Any news yet for ship out V1 Hboard or anyone got email?
522  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: October 13, 2013, 11:28:00 PM
Dave, I currently have a V1 Starter with a 2nd H board.  I have an order for an October Starter and 6 individual orders for 1 H board each.  In a situation like that, what and when will you ship?

Since V1 H boards are shipping earlier, would it be possible to ship me a few V1 H boards?  And then send me the remaining V2 boards along with the V3 Starter?
I am in the same situation. I emailed Kat which of my orders needed to be filled with old H boards and she acknowledged within a day.

Would you PM me her email address please? I have sent a support email a few weeks ago concerning my October order and never got a response. I might have had the wrong email address.

Thanks!

You can use this email to Kate accounts@megabigpower.com.

new heatsinks came in today Smiley

35x35x6mm with adhesive backings. I just swapped the 5 existing ones (15x15x8mm approx) for 4 of these. each one is just large enough to completely cover the backsides of 4 chips.

tweaked my pencil mod a bit to aim back at 40+GH. initial resistance was 1.13K(ohm) and initial voltage read was 0.805V

15 minute readings: voltage: 0.810    hashrate: 37.5-38GHash
my hope is that over the next 2-3 hours of operation, maximum temperature will be reached and the voltage will approach my ideal target of 0.825V. however, at this point it looks like it may not go past 0.815v eventually, so i may have to re-pencil it in a few hours once it is confirmed.

you better off replace resistor work better.  You can buy resistor from this seller http://www.ebay.ca/itm/50x-3-3k-Ohm-1-16W-Chip-0603-SMT-SMD-Resistor-1-3k3-332-DE3803-/370879282748?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item565a20be3c

Update:

Good news everyone! We practically finished packing all of 700's last week. About half of them were also shipped, and the remaining ones will be going out on monday or tuesday with whatever else we'll have packed by then. My team is confident that we'll have all remaining orders out of the door within 2 weeks, and if we really manage to pull it off I would then reopen sales for immediate shipment of v1.2 H-cards and hopefully also our new stuff! (more about this later when I get my hands on them)

For those of you receiving your first units, there should've been an instructions sheet for setting up your miner inside your box.
If yours came without instructions you can download it from HERE.

We're also preparing a datasheet for the chip (it's currently in russian only).

And last but not least I was given permission to release our M-board and H-card schematics to the public!

Download in zipped eagle .sch format here:
M-Board v2.3
H-Card v1.2

  nice
ps: any price change for v1.2 Hboard when you are going to selling again?
525  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Which PSU are you using for your KNC Miner? on: October 11, 2013, 08:14:30 PM
Hi all,

Since we have received word that the Corsair HX850 is not recommend for use on the knc miner, can those who are currently hashing away with a knc miner that have not had any issues with blown caps post which psu they are using?

I think this would be helpful for those who are still searching for the right psu to use as this would certainly be reassuring knowing that someone else is successfully using a certain model/brand.

Stuff burning up or failing.  Falling behind on shipping orders.  Promised hashrates not being delivered.  No communication from KnC about any of it, they suddenly stopped saying anything.  Just about their whole customer base has started going ballistic...

They're knocking themselves out of the game very quickly...

I don't envy them to be honest, they have a lot of customers with a lot riding on their success (as all of these companies do). It does seem though that the worst thing that you can do in this kind of situation is close off the lines of communication - this forum breeds lynch mobs pretty quickly. Even if everybody is needed down in the factory building kit 24/7 it surely pays to have one guy/girl in the office calming the crowds.

heh, JOSH ;p

yeah the KNC rollout loks spotty. on time, with many good units and 500GH speeds, but also lots of poor performance units

KNC did not do long burn test on asic miner and maybe too much for OC.

Have any of the october shipments shipped?

Maybe we will get good news next week on.
528  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Bitfury Starter Kit /w V 2.1 M-Board 35 GH/s on: October 11, 2013, 03:12:05 PM
Looking to sell one of my MBP Bitfury Starter Kits /w Version 2.1 M-Board for 11.5 BTC.

The included H-card runs stable at 35 GH/s with errors less than 4%. I am located in Canada and would prefer to ship to Canada to keep costs low for all involved. I'll throw in two DC fans so you can run it overclocked right out of the box.

It will be a few weeks until Megabigpower ships the rest of its units so get ahead while you can. If we settle today I can run down to the post office and get it in the mail today. Would prefer sale to be completed via escrow (SebastianJu).

What is your asking price or BTC and where are you in Canada?

On an offtopic note... seems like KnC customers are having a lot of problems

What kind problem KNC customers have?

They will replace the farm with the new kits and sell off the old used cards I bet.

You meant  we buy used miners from farm.

  Nice heatsink from ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/100x140x12-7mm-Aluminum-Heatsink-for-Electronic-Computer-Electric-equipment-H157-/181110341808?ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:CA:3160
532  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: October 10, 2013, 06:14:42 PM
on that note, would love to see an update from dave on the october equipment and the upcoming in-stock stuff/sales soon. I have an h-board on order #13X im waiting for, and then would like to start filling up the other 14 slots of my kit when prices make it a reasonable investment

The new stuff will not work in your M boards.  You'll have to buy new M cards for November v2 h boards.
So if you did not fill them up with October orders, you can forget about it.

I wanted to fill up my two August kits (v1 and v2 M boards) but I cancelled orders for 30 h cards because of the price.
Now, it looks like v1 and v2 will not be available anymore.  So whatever you buy in November, buy the whole kit as you never know what versions will be available in the future (if any).

you wont able to get anything in Nov. or Dave wont restock it in Nov.

  Hboard sold out already.

Now that knc is shipping, have you guys figured out pricing for November?  Well there be specific discounts from previous customers, as with ASICminer USB miners?

read post #2952 at end of post.

Update:

We're moving forward on 600's. I'm quite happy with our pace as there were some big orders processed. Some reel orders are also going out this week.

Speaking of reels, I want to remind of the auction I'm running. Current high bid is 101 BTC for 3000 chips or ~8TH. And about 24h left to bid!

You can check the bids here: https://blockchain.info/address/1HzNCRi3Qq3xKj9hyumLG6hhaYwaTPB7dq

@punin, when will your site open for ordering again ?

and regarding the auction for the reel if I bet on that reel and win, can you assemble it for me instead of sending it out ? lets say around 11x full kit and I would pay for the production ?

I wanted to bid then I was thinking what  am I going to do with 3000 chip.....

you can gave out to any miners.
537  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling 30 GH Butterfly Labs x2 units on: October 08, 2013, 03:55:30 AM
12 bitcoins for 60 gigahash

I don't understand why bitfury kits are fucking selling on this board for 9 bitcoins per 30 gigahash when I can't even unload 60 gigahash worth of equipment...?

Is butterflylabs inferior?

Please note that the bitfury kit just has a raspberry pi on top, why would it sell higher?
BF miner 25Gh/s use less power like 30W or less
538  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: October 07, 2013, 04:47:49 PM
Dave,

Please cancel my orders for h-boards #882 (6 boards) and #824 (24 boards).

At this difficulty progression, I feel that these boards are just too expensive to justify this purchase.

I have elected to receive a store credit for my Aug kit, but it looks like I won't be needing it so please send my Aug kit payment to 1CorsCrBEcbncfnR7BVKadUZbHP7xNZCjJ.

If price of the h-boards does change, I'd be very much interested to buying them.

They are excellent product and your handling of the sales has been excellent.

Thanks,
af_newbie

Anyone know what is Email for cancel order with bitpay payment and I am thinking to do it too.
