5163  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: We need BTC payment gateway for tor on: October 22, 2018, 09:41:17 AM
Coinpayments have an hidden service (onion) url available.

He should expect to have his account closed and his funds taken away If he the website he's building is meant for something illegal.
5164  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advise for transferring money overseas to buy BTC from the US on: October 22, 2018, 07:04:41 AM
Most sellers offer me more than 10% if I do Paypal. Even if I were a trader, it'd be also hard for me to do it because scammers can accumulate the payment up to 6 months for chargeback. I guess other escrow service is better

On localbitcoins, there are a few experienced overseas sellers (based on his ratings and transactions) with price listed as low as 6000.

An escrow service is pretty much useless when it comes to reversible transactions such as PayPal, Skrill, Neteller etc.

Virwox can be his option too for using PayPal.

Virwox is not really worth it, the fees are too high and even though there is no verification needed, you will need to have an old account If you want to buy any significant amount.
5165  Economy / Currency exchange / [W] 50$ PayPal [H] Bitcoin on: October 22, 2018, 06:57:02 AM
I have 50$ in Bitcoin and I would like to get PayPal. 1:1 using preev.com rates.

I don't want to have any worries about chargebacks in the future so I'm only comfortable trading with green trust users.
5166  Economy / Invites & Accounts / [WTS] Clash Royale | Level 10 | 20$ on: October 21, 2018, 05:50:06 PM
I uploaded all the needed details to imgur. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

I've only played with an account the Android so I believe I will have to give the Gmail address with it. If there are any other ways to transfer the account, let me know. I'm asking for 20$ only and accepting ETH, BTC, and LTC.
5167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Problems with Localbitcoin or Paxful? on: October 21, 2018, 05:02:39 PM
Are the users going to trade with you or it's going to be another P2P platform?

If you're simply offering a similar platform to Paxful and LB, It's going to be hard to bring users unless your project has something that your competitors haven't and I don't think that simply saying that you have better support will do the trick.
5168  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Playerup withdrawal on: October 21, 2018, 03:59:58 PM
Someone working with Playerup has reached out to me here and apparently, there was a problem with their system so they'll process the withdrawal manually. It's solved.
5169  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the important knowledge we need to learn here? on: October 21, 2018, 03:37:43 PM
1. A wallet should: give you control over your private keys and need to be open source.
2. An exchange is meant for buying/selling crypto and not for storing your funds, it doesn't matter If you have 2FA enabled or not, your funds are not secure there because you don't have control over them. (Think of the following scenarios: Hacks, inside jobs, exit scam...) So just trade and withdraw to your personal wallet.
3.In general, a reputable exchange will be listed in CoinMarketCap and has a few millions in trading volume, don't try to use something else. If you find an exchange that has a lot of advantages and you have some doubts about, feel free to ask in the forums.
4. If you're into ICOs, avoid projects with hype around them, only invest in something that you believe in.
5. Avoid cloud mining companies and sites that promise to give daily interest, It's a Ponzi scheme.
6. If you're dealing with other individuals, avoid accepting reversible PayPal payments unless that user is trustworthy. If dealing with someone in the forums, watch the profile and see If there was a recent password change (account hacked), and also the trust history.
7. A little bit off topic but you should avoid post bursting.

I'm not sure how deep you are into crypto and If you already know about this or not but hopefully these pieces of advice could help you and save you some money.

5170  Economy / Exchanges / About Binance's DEX on: October 21, 2018, 03:07:18 PM
The video is from August[1] but I came across it only recently. I suggest checking it out If you haven't already, the idea looks very interesting.

What I'm curious about is to understand how is this profitable to Binance in any way? I might be jumping to conclusions but a decentralized exchange will probably be open source and there will be no fees either. So, aside from trying to build and bring more people to Binance's Chain, what's really the purpose of this?

I'm also interested in knowing If anyone has any updates about this from their social media pages as I couldn't find anything since August from YouTube and blogs.

5171  Economy / Service Discussion / Playerup withdrawal on: October 21, 2018, 07:57:28 AM
I've always found listings about online games accounts there, but I haven't used the site until now.

I have deposited more funds then I need because I thought about using them in the future as well. But then I noticed that the guy I was buying from is no longer offering his services. So now, while trying to cash out the credits because I no longer need them, nothing happens.

Playerup allows multiple cashout methods such as PayPal, Skrill, Bitcoin etc.

