521  Economy / Scam Accusations / Bitvest.io provably fair rigging on: December 16, 2015, 08:27:00 PM
Hey guys something very disturbing has come to my attention while using the site Bitvest.io.

Basically it's a BTC plinko site with investments and whatnot, but on further investigations I've come to see that the provably fair system they have in place could easily be used to manipulate gambler's roll outcomes causing them to lose. Further details below.

The way the site works by design is that after every bet the client seed and the server seed hashes are changed and supplied by the server...

What does this mean?

It means that they have time to pre-generate the next seeds you will use. Giving them a chance to give you sets of client/server seed combos that would ultimately lead to your bust. Most gamblers stick to a system or pattern when they roll, and given that the server and client seeds are changed for you, every roll, by THEIR systems, leaves anyone gambling on the site open to roll manipulation all while hiding under the disguise of a provably fair system.

The only way this sort of "provably fair system" would in fact be fair at all is if the user takes his time to re-enter a client seed of his own choice (Not the rigged one the server could give you) after EVERY roll. And let's be honest here, Most gamblers aren't even going to bother checking the seeds..

Let alone notice that the client AND server seed are both given to him, every roll. This is not provably fair at all.

When I brought this up their moderators were extremely defensive and I believe one of their moderators/admins basically threatened to mute me for claiming the site was a scam without evidence.. Between the signature campaign payouts being botched recently and now the provable fair system being found to be exploitable by the developer, I would have a serious look at the site before you consider using it.

I'm not directly accusing lightlord of being a scammer at this point, Perhaps this is an oversight in his coding.
But as it sits at the moment this site could very easily be rigging users rolls. And looking at the sites stats you could see how they might be./
522  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: December 16, 2015, 12:44:11 AM
Hey Yobit! Can I join your signature campaign again?

Your automatic script hasn't picked up my signature change for a few days now and was wondering if you had to perhaps re-add me to the list?

My yobit account is MRKLYE. It was activated before but I left for a few weeks to another signature campaign but have decided to return to the yobit sig campaign.

I shot you a PM but didn't get reply. Smiley

524  Other / Meta / Re: Need resolution before I go to law enforcement concerning this forum. on: December 15, 2015, 09:53:17 PM
Go to the cops and tell them Vod was mean to you on the forums and that you're butthurt..

Bahahahahahahah

Seriously kid, The cops are going to fucking have a howl when you go in there and say you're being harassed on the internet.
Grow some thicker skin or go play on habbo hotel or something.
525  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: December 15, 2015, 07:59:32 PM
I've been displaying the signature for far greater than 24 hours now and I've still not gotten confirmation that I am added to the signature campaign via their signature page on yobit...

Can anyone look into this for me? I sent a ticket but still have gotten no  response or anything from the exchange or whatnot..

Has anyone had any luck leaving the campaign and coming back to it? Or have i found a bug?
526  Economy / Lending / Re: Need to borrow 0.09576 on: December 15, 2015, 07:25:01 PM
Hah well I have no alt coins. I do have cold storage, nothing I can use now. Hell you can have my account if I don't pay up. But how would that even work?

Accounts as collateral is generally looked down upon on the forums But I don't imagine you're going to scam folks and you seem pretty legit.

Unfortunately you haven't exactly provided what rates on the loan you'd be willing to pay and whatnot. Maybe try listing some of this information and someone may bite at your loan.

529  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $50 Cheap Digital Ocean FOR $6 BTC on: December 14, 2015, 12:52:11 PM
I have 2 digital ocean credit coupons valid for new users.
These are premium coupon the will give you $50 credit.

Price:$6 per coupon
Current:2 Left

PM me to purchase.
Only bitcoin do not ask me for paypal or any other shit.

