521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SpaceX sold $373M worth Bitcoin, reason of current dump on: August 19, 2023, 03:27:51 PM
Have you see how dumping Bitcoin? If not you are missing red chart. Here is the reason why current dump happened.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/spacex-sold-bitcoin-acquired-2021-2022-report

You can see SpaceX sold $373M worth of Bitcoin. Elon is very harmful for Bitcoin as always. He always supports shitcoins that doesn't have any real value.
Elon Musk always thinks about his own interests.  He may or may not feel that Bitcoin is not going to bring him any good results at the moment and that is why he has sold all the Bitcoins he bought for SpaceX.  His focus is only on shitcoins like Meme Coin Doge, shiba inu. His actions have had a bad effect on the Bitcoin market. and in this chance maybe bitcoin can come to $20k. However, since this is not a major issue, it does not seem to have much of an impact on Bitcoin
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 19, 2023, 03:22:39 PM
Today will be the second match of New Zealand vs UAE T20 series. In the first match, New Zealand batted first and collected 155 runs, United Arab Emirates were all out for 136 runs, New Zealand won by 19 runs. New Zealand won the first match of the three-match series. If New Zealand wins the match today, they will win the series. UAE will try to play well in today's match. New Zealand's chances of winning today's match are very high. I think New Zealand will win the match today.
Match has been started and UAE win the toss and decided bowling.I think UAE's decision to bowl this time was right and this time this decision will be a win for them.Because New Zealand's batting performance is looking very poor this time.new Zealand have 38 run in 6 over and lost 3 wickets.UAE are performing very well in bowling.A.khan took three New Zealand wickets at the same time.Due to which the New Zealand batsmen are looking under a lot of pressure at the moment. It seem that this time UAE will win this match.
New Zealand's batting performance is still very good as they scored 94 runs in 14 overs but they are a bit weak in terms of wickets as they have already lost 5 wickets. But the way they are playing it seems they will give UAE a target of over 140 runs.  UAE may be a good team but they are not very good so you can't call them win potential. New Zealand are not bad at cricket so we can expect them to win. A target of 150+ runs is generally considered a good target in T20 matches.  New Zealand may fall into this today
523  Economy / Economics / Re: I dont sell my assets i borrow against them on: August 19, 2023, 03:15:50 PM
I did not understand the point you are trying to make, and I hope you add more details, but are you putting your house as collateral in exchange for cash and using it to invest in bitcoin? Bitcoin is a high-risk investment and try to look smart by buying it against mortgaging your assets. Payment term and be forced to sell at a loss. Do not invest in bitcoin with money that you need soon or linked to deadline time.
I think the op could arrange a loan where anyone can borrow money by collateral bitcoins to him. In this case, it can be useful for those individuals who want to hold Bitcoins without selling them, but on the other hand, do not currently have enough money to meet any of their needs. In that case he can borrow money by collateral his bitcoins and later repay the money and get his bitcoins back. I'm not sure that's what the op meant.  But I could guess that from reading his post
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: August 19, 2023, 02:07:48 PM
Online gambling is a billion dollar industry. Even the country that doesn't have the perfect regulatory compliance makes billion dollar revenue. This is the reason we were able to see countries that doesn't ban gambling completely.
Gambling is now a common game.  So now almost most of the people in the age group of 15-50 are addicted to gambling. Especially the youth are deeply addicted to it.  All gamblers are losing money gambling and the gambling industry is taking in billions of dollars.  The gambling industry is so addictive that people who are addicted to gambling lose control over themselves. So it can be said that the gambling industry is very big now. on the other hand, Gamblers are completely destitute
It is true that the gambling industry is very big and it has been going on for ages. Gambling is a very old and popular form of entertainment in most countries of the world. But addiction is a bad thing so you have to learn to control yourself the interest of the young generation is high, but the elderly are not far behind. Not only online, these days many people are getting rich by gambling in other ways as well. However, with the advancement of technology, more people participate in online gambling than other forms of gambling. Many people can't quit gambling despite making money and many obstacles despite many attempts to stay away from gambling addiction many people end up not being able to stay away from gambling.
Gambling is very popular, but earlier there were only physical casinos for gambling then gambling was not very popular.  But ever since a huge industry of online gambling has developed, everyone's interest in it has increased, because now there is no need to go to a specific place to gamble. And gambling with crypto is much easier.  Because there is no hassle of banking or limits to deposit and withdraw money, it is becoming more and more popular day by day. and it’s  industry is very big.
525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading and gambling on: August 18, 2023, 04:51:04 PM
Holding bitcoin is not the same thing as trading bitcoin. Gambling and trading are not the same thing too. Trading require you to learn trading skills but gambling require just some strategies. Trading can be risky like gambling, but they are not the same thing. If the price of bitcoin fall already, you can invest for months or years and you will most likely gain.
Trading is risky like gambling but not as risky as gambling.  When a trader makes a wrong entry in trading then his balance is not 0 and he has a chance to recover the loss by holding those coins.  But in case of gambling, if one makes a wrong decision, his balance immediately becomes 0 and if he wins the bet, he gets the profit according to the odds. So these two things are not the same there is a big difference between them. However, leverage trading can be said to be a form of gambling, but spot trading is never like gambling
For those who trade in panic and are more addicted to futures trading or margin trading, trading behaves like gambling, but trading does not behave like gambling for everyone. Trading is a type of digital business so it cannot be compared to gambling in any way. And some more difference between gambling and trading is that gambling is a bad addiction and it can make anyone addicted very easily but trading can't make anyone addicted very quickly. It is not easy to quit gambling but it is easy to quit trading
Futures trading and margin trading are not entirely the same thing. Margin trading in Binance can take maximum 5x leverage and trade is closed when balance is 20% but future trading can take leverage up to 125x and trade is not closed till 0 balance. And in case of losing in gambling also bet amount is gone and balance is 0 so future trading can be compared to gambling but margin trading cannot be completely compared to gambling. on the other hand spot trading is completely gambling free
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 18, 2023, 04:40:51 PM
~snip~
Got money on Australia, no way can you bet against the home team here.  Hoping it's a low scoring game which it should be based on earlier games from both of them.  Would like to see Australia ride out on a high note.  They were actually one of my favorite teams to watch this entire tourny

