5181  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC reach? on: February 05, 2018, 09:25:19 PM
It looks like the 7000$ mark is finding support at this moment. It will depend what will happen tomorrow, if we go below this mark and it doesn't bounce back, than we are in for a new drop.
5182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is decreasing?? on: February 05, 2018, 12:43:36 PM
Bitcoin has now become too popular!
And many people began to study it, plus governments of different countries want to control it.
All this in the aggregate created a panic, and the markets reacted immediately.
You just have to wait and not panic)

Yeah, with the big bitcoin price rise in december, more and more media jumped on it and bitcoin became mainstream.
We depend on what the governments decide what they will do with bitcoin, it can go both ways.
5183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell SUB? (Shitcoin) on: February 04, 2018, 05:09:31 PM
I have not yet heard of this coin, but I would wait until this coin suddenly pumps (and than get dumped). Most of the times all these shitcoins get suddenly a pump and dump.
5184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: February 04, 2018, 04:49:13 PM
I do agree that now faucets ain't really worth it any more unless people find a good Altcoin faucet/s that pay a good amount of coins.

I was claiming from faucets in 2015 right up to the start of 2017 and that is when I stopped as the rewards were getting smaller and smaller as the price of BTC started going up. However I have made a lot of money from faucets because I bought other Alts with the BTC I used to get from faucets and now most of those Alts have gone up 10x from 2015 and 2016 so yes it was possible to make thousands from faucets if people used them right. By that I mean buying Alts with the BTC earned like I did.

The problem is finding such an altcoin faucet that pay good amount of coins, I think nowadays it is really difficult to find a good rewarding faucet.
Faucets are a good way to start if you are new to crypto, but unless you have lots of referrals, you will only earn pennies from it.
5185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rough Start on: February 04, 2018, 02:24:28 PM
Its rough start i guess for those whos in need to incash bitcoin.

If that's the case, people shouldn't invest to begin with. The main thing with investing is that you use money that you know of that you won't be needing it in the foreseeable future. If you invest with money that isn't mean to be invested, you're just a dumb ass. If you are man enough to pump that money into Bitcoin, then be man enough to sit this out and stop complaining. The general mentality here is that you can 'rich' just by investing in Bitcoin, where you'll be counting your profits a week or two later. Roll Eyes

Basic rule of investing is that you only should invest money that you are willing to loose. People should more look at the long term but many start panicking when prices go down fast and will sell everything.
5186  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: February 04, 2018, 01:19:38 PM
Sorry about the delay in payments the last few days, we had a few users making large withdrawals which drained our hot wallets and created a backlog in sending payments out. We have a better hot-wallet refill policy in place now which should hopefully minimize such issues in the future.

A few points to clarify the re-branding:

  • The re-branding and addition of new coins will not happen suddenly, it will be done over a period of a few months and we shall send 3 emails over this time so that pretty much all of our users are aware before the name change.
  • We have the freebitco.in name registered until 2025 so even after the name change, all freebitco.in links will work as usual (no need to change banner or referral links etc.) and everyone visiting freebitco.in will be seamlessly directed to the new website with a message informing them of the re-brand.
  • All coins will have all of the features that bitcoin has but I am yet undecided about the lottery (maybe it will be a combined one with the prize paid out in the currency of the users choice)
  • Users will be able to claim only 1 coin every hour to begin with but hopefully I can increase the limits eventually.

The re-brand is part of a process to make freebitco.in more than just a faucet. My plan is to implement a no-KYC shapeshift.io style exchange after the rebrand to enable users to exchange between coins instantly. I feel like we have outgrown the freebitco.in name and the rebrand will allow us to do a lot more stuff without people associating the website with being just a faucet which somewhat restricts our growth now.

Thanks for the clarifications wetsuit! I am looking forward to this change and I am sure it will a great success!

@Kprawn, they will add dogecoin, ethereum and monero, which are not exactly shitcoins. And if they put an exchange in place, than there is no problem if you win the lottery in dogecoins.

DogeCoin { https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogecoin/ } in my opinion is still a Shitcoin. It has been around for years

and not showing that it is going somewhere very soon. Ethereum is showing some promise, but I do not trust Vitalik and

his founder buddies. Monero is largely used in the Dark web for shady dealings. {again my opinion} .... and you might

expect some resistance from governments against coins like that. {This includes Dash} .... The biggest problem is not

with the Shitcoins... more with the inconvenience to manage several of them. {This is why a exchange in the site is

crucial to the success of this}  Roll Eyes

Okay, doge might not be the best example of a "good" altcoin, although it has some nice features. Key will indeed be a good working exchange, because as you say creating wallets for all coins, maintaining them and keeping them safe is sometimes a pain in the ass.
5187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 04, 2018, 12:11:26 PM
So will all the top players be ready for the next big tournament?
I am waiting for Andy Murray to come back into tennis from his hiatus.
Since he missed the last two tournaments from when I remember him last to play in one. Undecided
I am personally getting tired of Roger Federer winning all of them.

I will never get tired of watching Federer win tournaments Smiley His game style is closest to perfection that anybody managed to achieve in this sport. Meaning attractive, short points, easy for the body (less injuries)....