These vouchers are given away freely by the site and users have to deposit atleast $10 I beleive in order for them to be validated..
You should probably mention facts like these before you go ahead and try to charge people $6 for something they can't use without extra investment.
Hopefully people become aware of things like this and don't fall victim to misleading or ill typed sales and services on the forums.
530  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: CowFaucet.com - Feed the cow to get free bitcoins - 505 satoshis every 100 mins on: December 14, 2015, 06:46:00 AM
Faucets are sort of a waste of time.. It's nearly 2016 and faucets honestly don't serve any real function other than to bombard people with ads and giving them terrible fraction of fraction of cents payout. We should be molding users towards paths of learning to work for BTC or learn skills to develop sites in the ecosystem rather than condone terrible time wasters such as faucets and whatnot.

We don't need more faucets. If you're smart enough to set something like this up you may as well shoot higher in regards to your future projects.
531  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Ever wanted to start your own Bitcoin Sportsbook? on: December 14, 2015, 04:43:13 AM
I'm highly doubting you actually wrote this script. Your story doesn't add up if you were custom making it for a client...

I think that you likely found some crypto sports book on github somewhere and are trying to make a fast buck but tricking some idiot..
If you want to sell this script you've "wrote" then I highly suggest you attempt setting up a server and showing people this shit actually works.
This will let us determine what script you've ripped off as well.
532  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: December 14, 2015, 04:38:10 AM
Hey folks. I was using the bitvest signature campaign for half a month but they were scamming the pay so coming back to this sig campaign.

Is their anything I need to do to make sure I am joined onto this signature campaign or is it supposed to automatically scan that I have joined the sig campaign or does my account need to be added or something? A reply would be nice as i need to make some cash for the end of the month and sig campaigns are a perfect way to make money on the forums if you have decent posts and whatnot.
533  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is Betcoin.ag legit? on: December 14, 2015, 04:32:00 AM
Bitcoin and online gambling may not be legal in some countries.. So it's really a grey area to answer this sort of thing.

I personally don't see bitcoin gambling as illegal, and I'm thinking it may be regulated in Canada but not enforced for the most part.
I'd check with your local law enforcement or govt to see if Bitcoin gambling is illegal in your country if it is maybe use a secure browser like tor.
534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: December 13, 2015, 10:12:48 PM
Well, If you're looking for an investment I'd highly suggest looking at bitvest.
It's a pinko game that is still new on the scene and I could see it growing.
They take public investments and with a 1.7% house edge you made a decent chunk of profit.
It's run by lightlord and he's proven thus far to be honest with his projects so I see it as low risk and high reward.

Check it out at bitvest.io
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee talks about Bitcoin. on: December 13, 2015, 08:58:54 PM
Personally I think that bitcoin will likely end up being replaced by something faster and more secure before the network is done propagating.

if this actually happens I don't forsee it happening any time soon. In the event that this newer more appears it will likely take time for BTC prices to lower and people adopt the replacement.

This is the last post I guess from me for this sig campaign I guess.  Absolutely no communication from the folks running the campaign and the payouts advertised for posts are not paid out in full nor even possible according to this: post 2313

Sorry mate I think you will never get 0.075/week even if you made 100posts per week because your pay rate is in normal rate which is 0.0005-0.0006/post. So the maximum amount you can get in this campaign is 0.06 with 100 qualified posts in gambling section.

Hope you guys get this shit sorted out.
537  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ Bitvest Plinko Sig. Campaign ★☆★ Earn up to .001/Post (Newb-Hero Welcome) on: December 13, 2015, 06:21:29 PM
Alright, Gonna have to warn people that this signature campaign isn't paying out anywhere close to what it should be on a weekly basis.

I had done well over 75 Posts all of which were good length and content and received only 0.022 BTC for this week. I should have gotten .075 at least.
I'd like an official explanation as to why I wasn't paid out for the full amount promised after putting the work in. Looks pretty scammy to me though.

Then the OP is absolute bullshit and needs to be re-written. It's misleading as fuck and I was banking on that income for bills.
Until the OP is re-written I am going to have to say this is a SCAM, As the advertised amounts will never be paid out..

I'm awaiting reply from izangi or lightlord or someone who knows what the fuck is going on behind the scenes here, People are getting fucked out of hard earned BTC. It's a classic bait and switch and frankly I'm not going to be a victim of this shit.

Did you back up the private keys anywhere for the wallet?

That would be the easy way to do this..

PM me if you need a hand sorting that out.
