521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are meme tokens dangerous or moon on: June 24, 2021, 08:18:17 AM
This is a thread where we will discuss meme tokens that are unrugable and which can moon. We will detail steps to avoid being scammed. We will discuss signs that a token is going to moon. We will give updates on our offical meme token Jomon Shiba aka $JSHIBA.
Anything that has to do with meme coins is out for me. I don't care how much it was pumped and how much people made from it that is the same way it will be dumped quickly, that wasn't any real investment. That was just an avenue for most to get recked quick and I am not with it.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right time is now! on: June 24, 2021, 08:12:57 AM
I would not invest now, I think the pum now is very weak.

Maybe we will reach 30k soon and now if the pum+ would be stronger with BTC.

But still there are risks of loss, but I would trust ETH, BNB, LINK, DOGE, XRP.
Is this the same $30k Bitcoin price the market is recovering from? I guess you didn't remember to buy when it first got to $30k them or maybe you want to buy more at $30k again  Huh

This is why the OP is right in the sense that most will complain when they can no longer buy in wishing they had bought when it was down because we were always waiting for more dips.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl is not the best option as it seems on: June 22, 2021, 06:50:23 AM
Bitcoin just fell down to 39k plus per 1, and those that held/bought bitcoin while it was at 50k have no benefit of holding bitcoin at 50k per 1 instead they lost money. lets say those that will buy at 39k per 1 will have more benefits when its spikes again to 50k. So those that enjoyed holding bitcoin at 50k hoping that it will hit another ATH will have to wait for bitcoin to hit another 50k but still got no  profit, while the 39k buyers will profit 11k dollars. My question is why is they no extra profit for early holders when the price falls and rises agian?
You don't expect that everyone will get into the market at the same time and buy in the same amount. It is possible also that those that bought at $39k can also witness a drop in price after they buy in and have to wait for a recovery to make their investment plus profits and some other investors would have bought in from less and just start to make profit.
So that cannot be an argument for why HODL is not a good strategy because the ability to HODL is profits guaranteed.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bull market still exists on: June 21, 2021, 03:47:34 AM
Anyway, I still seeing the market to stay at a bullish level even without Elon Musk, even without such manipulation stuff.
But we must admit that Elon Musk and the manipulation really give a direct impact on the trend of crypto market. After FUDs made by Elon Musk and other negative issues were spreading from China and the USA, crypto market experienced a huge dump. It showed us that those have big power to influence crypto market.

That probably there is another another Bullrun will come and we never know yet, might be 3-4 years from now, or earlier than that.
Indeed. Even if there is a schedule of Bitcoin halving, but basically we don't really know when the bullrun or bearish to come and go. We only have some predictions about them. Since crypto market is unpredictable, there is no exact time for bullrun or bearish.

Yes, they all must have had their own impact on the crypto market falling fast but to me, we must understand that, the market was already in a correction more and this dip was imminent anyway. The drop would have been slower and might have taken longer than the number of days it took to get to $30k from $60k but as you said, Elon Musk and the rest of them made it faster but the market is still majorly in the Bull trend and will see a new ATH in 2021.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for Holders! on: June 21, 2021, 03:35:03 AM
When you hold a coin that has potential it will give you profit more than you dreamed for but on the other it is risky for those who don’t have patience.
When a trader fails to trade and doesn't get good results for his trading activity, it's not the end for him.

There's an option to hold and that's doing nothing from the usual trading activity that they do. Many successful investors held for a long time and if you don't think that trading isn't for you.

Go hold, bitcoin or any altcoin you think that has the full potential to grow big someday.
You are totally right and it sounds like my experience. I was day trading for some time and was constantly losing the profits I had already made from previous trades, got tired of that and decided to just buy a particular Altcoin actually BNB at the time early January, and just Vault them. I was lucky as BNB was about $40 then and we know BNB went from there to $600 and that was it. If you buy in at some point it might be fast but if you bought in at almost ATH, you might have to HODL for a longer time to make profits.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red crypto market today on: June 20, 2021, 08:16:16 AM
What has caused the crypto market's mood to decline in recent days? I lost quite a lot in crypto trading this month. Let us discuss it with enough insight and hope that in June Susana will return to a stable green, Thank you friends.

