5162  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you visit the casino while travelling? on: October 14, 2022, 03:20:14 PM
Offline casinos started gambling, and they are still active but more of the online casinos are being patronised because of their easy access from the comfort of your home or whatever you are. More online casinos are being formed often, but there is much more fun with offline casinos than it when considering some side entertainments.

So, it is a good thing to plan this with travelling or vacations as they have side benefits attached to them. Before reading your post, I had planned that I will surely visit Las Vegas in the US solely because of this.
5163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google partners with Coinbase to accept crypto payments for cloud service on: October 14, 2022, 02:42:15 PM
Good news!

But to play the devil's advocate, they "accept" Bitcoin "payments" through a centralized third party? Technically they're not truly accepting payments through Bitcoin. They're merely accepting payments through Coinbase, like they accept payments through PayPal.
I don't get really excited when I read a thing like this anymore, though I still appreciate the fact that Bitcoin is gaining more adoptions over the years. But the condition they will subject you to is not really fair. This is a third-party arrangement, and I quite understand Google trying to avoid some risks of fluctuations in the price of Crypto.

Yet, it is always the users/customers that will be at a loss as the price they will be giving will be manipulated as they always do, thereby forcing us to pay more. I got angry due to this kind of arrangement in August due to Coinbase partnering with a company I had a deal with.
5164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Split the prize or Reroll? on: October 14, 2022, 09:16:21 AM
Dice rolling and gambling as a whole should not be played with full assurance and greed because there is no certain means of playing them that could guarantee the winning. This will ever make me reply the same irrespective of the gambling we are talking about. Specifically, when a winning of 0.05BTC is guaranteed, it is better to take the deal, this is reasonable and responsibly in gambling. It is not a must to take the whole winning (0.1BTC), which could make you lose everything. One has to avoid greed and keep good gambling psychology irrespective of the temptation.
5165  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 2022 low again? on: October 14, 2022, 07:38:51 AM
The biggest obstacle for Bitcoin's progress is now inflation. And the Ukraine Russia war is responsible for this inflation.
Yes, inflation is a big factor that is affecting the risk-appetite Bitcoin and will continue to do so. But I don't agree with you that the Russia-Ukraine war is the sole cause of it. Bitcoin has been falling due to inflation before the war, it only aggravates it.

it will always happen, my friend, because right now the whole world is in an economic crisis because of very high inflation, which causes purchasing power to continue to fall and decrease. many countries could not avoid the attack of this crisis and even the World Bank estimates that next year is the peak of the crisis will occur.
so I agree to always continue to be careful the possibility that bitcoin might go down again even though it won't drop drastically below $10K.
there will always be a tradeoff from falling prices that there is an opportunity to save more but it must be remembered that the bull market season will certainly be long.
As much as I love to support the selling of BTC because of inflation and the economic woes around the world, things are now changing as BTC is not ready to break some lows anymore. I was a core supporter of the crypto hitting the 2022 low at 17625.00 again, but the situation that unfolded in September made me change my stance. I am now neutral on it hitting the level until further notice.

Bitcoin closed September with a low of $19.573.43 and $20,109.85 being the high. October 1, we opened the price is also not much different, namely $19,431.10 and until now Bitcoin is still at a price of $19,078.50.

But take it easy seeing market conditions because we admit that there are some obstacles that may be being faced that make Bitcoin's movement slow down a bit than we expected. Just manage finances to add to our future investment portfolio. That's probably one of the best ways
October won't be much different from the previous month I think it's still the same thing with prices below $19k because it's not too much to expect an increase even though some say with UPTOBER it's still far from possible to see bitcoin go up again, trust me bitcoin still in a prolonged bearish period with no time limit.
I wouldn't worry about falling market conditions, for example, I'm more convinced of the opportunity to increase my portfolio in these easier times because I'm not looking for trouble just thinking about where the price is going, so it's more important to increase the addition of Bitcoin regularly now.
You are right, just like what I just replied in a comment, BTC can't do much this year again unless there is an event that really shakes the crypto space. But such an event will hardly happen, it's inflation that is affecting it and it is nearly priced completely for the year.
5166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need help on Option Trading on: October 14, 2022, 07:23:49 AM
Before trying with Future Trading You need to know about margin fund, leverage, PNL loss and Profit and most important you have understand about LIQUIDITY.
Didn't knew future trading is that hard where you need to learn all those items that you mentioned first before you can proceed with the actual future trade and I believe all of them are also hard judging only with their names. No wonder why you can understand future trading right after it but I think the op is more concerned of options trading not future trading but idk if both of them are similar or not.

A lot of people here say that futures trading is very risky that it can be already linked to gambling but in fact this was already on some gambling sites. They just put it there because they also think that it would perfectly fit there than in trading platforms.
Futures trading is just like traditional forex/financial market trading, they are leveraged products, so they are risky. But, that doesn't mean that they are not profit-massing, once you can learn, get a good system, psychology and management, then your problem is half-solved.