I'm not too sure, most Australian players were visibly done when their defense wasn't able to play properly and destroyed all their hopes after the 2-1. The 3-1 was clearly devastating.

I think they already lost all their "oomph" to play this game, my guess is that Sweden will win comfortably this match.
In football we can only make some predictions by looking at previous game performance.  Both Australia and Sweden women's teams have performed very well.  And that's why they managed to fight for the 3rd position. Their odds are also close.  It is very difficult to predict which team will win between these two teams. Many are supporting Australia and many are supporting Sweden depending on one's choice but the exact result of the match is difficult to say now.
527  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad economic situation makes bitcoins more difficult to keep. on: August 18, 2023, 04:28:14 PM
I was having a conversation with a friend, and we talked about how difficult the economy is and how it can disrupt someone's plan to hold their bitcoins without tampering with it. I think this is true because if you think of how difficult things are getting, Salaries from jobs no longer sufficient to sort all needs, and profit from business seriously affected and made intangible because of the increasing cost of running a business and the rising cost of things.
Job salary is never a huge amount for everyone so not everyone can live a luxurious life with salary money.  Very few people can live a life of luxury with the salary of a job who is an officer of a company. On the other hand, business management is very difficult and in business, unless the business is very big, profits are not very high, which makes it impossible to live a luxurious life. Again there is a lot of risk in Bitcoin because the price of Bitcoin is not stable and its price not only goes up but also goes down a lot at times so holding Bitcoin does not guarantee a luxurious life. There are many hurdles in all areas of life and overcoming those hurdles to achieve something good is called success. No one can succeed without suffering.  Success is not an easy thing
528  Economy / Speculation / Re: take advantage of opportunities on: August 18, 2023, 04:07:52 PM
Are you also taking advantage of this opportunity, friend?
No, I already have my holdings and can't add any extra money to it right now. I actually need to sell some BTC for daily expenses, but this recent crash has impacted me negatively, since I was expecting prices to rise a little bit before selling my coins. Now it seems I will have to sell my BTC for a cheap price, losing some potential extra profit I could make and was counting on.

