I don't remember who exactly over those forums sent me an email regarding an article. This is what he sent me ~Snipped~ Any further information would be very appreciated (or I'm just getting scammed over here).
This is the user in question ( Technomahiks): - Accusation against him (already exposed)- See the threads he created here
I mean how can the guardian and Forbes be that cheap?
This (just stay away): i personally have experience publishing articles on one of those magazines before. If its a paid editorial its definitely more expensive than what it's quoted. Fake offer.

Can someone slap a sticker on his windshield?
Why do that when the user in question, deserves to be banned? Archived: Page 1, Page 2 and Page 3Similar cases (recently): Read the first and last post of the thread (two similar cases [even though they had a different intention, both belong to the same category])
Just report and it'll be handled quickly.

We are not allowing deleting comment but will allow editing.
When that will be implemented? (Checked earlier, can't edit).
We are working on adding lot of features and also to spread word about our service we need merits points.
So if you like this project then don't forget to. Merit us
Thanks for your support we need atleast 10 merits to spread in formation about our coin.
That counts as begging (don't do it, earn it the right way): In case by those, you meant to have the ability to post images normally, you don't need merit (all you need is reaching the next rank [Jr. member]). While we will not be directly moderating this, I encourage people to give merit to posts that are objectively high-quality, not just posts that you agree with.
Our site is bit different and we pay user for posting comment and rating we don't have any source of income. We have planned to give all to users who help in rating and commenting about coins.
Then how you're going to pay users?

Yes, this is because we are still in the process of forming a full team, and we will have designers joining our team.
That's not a valid reason (especially with what you're trying to deal here). Are you a designer,
I am. would you like to join us or just to help out (will pay)?
Due to personal reasons, I prefer not to but you can hire someone else from " Overview of Bitcointalk Designers".

If an account is already tagged as a merit abuser or anything their merit will be automatically disabled. In this way we can instantly stop their abuse to send merits in creating new accounts.
You should change "merit" to "sMerit".
Any other positive or negative suggestion's are welcome and will be appreciated. I like the idea but at the same time, I can easily argue on both sides. If this was part of the current system, then we wouldn't be able to easily spot alt accounts of these abusers or those they're connected to.
Instead of that, I'm looking forward to this: Merit sales, transfers to aliases, back-and-forth trading, etc. are not much of an issue. All illegitimate merit will decay, and will account for a tiny and very expensive fraction of the total merit economy. It's basically a rounding error; fight it where convenient, but waste no sleep over it.

Please feel free to give us advices on improvements we can bring replying to this thread.
Few suggestions: 1. Display "Top gainers and losers" tables, beside each other (side by side). 2. Be able to change the "BTC SHARE" to other crypto-currencies (on the main page, upper right) 3. On the main page, adding the ability to view the following (Price/Market Cap/Volume/Current Supply/Variation) by highest and lowest (at the moment it's listed by highest order [after clicking each of those], succeeding clicks doesn't lead to the lowest).
Apart from those, it's quite good.

Age of an account, isn't the only deciding factor for obtaining one ( How we do get custom titles?): If I had to guess I would say you have to a) be a respectable, long standing member, and b) ask nicely
This right here or donate to the forum.
I am going to go with that they asked theymos really nice and he gave it to them, I think that blazed did that,
Correct. or maybe he has it because he is staff?
He's not.

i was think is there any platform who can be a bridge for bounty participant and the project team? a platform that can prevent any "scam" or unprofessional word from the project team? maybe it is like an escrow platform that give a requirement to ICO Project team to hold project stake on the platform and distribute it automatically to the bounty participant after the project end?
You can try the following platforms (although I can't vouch for them to completely prevent possible scams): 1. BountyHive2. BOUNTYPLATFORM3. BountiesAlert4. BountyLord

Found a bug: - After fetching the data > Clicking the green refresh button > Clears the numbers under "USD" and "EUR".
Suggestions: 1. Instead of fetching the "Total Unpaid" amount (based on zpool, not sure if other pools are the same), you should display the actual "Balance" amount (since "Total Unpaid" amount always changes from time to time). 2. Adding a save button (to eliminate repeating all of the steps after refreshing the whole page or for next visit).

You should add/implement the following as well:
1. Ability to set "start and end dates/time", either by inputting or by highlighting. 2. On "Days" tab: Instead of showing -1, -2, -3 and so on..., their actual dates should be there. 3. More exchanges and crypto choices.

Care to explain the following (in better details): Is the transaction really private?
Yes, our system is still in BETA so bugs can occur however the privacy of the transaction is our first priority, and due to this nature the address you are sending the transaction from can be different from the actual address in your account. Is it some sort of internal mixing within the wallet (as a whole)? - Just to be clear, I'm not talking about an individual's wallet.