It is very cleared that we are already in bearish market, and I think the price value will be move by this week in between
30k$ - 45k$ and I know a lot of the holders in crypto are wishing the market to turn into green again, but we also know too
that market is too unpredictable as well, so the best thing we can do for now is but to wait until the market move like a rocket
going to the moon.
If you believe that then you are saying the market will not return to a Bull or upward trend again until like after 3years at least.
I don't see that yet because I do believe that the market is only in a correction stage as the market usually does after a huge rally up as we have seen in the recent past and that is healthy and we will definitely see a new ATH before the year 2021 end before we witness a proper Bear market.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl is not the best option as it seems on: June 20, 2021, 08:10:11 AM

If Hodl is not the best option then what is it? You don’t expect everyone to be cashing out in this market all the time or do you? It’s not every time that things are going to work out for you, there are times that you’re also going to lose. If Hodl was very bad then what are you going to say about that invested in Bitcoin when earlier 2020 when the market crashed to $4000 and continued to hold till now when the market reached over $60,000 before they sold? It’s not going to favor everyone, the same way that there are people who are losing their money there are also those who are making money in the market. The luck doesn’t shine on everyone.

Just try to find the right time and invest your money and then you can Hodl. Right now that the price is down some people are not going to buy at the cheaper rate, rather they will wait till when the market is going to reach a high price and they will start buying.
I agree with you but the problem is some investors understand HODL quite differently. Maybe thinking that HODL means you might never sell for the longest time. As you rightly mentioned, Buying at low prices and HODLing for as long as it takes for the market to get to a new ATH before selling is a good strategy and that works but I don't understand when I hear some investors saying to continue to hold after I have HELD from like $4k to $60k that I should have taken profits but continue to HODL even when the market is going back down, I don't get that.

528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador to revoke Bitcoin as legal tender? on: June 19, 2021, 09:14:37 AM
I thought this is another news. LOL  Roll Eyes

That won't happen. They won't waste their time revoking that they've made a law just recently. That's a wishful thinking of yours but you'll see that they'll be happy to add some more incentives as they attract more investors and companies going to their country.

They're probably thinking of making El Salvador as a crypto haven.

I thought the same too  Grin

I also agree with you that I believe that the President of El Savaldo will try everything he can to make this work since it is all the assistance requested from the World Bank before that was not fulfilled and is still not granted the Nation that has made the President take this turn.

I believe that El Salvado being a crypto Heaven is sure if everything falls in place which I believe it will, it's just a matter of time because the Government is committed.
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall from 65k to $30k was the best thing to ever happen to Bitcoin on: June 19, 2021, 08:56:56 AM
My target price for Bitcoin is 15K-20K during the next few weeks. The party is clearly over, and investors should consider liquidating anything related to Bitcoin or short it.
Recent collapse proves that Bitcoin isn't a safe haven, store of value, or a hedge against inflation/market correction, but a speculative token that can go down 50% in a week
Obviously, you are a newbie, and the obvious reason while your thinking about Bitcoin is only about the profit you can make. If real investors that have firm belief in Bitcoin had not supported the Network I don't believe you would be here talking about making profits off Bitcoin. Bitcoin has had way dips than this in the past and investors that have held for a long are most of the Bitcoin Millioniers today and if Bitcoin wasn't a store of value that wouldn't have been.
So, you can continue to wait for your $15k-$20k Bitcoin price till gray hair.
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin’s time is now on: June 19, 2021, 08:44:36 AM
Time has shown which coin will be proven as a true crypto currency and it turned out to be BitCoin, not ShitCoin   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
As a capped asset and store of value, Bitcoin is a very promising store of value for everyone.  Smiley

