5161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: March 31, 2020, 11:56:12 AM
To the times like we have now, it sounds like it will give more prioritization to our health and protection from the virus.
(.....)
Probably you can gamble online but don't spend your money too much on it. Remember that we don't know when lockdown end and the pandemic virus will get rid of.
But it's really scary if they will continue to become reckless on their lives like they know that they are suffering due to this coronavirus outbreak and some people started to lose some jobs and difficult to find the money for the family. We should become responsible even we are gamblers.
But on these times, since most of the people are staying home, more gamblers for sure are out there playing online.
5162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Memory lane (best match you gambled on) on: March 31, 2020, 11:34:27 AM
For me, in eSports Dota 2 Championship in The International 2019.
That was really incredible, for the whole tournament, I just keep watching and analyzing every team and me just able to calm my hands to not gamble until the championship. And I made it, I was able to gamble in the championship, my whole balance in my one time deposit I gamble on who will be the champion, and I made it, really well-prepared and unforgettable.
5163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful using QR code to send Bitcoin on: March 31, 2020, 11:25:14 AM
That's sad, one of the best to send of Bitcoin especially in some physical stores that accept Bitcoins is through QR codes.
My piece of advice is also to double-check the bitcoin address generated by the QR address. That's my habit, even crypto/non-crypto, I always double-check the result of QR codes, like the bitcoin address generated, like some first few digits or some last digits of the address for confirmation before sending your Bitcoin.
5164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Portfolio Stop Loss on: March 31, 2020, 11:22:00 AM
I treat stop loss is one of the best weapons in trading, cryptocurrency or non-cryptocurrency. Using it on a portfolio is also important, not only on day trading.
As I started trading and for sure there are some traders there who started without stop-losses on their trades, its so me. I am late to discover that stop loss for every trades is extremely important. If you really value your money, stop-loss is your friend.
That's why I also created and shared it here before one of my thread about stop-loss: http://One of the Best Weapons in Trading
5165  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: SOS.BInance going to adquire coinmarketcap - END of decentralization and crypto on: March 31, 2020, 10:10:45 AM
For sure, Binance will benefit more from the advertisement on the coinmarketcap after acquiring this. No decentralization of cryptocurrency will get affected this. It's still your choice to use coinmarketcap, beside that we still have a lot of alternatives to Coinmarketcap, just also like Coinpaprika(https://coinpaprika.com/) or Coingecko as what @btc_angela said.
For sure, after this, we can see some new alternatives of Coinmarketcap will grow.
5166  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think? on: March 30, 2020, 05:24:34 AM
At first I did not believe that there is a correlation between the market price of cryptos and the virus itself because the moment it caught the attention of the 'masses' there's nothing much of a movement in the market value of cryptos. But things have changed when the virus was classified as 'Pandemic' by World Health Organization,in March 11, as reported in CBC News. Consequently, the market price of cryptos fell in March 12

This chart is really true, we saw bear movements here. After the $10,000 was rejected and fall it below $8,000, I have become a bear on that level and this recent case of coronavirus (covid19), Bitcoin really did a bloody move falling below $4,000 in just span of 24 hours which is also good to recover and bounced back now on $6,000 levels.
For me, as we don't break the trendline above, Bitcoin will continue to suffer these coming days.
5167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the safest crypto online games to start if you are a Newbie? on: March 30, 2020, 05:16:31 AM
Dice game is the most basic and simplest gambling game here online, your chance is almost 50/50 and skill required at all. Personally, I played Dice game at primedice and that's my first time gambling online, ad I enjoy it! until now I am still gambling dice but no so much anymore,  prefer live casino these days like live casino hold'em. (....)
I think most of the gamblers online already tried to play dice games. But for me, I really don't feel comfortable playing dice games, maybe it's just because I always lost? Well, I find it also boring sometimes yet need more time to play unless you use some bot or auto bet on some websites. Personally, what I experienced playing dice games is my patience, and I can't control sometimes my self to still continue to play even already won or lost.
5168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the safest crypto online games to start if you are a Newbie? on: March 30, 2020, 12:16:22 AM
A piece advice for you as seeking a new crypto online games: Only play the game you know/willing to learn and feel you happy and interested, because if not you will end up rekt.
I experienced this before when I just trying every games and always losing. Card games and dice games are newbie friendly and games that are good to start to play with.
5169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to new projects? on: March 30, 2020, 12:09:36 AM
This is much better then. Compare it before bull run 2017-2018 where new projects are almost scam also a lot of people got scammed. Most people learned and now look at the results, only quality and legit projects are kicking and working.
Speaking in bounty campaigns, we also noticed that in last 2017-2018 bull run, easy money if you sold after you got the rewards, but if you hodl them until now, look at the prices.
5170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: March 29, 2020, 09:41:20 AM
I think that the Corona virus will definitely affect trading because people who have lost their jobs or are running low on cash will most likely need to withdraw their crypto to pay bills, which will naturally result in less crypto being traded.
But on the other side also, some people who also lost their jobs and have some savings, they can start to trade while they are staying in their homes. But still, for me, it's not advisable, putting your savings on risk, since we all know trading is risky.
But totally, coronavirus(Covid19) is really affected the trading, positive or negative. Like what we saw on recent dump from around $7,500 to around $3800, a lot of people got liquidated.
5171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Historical Bitcoin price on: March 28, 2020, 12:28:19 AM
I think you need some technical skills in coding here? Especially if you will interact on some API endpoints to get some historical data.
Like if you will plan to get easier to maintain and more accurate data, you gonna probably do some coding here?
Unless you will hire some coders to process your data from other websites/services.
5172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which currency will popular in next bullrun? on: March 28, 2020, 12:19:42 AM
Speaking of altcoins, I'll go for Ethereum. Why? Because of the Ethereum 2.0 or will become proof of stake and especially the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) under with Ethereum. It was already proven few months ago, which the rally of Ethereum is incredible. So, for me, I will expect that again once we will start to rally upwards, and I am still accumulating more Ethereum on these levels.
5173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there hope for Tezos in 2020? on: March 28, 2020, 12:16:01 AM

