It is almost shocking how the entire cryto world is changing in the last months. Ideed, many of us missed our chance on bitcoin, but there are still plenty of opportunities, so be aware. I just invested in BTG, hope it will follow its big brother BTC and climb. Still, it is wise to keep on eye on the news and see what is happening inside the crypto world around the world, these new can really influence our coins.
I jumped on btg then it fallen to its 150 low, super happy Smiley

Yea BTG is doing quite well better than I was expecting mining profits are very high I think it's currently the most profitable coin right now

Is it profitable to mine with AMD RX470/570, or better with Nvidia?

Nvidia is better at equihash but AMD cards work well too a RX480/580 will get around 320sols/s or at least that's what I get per card I still have some R9 280x and these do about 280 but use more power

I was getting around 0.08BTG from 6x480s but this has dropped quite a bit since the value has shot up

I assume that was 0.08 BTG per day?  Impressive.  Been thinking between BTG and BTX, not sure which is more profitable for 470 mining.  Thanks for the info.

Yeah BTG but that was when it was cheap now it's nearer $300 I'm looking at closer to 0.03 to 0.04 a day

Bitcoin Gold Wallet Scam Nets $3 Million in Illicit Earnings     Huh Shocked Shocked

More than $3.3 million has been stolen as part of an elaborate scam that took advantage of bitcoin users seeking to claim their share of the newly created cryptocurrency bitcoin gold.

"This only happened with bitcoin gold. It's a very interesting fork ... I think it's extremely unfortunate that new investors, people who know little about crypto, started buying into it."

This only happened due to the success of everyone rushing to sell their bcash without much thought of safety going forward with new forks will probably see more and more scams unfold teaching users in hard way to think before going forward

Good news Bitfinex is enable the deposit for all investors great future is coming soon. Just hodl price will move to the moon because it's better than BCH. This thread has not trolls to spread fake news.

There are plenty of trolls spreading fake news just not as many

Btg QT fully synced! Only to find out that one (I have 80) private key takes forever to Scan..and yeah it's a 32 core xeon so power is there. What the hell Should I Do?

Fml..

You could batch them and use bgold-cli it wont be any quicker but you could just set it to run and it will do them all automatic

the quickest way would probably be to use coinomi as it will be instant just sweep every key and then sent the whole balance where you want it
I presume the keys only contain BTG and no BTC anymore

BCHC Bitcoin Cash Classic forked at block 504032 look at this thread and claim your free coins. Even it's fun but not bad to get some free money.

This didn't fork this is the real bitcoin cash BCH forked from BCHC

Any android wallet yet. Hope will arrive soon

Coinomi works perfect on my device this is trusted wallet to store this coin. I'm using this wallet to claim for all fork this good choice to for any coin at the moment so you can use this wallet as Android.

So it should fine to claim both BCH and BTG with Coinomi?
I have claimed neither one of them yet. I just wanna wait until it is 100% safe.

It will never be 100% safe when you need to use your private key in 3rd party software that is out of your control. Before doing anything, always move your BTC first.
Then you can claim with Coinomi, but anyway I'd do it for transfering the coins to exchange (if you want to sell it), or to other wallet (if you just want to split).

When I used Trezor's Bitcoin Gold claiming service, they did not sweep my BTC to another address. I hope I am safe. Huh

Yes TREZOR is safe your keys never leave the device so no chance of being stolen

I keep seeing this crap that the miners are just staying until after this period when the difficulty will go up then leave it stranded problem is the difficulty is scheduled to go down ~1-2% and the best chance you all had to leave it stranded was with the EDA this has now gone and the new DAA actually protects the core chain from miners switching due to its rapid difficulty increase

530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 23, 2017, 07:27:34 AM
BCH is pumping yet the miners are not jumping can anyone tell me why... anyone... ok ill tell you

They know its artificial and wont last so why waste resources mining at a higher difficulty for less profit after it crashes and the pumpers cash out again

531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 23, 2017, 06:28:39 AM
BCH is pumping. Tell me the reason?

The oldest and largest cryptocurrency exchange in Europe, Bitstamp, plans to list #BitcoinCash trading pairs at the end of November or early December. $BCH
Guys, take popcorn  and watch the performance of BCH, act №2. What do you think what will be the High? How low bitcoin will drop?  Cry

3500 BCH retract to 2000===> then flippening 4600
4600 BTC Grow to 9000====> then flippening 3500

Yeah alright that's not gonna happen but keep wishing

Hi guys,
I wonder myself why developer started the topic for a little bit long time ago. Since then, he/ her only post only one more post. You can check it, by now his or her current activities are two. Is it strange?

