rising and falling almost as one.
5179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to invest in cryptocurrencies? on: December 01, 2017, 11:15:58 AM
I am considering taking a loan to buy btc and eth, is it a good idea? Because btc and eth always go up in long term. They never die. There seems to be a great chance of getting huge profit instead of losing money. A few years ago somebody in this forum asked others the same question and everyone told him not to do that, look at the price now. If that guy did, he would have been rich now. Nowadays the situation is not different, the price will continue to go up. I think people who invest more will earn more profit eventually. What do you think?

That is very risky. Bear in mind that you will have to pay the loan back, with probably high % interest even if BTC and ETH fall.
I can understand why people do this, but obviously this is really increasing the risk. Whether or not that is okay is up to individual circumstances, there is no one correct answer.
5180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now I think its time for alts to shine. on: December 01, 2017, 10:51:27 AM
Btc has run too far too quickly possibly due to manipulation by hedge funds. But it wont crash too hard I think. By guess is undervalued alts will rally hard now. Just a guess

I'm not so sure. Everyone is a bit wary now due to the massive whole market correction. I think we'll see relative stability for a while, with maybe small rises. I would welcome an alt rise, but just not sure we'll see it yet.