More and more people will buy it and exchange ShitCoins to BitCoins.  Cheesy

It has been proven for so long and people are still choosing Shitcoin for profit of course,
Of course Shitcoin is for short term just to join the hype and earn from it,
People should know it and it isn't for long term because they would surely lose their money on long run.
I totally agree with you. For those that feel comfortable with investing in those shitcoins is because we understand that the lucky ones can still make some profits from them, as a matter of fact, some investors actually made some huge profits from investing in some shitcoins but it is by no means anything to invest on as you would invest in Bitcoin.
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is buying three bitcoin worth it? on: June 18, 2021, 01:14:50 PM
I’ve been reading up on bitcoin and saw that Tim Draper estimates the price will hit 250k in 2022. I honestly could never afford a ton of bitcoin even now at 37k but I could afford three. It would be a lot of my savings, not all, but a majority. Is it worth it to spend almost 111 thousand dollars buying three bitcoin? Will it make me back a substantial amount more money? Please help!
Honestly speaking, I don't get it when I see this kind of post about if they should invest in such and such cryptocurrency, this means you don't have an idea what you are getting into and quite frankly, if you don't already know, I'd suggest you shouldn't invest that much in Bitcoin because you would seem like someone that would panic sell if the price goes against you.
Yes we are all looking for profits but investing in Bitcoin means you know and have the believe for it.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ⚽Ronaldo / Coca-Cola/ Bitcoin ₿ on: June 18, 2021, 12:54:19 PM
Yap it will just be quick pump and dump, the real proof is elon musk.

What did he say about Doge is just temporary effect, so if Ronaldo talked about bitcoin then it will be same thing what we see in Elon musk case.
Let's see though if Ronaldo will have a long lasting effect compared to Elon's though since a lot of football fans are pretty loyal to their brand and they will probably stay in bitcoin as long as Ronaldo is in good terms with it but nevertheless, it's all pump and dump so we better be careful.
We have all seen this effects before, were are all the projects previous celebrities pumped before? DJ Khaled, Floyd Mayweather, John McAfee, all pumped for a while and they are probably not in the top 50 coins now. Same effect will be for Ronaldo if even he would have want to speak for or against any cryptocurrency. The effects is usually for a while as we have noticed even from the coca Cola's post be it negative or positive.
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Bitcoin which is best. on: June 17, 2021, 10:08:24 AM
Bitcoin and ethereum is now increasing the price day by day. How how to choose and invest the coin. Bitcoin or ethereum which is the best future investment and how to invest the coins. Kindly explain me the Bitcoin and ethereum coins deats. Kindly share the link also. Which is best opportunity for invitations coins. Kendriya give me your advice to invest the best coins
If in the comparison between BTC & ETH, Definitely i will go to put BTC on top position, this is the first digital coin developed in back 2009, It almost 2 decades have passed and dominated in the Cryptocurrency market. But ETH is big projects and it’s able to built a big community, And thousands of projects developed in Ethereum network. You can invest on the both sides.
Somehow I personally don't like to compare both projects because I believe that both projects have come a long way in the life of cryptocurrency existence and have been good profit-making Investments for most if not all that have invested in them for as long.
I say they are both great projects to invest in and continue to invest in them if the means are available.
534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is someone worried about the recent decline of BTC? on: June 17, 2021, 09:10:32 AM
Recently Bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies market crashed due to the Elon musk and China government ban Bitcoin mining announcement. But I think it would be good again in near future. If you want to invest in Bitcoin then you can invest in Bitcoin.  Because it's an another chance to invest.
Was it really because Elon musk tweeted and China made that statement again that really tanked Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency prices? If you looked at the chat properly you would have noticed that the market would have corrected anyways because we were already at over bought level but we can still say Elon's tweet and China announcement further help to accelerate the dip.
However, I believe that all these dips are also healthy for the market, investors have the opportunity to add more or enter if you are a new investor.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: General Motors May Start Accepting Bitcoin If There's Customer Demand on: June 17, 2021, 09:00:36 AM
If they are so customer driven and ready to accept BTC today (after announcing for such an acceptance), what will they do if their customers ask them to stop BTC? Will they do what Elon did?

Btw, on a positive side, I'm glad that companies are taking a step forward and entering crypto space while also testing the abilities of crypto as well as utilising it at their best.
I believe that what they are saying is they will be open to accepting Bitcoin as payment if there is customer demand for it, so I don't think that if they naturally want to start accepting Bitcoin as payment, the customer will tell them not to since it will be a matter of choice to the customers, if you want to pay with Bitcoin you can and if you want the Fait means you can too.