Well, that is what happens when you put too much expectations on crypto market on short term. Angry
When you don't have any extra money, it's natural to sell your holding bitcoins to meet daily expenses. But if you have extra money then you should hold on to bitcoins.  It is the religion of Bitcoin that the price of Bitcoin will go up and down so there is nothing to panic about it.  The reason the current market is a bit dumped is because SpaceX sold off their bitcoin holdings but that's not a big deal, bitcoins will pump again.  So it is better to be patient rather than panic
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 18, 2023, 04:01:09 PM
Lol Ditto!

In general, all names i came across when i read posts here, Sithara's normally post about random T-20 leagues even random fixtures, mostly associate matches.

At least someone is following T-20 format seriously. All i know about BBL, PSL, The 100 and SA t-20. When it comes to details then I only follow IPL.

LOL.. it is strange that you doesn't consider the Caribbean Premier League in the same level as BBL and PSL. For heaven's sake CPL came much before the PSL and the 100. SA20 is a very recent invention. On top of that, CPL is one of the most popular foreign leagues as far as Indian audience is concerned. And I believe that it has a higher viewer-share compared to either BBL or PSL. Anyway, I keep track of all the T20 leagues around the world and it gives an idea in which way the sport is moving. My prediction is that bilaterals will become history in another 5-6 years and franchise T20 leagues will become more prominent.

Don’t get me wrong, I definitely think that the Caribbean Premier League is definitely one of the better ones. And I can say that because there are not many quality to 20 leagues to be honest. I actually think that the IPL is the best and that IPL has set the level of expectation a lot higher. And that is certainly a problem for the other T-20 league because they will hardly be able to achieve that level. Australia and England are certainly doing a decent job. But I cannot say that for the other T-20 leagues. Caribbean Premier League is definitely not bad. But the fact that West Indies are not able to perform well with their national team does eventually affect the Caribbean T-20 league.

No other T20 league has been able to create such a position like the IPL ‍and we must be kept it separately. The way Indian people love cricket that are really appreciable, they spend more time and money on cricket that is unexampled by any other country. Moreover, they have huge population who are cricket fans. No matter how well Australia or England do in their country, they have not been able to popularize T20 leagues. We recognize that Australia has announced to reduce the number of matches in the last BBL T20 that means they are not very profitable.
India is the best team in cricket game it is ok but they are not much better than Australia they may be much stronger team than England but relative to Australia they are almost close to Australia. India is playing against Ireland today and as Ireland batted first they gave India a target of 139 runs.  And India just came out to bat and they took 12 runs in the first over but in 2nd over they took only 1 run. But it is expected that India can beat Ireland
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling discussion effect on: August 18, 2023, 03:48:05 PM
I’m not a regular gambler before I start participating on gambling discussion here due to campaign requirements. Right now I have urge to gamble everytime I saw someone post here about discussion on profit or winning jackpot. Even a simple discussion about strategy makes me want to gamble because I’m excited to try the strategy that I’m thinking.

Right now, I’m still not frequently gambling because of my work but I do regular gambling once or twice a week even if I don’t do this before just because I’m always exposed to gambling discussion and the thought of it makes me want to try.

What’s the effect of gambling discussion here to you? I’m thinking to quit participating on signature campaign that involves gambling discussion in an event that my gambling activities is increasing above my normal habit.
It is your responsibility to control yourself and build your life well. So what you do about it is entirely up to you. when discussing gambling it is not logical to say that you are deeply addicted to gambling. but if you want to refrain from working on the signature campaign of the gambling site to avoid gambling, I can't give you any advice to you because it is totally your own opinion. But one piece of advice I can give you is don't panic or take any decision emotionally as you will end up doing more harm than good.
531  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: August 18, 2023, 03:38:35 PM
I was in argument with someone. His view is that people who gamble are those that what they have is not sufficient for them and so they try to make more money from gambling. He said if you have sufficient money to take care of your needs that you won't think of gambling. He made reference to some rich people, who don't gamble because they have sufficient money to even gift to charity but that those rich who still gamble are only addicted to it not just because of the money. Therefore, that the percentage of the rich gambling is very small compared to those in middle class and lower class.

