No, is not dead. Added to coinpayments and right now the team is working with new partners in iphone wallet and other stuff. This needs time. Yes, we are definitely not dead. In fact, we are listed within the top 40 coins on CoinGecko. Do subscribe to our Reddit if you are not already a subscriber.

Volume is definitely lower than what we want. However, the team is still working on new developments for the coin. You will be able to see on GitHub that our developers are actively developing and rebasing the source code.

AsiaCoin is not minable at all as it is past Proof of Work phase. Yeah, it's true that you can not mine Asiacoin, but you can mine at a multipool that mines dogecoin, and other POW coins, and then exchanges them for Asiacoins, for you. Hashcows does this. I've been "mining" Asiacoins there to increase my stash of them. I'm glad to see that there is now another place that does this for Asiacoins. So it is a multipool? Anyone tried verifying? Without stats, it will be hard for miners to have confidence in the multipool. There were too many cases of pool owners running away with the coins of miners. From the pool stats, it seems to be trying to mine AsiaCoin instead of being a multipool.

hey guys you have alread recognized apple is now allowing virtual currency on their market? Apps may facilitate transmission of approved virtual currencies provided that they do so in compliance with all state and federal laws for the territories in which the app functions asiacoin should be the first to have an iphone wallet Dude, saying and doing are different things. Coding a wallet app is not the same as talking about it. We will need a developer who can code in Objective-C. It may be faster if we have some source code to work with instead of coding from scratch. I just wrote to one of my buddys, who is programmer and can do this stuff. Also has experience at apple programming. You think there could be made some bounty to give him something? A bounty in AC is definitely will be given. Perhaps you can check with your programmer friend and have him contact us. Given the pace of the crypto-currency scene, the wallet has to be done quickly.

I thought I will post some clarification about PoS and staking that I got from Maestro1.
1. Proof of Stake (PoS) does not work exactly like bank interest. Bank interest is a layman analogy for PoS but they don't operate the same way. This is a common misconception that we noticed.
2. Closing the wallet app doesn't affect maturation of your AsiaCoin. Of course, you won't be able to stake when your wallet app is closed.
3. Once you received a stake for a particular block of coins, the old coins in that block are destroyed and recreated in the new block with the staked coins. The new block will need to mature for 14 days before it can start staking again.
Thank you very much 3. explains it all Go asia coin go Apparently, many altcoin investors have the misconception about PoS.

coin control feature when implemented into the wallet?
In our next wallet update, we're working on it now. Stay tuned. That would be nice. I get all these small transactions, especial from the POS interest. It would be nice to be able to easily combine them. Combine them? Can coin control do that?

The AsiaCoin Foundation is looking to add to our development team. If you are a developer and interested, let maestro1 know. We need someone who can do Javascript especially.

Great news soon the price will go up again I have a question and i was hopping someone from the community to help me. My wallet is not staking properly i think .... i got my stake coins after the 14 days of maturing and after that 0 ! i remember the rate was 100% in the first month or i am wrong? Is there a new wallet i don't know of ? Sorry guys for the questions but i really need help Thank you all Staking is actually random. However, when you do stake, your stake will be bigger and based Why asiacoin is dead ? We have a great dev team ...
AsiaCoin is not dead but we are under a lot of manipulation on MintPal. We are on CoinPayments, we got the Android wallet and X11 multipool on their way. I really hope investors of AsiaCoin do not sell for anything under 300 sats. I keep all my coins but it's hard , I lost more than 50% =( I am holding my ACs as well. My holdings grew since the community took over. We definitely need the community to get more active.

We are looking for a X11 multipool operator to pay out in AC. Please assist the Foundation in spreading the message!
X11 is ok asics is the future real thing would be to find pure scrypt litecoin-compatible asic-positive poool which would accept to pay in AC. I have two friends who should receive within one or two weeks zeusminer asic 130 MH ( 72 Asic + 50 promised free MH at center ) . zeusminer already shipped 1500 asics If possible to convince them to mine at AC multipool - such multipool would start with 300MH for the beginning. We are actually looking at X11 or X13 as summer is coming. A scrypt port is possible at a later stage though.

Do staking having a problem?
My last stake was May 24. I've an updated wallet version 2.0 & keep on synchronizing with 11 connections.
Any clue if there is a problem? Thanks in advance.
Did you move any coins out of your wallet? If you managed to stake before, you are probably fine. I have lucky days that staked 2 times a day and also lousy days whereby I don't stake at all for 5 days straight. I didn't move/take any coin from my wallet.. Before I was staking almost every 2 days but now for almost 8 days none was been added. That's why I'm curious if anyone are still staking. Thanks... I got another stake today, about 3 hours ago. It seems to be pretty random though the staking logic will even out in long run. My wallet is kept running 24/7 though.
