5181  Economy / Services / Re: Did you forget your wallet password? on: August 11, 2019, 12:18:00 PM
Why you did not click in link posted by TryNinja and check for answer on that site? It's quite logical that 20% or any other number would be fee that service will take from decrypted wallet. Problems with such services is not that fee, but fact that you need to trust someone unknown - but walletrecoveryservices has proven reliable so far, we have many happy users who managed to reach their funds for a pretty decent price of service.
I didn't check the link specifically because it's a website, I'm just not a fan of just visiting websites that I do not know of yet, maybe if it's part of the forum, then I would have checked. Thank you for clarifying it too. I do see a lot of testimonials so it is a great service. I'm just not sure with the 50/50 part on the OP's service though, too much and quite new.
5182  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Hardware wallets still aren't secure, and they never will be. Use paper wallets on: August 11, 2019, 08:54:27 AM
But if my leather wallet is empty, it's not like I'm going to get shot because they think I have $1000 stored somewhere else on my person. The mugger would run away.
Sure, but physical attacks with the aim of stealing bitcoin aren't happening by approaching random people on the street in the spur of the moment. The attack is targeted and planned, and the attacker usually knows the victim is holding a significant amount of bitcoin. Often they are home invasions, or fake meetups under the pretense of trading. If you initially refuse to hand over any bitcoin or wallet details, the attacker is unlikely to just say "Oh well" and leave.
What if this happens: Everybody in the world now uses cryptocurrency, whether it's bitcoin or not, it's widely applied. For sure there are criminals lurking and attacking innocent people. We are definitely not there yet but who knows, it's a great thing to think about. Imagine the move "In Time". Where time was the currency, but it's cryptocurrency. Or maybe it's the blockchain they are using? Lol
5183  Economy / Services / Re: Did you forget your wallet password? on: August 11, 2019, 06:06:01 AM
I'm just curious about wallet services. I don't plan on using them, but it's good to know that there is the thing.

Anyway, my question is, 50% of what? Or with TryNinja's post 20%, 20% of the balance that is in the wallet? I'm just not sure what percentage would it be deducted from.
5184  Other / Off-topic / Re: [DISCUSSION] The Story of your Username on: August 09, 2019, 02:55:43 PM
~snip So: Google > random name generator > Loyce Valenzuela > Sounds like Venezuela, sounds good, I like it!
I haven't thought about that. That's one perfect way of knowing what type of username you could use online. It's my first encounter knowing the name Loyce and didn't expect to encounter it too. I didn't know that black girls are named Loyce. I quickly searched what pictures would show in Google searching for Loyce Valenzuela, and it showed men and women. Lol.

Are you sure this is topic for meta?
Isn't it a part of the forum that could be discussed? If it moves, then it's okay for me but I think it could stay.

Daniel is one of the derivatives of my name and it has a very interesting meaning in Hebrew: ''God is judging'' Smiley
I did a quick search in google too "God is judging name" and in the pictures, there is the name Daniel. Which is nice also. Hmm, maybe it's close to you too. A Biblical name if you will? For sure you are better now after so many years have passed. Awesome name. Thanks for sharing too.
5185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [LIMITED LICENSES] BitRAGE - Automatic Arbitrage Bot by Gunthar | Gunbot on: August 09, 2019, 02:44:40 PM
Arbitrage is a great trading strategy.

Imagine being able to safely trade with different currencies that give possible profit trades without having to "risk" any balance that you have. Better than that, a bot could do it for you. Automatically. Less hassle and great opportunities, 24/7.

Bitrage could give you different opportunities to profit

  • Making opportunities by putting limit trades that would be profitable
  • Executing a trading opportunity as fast as possible
  • And so much more

If you have any question regarding this software, you could easily give me a private message here or in Telegram

And be Part of the Gunbot Family~!

Maybe this is too much to ask? I don't know, maybe members can share on what grounds they could've picked or it's too personal to tell?

Let's find out in a matter of weeks. I'll be locking this if no one is interested.
5187  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the benefits of bitcoin to my country (Nigeria) economy?. on: August 09, 2019, 11:57:37 AM
I’m not sure about the situation in the Nigerian economy, but I know for sure that it would only give a significant effect when a lot of people are using it. Preventing the crisis with developing so much fiat for use, and the government acknowledging the use of Bitcoin.

Assuming that people start using in Nigeria, there would be a benefit in the integrity of Bitcoin Blockchain, and mostly the cryptocurrency space would increase in users. I'm just worried about how people are going to worry about the confirmation time of it, but it certainly will help people who don't have banks to receive money, and they can start their own business.
5188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: August 09, 2019, 05:30:53 AM
I agree that whenever you are talking about gambling stories, it's always what you are saying, what you experience, and what you are going to do with the winning amount in gambling, etc. It has ever been discussed in different ways, especially in the gambling discussion part. So I agree to review what comes into the mind when you win.

For me, I don't think anything comes into my mind when I win, and I know what I'm feeling, happiness. It's not a matter of what I thought about because it doesn't affect the chances I could have to win that corresponding round. Maybe in a series of poker or blackjack where you think you are counting cards, that could be the mindset or what's on my mind on that time but nothing, it's all feelings for me. After a few wins, then there comes a thought of greediness, what I'm going to buy with the money that I got.

Basically, to sum it up. No thoughts with one win, continuous winnings, what I can do with the money. Feelings of excitement and greediness, nothing more.
5189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning bitcoin is hard but i still keep fighting on: August 09, 2019, 05:18:48 AM
You forgot the most common thing that you could do too, and it's to give service to what you are good at and get paid in Bitcoin.