So my question is, is the percentage of the rich gambling lower than the middle and lower class?
Not everyone is lucky enough to win big from gambling so no one gets rich from gambling. Gambling is an entertainment place where one can spend his free time with fun. A game always gives us fun but when financial aspect is attached to it then if we can win something from it then it is a lot of joy for us. Again, even if we lose here, our emotions work, so gambling always gives us a different experience. And I gamble because I get the fun out of it
532  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can we have a newbie Bitcoin wallet? on: August 17, 2023, 03:19:32 AM
Is there any wallet for newbies? If there's none, I think we should have a wallet for newbies. As a newbie who wants to learn and more about crypto, I've learnt that owning a wallet is very essential in managing one's crypto assets hence the necessity for anyone who wants to get involved in Bitcoin must have crypto wallet.
I do not think that it would be feasible to create a wallet for beginners, given that they are beginners, and mistakes cannot be avoided unless you mean creating a smart wallet that can detect user errors, which does not seem logical if the user himself does not have sufficient knowledge of the basics of the blockchain.
On the other hand, there is a much better solution, which is to use the Bitcoin test network. It is a parallel network that operates with the same settings as the Bitcoin blockchain and was created for practice and learning purposes before passing to the main network. On this network there is a testnet bitcoin that has no market value and can be obtained for free from one of the available faucets or by requesting it from anyone who owns it.
Wallet is wallet It will not be anything else for beginners. So it is foolish for beginners to think of a separate wallet. But I have noticed that most people who are new to cryptocurrency use Trust wallet. this is enough for beginners as they don't hold large amounts of crypto. but gradually everyone should move towards a good non-custodial wallet and start using hardware wallet if possible.
533  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter on: August 16, 2023, 04:48:48 PM
I can honestly say that many people around me have complained about the radical change efforts on twitter. maybe Musk's mistake is that he can't tell us exactly the platform he wants to create. but people don't seem to want any other innovation on twitter except for minor improvements. i think he wants to make it a platform where more crypto aware people can use it and get some work done, but i think it's too early for that. as you said, millions of ordinary people use this platform and he should make it a more democratic and user request based platform instead of using it like a rich kid playing with his toy. otherwise this decline will continue.
Many users are lost from Twitter due to Twitter's name and logo change. Personally speaking, I find it very bad now.  And now I ignore Twitter. That's exactly how many users are leaving Twitter. This is a wrong decision of Elon Musk on the other hand now anyone can buy a verified badge in exchange of money on Twitter due to which now many fake accounts are also getting verified badge.  Due to this, it is becoming difficult to find a legal company's Twitter page.  This is another fault of Twitter.  I don't know why Elon Musk is doing this.  I personally condemn it

535  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is there a site where you can withdraw without deposit? on: August 16, 2023, 02:11:22 PM
Are there sites where you can actually withdraw coins? I mean gambling sites. It doesn't have to be a lot of money, but I used to have the impression that there were more sites like this and it was much easier to withdraw free money. I know there is freebitcoin that gives you free btc every hour, duckdice is also a faucet - do you know any other sites you can recommend?
If you are a lucky guy and win that hourly reward or if you get any free spin or free bet and use that for gambling and win a good amount then you can withdraw that reward if you use any reputable casino site. But if your kyc is complete then try it then it might work. But I don't think you can win anything good for free. To profit from gambling, you must deposit there.  Nothing good can ever be achieved for free
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: August 16, 2023, 01:58:52 PM
anyone deposited very less amount and luckily won a big jackpot like a 100x or 500x or 1000x of base bet and withdrawn without kyc or without facing any problem from the platform?
100x to 1000x win is not a easy task. it require a big luck but in this case if any user win 100-1000x without kyc then he/she can face problem for withdrawal. Because no site allows withdraw above $5k without KYC. It will depend on how much amount a gambler wins.  If someone bet $1 he would only win $1000 at 1000x.  In that case he will be able to withdraw.  But if you win 1000x by placing high amount bet then it will definitely be huge winning and in that case there may be problem in withdrawal. However, if there is a reputable site, then they can be withdrawn by doing kyc again
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe are physical exchanges in your neighborhood. on: August 16, 2023, 04:53:42 AM
I have never used a physical exchange so I don't have useful feedback to contribute to the topic. But if you are worried about your security, try to exchange amounts where you don't have to show an ID or fill in paperwork that leave a trail that could be used against you. Shops like that usually have a threshold where no KYC is required. If you want to exchange more, you can always go in twice, use several different shops in town, or have a friend help you out and exchange a bit in your name.
Physical exchange is not available in my location yet so I can't imagine a physical exchange here. so in this case I have no experience that I can give any feedback here. But I can guess that physical exchange may have lower rate than online exchanger and service charge may be more than online exchange. And in this case there will be tax issues so I think online exchange will more convenient and easy to use than physical exchange. And in case of physical exchange different documents must be required whereas in online exchange one can trade without KYC and only by doing KYC with NID up to 100BTC transaction and exchange facility is available daily there is not so much limit available in physical exchange.
538  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: August 14, 2023, 04:18:20 PM