If we will be based on technical analysis and see it on chart. Tezoz is quite good for now, sitting in horizontal support of year 2019.
But in this area, we are also tight position, because it could probably dump down to the support and probably dump all the way.
But for me, it's still far since bitcoin dominance these days it's not that kind of volatile.
5174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 28, 2020, 12:02:56 AM
MVP and management should start doing the SMB strategy to attract players. $$$. They are the 2nd most big company that owned a team in PBA.
(...)
When it comes to salary, I guess SMB does not give much to their players, players are only attracted because they will be getting big bonuses when they win the championship, and that's big bonuses, so its kinda performance bonus.
I think most of the team also has this kind of bonus/performance bonus? Like winning some tournament or championship. But you are kinda right, SMB could have a bigger bonus compare to other teams.
San Miguel Beermen is an extremely huge team, not only the team but also a corporation in the Philippines. I think their funds or salary for their every player is not so big for them besides they will get a huge advertisement from them.
5175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brought Bitcoin in 2017 and sold in 2018 on: March 27, 2020, 11:56:31 PM
(....)
But till now I could not sell them due to that they are in very low position. If ince again I have chance to sell them in price rice in 2020 I may be very happy. But no hope it is according to my fate.
This is an extreme worst-case that also happened to me. By having altcoins by those days, I also experienced this, holding altcoins which almost 50% lost on those days, what I did was I converted all of them to Bitcoin and no regrets, I accepted all my lost before but I am still positive since I converted those in Bitcoin and hoping that Bitcoin will able to cover those losses.
5176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: March 27, 2020, 11:50:53 PM
They will always find ways. Gamblers always be a gambler. For example here in our country, the cockfighting area already temporarily suspended by the government but people still find ways to organize illegal or secret cockfighting. And the worst here, they can broadcast it live so some online cockfighting can also benefit it and cater to some online gamblers on their website.
5177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: March 26, 2020, 12:52:27 AM
I can share the current situation here in our country.
One of the famous gambling scenes here is cockfighting. But because of this recent coronavirus outbreak.
The government has a temporary shutdown for all cockfighting.
But still, there are some people even government employees organized a illegal cockfighting which is the only secret for some people what to gamble.
This is really the cause of being a gambling addict, they always find a ways to gamble even they have to obey the law.

Most of the cockfighting enthusiast i could say are gambling addicts and with the recent lockdown, they suddenly and abruptly felt the effect of not being to gamble and see those cocks fighting and some of them just could not cope with that, they will always find ways to held those activities illegally which for me is very risky. Those government officials spearheading those illegal acts should be hang in the town plaza  Smiley, they are putting the health of their constituents in a great risk as we are on the midst of a battle which we can't see our opponents.

This is the right time for gambling addicts to relax and feel the effect of not gambling for weeks and if the effect is positive then moving away from gambling should be contemplated.
They are really dumb, one of the positive victims of coronavirus (covid19) was a cockfighting gambler from Davao City I think and he went to a cockfighting stadium in Davao City before he was tested for positive in coronavirus (covid19), and I think he was dead now. And the government of said city already contacting all gamblers went to the stadium. It's extremely dangerous, I am thinking also that gambling can kill you Cheesy, even you will go home with lot of winnings but you are not aware of your health and you may also put the lives of your family at risk.
5178  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 - The major reason for the current fall of Bitcoin on: March 26, 2020, 12:47:20 AM
The major reason for this fall is fear. When fear enters the market,  it  creates panic and  people then to liquidate their money to a fiat funds that they can easily acess for their survival,  resulting to dumping and hence,  a fall in price.
I think most of the people who panic last time were affected by major markets in the world, just like stocks. As we experienced, most of the markets dumped, not only in cryptocurrency or Bitcoin but also in major stocks in the world.
So, after the recent dump on Bitcoin, which almost 50% within just 24 hours. Here we are now, from around $3,800+ dump, we already almost doubled the price now which is currently we are on $6,700+ level. This is extremely good for Bitcoin.
