Just wondering, did you ask for express shipping?
Because if he shipped them today it would be extremely fast delivery to get them on Monday.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best site to trade alt coins with BTC on: November 29, 2013, 01:12:23 PM
Depends on the exchange rate. Most of the times I pick cryptsy because it is easy to do everything there haha, and they have a lot of altcoins

Exchange rate did not diff that much when I checked the sites yesterday.
Maybe you could earn a living by arbitrage on these sites?

Cryptsy, awesome support staff and they trade almost everything there.  Been trading there since it opened back in May.

What about fees? Do you have to be a member to view them?
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Best site to trade alt coins with BTC on: November 28, 2013, 03:27:00 PM
Has anyone compared fees etc?

Cryptsy, BTC-E or Crypto-Trade?

Which one do you use and why?

524  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] CoiningSolutions.com HashFast Shares ฿2.5 = 20GH/s [CLOSED] on: November 27, 2013, 12:47:48 AM
What happens if HashFast actually do deliver around 31st December.
Will the miners not give positive ROI?
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff vs. Stefan Molyneux - Gold v. Bitcoin Debate (video) on: November 26, 2013, 10:22:52 PM
I liked it, I thought Schiff had a few good arguments. But of course he's biased when it comes to Bitcoin vs Gold. Bitcoin vs fiat however....

I do think that Stefan should have made some more points on why BTC has a value.
One of the things that makes BTC valuable is in fact that it has proven it's ability to resist government involvement and regulation. (SR, anonymous OTC trading to name a few)
He should have mentioned SR/dark net to Schiff, would have been fun to see his reaction.

528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So you want to buy a house. Now what? on: November 23, 2013, 05:39:48 PM
Well it's possible to do with 3 people trading 5k intervals.
But then it would take around 16 trades per guy.
529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So you want to buy a house. Now what? on: November 23, 2013, 03:08:56 AM
Say you wanna buy a house for 250k.

Hire 10 runners and pay them a fee of 10%.
Every "runner" will trade your bitcoins on localbitcoins and get cash for it.

This way you won't attract too much attention, especially if you ask the runners to do multiple trades. (maybe 5K each trade?)

Only problem remaining is getting the people selling the house to accept cash.

Yes, and I have 100% confidence in him. Check his KnCMiner thread, he has made several dividends since he got the miners.

However I'm also worried about HashFast, I didn't trust them from the beginning and I certainly don't trust them now.
But it's currently not much we can do. AFAIK no one has received a refund yet.

Jesus, guy is offline for a few days and you guys freak out...

533  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Places to sell bitcoins withotu documents? on: November 21, 2013, 02:46:17 PM
I live in the Netherlands and I mostly use Bitonic.nl . Up till now I've always recieved great service there. Their price can be a little steep sometimes, though, since they use a weighted price to trade with. Bitonic trades with anyone that has a Bank Account with an IBAN number, which means all of the EU.

Any change of getting them to add English?

534  Economy / Securities / Re: [ANN] Crypto-Trade now allowing users to create their own securities! on: November 20, 2013, 03:45:24 PM
US operators?, best of luck.  Smiley

Well server is in Belize and contact info is for a buidling in HK.
But I still want confirmation from the people behind the site.
535  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Places to sell bitcoins withotu documents? on: November 20, 2013, 03:42:00 PM
I live in europe and have used BTC-E in the past with great success.

BTC-E requires documents, no?
536  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Places to sell bitcoins withotu documents? on: November 20, 2013, 12:24:49 AM
Bitkonan doesn't require ID.

Have you used Bitknoan personally?  Anyone can attest to them?

Sorry never got around to try it since there was so little volume on the site. And now BTC is too volatile for me.
I'm mainly interested in buying LTC now.
537  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things I should know about localbitcoins? on: November 18, 2013, 07:05:39 PM

@forevernoob
First confirmation is enough, no way back so no need to wait all six.
Don't go alone if it's bigger amount.

Sometimes 1 confirmation can take a few minutes. Kinda of awkward having to wait around I would think.
Do you up the TX fee or how do you deal with this?

538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things I should know about localbitcoins? on: November 18, 2013, 04:58:07 PM
What's it like trading face to face?
Do you have to wait for six confirmations?

And what's to stop a guy from just taking the cash and running away?
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AMD R9 290X? on: November 18, 2013, 12:08:57 PM
Well, water block & custom cooling is expensive. I rather wait for retail release with after market cooling.

If you are going too use these only for mining you would want them as cheap as possible IMO.
540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Places to sell bitcoins withotu documents? on: November 17, 2013, 05:10:29 PM
Bitkonan doesn't require ID.
