521  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinbase paper wallet vs Bitaddress.org paper wallet on: June 17, 2014, 01:42:59 PM
Like you said, Bitaddress has more security and options. A paper wallet is used for security, so use Bitaddress!

I've had a perfect expirience with bitdefender free edition in the past. It's also friendly to gamers and updates automaticaly. I never interupted any of my activities and never gave me false alarms.

Here's a link

Oh, Bitdefender is another good anti-virus solutions. Basically, don't use Windows default anti-virus, it's bad!
523  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie question about 1 TH/s bitmine on: June 17, 2014, 01:26:35 PM
SHA256 ASICs are hard to make a ROI these days. I suggest purchasing a scrypt miner instead.

Check out gawminers!
Since KNC, is coming out soon, even scrypt might be difficult to roi depending on shipping times. Better asics are also coming out to the market.

True, true. But right now the ROI is really low and GAWminers are shipping soon.

525  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Vps mining on: June 17, 2014, 01:22:32 PM
VPS Mining is definitely not worth it in my opinion. You'll get barely any money from doing it since you're essentially using your CPU to mine.
526  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know onwer of address??? on: June 17, 2014, 01:21:53 PM
It's usually impossible to find out the owner of the address (not exchanges, but regular addresses generated by average joes like me) unless they are posted online and linked to a profile or something, such as a forum.
527  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Making bitcoins online on: June 17, 2014, 01:21:17 PM
It's highly unlikely you can make a living off of Bitcoins when you're just a beginner. I suggest doing some research first. If you're talented at something such as drawing, perhaps offer a service for BTC where you draw for people.
528  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: June 17, 2014, 01:10:14 PM
I use BTC-E, but sometimes it's really slow for me. Not to mention they got hacked a few years back, I'm probably going to change to another exchange soon.
529  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transaction Fee question on: June 17, 2014, 01:08:11 PM
The fees are used to pay miners so that they can confirm your transactions! Make sure to pay a fee or else your transactions will have low priority, hence slower confirmation time.
530  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safest wallet on: June 17, 2014, 01:07:13 PM
Electrum.

If you're moving around and need access to your wallets on your phones and tablets, I suggest using Blockchain!
531  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Probable SCAM? on: June 17, 2014, 01:05:49 PM
Thanks for the heads up dude, phishing sites these days have really gotten more and more convincing. That's why everyone should use 2FA for their wallets.

Use windows defender and scan computer with eset online scan once per month! (Be careful to turn off auto-delete because sometimes detectes miners, wallets...)
There is a link of eset online scanner: http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner/
Its free! No installation required (just plugin if you are using crome and firefox, no plugin required if you use internet explorer)
Have a nice day!
Windows Defender use to be good/okay but after Microsoft started focusing on other projects (xbox, cloud solutions and such) it has become bad. You can look around the internet about this. Most people use Avast as a free solution, I believe it is among the best. I usually install it on each PC that goes through my hands.
Hm.. I know, thats the reason I scan with eset online scanner. Avast is not good, slows computer for 30%!

I'm not sure how you're measuring your "efficiency", but I assure you that Avast does not slow down your computer by 1/3 "efficiency".

Windows Defender is not really a good solutions. I definitely suggest using a better anti-virus solution such as ESET or Kaspersky.

This screams ponzi scheme. You don't even have proper grammar, no one is going to trust you dude.

537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Addresses: What happens after 20 years? on: June 17, 2014, 12:44:37 PM
It'll take literally forever to run out of unique addresses. So don't worry about it, it won't even be used up even after hundreds of years.
538  Other / Off-topic / Re: Good, free AntiVirus & Anti-shitware? on: June 17, 2014, 11:51:06 AM
Avast! is what you can use for your anti-virus.

I also suggest Malwarebytes for anti-malware.
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bubble incoming! $3800 - $4000 expected on: June 17, 2014, 11:49:27 AM
A $3800 bubble is way too huge. I'll eat a shoe on stream if this happens.

Quoted for reference. Going to pick the worst smelling shoe for you now Smiley

I'm ready to do this. With Bitcoins costing $3800 per coin, I'm sure I'll be rich enough to spend a few hundred dollars to get my stomach pumped after what happens. But perhaps we need to set a deadline for this to happen.

Okay, then choose a deadline. I got nothing to lose here, so you set the terms. I will even pay for some ketchup to accompany the shoe. And maybe we resort to not using a knee-long gothic plateau shoe because we don't want to kill you Wink

Great, let's create a bet in http://bitbet.us/ (or a similar website) to seal the deal. You guys can't keep the fun just for yourselves.

Hey, I'm not going to bet money on this. I'm just going to bet whether or not am I going to eat a shoe!

Haha, I'll have to find some shoe that is organic and won't kill me. I'll set the deadline by August 17th 2014.
