521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government announce bitcoin is illegal? on: September 03, 2018, 01:36:16 PM
You can't expect them to approved something they can't control

Agreed this is their problem with bitcoin they can't seem to track and control it. Unlike fiat where they can easily reproduce if they feel like the county needs it. Not considering what will be the effect worldwide.
522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Eminem's New Song [Album] mentions Bitcoin :D on: September 03, 2018, 01:32:53 PM
Great. More publicity. *evil laugh*

Though it was just a very short mention, it's still significant knowing Eminem is one of the biggest names(if not the biggest) in the rap scene or hip-hop music in general. Hopefully this at least gets some of the Slim Shady fans curious.

Right, I hope that goes to their deepest subconscious mind that it pushes them to google it. And hopefully, they understand the idea of it.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will keep people from getting into cryptocurrency? on: September 03, 2018, 01:29:47 PM
I thought about the unpredictability of bitcoin and its current status and it made me realized that this might drive people away from getting into cryptocurrency. What do you think are the other reasons that will keep people from using bitcoin?

If bitcoin would be easy for them to understand then it will not be a problem. I think the reason if people or even someone ever stick to a technology or a thing is if they know how it works and the idea behind it.

A not ordinary salesman knows that people buy the idea, not the product.
524  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin and Taxes on: September 02, 2018, 02:17:13 PM
Our society needs taxes. We felt like taxes are big because of the middle-man in everything we use and eat. Taxes double then. Why do we have to avoid taxes though?
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Average time for a bounty project on: September 01, 2018, 02:39:32 PM
Today there are many different bounty projects. Time for projects is also different. According to you, how many time the most appropriate for a bounty project?

This depends actually on how much funds they had collected. You wouldn't want to receive coins that have no value, or even worst to wait for it to have value endlessly with the token just sitting right there.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO price and Listing price on: September 01, 2018, 02:37:20 PM
If the project is really profitable and good this would not be a problem. Bounty hunters hold only the smallest percentage in the whole pool. If a project dumps with small movement then maybe it is not yet ready to be traded.

Should have locked the token to protect investors and even holders like hunters. (I mean they will be forced to hold because it is locked)
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we protect ourselves from scam? on: September 01, 2018, 02:28:55 PM
The crypto world is so vast and they are interest from all continents of the world. Some investors / projects came with good intentions to make the world a better place while some to defraud investors and projects founder. Can we have a better way correct scam and lapses?

There is a difference between scam project and the not successful ones. Scam projects are hard to detect and also the non-successful ones because we don't know yet really if they will be a success.

Scam projects nowadays are detectable, somehow, you can easily ask for a document and they will not be easy to show it. To scan for possible successful project just check out the team behind it. Check the teams experiences.
528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why the SEC will keep on rejecting Bitcoin ETF on: September 01, 2018, 02:11:44 PM
We can still have bitcoin pumped without ETF, consider ETF as a bonus for us having bitcoin popular and pumped.
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hacking Bitcoin,How Possible? on: August 31, 2018, 01:18:30 PM
But the point is that the option to run a full node to control one’s own digital financial sovereignty is always there through the use of open source software

What do you actually mean by this? A full node can control the sovereignity of all? I think you need to rephrase this, don't you think?
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Property? What might be the best investment? on: August 31, 2018, 01:11:01 PM
Why not do both? Isn't it possible? put let's say 30%-40% on investments like bitcoin, 20% might do for it is not sure to go up. Ang put more in the property as it will surely suffice needs.
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yahoo Finance Integrates Bitcoin, and Ethereum Trading on: August 30, 2018, 02:04:11 PM
Works like an exchange is this allowed for US citizens? The US had few trusted exchanges and this might add to their list.

533  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I get started anonymously? on: August 28, 2018, 12:53:07 PM
If you wanted to use your debit cards then you will surely need to supply your identity to them. I would suggest, well since you are here, to use crypto. There are stores that accept crypto payments online. You can trade that item bought in exchange for real cash, try it with a friend.
534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thread : HOW TO PROTECT YOURS BITCOIN & ALTCOINS ! on: August 27, 2018, 12:31:29 PM
I bought Ledger Wallet when I reached about 200 usd on my investments. Because that for me is a huge amount. But that doesn't mean that I will not use Desktop wallets or access my funds using a browser.

Use any way you think you can be safe. Just be cautious on processing a transaction and you will be safe.

I still have some funds on my old password protected winrar archive I used before I had Ledger. And I still use it to store funds. It's in the matter of how knowledgeable you are about security.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legal ransomware ? on: August 27, 2018, 12:22:34 PM

Why need this if you can use winrar? Winrar encrypts and secure files greatly and the fun fact is you hold the password. No need to pay even a cent.

Your idea is good for one or two persons you already know, but what about sharing it over the internet ? How will you manage to get your payment ? Here come sych innovative service ... if someone pay to decrypt your archive, you will receive instantly your payment.

Thank you for the clarification. Then this is a good idea, especially if you're dealing with a person you don't want to have a connection with but you would want to give services for payment. This is great for securing that the transaction will happen for both parties.

537  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase got hacked??? on: August 26, 2018, 01:17:24 PM
Is it possible to withdraw funds on Coinbase without a confirmation email? I haven't used Coinbase before, because it is not allowed yet in my country, but Hitbtc works email me first to confirm withdrawal before they release it.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who sells BTC now? on: August 25, 2018, 02:08:48 PM
If I lost only 20% I would have shifted to another coin that is an uprising. But the problem nowadays is that even other cryptocurrency is red. So I bet I will hold and acquire other coins that are up trending.
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which country trades the most bitcoin on: August 25, 2018, 01:56:46 PM
I'm glad that bitcoin is still traded and is worth 1.44 billion in the number 1 country in the world USA.

Note, that the 1.44 billion $ is the trading volume from USA on localbitcoins.
This is - by far - not the overall trading volume.

You can view the daily volume here: https://data.bitcoinity.org/markets/volume/30d.
Yesterday, within 24 hours, about 160k BTC were traded (about 1.031.200.000 $ with 1 BTC being worth 6445$).

Localbitcoins trading volume is relatively small compared to those from centralized exchanges.

Thanks for the clarification. 1 Billion, great.

I also would like to use an exchange that is decentralized less comprehension regards my identity the better.
540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: August 23, 2018, 02:34:51 PM
Quote
Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles;
there is a simple explanation for it, people don't care about altcoins!

We care. Altcoins at its start, they give real profits, they are the most speculative in this time where bitcoin is on-going correction.