The weird thing is that while filling to withdraw bitcoin, It asks you for an email address and between brackets, it says "any exchange" which makes me think they don't even know how bitcoin works because I should clearly fill an address there (It's impossible to copy paste anything but an email).

So my question is to anyone who used this site before, is there is any chance I could withdraw my funds? I have tried with Skrill but that didn't do anything either... so I'm not sure If I'm doing this wrong (because the site is a little bit confusing) or the system is actually broken (but that wouldn't make sense because I haven't seen other people complaining about it). I opened multiple support tickets and It's being almost three/four weeks now and no replies.
5172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advise for transferring money overseas to buy BTC from the US on: October 19, 2018, 06:41:33 PM
1. Use Bitcoin ATMs. Fees could be high compared to using an exchange though.
2. Trade with individuals in P2P platforms such as Paxful, Localbitcoins using PayPal, Skrill etc. (beware of chargebacks) or face-to-face.
3. If you're European, try to use Bitstamp, Bitfinex, Coinbase, Coinmama, BitPanda etc.
5173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Need help with unconfirmed Transaction on: October 19, 2018, 03:48:51 PM
The fees are not that low, the network is simply congested: https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,2h

Your transaction should get confirmed within the next few hours.
5174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: blockchain.com via Twitter: "Something "big" is coming" on: October 19, 2018, 02:16:18 PM
Is it worth submitting an email to them or is it going to be total peanuts we’re talking about here?

With the slow support they have, you'll probably receive a reply when It's too late, so better wait for the countdown.
5175  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: We need BTC payment gateway for tor on: October 19, 2018, 12:37:41 PM
I suggest running your own node as suggested above and use BTCPayServer for that purpose. Tor support is not there yet but It's being discussed: https://github.com/btcpayserver/btcpayserver/issues/320

and according to the developer, It's not that hard, so you may be able to implement it yourself.
5176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a rest API at IDAX.mn? on: October 19, 2018, 12:29:34 PM
If you find an exchange on CoinMarketCap, it means it has an API because there is no other way to retrieve the info, at least not easily.

I managed to find this[1]. They have both WebSocket API and Rest API.

5177  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is bitify.com down ? on: October 19, 2018, 11:47:36 AM
But not everyone wants to install some app/software in able to use a marketplace or something. That's the downside of OB. Why they don't let their users use a browser-based marketplace as well. Though I can't argue that they are trustworthy enough but still~

It's the price for decentralization I guess, same applies for BitSquare. I'm not sure If the same features like choosing the ports, connecting through Tor etc. can be applied If they made a browser-based platform, maybe It would be If you run it locally yourself but in that case, that would be more work then installing an app/software.
5178  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Altex exchange ROBBERY on: October 19, 2018, 10:58:23 AM
the problem is in regulation of these institutions. In some cases, they just decide to robe the users and nobody can't stop this.

Regulations must be done in all countries in that case otherwise anyone could open these exchanges since It's done online.

I think we should educate people more instead of asking for laws and regulations. If each one us has the basic understanding of how crypto works, on how we could keep our funds safe by having full over our private keys and not use online platforms for that purpose, and also that we shouldn't trust an exchange that its team is not known the public, the design and the effort put in the website should also be taken in consideration, the support response time or basically anything that shows how unprofessional and careless the team is.

I also don't understand why people use unknown exchange If there are others are big, trustworthy and have huge trading volume and If there is an excuse like "the coin is only being traded there" then It should be a red flag not only for the exchange but also for the coin because nothing good comes from a coin being traded in unprofessional/unknown exchange (e.g YoBit and the coins there).
5179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Deposit money to a Turkish Bank acc, is it possible ? on: October 19, 2018, 10:21:25 AM
Countries and central banks have regulations, just because you have a bank account, doesn't mean It can be used anywhere also you have to prove your identity by sending documents etc.

If you're using an exchange, you'll have to be from a particular country yes otherwise you could use Western Union, Skrill, PayPal (I guess not supported in Turkey) or other online platforms to trade with individuals instead of companies.

That's why I suggested selling your bitcoin to a Turkish exchange so you get your money in your local currency and faster probably. If you could give in details what you're trying to achieve exactly, I would probably be able to help more.

Have you tried using advertising networks? The thread was last updated in 2016 but most of the networks are still running: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1108616.0