Imagine you are a great animator or layout creator, I would suggest that you could do something that you could get paid in Bitcoin and enjoy what you have done. You could try these steps if you want. This applies to different types of gigs.
  • Create an ANN Thread saying that you are in with this kind of gig
  • Create a layout, design, or whatever you could offer for free one time and see what your skills are
  • Wait for customers to show up and ask ratings on your work

Imagine what you could do with a skill like that. It's either you learn it and get better or wait for campaigns to show up and post. It's up to you.
5190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only a Crime Tool on: August 09, 2019, 03:01:42 AM
If criminals know how to use Bitocin they will use it. However, it will not affect the growth of criminal activity. They do their stuff with fiat with the same success. The worse thing is that with the appearance of crypto, thousands of people were already deceived by scammers - they bought fake Bitcoin. Additionally, crypto crimes with BTC have need activated.
Hmm. I'm just curious about how they transact. There must be an escrow for them because we all know that bitcoins transactions are irreversible and cannot be retracted anymore when sent. Maybe they have created some release or something with the BTC.

That's the wrong side of people, using the image of BTC to deceive. That's why it's impossible that everyone is going to use it.
5191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: August 08, 2019, 04:17:03 PM
What is your strading style? Any leverages?
I do mix with scalping and swing trading. I use cross leverage on Bitmex. Been liquidated a couple of times lol. I learned my lesson though.

Swing, counter trend sometimes. Scalping is what I do when I feel boring huh it's always fascinating and quite profitable. But here the harsh limits are necessary (I mean time limits so as not to overtrade)
Sth like that..
I think that's one of the most common mistakes, overtrading. I think we need to let ourselves focus on another thing while we trade because we might get impatient. Maybe I'm just like that or something.

As for the alts.. Yeah, for now it seems they are far behind (jst look  at the statistics)
Anyway, crypto is full of surprises, that is what I love it for
Crypto market is definitely a double-edged sword. You get cut or you will cut. Gain or lose. That's just all there is to it. Discipline is still the best key to understand and to conquer the market.
5192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you are still here for the longterm ? on: August 08, 2019, 03:31:32 PM
If we are talking about cryptocurrencies, I'm definitely for the long term. I may have lost money due to trading and gambling, but crypto, especially Bitcoin, has already been a part of my life and added to my additional income. I'm glad to have discovered and been part of this community in bitcointalk.

As long as there are ways to use Bitcoin as a way to transact, I would continue using it. I hope everyone is up for that as well.
5193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 08, 2019, 11:04:17 AM
At First, I thought this was a frequent topic where you discuss the most common things about what kind of habits that could affect your gambling efficiency or something, but it's not. It's a reasonable and realistic thing that happens with people — especially the first one where you got impatient with your withdrawal and decided to play with it again. I have experienced that, lol. I didn't have the patience, and it cost me.

5196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Winning Streak in a Dice Game on: August 08, 2019, 06:53:21 AM
That's a nice winning streak that you had, achieving that is hard knowing that every time you bet is a 50-50 chance to win. Correctly predicting that means you are definitely lucky. Probably mine is up to 5? I don't remember anymore. When you gamble, what mindset do you use? I'm curious because whenever I gamble in Dice games, it's just random thing that I do and I just hope to win, no strategy whatsoever. I doubt it's easy to replicate too. Have you tried again?
5197  Economy / Reputation / Re: Game-protect flag on: August 08, 2019, 03:08:12 AM
I was supposed to be ignoring this but I can't resist commenting this GIF.

I just can't stop laughing the fuck harder after I saw the latest reward I got from you, here:
I think all that supported the flag received that award from GP.
5198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on a dog fight? on: August 08, 2019, 02:30:32 AM
I'll agree with you if you are a vegan but if you show certain animals favoritism I think that is really unfair.  There are people that want to protect dogs but then they go and eat chickens and beef.
What do you mean favoritism? With who I would be betting? Lol. Anyways, there is no favoritism on my part, whether I'm going to eat or not, the usual only food only. I'm not vegan and I eat the common meat that we have in this world. Cows, Pigs, and Chickens are being farmed continuously unlike dogs. I don't have many sayings with that but that's the truth.

Dog fighting still happens in America and rings are still being busted.
I hope it stops. I still do think that it's Animal Cruelty.
5199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRYPTOBUYER] A Fully Working Crypto Ecosystem |Operating ATMs, Web and POS on: August 08, 2019, 02:16:37 AM
I'm one of the investors that was scammed by this company. It looks like they are preparing for an exit scam after their ICO is completed in the next few weeks. They are offering extremely high returns which is luring people.

They recently shut down their operation in Panama and defrauded several investors who had to take legal action to force a refund. Crypto is full of projects like this with great websites and plans only to shut down once they have enough money.

Any references that you could provide so that I could really check on your case? Prove it to the people so that you would be heard out. They are still on the token sale AFAIK.

I have tried investing BTC to the IEO that they provided in coineal, I didn't take any action on it ever since. It's still there, my balance. I don't know what to do with it yet.
5200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: August 08, 2019, 01:46:24 AM
Keep up as well! I'm sure you are a competent trader with good results. In this case the results are becoming better with the time and experience.
I'm trying to be a competent trader. Just waiting to have the right opportunities in the coming weeks and following some of my idols also in trading. Maybe soon, I could share with you that I have achieved something like what you have.

As for the starting capital, absolutely agree with you.  Remember times I was actively scalping to increase it.. Looks like it was in a previous life huh
So now, you are focused on swing trading? Maybe scalp a few times from now and then?

As for alts used for BTC.. interesting idea. Ia it would be used, I won't be against at all  Wink
Basically, personally I see a great potential in BTC not only as in a means of trading speculations. But also in a wise investment thing. The time will show us the opportunities with it. But the timeline os still so blurred
I can't seem to see the future with alts overtaking BTC, I don't think it would be that easy too. Some alts are a long way to go too. Let's see what's next in the coming weeks.
