5181  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: do not use POOLIN WALLET !! on: November 04, 2020, 10:58:29 PM
~snip~

Now, I see that's why you use the poolin wallet because you can't able to reach the minimum withdrawal of 0.005BTC or 500k sat. I thought that the 270k funds you talking about are 270k in USD,

For now, the only solution to this if you want to withdraw the amount from poolin wallet is to provide your identity and you can trust them because it was trusted pool since before. Or try to ask them from their telegram that if you can withdraw your funds from their wallet without providing your identity for privacy purposes. You can contact them from here https://t.me/poolinwallet

Next time if you can able to reach that minimum withdrawal 0.005BTC you can switch to other mining pool that you can able to withdraw at low like ViaBTC the minimum withdrawal is 0.001BTC or 100k sat.

Check the other mining pool from here https://miningpoolstats.stream/bitcoin and look for other pool that you can able to withdraw with lower minimum payment.

I would like to add and share these image tools below which I used for marketing purposes for a long time.

Here's the list that I'm using to create the best graphical images.

I didn't use them all but I used most of them for blogging and marketing. I got these tools from here 22x2.com and much better check that domain because it has so many useful tools that use for marketing and SEO and it has huge learning resources about digital marketing.
5183  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: do not use POOLIN WALLET !! on: November 03, 2020, 11:17:22 PM
Am I the only one thinking this sentence is a bit odd? It's true that I have no clue about mining, but a site having automatic (I guess OP mean minimum) payment thresholds of more than 250k does raise some serious red flags in my brain....

The pool(poolin.com) supports a custom threshold and has default minimum threshold so he should receive the BTC that he already mine after he reach the minimum withdrawal threshold to the set address.

So he might be talking about the wallet from poolinwallet.com and switch to new domain which is poolin.fi.

I tried to check their privacy policy and redirect me here https://h5.poolin.com/license/wallet_privacy_en.html
I don't see that they require photos, IDs and full face recognition but they require this.

Quote
Things you create or provide to us
1) When you create an account on the Website or other platform operated by the Company, you provide us with personal information that includes your phone number, email address and a password.

2) When you are using our mining services, we will collect information like number of miners, hashrate, earnings, wallet address, IP location etc. for the purpose of presenting information to you and for your convenience of management.

3) When you are using other specific products and/or services, for example online activities, gift campaign or others, you may need to provide extra information, including your name, gender, recipient address, company name etc. You do not need to provide such information if not use those specialized products or services.

4) We collect information about your activity in our services. For example, when you are using the help center, we will collect your search record and articles your click and the reviews you post. You have the right not to provide those data, but this may lead to your failure to use those functions.

There might have other reason why they ask for a photo of you and IDs for KYC. Maybe they ask it because you log in to different location with different IP or you log in to different device? This is just what I see according to their privacy policy.
5184  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: do not use POOLIN WALLET !! on: November 03, 2020, 10:18:30 PM
Are you talking about a Poolin wallet, not the mining pool?
Or are you talking about a wallet which is this domain below?

Code:
poolin.fi

It seems this domain is new according to whois. It was created 2 months ago.

Code:
domain.............: poolin.fi
status.............: Registered
created............: 27.9.2020 11:19:22
expires............: 27.9.2021 11:19:22
available..........: 27.10.2021 11:19:22
modified...........: 27.9.2020

However, it seems it's a legit domain from poolin because I saw this domain from this page https://www.poolin.com/mining-instructions

Why don't you just give your IDs for verification and maybe they just want to make sure that you are the real owner of that account? Just like the above said you just mine it with your own so you don't need to be a worry or maybe you don't own this?
5185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Service Solves This Problem on: November 03, 2020, 09:04:46 PM
Thank you all for the ideas.

Just to clarify, I am kind of a paranoid weenie when it comes to large sums of money.  I would prefer more established, secure services even if it cost more in fees and wanted KYC.

I have a Trezor One and Yubikeys if necessary.

(edit)  Forgot to mention I am in the US.

Why don't you try to go directly to Binance instead?
I'm sure it's a good alternative for Coinbase and they also support yubikey.

Or you might be looking for a fast transaction instead with a debit card? With no KYC?

P2P exchange might your best bet if you are looking for no KYC check this thread for list of p2p exchanges.

5186  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: DragonMint T1 hardware reset issue on: November 03, 2020, 07:44:13 PM
Can you try to disassemble the control board to check maybe the SD card slot is inside?

In case if it's there, Braiins OS is the only firmware that I know you can flash it through an SD card but it seems Dragonmint is no longer supported by Braiins OS.

However, I found a link from Github fork that I think still has the SD card firmware that you can use to flash this miner.

Here's the Github link.