Just like traditional trading, futures trading has been a very good innovation in the crypto space, yet I still feel incomplete without trading Bitcoin with Option. I was happy to see the Option trading feature with Binance, which is my only exchange, but they offer a different kind of Option trading from the traditional one I know. Their style of offering is designed to make one lose as your winning is not guaranteed even if the difference between the striking price and the price at expiration is in your favour.

Debatable. Futures, and other derivatives, trading has also contributed to more volatility in Bitcoin, and other markets in crypto.

Quote

Take, for example, I bought the (Call) option on BTC at 18634.35 on Friday for an expiration of 1 hour. Could you believe that the price of the market was at 18855.87 at the expiry time, but Binance still concluded that I lost the bet? This is not a mistake because such a situation has happened to me more than 5 times with the same exchange.

I don't know how Binance calculates their options trading and I don't care again. Is there any exchange you can suggest to me that gives winning like the traditional Option trading where the slightest point counts?

Let's make it clear, you bought a call option on Bitcoin, with an expiry of one hour, and with a strike price of $18,634.35? Or did you buy the call option when Bitcoin was priced at $18,634.35? Because if it's the second one, then what would the strike price be? Plus posting your screenshots would be very helpful.
My post and question are simple enough, so anyone with any good ideas can easily furnish me with them. I believe you don't have any idea about this, not even a suggestion of a crypto options exchange or a valid question because if someone buys Bitcoin in an option trading (18634.35) for 1-hour expiration. And after the time lapses, the price of the BTC is 18855.87, is that not a win and straightforward enough? So I don't know how else to explain what is right in front of you to you.
5167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About the future of bitcoin - What are you worried about? on: October 13, 2022, 08:26:20 AM
My worries about Bitcoin have passed, what I could say is that instead of "worries," I now have more hope and optimism about the crypto. Bitcoin has gone to a stage in the world's financial transactions that it can't just disappear or be ridiculed by anyone, group or the government, so why worry again?

Of course, stiffer regulations would happen, which is nothing to worry me about since I am legit. And more adoptions and usage as payment is what I see judging by the level of its achievement so far. It has also stabilized in the mainstream market, so I expect a more successful future for our lovely BTC.
5168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Colorado is accepting crypto for tax payments - 2 on: October 13, 2022, 08:19:08 AM
It's another welcome development if Colorado has truly joined other states in the US in accepting crypto. But it is a discouragement to be paying higher than necessary in the name of crypto. Yet, I must say that I understand the plight of the state because the price of crypto is not stable, who will now cover up for the short-come when there is depreciation in the price of the crypto?

This is a kind of insurance by the state, having carefully studied what challenges other states are currently facing.

Rangers cannot be compared with Liverpool this match is what we call a KO, Rangers tried their best it was just impossible to hold Liverpool, and salah scored 3 goals with an assist from D. Jota, R. Firmino scored two with an assist from Gomez to score the second goal, with 9 shots on target Liverpool was really ready to give rangers a clean defeat with an amazing record of ball possession, Liverpool adding points and maintaining their position on the table. Napoli leading Liverpool with 3 points very soon if  Liverpool continues with this record the might top the table.

Congratulation to Liverpool for the massive victory they got from Rangers, because many people thought that rangers will defeat Liverpool with many goals but the match ended up for the favour of Liverpool 7-1. Liverpool strikers really showcased potential skills in this match that made Salah to achieved 3 goals from the match, because many people thought Salah can't perform well without the help of Sadio mane but he has prove them wrong in this match. Napoli defeated Ajax 4-2, showed that Napoli are really doing well in this season, because they have defeated many strong teams in this season that made many people to believed that they have something good to achieve in this season.
Rangers will live to remember yesterday because they wouldn't have expected it that bad. After 12 years of returning back to the champions league, they could still realize that they have more to learn compared to those that are consistent with the tough league. Salah performed well after leaving the bench and that granted him another broken history of the player that scored the fastest hat-trick in the champions league. R. Firmino did great too, those guys proved they were fit for the match.
5170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Sites in the Country doest allowed on: October 13, 2022, 04:09:04 AM
First, I like to advise people that they should not engage in illegalities, what the authorities in your country do not permit is what you should avoid. The worst is to relocate if they are disturbing your happiness and freedom. This is important, especially for the future, who knows if any circumstances would cause the government to dig deep into the person's financial transactions, which might invite further trouble if laws are broken?

That said, some countries would partially ban gambling, so you could still have some access, while the government will look away in most cases. Government officials could however be bribed or not bribed in the case of a partial banning, it does not matter, yet some gambling associations incentivised government officials to keep it that way.

