The new wallet looks great, gimme gimme gimme  Grin

The dev has already tested the wallet extensively, but i always test it myself before releasing to ensure the safety of our community and their coins.First i test it on an old notebook, then i send coins from an un-updated wallet to an updated wallet to see if the chains communicate. As a final test i update my wallet with 150k to be absolutely certain the Ultracoin community can update without problems.

so in short: you will have to wait a bit longer ^_^

WTF with utcmultipool.com I'm waiting for a days for coins and nothing.

We are not sure what happened yet we are still waiting for hashfever

he did make a post saying a few lines basicly stating he had to shut pools down for a few days

and would payout any remaning payments and he would be back up and running soon

but nothing since and i dont think any coin was paid out

we reccomend to mine at another pool for now, to be safe....... like http://www.ultracoinpool.info/

Hi  Smiley

I was thinking that the block explorer @ http://bitgo.pw:3731/chain/Ultracoin needs a vanity URL.

I have ultracha.in and happy to donate it.

maybe we can make a second explorer on that domain!  Grin

thank you
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ASIC-RESISTANT] UltraCoin (UTC) - Ultrafast 6 second transactions!! on: May 07, 2014, 09:43:08 PM
the short answer is : the memory requirement is to high.

Ultracoin and X11 are amongst the few coins that are asic resistant.many miners will have to stop mining LTC and other popular scrypt coins soon, we will catch the fallout hopefully

Judging by the fact that all popular algorithms sooner or later produced ASIC to release them under the script chacha matter of time.

there are not enough chacha coins to justify a 10 million dollar asic developement investment, we will just have to make Ultracoin 100 dollar to justify it Cheesy

Can anyone (preferable bumface) explain to me why this Flowertech Scrypt-N Miner isn't capable of mining UTC?
I need some tech facts / good background information about it, because I want to contact coindesk and ask them to write an article about the future of GPU mining..

ZeusMiner will begin shipping out its first 500 Scrypt-Asics on May, 20th.
http://zeusminer.com/2014/05/07/progress-update-20140507/

Maybe there's already the reason for UTC's existance. Now we need to convince all GPU miners to switch to us.. Wink

could we make that #1 priory for the community to do. Tell the miners to move to UTC. Where are the best places to do this? Could we buy ad space on coinwarz etc etc or chat in mining forums? I will do my best to help. These miners looking at migrating are essential for UTC to rise into coinmarketcap top 10

Finally, we are thrilled to announce a huge milestone in both ASIC development and the Scrypt
mining community. The Flower Technology ASIC is now capable of mining Scrypt-N, up to N=16384
in addition to Scrypt proof-of-work coins. This will future-proof your purchase for expanded mining
options and increased versatility. Examples of Scrypt-based coins you can mine with our machines
includes
Litecoin, Dogecoin, Isracoin, Auroracoin, Feathercoin, while examples of Scrypt-N coins you can mine
with our machines includes Vertcoin, execoin, GPUcoin, CaiShen and PANDA

Thanks for the update Bumface.

We aim to please.....

we have had some issues with the multipool and wallet loading speed, but the most important thing for people to know is that we are always on top of things.

Sometimes something is out of our control, but at times like these we find other solutions and adapt to the situation.

I think we still have problems with multipool, unfortunately  Sad  Anone hase any news from hashfever?

i have Pm `d him multiple times and have had no response  Sad

im still working on that graphic with security patterns, so this is just another test. what do you think?

you keep surprising me buddy, in a good way!

Anyone know if there is an iPhone app that alerts on the price of UTC??

cheers

On our UTC website at tab Services - Apps is the link for the Bitcoin Checker for mobile phones.

Very nice layout. Easy to program. Possible to set alarms and everything in real time et cetera.

This is a very good app, i have on my phone in one screen UTC/BTC Doge/BTC BTC/USD and LTC/USD

So thats for google... what about iphone?

APPLE INC and IOS hate cryptocurrency for some reason. And they snatch down anything related to it. Although some apps slip through the cracks.  Might wanna consider getting an android if you support crypto. Unless apple can get there crap together. lol

that "some reason" is this :

We recomend miners to be cautious at this point in time with the multipool since we have no idea whats going on.....

We will let you guys , when we know more......

For now you could join this pool Thiago built for UTC.

We hate being in the dark as to what is going on, but we apologise for the inconvineance

Dont forget to bookmark this site to help you with your decision.

http://www.whattomine.com/

The owner, fredeq, is a UTC coin holder. Lets spread the word about his website as best we can.

Hi guys,

I don't know much about mining and pools etc etc but is it stupid of me to ask when the multipool will be buying UTC or is this happening daily? And if it hasn't happened will the community be told before this happens.

the MP is shutdown now dunno why he made a post a page or 2 back

he did not give an explanation yet as to what happened, aswell as reply to my P.M....
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ASIC-RESISTANT] UltraCoin (UTC) - Ultrafast 6 second transactions!! on: May 05, 2014, 08:05:57 PM
For all those miners mining UTC please don't forget to make a donation to the developers account

 -> UV65rd1p2D5TcAihXm4vdSWy89tTLajoEf

DCGirl, xwebnetwork and Bumface are working hard behind the scenes and we need to keep the effort going for the benefit of Ultracoin. I'm donating 5%, for every 100 coins I get from mining at http://ultracoinpool.info/ once received to my wallet I send 5 UTC to the address above

KC

I am very happy with what our Dev team does for our UTC....

So i just send you guy's and girl 1000 UTC for your work. Just to show my respect for your hard work !

Let's hope it will soon reach +0,003

I just recieved a 1000 UTC, thank you , you are very generous. Your BTC donations in the voting for exchanges rounds have also not been forgotten Smiley

lol why did you delete that last post bumface, hmmm?

IN retrospec, the pictuge does not reflect the level of professionality we are implementing. I originally posted it because the forum went into doom & gloom mode again,so i thought it could use a bit of frivolity Smiley
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ASIC-RESISTANT] UltraCoin (UTC) - Ultrafast 6 second transactions!! on: May 05, 2014, 04:29:42 PM

540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ASIC-RESISTANT] UltraCoin (UTC) - Ultrafast 6 second transactions!! on: May 05, 2014, 01:26:18 PM
I really dont get it where at 0,00008 again??? which idiots are selling for this price.
At this price your making a great loss on your mining?!!!!

Can anyone explain how this is possible

Not being funny when I'm saying this but you currently don't have a windows wallet that is downloadable at all... And your scratching your head wondering why people are dumping UTC and talking about sticking your logo on baseball caps. Need to seriously get your priorities straight because currently I see this coin going nowhere. Because none of you listen to new adopters/investors opinions. I can't download a wallet so whats my choice right now...

Am I going to keep them on an exchange and receive no stake on these because your developers can't pull their fingers out their asses and give the users a wallet for their coins. What a joke seriously!!! Expect the price to fall some more because I'm dumping my 3 BTC worth and going with a coin that's gives a shit about new investors. The way I see it is I'm saving myself money for when this coin drops further. The answer here is people who bought this coin on the last rise are looking for every opportunity to claw back what they have lost by dumping UTC every time any uninformed soul buys them up. Becuse you clearly can't get the fundamentals right. Seriously regret investing in this coin. EPIC FAIL

windows wallet can be downloaded without problems at http://ultracoin.net/wallet.html

it is a .rar file a free rar extractor is free rar extract frog for example

If you prefer a .zip that can be found here : http://speedy.sh/KhwKW/Ultracoin-release-1.0.2-qt.zip