I don't think the developer didn't start this thread they started a different one it's just this is the one everyone uses because it was first

Shutting down? Are you serious? LOL

Yep, Bitcoin announced it will close its doors Cheesy What a wonderful question Cheesy

More chance of bcash shutting down

534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 22, 2017, 08:38:54 PM

in 320 Blocks the Difficulty of BTC will increase and this will be disastrous. Its called Operation Dragon Slayer(starting) and prices should be moving north for a quick profit.

Regardless don't put any money in you are not willing to lose. I bought at 352. Ill sell to recoup my original purchase at 3000 a few and HODL until 500,000-1mm

Good Luck and watch out for the Trolls here.

You seem clueless the BTC difficulty will be almost the same if not down a bit this will make no difference at all and if the BTC difficulty was to raise by say 400% then BCH would see a big influx of miners and the new DAA you just forked to would raise the difficulty on BCH so fast that BCH would be no more profitable than BTC after half a day

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/assets/difficulty/bitcoin-hash_rate-all-s.png?1511382605

And what relevance does that have to the next adjustment period ?

Like I said the next period the difficulty should drop this makes BTC more profitable but it will just be a tiny amount somewhere around 1% and not noticeable

So what are your predictions of what will happen in the next 306 blocks with your "operation dragon slayer" ?  what will this cause to happen

Sorry if this in not relevant. I need some information.. I'm completely new here because my friend is making me excited about Bitcoin. He invested a lot last year and he's making money every month. Now I want to get in too, but Bitcoin is just too much for me. So I saw Bitcoin Cash and like it. Can this be just as expensive as Bitcoin is now? Thank youuu  Roll Eyes

Historically it's been on a downward trend with the odd pump that keep the value up if you have to ask these questions then you will loose money

Anyone know why the Windows wallet keeps getting blocked by Malwarbytes, is there a work around for this?

are you using this one https://bitcoingold.org/#features?

https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/53e01dd7366e87fb920645b29541f8487f6f9eec233cbb43032c60c0398fc9fa/detection
Yep that is the one.

Why would they release a wallet without first checking its virus status.   Dumb.

i think they are false positive i see them many times in many wallet

I downloaded the exe, virus checked it (mcafee) ran it then virus checked the qt exe with no problems found.
Sync'ed the wallet then imported my BTC private key from a now empty BTC address. Once in the wallet, moved
the BTG to a fresh BTG address.

Subsequently sent a few to Bittrex, no problems experienced.

Did you scan it with Malwarbytes?

It has a coin miner in it, and I am pretty sure it is not used for staking purposes.

The name of the coin miner is riskware.bitcoinminer and it is a trojan.

https://www.howtoremoveit.info/remove-riskware-bitcoinminer-trojan/

This is normal it is not mining though but used for mining how do you think all the miners connect to the network to do the mining this software is also used as the backend for pools etc to get work and submit work from the miners it's not just a wallet it's a full node

Operation Dragon Slayer in another 384 blocks or 3.3 days In other Words its gonna be a Black Friday Special!  Grin

You do realise that there will be no fast hyper round you all forked off and left that period of profitability behind the bitcoin difficulty should drop making bitcoin even more profitable (~1% more) I don't know what you are looking at but it's clearly wrong or you are reading it wrong
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 22, 2017, 03:28:46 AM
Anyone know when the next BCH pump n dump is scheduled to begin? Want to make sure I sell at the top this time and grab some more bitcoin.

Thanks!
it's usually the weekend when the volume is low.looks like btg is catching up

But this weekend disappointed a lot people who were expecting big pump will happen and they get another chance nothing happened price and volume both were low. I think only insiders know about that.

in 3.5 days the BTC difficulty will go up and this will start to be like what BCH did in the beginning.

You mean miners back to BCH and price pump for BCH in 3.5 days?

No because BTC has DA every 2016 blocks it will start to act like BCH did in the beginning with the wild difficulty swings.

That won't happen the DAA fork of BCH was to correct this and was been somewhat successful not 100% it's still broken bit 100x better than before
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Gold : Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again on: November 22, 2017, 12:07:25 AM

BTG in its rightful place thanks to editing HTML lol

A few more hours/days and I'm sure CMC will update, not really sure why they haven't currently. Expecting whales to cause a liftoff when this happens really, a few more pumps to make money off the noobs are going to happen, before the colossal dump.

I doubt Coinmarketcap will update anytime soon and it will probably fall a lot lower..

I hope it does stay down longer then I can accumulate more much cheaper lol