Nonetheless, in case it is totally banned, then all gambling sites known by the government would be blocked. You will need to rely on a VPN to access them. Just be careful not to be caught in that kind of illegality, the penalty might be severe in some countries.

Arsenal - Liverpool is going to be the most attracting game of the week.

This is another important game for Liverpool to improve their league performance. They have been getting draws for two weeks. Especially the last one was due to big defensive issues as they conceded three goals. Arsenal are going to be a more challenging opponent for Liverpool. They are still the leader and their attacking performance is pretty consistent recently. They faced Tottenham which was one of the toughest games in the league for them but they still won by 3-1.

I think Arsenal are slightly closer to a win here. But it is very risky to bet on them at the same time. Considering that both of them are productive teams now I think that both teams to score at 1.50 odd is a very logical choice.

Both teams will show off their abilities. Despite their lackluster showing thus far, Liverpool is determined to win the game, Arsenal is the league leader and has been excellent offensively, so a draw seems inevitable. Klopp must show that Liverpool still needs him and that he has other plans in mind. To win back his supporters.
I respect your opinion, and you are right to have called a draw for them. Both teams performed good, and the 3-2 win could have been the other way around. Yet, I will not hide the fact that Liverpool still has a lot to do with their mid-field, and even their defence, the guys are trying but more is needed, and it was obvious in their last match. I was not surprised Arsenal later won, that was where my odds went in the first place. I couldn't choose Liverpool since they are not at the advantage with luck for now.

I don't still know why many persons think NFT is not that useful and is a waste if time. I like NFT and if you don't believe in it then that is fine.
It's not about how you feel about NFTs or what you think about it. I've read a lot about this subject and it seems that many old adopters believe NFT is the next revolution. I totally agree with them as there is no limitation to where NFTs can be useful. What may limit you is your own imagination.
You can make a Google search about where NFTs can be used and you will be amazed by the answers.
I am with you on this, more is to be done soon, and many developments would surprise people towards what they did not expect. I had thought of it myself and since I have seen this thread in addition, it means many people are thinking the same thing. So, it will not take long before professionals in the field will put their hands on the desk. NFT should not be an issue in gambling, the adoption should be simpler with the level at which technology surrounding crypto and gambling is advancing.
5174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I Disliked Bitcoin on: October 12, 2022, 07:18:05 AM
Well, People are always quick to jump to conclusions even without verification. Did you really verify the negative thoughts about Bitcoin before you believe it was so or that was just out of what was been said? Anyways, it is good that you have now understood what Bitcoin is and I truly believe that we are still at the early stage even though people can again argue that Bitcoin has already gone too high in price not thinking where it could be in years to come.
I never jumped to conclusions pal, I only had my reservations at that time. And if you must know, most of these reservations linger till today, only that I don't care about most of them anymore. The better regulations and more traceable transactions of Bitcoin these days help me better to under-weigh the negative side of it.

That whole "Bad guys use crypto so let's do everything in our power to make sure that people never use it" kind of reminds me of the Edward Snowden situation when he leaked that the US was monitoring people's phone calls to prevent terrorism.
And you think bad people could be totally eliminated from Crypto? That is not possible. Even the most regulated fiat is still being penetrated by these people.
5175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin on: October 12, 2022, 07:09:16 AM
In trading we often skip the good times knowingly. When the time is right for us to buy, we get embarrassed by its negative buzz and sell despite losing many times. We can never expect anything good in such a situation. Bitcoin is at a low level right now. Exploiting the bearish period by buying more can lead to huge opportunities.
Then such a person is not serious, I will always do what I want to do in terms of investment without thinking twice. I am well experienced, and it is best that we just close our eyes to invest when the risk is worth it. The higher our affinities to take risks, the better our chances to gain and be successful in life. Though we should take only reasonable risks, and with what I have known about Bitcoin, you should not think it twice when you see the 'Go' confirmation through the right channel of speculation.
5176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sharing my simple BTC purchase plan with newbies, and clueless holders on: October 12, 2022, 07:00:58 AM
It's worth to mention holding your coins on exchanges increase many risk of losing your coins, so it's better to transfer the coins from your own non custodial wallet to the exchanges and convert it to stable coin rather than hold it on exchange.
And you left it an exchange.
For starters using centralized exchanges and leaving funds there is a great risk since they can get hacked, scam or run away with your money.
Leaving your coins on an exchange is a high risk
I have been awash with this but I guess you guys didn't read what I wrote insightfully. My points are based on three parts, the second part is to move it between BTC and USDT frequently, so is it not an exchange that could do that for me cost-effectively? Even though the third part has justified it already, I still move my earnings to fiat and non-custodial wallet in addition to the first point. So, an exchange does not hold my money for so long, which is a good and safe deal for me.

