We had a few questions about the recent news around the State of Massachusetts Secretary of State's office action against Caviar. The nature of their complaint states that an agent at the Secretary of State's office was able to participate in Caviar's ICO with a fake passport, and that Caviar was not doing enough to screen participants and ensure that no residents of the State of MA could participate.
As most of you are aware, Caviar's position has always been to not accept any contributors from the US and the Cayman Islands, the team has been very upfront on this from the very start. Caviar is a Cayman Islands registered company, run by a team from various states and countries. Caviar's whitepaper, website and KYC are all designed to prevent residents of US and Cayman Islands from participating, and we take this very seriously.
We are very disappointed by this action, we do not feel anyone in the State of MA has been harmed. Out legal team is working on a response, we hope to have a meaningful dialogue with the Secretary and resolve this matter.

If I remember correctly, Buterin generally advised not to install a hard cap. Collect money as much as investors are willing to invest. Who is right? Hard to say.
Not every project is suitable for such a fund-raising model. If you create something infrastructure like a means of payment, then you can scale as much as you like, and collecting funds for example on a messenger is foolish to go beyond some maximum. Controversial analogies - I heard that the Telegram ICO is going to collect some fantastic sums already at the privat sale stage. As far as I know Durov does not comment on this IСO, it's probably just a PR move to attract more money! Personally, I do not like this idea very much, practice shows that projects with smaller amounts are much better implemented in the future! Thursday, 25.I.2018, we asked MWAT holders “Where would you rather have MWAT tokens listed first?”, and the results are in: 81.9% voted for large exchanges, while 18.1% voted for smaller exchanges.
We will thusly be focusing our efforts on listing MWAT on larger exchanges first. To this end, we are already in advanced talks with some exchanges and will keep you up to date regarding the listing process; however, we can not disclose more at this point in time.

Buy it ...its cheap right noe....Till u accumulate below $5, ita cheap... Next time it shoot up , it wont fall below $15-18.
Can you share analysis which make you believe price will shoot up to that range. I think this really hard to predict like this for short term I also have that token but if we have goal for long term than it will work nice. For such high-profile words, it is desirable to confirm it! I'm not used to believing in the word? Can you have a link to this analysis or article? |
