521  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will the fork lead to? on: October 25, 2017, 01:40:28 PM
I think people will be more interested in digital currencies. The start of new coins always attracts newcomers, it's like they are given a fresh start. Though we know that only few coins successfully achieved or maintained popularity and adaptation. New coins for old users always have trust issues. Maybe it will depend on its characteristics which will be its advantage from bitcoin. Still experimentation will happen and when it failed then it will die as well.
Back to bitcoin and boom doubled or tripled.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins is pumping, should i buy some or wait? on: October 25, 2017, 01:26:37 PM
I would prefer to stay in bitcoin. Buy bitcoin when it goes down. Yeah maybe altcoin can be profitable now but I would choose for a long term one. Choosing a good alt is quite an experiment.  If you are having that much and wanting to invest in altcoins then I would recommend just one- eight of it. In addition, I think you are just attracted by the pump but you see altcoins are for short term profits. I would still go for bitcoin. Wait for it to go down then buy, once it goes up it would be huge.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australia moves to regulate the bitcoin is it good or bad ? on: October 24, 2017, 10:35:07 PM
The way I see it, regulation is give and take. The good is that you won't have to worry that Bitcoin will be banned, you may actually ask for legal help should you get victimized, and proper regulations can help ease the average joe's jitters over Bitcoin. These advantages can't come without a price, of course, and the price is a little liberty, and some taxes.

In Australia's case, specifically, it simply looks like the government will require exchanges to ask for identification. Most exchanges already do this anyway, so I don't think it's a bad thing at all, unless you're actually dealing with illegal stuff with Bitcoin. I would welcome this in a heartbeat, knowing the alternative is an outright ban.

Good point. The fear from banning bitcoin will disappear once we know that it is accepted by the government through regulation.
But will it be possible that a country will still ban bitcoin even if it is already regulated ? For example, too much crime involved ?
In the country where I am from, banks accept btc. Still I fear of the instances where it can be banned.
524  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What happened to the Campaign.? on: October 24, 2017, 10:19:18 PM
Yeah, I think I'm done with campaigns paying at the end of an ICO or more weeks before payment. Long waits like that seems to be regretful.
And probably with more trusted manager will be better.
I still look for good projects to promote, I think that Sebeum was a project that I did not think about before entering. Yet still I am thankful that I am one of the participants accepted. I just hope that there will be updated soon.
525  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin unstoppable now on: October 23, 2017, 08:09:22 AM

It's an advantage for us users and holders in my opinion. The continuous use and wider acceptances of bitcoin in different services will definitely make bitcoin more secured in investments. The implementation in tourism and travel is a huge step but very wise indeed. Bitcoin will certainly be reliable as payment and surely it will be more trusted and no one can stop it's use now.
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where do I place 100k? on: October 23, 2017, 07:00:39 AM
It's a pretty big amount. Do not gamble in ICOs or alts. Put full amount on serious coins like bitcoin and ethereum and just wait some years.
I think it should be better if OP buys it during in dip of bitcoin so he will get more bitcoin rather than buying right now. When bitcoin is still on its highest peak. After OP bought or invest his money into bitcoin or any other altscoins but i highly do recommend that NEVER invest your full money on altcoins. Some of the altcoins are easily going to dump their coins while leaving those investors unaware about of what happen to their invested items.

I could not agree more Sir, surely that is the best decision that he could possibly do with that kind of money. And I do agree that bitcoin is the best investment when it comes to digital assets instead of altcoins. Holding that kind of money will be safer in long term if you buy bitcoins. Also, with bitcoins being held is already profitable. You will have a win-win situation in investigation g that money.. Just do make sure that you will buy bitcoins in his highest peak. Already have a profit waiting for you.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: October 23, 2017, 06:51:00 AM
Of course it does. Every cent of income makes sense especially to those who have nothing to depend on when it comes to financial resources. A small investment may give a small profit but if you try to save it can mean so much more than just a small income..
Also, in my opinion, I think with bitcoin growing every week , a small investment may be a fortune in the near future. Saving can make us see how small investments are worth the wait.

533  Economy / Service Discussion / What happened to the Campaign.? on: October 20, 2017, 06:30:58 AM
I don't know where exactly to out this. I just need clarifying answer.
What happened to Sebeum campaign ?
The manager just pmed me and said he just need to end the campaign.
I replied why and how about the payments for 3 weeks but he hasn't answered yet.
Since the thread was locked, I made a thread here..
I don't have any intention of ruining someone's reputation. I just need some answers.
I don't know if I am the only one curious about this.
534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trace Mayer Predicts Bitcoin Will Hit $27,395 USD By February 2018 on: October 19, 2017, 09:45:29 PM
I think that it is too much for a prediction. Before, when the first for happened, the prices recovered in weeks and doubled the price of bitcoin in two months. If fork will happen I think it will be recovering within weeks also or even earlier. February seems to be a good prediction of a price hike but $27.395k is quite big, a doubled price as expected. But yes I do agree that if there will be information like this more people will invest and that would contribute to the earlier increase in bitcoin price.
535  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Growing transaction volume in the Philippines on: October 19, 2017, 02:20:42 PM
It's good news that there are positive feedbacks about bitcoins. These feedbacks may help the further spread or better development of it not just inside the country but also with connection to the continuous updates globally.
Well, in the Philippines, there are so many issueses that are being encountered today. Wars, drugs, still corruption and laundering.  I just hope that the decentralisation with the regulation of the banks will not take advantage of bitcoin. And I know that there are more possibilities of case of criminality but I wish that government would have resolutions for this to save the reputation of bitcoin.
536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Just Had Its Biggest Drop in a Month on: October 19, 2017, 01:08:49 PM
Well it was a quite big drop but still I do not consider this as a terrible thing. I knew bitcoin with about 2.5k and 5k is really amazing thing to experience.
Yes I do agree that fluctuations are a bit weird not knowing exact reasons. Maybe by the massive resolutions and development, adaptation of users is gradually increasing causing this reactions or effect in prices.
537  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which will be the real Bitcoin after november? on: October 19, 2017, 08:53:38 AM
Bitcoin will stay bitcoin. Forks may say that splitting of bitcoin to form another altcoins but it will never affect its popularity. Cryptocoins are racing for the highest place in cryptoworld. But I think there is no need to worry, another coin will eventually test another's trust to new coins.  If bitcoin gold will not gain enough investors then it will be probably dead too like the first one bitcoin cash.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use BTC as a digital currency for paying online ? on: October 19, 2017, 08:07:29 AM
I haven't tried it yet but there are stores that are advertised giving information that they are on the process of accepting bitcoin as payment.
But I am not really into spending it online. Still there are trust issues that are needed to have more transparent informations and transactions.
539  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: October 19, 2017, 07:58:14 AM
I agree that some people think that bitcoin will turn into nothing not realizing that they earned huge amount of money within the time bitcoin started until now.
They still say that it will be a bubble or dead but I can say that from the very start, bitcoin is indeed a blessing either you used it for a short time or long time.
Even if bitcoin turned to zero value ( not praying or anything, just citing an example ), I know that it is not a bubble or just a value that disappeared.  I hope that they see it that way too.
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or do the smartest people all still support bitcoin? on: October 19, 2017, 05:08:02 AM
Well as you have said, they are smart people. So supporting bitcoin is wise than supporting alts.
Well, I have no doubt. Expert users and supporters would probably know what will be the best way to invest, and how do things work here.
Of course those geniuses will have to explain to other users in a simple way and terms for us to understand.
I do hope that these supporters will continue and will not get tired of sharing thoughts and trends to us.