Remember you are suggesting to the newbies so with the buy and sell according to the market movements so they can make more profits is simply asking them to take higher risks. If I am there then I would choose the safer option which is buy and HODL. And FYI, most people who bought and HODL became richer for example if someone bought at the peak of 2017 still in the profits even at the lowest price of now which is around 19500. Roll Eyes
I quite understand you, but this is not only for newbies, it is for those that want to effectively maximize their dealings with BTC. They could opt for the one/ones that are good for them.

With these, BTC is effectively utilized by me, and I hope others could do the same.
It is 'effectively utilized' by you because that is what you want to do; you are using your BTC the way you want and for the reasons you bought it, but others may not do their own things the way you do yours, bitcoin practices will defer amongst users because the community is a big one, so there shouldn't be ''.

No one is quoting "rules of usage" here, you are the one overbearing with your response. I can't force anything on anyone, it's an advice to those that want to replicate. There is no wrong in trying to maximize our utilization of BTC, which I tried to explain above just the way I do mine. Some could do less, while some would even do more than I explained above. Life is by choice, just my way of doing it, you can ignore it if you want.
5177  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Currency should be Integrated into School Curriculum on: October 11, 2022, 06:25:33 PM
You have a perfect point and prospect, but cryptocurrency is still young, it is still looking for survival through more adoptions by people and the government. When it has been well adopted by over 50% of the world's population and government, this kind of view could be raised more often with more appreciation following it.

For now, we should be trying our parts by introducing it to our family members, friends, business associates, the companies we work, the school we teach and all that. These are the ways that we could set the fire burning, and with time, who knows? Crypto might surpass your dreams/wishes.
5178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto withdrwals in USA on: October 11, 2022, 07:08:22 AM
I have a question that

Lets assume that I have USDT 12000 ON my Binance US Account. If i withdraw USDT to my bank account in USA.  What about the possibility and taxation about it?
Know that the US likes to lead in everything and they are the most advanced in Crypto regulation as of today, so be sure that you are legit and straightforward with provable transactions in the first place. Having satisfied that, the source of the money matters, so long as the money is an income, it is taxable even if it is less than a dollar.

Taxable Crypto earnings in the US include but are not limited to all the payments received (incentives, mining, hard fork, sweepstakes and any online activities that generate money as crypto) and gains from holding etc.

As a liable taxpayer in the US, you will be sure to report all the necessary tax returns, and if you are dealing with the exchanges in the US for the transactions, they would report it to IRS (Internal Revenue Service), and you will also be furnished with a copy of the report in case you need it for documentation.
5179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 2022 low again? on: October 11, 2022, 06:39:58 AM
I believe that every trader and investor should remain optimistic about the market now and in the future. Price correction can happen and vice versa better potential can also be achieved, that is the most likely thing to happen to bitcoin.

I finally have to say YES, bitcoin still has the potential to bottom out again for the rest of 2022.
No one should be optimistic yet about Bitcoin, such might be disastrous. What I could advise is for everyone to always reanalyze the market on the daily basis, which is the only way we will not make mistakes. The Bitcoin that was bullish yesterday might be bearish today, so we have to be careful and dynamic.

Its not looking good today, we appear to be failing the trend.  I hope we recover before end of week and so the move is negated but yet another trend failure is not expected to lead to any good price action.
Bitcoin was bullish last week but has slipped back to a bearish trend since after Friday. This is a good development for the bears and it might last for the rest of this week according to my long-term analysis. The bullish enthusiast should, therefore, wait for now.

It is true that in 10 months we will experience a bear market, it looks like the bear market will continue until the end of this year.ofits.
Of course, the bears rule the market in 2022, and might still dominate till the end of the year. The market has been bearish since 2021 if you look carefully at your chart, and it is however better that we remain firm with that view in the long term. But we could regularly adjust our stances on the short-term outlook.

We are almost at the end of 2022. The market is a bit stable at a time when Bitcoin is supposed to be in an uptrend.
It could be a warning to you that Bitcoin is not yet ready to buy as it is hesitating to rise much when it has bullish opportunities. It might be confined within $25k and $17k for the time being (throughout 2022), so we should all get used to it and make out opportunities within the levels.
5180  Economy / Economics / Re: Currencies are Collapsing Everywhere. on: October 11, 2022, 06:26:34 AM
What the world is experiencing now has happened many times in the past, only that technology and awareness were not this much to know that they are general. The safe-haven USD is the only currency enjoying the show now, not even the Japanese Yen and Swiss franc, Gold etc. which were supposed to enjoy the same benefits.

Above all, inflation is to be mainly blamed for this, nothing else is so significant, the effect is much and was aggravated by the Russian-Ukraine war that started in February 2022. I believe it is nearing its end, next year would probably conclude that.
