PayPal is not a scam. You just have to play entirely by it's (sometimes extremely frustrating) rules.
Just like Bitcoin they have their protocol in place. The ones that don't follow the protocol get orphaned and rejected. Simple as that.

It's GDP is 5 Trillion, equal to that of China, I want to know why that is?
I'm from Canada and we only make 1.5 trillion, which is pretty sad lol
Exports. And I will guess some well paid tech patents ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

It's not really a problem for bitcoin. It's theft from the bot's actual owners, but we can't really do anything about that.
Well, I had an idea recently. The owners of the infected computers can sue the botnet operator for the Bitcoins their computers mined. This would counteract the profitability of the botnet operation. Maybe the Bitcoin community can assist with this somehow. Let's say that we find the bots and have the owners sign up on a class action suit. Once the operator is located, he can be hit with the suit. if... if... if... 99% chance that's not going to happen ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) All you'd have to do is go on HackForums and have yourself get infected and watch all the C&C's that come trolling in like your unaware. They distribute trojans for linux on hackforums? I thought skiddies only cared about winblozz ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

You should've learnt with Matthew...
1st: You announce the Magazine will be out in a month... 2nd: You collect yearly subscriptions money... 3rd: You keep giving excuses for the Magazine not being out yet 4th: You make a blog post excusing yourself and saying it was your fault for announcing it too soon, conveniently not mentioning the part where you collected money from people. 5th: ?? ?? ?? 6th: Profit!
NOW, THIS IS HOW PROS DO IT!
EDIT: Forgot about something... Matthew also says that anyone interested in having better updates about the state of the magazine publishing should join that .co.uk bitcoin forum owned by Vladimir because he doesn't want to post them here, in the forum owned by the competition. I suppose all bitcointalk.org is good for is to collect yearly subscriptions money and trolling, ain't that right, Matthew?

I can see how that might work to undermine blocklists, but selling the private keys works just as well. Anyway, he might have to wait a long time to mine his one transaction.
There is no need to sell the private key. transaction fees aren't subject to any taint list so .... tainted coins in -----> coin melter* ----> untained coins out ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) * coin melter simply makes a tx using tainted coins as the input a new address as the output and send a % to coinbase as a tx fee. Using enough blocks one could convert all tainted coins into coinbase rewards. At which point they can be used just like any other coins. That would be a great business(and probably very profitable) for the one who is brave enough to do it ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Translation: I wished my mom lended me $5k to go full long with 1000+ bitcoins but it didn't happen.
Although you might think so, Atlas was an early adopter and does indeed have plenty of bitcoins of his own. Pics or it didn't happen... He has been here from the early days. That'll translate to much more bitcoins quite easily, unless he sold off them that is. Oh, does it? So, time passed posting ramblings on a forum about Bitcoin equates somehow to having a lot of bitcoins? Did I get that right? The fact that he knew about Bitcoin when the difficulty was magnitudes lower certainly does... I found Bitcoin the first time around August 2009 and quickly wrote it off and forgot about it until I found it again around January 2011(yeah tell me about it ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) ) and got amazed that the shit really worked and here I am...

Whatever dude. You can keep the chocolate. It seems you need it to treat that depression of yours. The man asked for solutions and chose the one he thought was best for him, with or without spending money. And he gets to have his 3g shared over wi-fi as a plus. Or should he use an ad-hoc network when he needs the wi-fi to connect his tablet/laptop, if he has one of those ofcourse, only because that's the "free" way to do it? Vapourminer, I loved how you left out the part where internet sharing spends computer resources not only electricity... Resuming, been there, done that, got the t-shirt. And yes, my solution is superior, even in costs ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Also, OP, keep the bitcoin. Don't want to offend the butthurt folks by accepting it.

I should add that I advised the netgear because it's exactly what I use and I'm very satisfied with it. There are other similar routers, ofcourse ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) EDIT: So, Clipse, the proper way is to have a computer spending resources and electricity 24/7 to share an internet connection? Can I laugh at you without you getting pissed? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) EDIT II: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.speedtest.net%2Fresult%2F1858582348.png&t=663&c=S8sVlqP1blgXDA) These are my results in a low 3g coverage area. And when I mean low I mean that I can't make a video call from my cell phone because the nearest cell tower is 10Km away on a straight line :/

Ok really noob question here, but it has 4 ethernet ports right, I have more than 4 PCs that need to be connected, how exactly do I go about that? .. so how do I connect up a second network switch, say an 8 or 16 port gigabit switch
A hub/switch connected to 1 of those ethernet ports, maybe? But it has wi-fi... I don't even use the ethernet ports, so I can't tell you exactly how to do it. Now an even noobier question from me: How do you connect all those PC's to a single 3g modem that doesn't even have a single ethernet port? its plugged into my main PC, and its set to share to allow all users on network to use it, main pc is connected to switch via ethernet Same principle, then. But I'm 99% sure that you can connect the switch directly to the router port instead of your computer. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Maybe someone can chime in and say it with 100% certainty ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Answer here: http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/lanwan/lanwan-basics/31442-how-to-add-ports-to-a-router

The answer to your problems is called MBRN3000 by Netgear. http://www.netgear.com/home/products/mobile-broadband/3g-mobile/mbrn3000.aspxI own one and my 3g stays up sometimes for 2-3weeks in a row. In fact it goes down most of time because I disconnect the router to take with me when I need to go out for a couple days or so. $100 well spent, I'll tell you that. You can send the 1.5 BTC to the address in my signature ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Well... I've told this to every person who I introduced to Bitcoin: Would you leave your wallet unattended in a table on the middle of a shopping mall? With Bitcoin you also have to be careful, just like with your pocket wallet. They seem to get it... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