And here's the source where you can get the firmware image for the SD card.

The guide on how to flash this miner must be included from the Github link above.

If it doesn't have an SD card inside well there's no way to reflash the miner or you might end up using a Jtag to flash the whole control board.
5187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Canīt upgrade a conversionn file into the test fixture on: November 02, 2020, 07:25:22 PM
It seems he is talking about a test fixture for ASIC miners.

What file you currently have(conversion file)? Is it for s9 or t9+ or for above antminer series?

You will need to burn the file with diskimager you can donwload to available firmware from zeusBTC from this link below.

For the latest firmware that supports the latest antminer is not yet available in public but I think you can request it on Bitmain about this firmware.
5188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Anyone use a wallet on a rooted phone with custom ROM? on: November 02, 2020, 06:00:12 PM
No problem. I used to play around with it on Android 9 (or older, can't remember the details), and yeah it's basically the same thing as Windows/Linux dual-boot structure. Make sure you use a recovery like TWRP so you can restore your system if anything is wrong.
I am using TWRP for a long time now so I know where to move and how. Anyway, it's an old Galaxy S6, the battery is almost gone and I don't mind if something goes wrong along the way but that is the perfect testing ground for this purpose. I will give it a try over the next weekend and see how it goes.

Take note you will need to root the primary ROM before you were able to install it to the system partition but I don't know if after you installed the dualboot maybe you can unroot the primary while the 2nd ROM is rooted but I think the 2nd ROM will not run if the primary is not rooted. And if your device is not supported you will need to add your device manually which I think time consuming.

Anyway, if you still want to do this then there is a full guide from the XDA forum here https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/guide-dualbootpatcher-build-source-t3663076
5189  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: My Trezor is broken! on: November 01, 2020, 11:43:12 PM
~snip~

It happens to any device, not just Trezor so the USB cable might be the issue but since he bought Trezor last 2015 there is a possibility it's a hardware issue it could be the USB connector or shorted parts like capacitor or ICs.

Here's a sample of the Trezor board.

I just want to help 1GUARDIAN(And also others) if he doesn't want to buy new.

First thing, check the USB connector it might have full of dirt and rust to remove them use a brush and lacquer thinner(Or any rust cleaner, alcohol, or fluid) then test it again.

If not, you must disassemble the Trezor as shown in the image above then do this clean the ICs with brush and thinner make sure LCD is far and protected.

If it still doesn't work it might have some shorted capacitor or maybe one of the IC pins has lost contact with the board so you might need to resolder the pins to fix the issue.
5190  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Hack seed on: November 01, 2020, 11:07:26 PM
You can gather more information on Google if you try to search that question.

According to some result from Google the 2048 words pool make 11 bits of entrophy per word. So for 12 words seed phrase, it has 132 bits of entrophy and someone said that 128 bits of entrophy is considered enough as secured.

And someone said that it takes 1 million years to bruteforce or hack so 12 words seed must be secured.

Much better read the source from this link below

- Is 12-word seed phrase safe enough?

5191  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Android widget showing the BTC price? on: October 31, 2020, 12:08:19 AM
Try this one this is what I'm using since January.

To get the widget after install you must go home and touch and hold anywhere then look for a widget and find Crypto Marketcap.

This is what it looks like on my phone.

5192  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum - No Sync/Connect on: October 30, 2020, 11:42:59 PM
Have you tried to check if your date and time are set correctly?
Sometimes this issue occurs if your date in your laptop/PC is not set properly so changing it to the right time and date can be fix your issue.

You can try to sync the time under internet time to set it properly then apply.

After that restart Laptop/PC and try again.
5193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: cancel old transaction / update my blockchain? on: October 29, 2020, 09:12:10 PM
I just tried the -zapwallettxes and the full amount is now displayed in my wallet A (on my PC) again (and I doubled my networth).  Thank you guys! Now I have to find a way to store the BTC in the most safest way.

That's good because if it was broadcasted again you might lose your bitcoin because this domain "litbit.eu" it seems it's not available anymore the site leads me to a paxful site with referral.

Alternative for hardware wallet as LoyceV suggested above you can use Electrum as another option if you don't have hardware wallet yet.
Use this official Electrum site https://electrum.org/ and be careful to any fake Electrum website.

For safety verify the Electrum first before you install you can follow this guide "How to verify Electrum (for Windows, Linux and Mac)"
5194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: cancel old transaction / update my blockchain? on: October 29, 2020, 07:26:56 PM
~snip~

What do you want exactly?
Are you trying to cancel the transaction?

If you are going to update the blockchain may be the unconfirmed transaction that you made before might broadcast again. So if you don't want to send it to "wallet B" you can able to remove it from "wallet A" by following LoyceV's suggestion above it should be work.