Like you said, at the end of the day, it is a win for Bitcoin as we are witnessing all this different adoption from organizations to President.
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: British Man Duped out of $282,000 in Brutal Crypto Scam on: June 16, 2021, 09:04:55 AM
Nottinghamshire is the city where the famous Robin Hood stole from the rich to give to the poor. Now, metropolitan police say a scammer has stolen $ 282,000 from a local man in the same wooded area.
The victim, who did not want to be identified, said the scammers deceived him after an online conversation in 2020. Apparently, they promised him to invest his money in a fake brokerage firm, promising to receive a significant amount of bitcoin as a profit.
The thieves tricked the man into allowing him to access his computer remotely. In this way, they used his personal information to get a loan.
Detective Sergeant David Breach said in the police report: “Reports of investment fraud have increased significantly since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, which is unsurprising when you think the vast majority of us have had to conduct nearly every aspect of our lives on a computer or mobile phone.”
In the six-month period between October 2020 and March 2021, US users reported more than $ 82 million in online cryptocurrency fraud, according to the US Federal Trade Commission.
Perhaps it is time to repeat the obvious: People who want to enter the crypto space need to know that they face a myriad of dangers and inconveniences. Because of your love to cryptocurrency, do not respond to unexpected messages from unknown senders and unreasonable promises of astronomical profits or rewards.

First, even as a newbie way back when I dint even fell for anything like this. Why would you allow people you don't know to have access to your computer remoitely? I know most of us here started this cryptocurrency journey somewhere and we understand that it is better to do that from an exchange.

What kind of investment did he want to invest in that will pay him a lot of Bitcoin? I this age and time, it saddens me to still hear this kind of news that people still allow themselves to be scammed online by people you have never met.
Sorry for what happened to him but it was his fault.

537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BabelFish x Sovryn on: June 15, 2021, 08:37:48 AM
I still have the SOV token so far. I believe it could cost more than $100 in the future. even his ATH is currently at $80. however, the same might happen to babelfish. but for now, most of my assets are still held in sovryn, so I may need to see this development further until I decide to get involved in babelfish again or not.
I agree with you and even though I didn't know when the sale for SOV happened, I was able to catch the Bounty and it was a really good one I must say so I am looking forward to the BabelFish public sales because I believe it will do well as well from everything I have read about the project.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will The Sorrow of BTC Be The Pleasure of Altcoins? on: June 14, 2021, 03:14:00 AM
Once you think of it that way, then you might be invariably saying that the whole cryptocurrency market will cease to exist because I believe the Genesis of Bitcoin caused the existence of Altcoins and once the hope is lost for Bitcoin and it ceases to exist, there goes Altcoins too because I don't think Alts will be soo good to outlive Bitcoin someday.
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: ✅ We are currently in a year where the trend for Bitcoin on: June 14, 2021, 03:07:35 AM
Bitcoin is huge growth, a big price correction in that year is not without predecent (ie 2013).
BTC still primed to go to 100k by EOY 🚀
I agree with you in terms of the EOY Bitcoin price of $100k because if you look at the wider rand of things, exactly a year ago on this same date June 14, Bitcoin was trading around $9k+ and from the look of things in a daily bitcoin chat, we could get back to a more upward trend in price again before this June ends, I personally believe that Bitcoin is still very much Bullish even with the correction.
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using renewable resources in Bitcoin Mining on: June 13, 2021, 01:18:01 PM

there's the Strike app they are saying, kind of wallet they use there to pay BTC.  proof that they really use BTC there casually that even this local store accepts BTC.
mining using the volcano is very renewable. not a very common use for a volcano but if it can be done it's good.

so this is the government mining BTC, that's very positive news for the locals, the government is said to be paying BTC to their employees.
Yes, all of it is great news in relation to Bitcoin adoption but my concern is, sometimes workers might want to save some of their earnings or you might not spend all at once, and in this case, if they are paid and with the nature of Bitcoins volatility, it could either go up in price in favor of the workers or downward, making them lose a bit of their salary value. Does this mean they will immediately change to stable coins?