Hi like in the subject i'm looking for vps services that accept btc and are good for cpu mining.
SteadyTurtle fits within those categories: VPS hostingTheir ann thread: >>> SteadyTurtle.com - Bitcoin Web Hosting - Shared Hosting & VPS Servers
Q&A (regarding a similar case to yours): 1) Is everything that's legal allowed (i.e. things like mining CPU coins, running game servers, file hosting, etc.)? 2) What images are available for OSs, and can we refresh them ourselves/swap or do we need support to?
yes you can host any legal thing expect porn. All major OS and their different versions are available, and you and reinstall the vps with new OS yourself from your steadyturtle account.
You should move this thread to " Service Discussion" (more users will respond there). - Use the "move topic" button from the lower left section of this thread.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to check the given link as it says "This site can’t be reached".
Was able to find a cached version of it (it's not recent enough but you can see the dark shades). But I'm requesting this option to be available here in this forum (bitcointalk.org). I hope someday it will be available for the sake of our eyes. There's been similar request to yours and given how everything is (until now, for this forum), then it's best to wait for the new forum instead of hoping for its implementation here. - For the time being, you can refer to this thread ( How to easily change the bitcointalk.org skin and other SMF sites to dark theme) or simply use a 3rd party extension on your chrome browser.

I just checked your post history just now, and guess what? You're not qualified. How ironic that you have the word "crypto" in your username but 90%-95% of your posts aren't even about crypto.
I think the campaign in question is "facebook and twitter" (based on his/her recent posts), so the quality of his/her posts won't be checked (unless he/she applies for a signature campaign [after ranking up]).
Please is it advisable to work for a campaign, even when you have not been accepted in their spreadsheet status.
i just joined a campaign and its been a day or 2 days now and i have not been accepted on their spreadsheet, should i wait to be accepted or should i just keep working and submitting my work.
Normally, you should wait for your username to appear on the spreadsheet (prior to starting the work), however I went over your application (for "SONDER ICO") and the following answer fits well: or maybe you're simply just not qualified to join.
Rules Account must be at least 3 months old.
Not sure when you created your FB account but your twitter account was created on 18th of March 2018.

Few suggestions and errors:
1. Like button, isn't working (on both main page and individual pages, it vanishes after refreshing the page). 2. Thumbnails on the main page, are way too big (reduce them in half [at least]). 3. Lack of information regarding how you label one "Legit" or "SCAM". 4. On the main page, instead of graying out everything while hovering over them, you should show a green "✔" or red "✘" according to their status.

I want to buy a bitcointalk account whether that is legitimate on the forum
Yes, it is but frowned upon by the community: 18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.
Take note: Most likely, you'll end up with one of the following scenarios: 1. Seller scams you. 2. Receive a negative rating for purchasing one. 3. Being banned ( based on your short post history, there's a high chance [unless you learn to follow the rules]): - What's the point in posting twice (6 minutes apart) in a single thread, without adding any value?

I am risking my only one account not sure if I am a fool or what? Only thing I am sure about is, what I am doing is right. These merit users needed to be warned and I am warning them with the proof of their misuse.
Then you shouldn't worry. These abusers need to be tagged (red trust), they need to admit that they are guilty.
They won't do that, instead they'll come up with countless excuses...
Here's a post regarding that: There isn't really any rule against it per se and it's not really enforced at an admin or staff level, so it's more of a community issue right now much like scams and other such shady behaviour. As far as I'm aware the only thing that is currently prohibited is merit sources selling their merit though I'm not sure what the punishment for that would be other than them being removed as merit source.
And this post is somehow relevant to this thread: I think that tagging may be appropriate in particularly obvious cases, or particularly egregious cases involving hundreds of merit points and several posts. But generally you should start out by assuming good faith, and only change that opinion as the evidence really piles up. Tagging someone immediately after an instance of apparently-inexplicable meriting is too trigger-happy IMO. Even if it is a case of illegitimate merit, even hundreds of illegitimate merit points are not much of a problem IMO, so you have to ask whether it's worthwhile to possibly make a mistake by tagging someone who is merely suspicious.

- The option to move the thread to another board should be disabled on Boards with this kind of specific limitations,
Normally, that would result in restricting the following things that you mentioned here: I would think the purpose is to allow users to move them to the right board after posting on the wrong one and being told so by others. It can also be used to move closed topics to Archival for example.
So instead of that (different types of threads, in general), I think self moderated threads (as a whole) shouldn't have the ability of being transferred to another board. Reason behind my suggestion: - I highly doubt a casual user, knows how to create a self moderated topic (most will just click the "new topic" > disregard the "Additional Options..." > type and click post). So if someone creates such topics, they won't be publishing those in a wrong board.
- The thread should be marked somehow so that those limitations are kept even after moving them to another board, or
- Threads moved from a Board with limitations should not be allowed back if the corresponding limitation was broken (if a post was moderated or edited for example)
I support these two.