And it's recommended to cancel or remove the transaction from your wallet if your transaction is paid with a low fee due to network congestion and we don't have any idea of what online wallet you used with "wallet B"?
5195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to Identify Scammers BTC wallet company from a Wallet address on: October 29, 2020, 06:19:27 PM
You won't be able to find the owner/company of that address if it was generated from non-custodial wallets there's no way to know the name of the scammer or if where he generated that wallet address.

Try to use a tool like this https://btc.com/ (maybe the wallet address of that scammer is also here on the forum.)
Then paste the wallet address to search then look for this tab(image below).

If it shows some link click that and maybe someone owns this address here on the forum so that you can report him to DT for negative trust.

You can also use this below as an alternative for btc.com

5196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Looking for some tools to work on private keys on: October 29, 2020, 05:47:57 PM
I'm not sure if it fits all your requirements, but bitcoin-tool is probably a good start. I don't want to provide a link, because I'm not sure if the Github link I find is the official one. I downloaded my copy years ago. Just to be sure: run it in a VM to protect your (offline) host.

I tried to search this tool there are many similar names but I found only one link from github that I think this is the official one.

Here's the link https://github.com/matja/bitcoin-tool
5197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Limiting bandwidth on Raspbian on: October 29, 2020, 03:40:22 PM
Also, when I type in "bitcoin-cli -getinfo", I get:
Quote
bitcoin-cli -getinfo
-bash: bitcoin-cli: command not found

even though I'm in bitcoin-cli's directory.

Likewise, when I type in "./bitcoin-cli -getinfo", I get:
Quote
error: Could not locate RPC credentials. No authentication cookie could be found, and RPC password is not set.  See -rpcpassword and -stdinrpcpass.  Configuration file: (/home/pi/.bitcoin/bitcoin.conf)

whereas this worked fine on the last version that I was using (18 dot something)

It seems this "-getinfo" command was removed last 2017 according to this post from Bitcoin github below.

And they replace it with this commands below.

Code:
getblockchaininfo
getmempoolinfo
gettxoutsetinfo
getmemoryinfo ("mode")
getmininginfo
getaddednodeinfo ( "node" )
getnetworkinfo
getpeerinfo
getwalletinfo

I don't see any reason of removing it but according to them keeping it is messy and they just want to cleanup the RPC codes.
Look at this post below as it gives you more insight why they removed this command.
5198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Import multiple privkeys in CLI as a GUI on: October 27, 2020, 10:46:26 PM
Can you try to use this command below.

Code:
electrum importprivkey :

If it doesn't work use the help command instead to find the right command.

Code:
electrum help importprivkey

Adding this I just found this from old post and it might be work on CLI.

Code:
importprivkey("pasteyourprivkeyhere")

If any the command above doesn't work try not to include the "electrum" or try this commands.

Code:
electrum restore -w walletname "yourprivatekey"

with password.
Code:
electrum importprivkey -w walletname -W yourpass "yourprivatekey"
5199  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: October 27, 2020, 10:27:34 PM
Chipmixer.com was briefly down for a few minutes just now. I got this error when entering the URL:

Did the site undergo regular maintenance or was this an unexpected error? Highly leans towards an unexpected error because as soon as I finished this post the site was back up again.
Try using their onion tor link when you want to mix your coins: Tor link: http://chipmixerwzxtzbw.onion/
I think main clearnet website is constantly under ddos attacks, and this things are possible for few seconds.
I prefer using CM with my electrum Wink but thats another story

Chipmixer.com is fine I can access it without that error.

Sometimes it was a DDOS attack but sometimes due to the DNS problem he must need to clear the DNS cache to get the most recent cache from ISP or changing DNS with Google or cloudflare DNS might solve his issue.
5200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: This ones really got me stumped on: October 27, 2020, 08:19:02 PM
Such a big fee but it still stuck? It should be confirmed fast since you paid a high fee.

It seems a series of unconfirmed transactions.

This transaction https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/93034a0b165482f8d0725f51b51da1b7186561807cdc263092f48af08a1f44bf

Is where your BTC from before your new transaction which is still not confirmed but the fee should be enough to confirm in a few hours.

Do you have control of these addresses below?

Code:
1QByDb2yWiCAWLBKaJoa8yEoomDbLJeWEQ
19uxgZXZMVRqdqxFxPXJfr4NTnerpaVaYi

If you have full control of these addresses you can still make a double-spend transaction.

If not, try to push that transaction first use the free accelerator from here https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/

Ow, it seems this address 1QByDb2yWiCAWLBKaJoa8yEoomDbLJeWEQ is the reason why your transaction still stuck, it has some transaction with very low fee and most of inputs are unconfirm yet.