Which one would you choose from these and why?

Since there is only one choice I'll pick Cryptocurrency when it comes to making a profit its vital that you know the in and out of your choice, there's a significant risk in Cryptocurrency but if you understand the market and you know what to look on a right coin or token to invest you can make a good profit.
I've been into Cryptocurrency for several years I have seen the ups and downs you can counter the downs and make a good opportunity in the bull market based on my experience and maybe with that money I can also set up a business that is related to Cryptocurrency, there is much business that you can think of that revolves around Cryptocurrency.

After gambling, only cryptocurrencies offer higher profit potential in a short period of time. Due to which it can be a good aspect of investment for many people and many people like to invest in cryptocurrency.  Knowing this is a lot of risk, only those who can accept this risk and invest can achieve something big one day.  As the saying goes, no risk no gain. But besides this, business is also a potential direction from which huge amount of profit can be made, so choosing business is not a bad decision too
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 14, 2023, 04:12:20 PM
This will be the closing match of the first week in the EPL, I don't think it will be difficult for Man United to get three points. Mason Mount, Onana, Rasmus Hojlund will make their first debuts with Man United, I think Ten Hag will play all three in the meeting against Wolves at Old Trafford.

The last five meetings between the two have placed Man United as the favourites, winning four and losing one time. For tomorrow United will start their positive trend in this new season after many changes in the squad.
The match you mean will happen today, not tomorrow. And I'm also sure that Manchester United will win at home against Wolves, because besides the squad changes at Manchester United this season. Wolves themselves are also not such a strong team that there is a possibility for Manchester United to win at home today, apart from that from the results of their previous meeting it is also clear that Manchester United is far superior to Wolves.
This match is very easy for Man United. Wolves are still very weak in football and they are very weak against Man United.  Due to which this match is very easy for Man United. Wolves have not been playing well in football so far.  Wolves do get chances in various leagues but are not able to beat their opponents and win most of the matches. The same is going to happen in today's match with Man United.  So there will not be much excitement in this match.  The game is most enjoyable when it is played to the bone and is played with two equally strong teams.
Man United is a good popular team so it is very easy for them to win this match. this is a very common prediction but nothing is guaranteed in the game.  So in this case, you cannot exclude Wolves from the list of possibilities. Wolves may be a weaker team than Man United. However, they are good enough at football to get a chance to play in the Premier League. you cannot ignore them. Sometimes a very bad team can be seen doing good things in the game of football.  Therefore we can only predict the possible outcome of a match but cannot guarantee it
540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much should I invest in cryptocurrency as a beginner on: August 13, 2023, 05:05:26 PM
How much you should invest in cryptocurrency as a beginner  depends on your financial status. If your financial condition is good then you will have one type of amount and if your financial condition is bad then it will be another type. Because according to the financial status of a person, his ability to take losses depends.  But one piece of advice I would give to the op is that everyone be it a beginner or a professional should invest in cryptocurrencies as per his/her ability because crypto is profitable without efforts but on the other hand it is high risk. So just as a person can profit a large amount quickly from here, he can also lose a very large amount quickly.