On the other hand I would like to see all players, especially top ones back on the tour and 100% ready (Djokovic, Murray, Nadal, Wawrinka, Nishikori, Raonic...)

Same for me! The more tournaments Federer wins, the happier I am  Smiley. Last news I have read is that Djokovic is close to be 100% fit. Nadal is also almost back from his injury.

5189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to buy altcoins? on: February 03, 2018, 12:52:49 PM
You need to do your own research before you will invest. Yes, there was a major drop yesterday and prices have started to bounce back, but that is not a guarantee that prices will keep going up ...

For any kind of investment you will have people who will have patience, have trust and will hold even if there is a major dip. Others will start panicking when their is a drop and will start selling. I believe I am part of the first group  Smiley.
5192  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: February 03, 2018, 11:29:00 AM
There is a way to use the site without captchas but for that you need to deposit 2x of the amount that you won with the free rolls.
So if you have won 10 k sat using the free rolls, you need to deposit 20 k sat.
No, the minimum amount is about 400k.

Are you sure ? I already deposited numerous times on freebitco.in, but my first deposit was 60k (which was more than the double of my free rolls) and my captcha did disappear ...
@Myfe, could you help us out here?
5193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium Classic - Callisto airdop 5th of March 2018 on: February 02, 2018, 10:19:36 PM
Callisto is a separate blockchain that is based on Ethereum protocol with its own cryptocurrency (CLO)...Callisto introduces a Cold staking protocol that rewards coin holders for being network participants. The airdop will commence on the 5th of March 2018. Everyone holding any ETC will be given 1:1 Callisto.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gktUVJOT--Y

https://cryptovest.com/news/etc-callisto-airdrop-announcement-leads-to-price-surge-and-stability/

How will this influence the current price of ETC?  Grin And what would be a fair price for 1 Callisto (CLO) coin?

It is the first time I heard of this Callisto airdrop, but it will have its impact on ETC price. Probably many people will buy ETC or trade another coin to ETC to profit from this airdrop, which will have a positive effect on the price.

5195  Economy / Speculation / Re: The big schock coming! But to which levels? 8500 or further? on: February 02, 2018, 10:05:38 PM
It seems that the price is for the moment fluctuating around the $8500 mark, meaning there is support at this mark.
We will need to wait and see what happens tomorrow, if the price starts dropping and doesn't bounce back at this mark, than we are in for a new crash I think....
5196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTOPIA WITHDRAWAL FEE 2018 on: February 02, 2018, 10:35:48 AM
i want to ask, how much is the fee in cryptopia.? i want to make sure before to transfer my eth there, because i dont have any idea about that exchange.

for example:

i want to with withdraw .026 btc

what is the fee for that in cryptopia???

After a quick google and forum search, the fees are 0.002BTC. As you can notice, this fee is quite high and the highest I have seen on an exchange.
5197  Economy / Speculation / Re: this is the drop i have been waiting for on: February 02, 2018, 09:02:40 AM
still dropping.....whats the bottom?

it went

5x down in 2013 so ? 20k ---> 4K?
It could continue dropping.

I'd still like to see whether or not bitcoin is able to go above $10k once again and stay there and stabilize. I'm betting on that happening. If not, then there is a high chance that we may go down to $7k and temporarily rest there. Markets are too volatile, though. So it's hard to say for sure.

I'm leaning towards buying at the moment because of the fact that all cryptocoins are just absolutely cheap as hell. Even if you're doing a short term trade you could easily flip $8.7k per bitcoin into $10k per bitcoin. After the dumps, there will be pumps.

The $10k mark had strong support, but has been broken yesterday and today price is not bouncing back but dropping further. I would expect to see a further drop to $5000 or even lower if this trend continues.
5198  Economy / Services / Re: GRAFT - Credit Card and Crypto Payment Processing Network | Signature & Avatar Campaign | [OPEN] on: February 02, 2018, 08:52:45 AM
I have a question.
What if the bitcoin price decreases under 8K USD ,or even under 5-6K USD?
Will graft project adjust the weekly payments?
Thanks.

I was also wondering that  Cheesy. Given the drop in the BTC price it would be nice if we could go back to the original rates.
5199  Economy / Services / Re: GRAFT - Credit Card and Crypto Payment Processing Network | Signature & Avatar Campaign | [CFNP] on: February 01, 2018, 02:27:34 PM
Sheet updated for week 10. I know payments are delayed for the last week as well but all payments will be made soon once graft project gets a bit of free time. The team is very busy with the ICO. Hope you guys understand.

Got 1 open slot for member rank for the next round.

No problem, we will wait  Smiley. Hopefully they will combine the payments for week 9 and 10.
5200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin White The next 100x coin on: February 01, 2018, 09:27:41 AM
Bullshit.
Bitcoin White(BTW) will be the next 100x coin, I am impressed by how this token works and how big the community is, for me this will be a game changer in the market, and it will be listed on 24 exchanges imagine that Shocked what do you guys think about the future of Bitcoin White?

There are better coins in where you can invest right now, i do not understand why there could be some people interested to join and buy this crap.

Wow.. wait, just another "bitcoin" but with another tag next to it? Wow! I will buy it now! (/sarcasm off)

People see the name bitcoin and immediatly get excited lol. I don't see much potential in this coin, most probably it will be another pump and dump coin.
