521  Economy / Speculation / Re: I've noticed something strange on: October 03, 2017, 09:34:11 AM
It would be too early to speak before time takes place when such decisions will really matter. Everyone knows that a fork is about to happen, so your instinct indicating you of something to occur is not indicating anything new yet. Some significant decisions are yet to be taken by the miners and they might be the reason why alts are losing over to Bitcoins and BTC is gaining strength. If we won't be getting any free coins after the hard fork, I don't understand why are they using the brand "Bitcoins" ahead of their so-called invention namely Gold?
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO would you suggest for October? on: October 03, 2017, 05:56:39 AM
I am seeing a lot of new ICO's.. even Jesus coin (omg thats an insult)

What do you think?

If you heard UTRUST token, you may consider it looking. It is like Monetha and I think it has a better features. Monetha has sold out during ICO. And this UTRUST will also. Try to read its whitepaper. I'm waiting for their announcement this week when is their ICO.

Yeah I heard utrust is also good but is their ICO already resume? I read it's somehow postponed but I hope everything went fine. Also try to consider wepower, it's a good project for our environment and hope it will attracts more investors for better development of our environment and society.
Recently, I can not confirm a project is good or bad till open crowdsale or after the result of pre-sale. Almost projects are same idea and there are have not any new idea make me interesting.

OH great! Well, I thought you were just advertising something to get paid in tokens after their "ICO" ends and you think there's nothing that could interest you? OMG, that's not a good sign.  Grin

OP, UTrust is seriously looking good because it is one of its own kind of an exchange that will allow "buyers" to send crypto and "sellers" to get paid in fiat, something which is not common in most ICOs and you may get in currently as there are still 27 days left. They have already managed to gather 3.5 Million USD in their first 2 rounds of ICO and the final round is going on where they have accumulated more than 45.5 Million USD which looks like a milestone achieved and there's still a lot more left to be sold out.
523  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: October 02, 2017, 07:42:56 PM
There are many, like:
- It is pseudonymous (not completely anonymous due to the fact that blockchain is a public ledger which makes everything transparent and traceable).
- Every other day, fear of something new happening in miners' minds to just come up with a new fork proposal.
- Sometimes, it drops too much that sometimes explaining the reasons to friends and/or investors become very hard.
- Fee hike in fiat when price literally jumps up as miners may decide not to lower it down in terms of BTC (sometime before when SegWit didn't lock in completely).
- Hackers need your private key and it's gone - it's extremely hard these days to keep up with these online wallets/exchanges which may get hacked any time due to lack of security.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: October 02, 2017, 06:11:55 PM
It is one of the most difficult tasks to be done in our life - CONTROL over yourself even when you know you are doing something wrong.
There are a lot of things in the world which are weird and gambling is one of those things doing which a person loses his capability to stop himself from continuing it, under the influence of addiction. When such things happen, either should you see a guide to help you get out of it or to help you do it for fun and not living, or you should start doing things and keep yourself busy with them which will help you to recover from the distraction it creates in your mind.
525  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin next Target: $4600, $4700 or $4800? on: October 02, 2017, 06:02:51 PM
4600 resistance has become one of the most awaited levels and is going to reach very soon and bitcoins may be seen again over 5k until the end of October. We may see some more downtrend from there once November kicks in but after all that 2x drama settles, we are again good to go and I feel we won't be less than $10k a BTC before this year gets ended.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What the games you play as you earn? on: October 02, 2017, 04:11:14 PM
Question1: Best gambling games you ever in countered please do share it here I really want to try games that are fun and the same you earn Bitcoins?

Question2: can I play games by the use of altcoin or just bitcoins?

I used to play slots which were the best IMHO because I won too much playing it as I had what it takes, extreme luck.
Some games like soccer and cricket were also one of those few games I used to bet over and were fun while being watched, the excitement was enough to establish truthness of my statement.

You can play games using altcoins because there are many sportsbooks as well as casinos that allow you to play there with different altcoins like BLK, ETH, LTC, DOGE, etc.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the most overvalued crypto? on: October 02, 2017, 02:02:49 PM
I am not against WAVES, but I think it's slightly looking overvalued because people trust it just because its decentralized exchange allows users to trade tokens created by them. Still, I feel that it needs a lot to beat the current price and needs to progress further in order to maintain the level it is currently holding because there's not a lot we could find about them (may be an advantage but looks more scammy, still looking more to remain updated and keep up with them as well as their project's development). This is not a criticism but a suggestion for them to make the exchange a bit more transparent to let the volume increase.
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: October 02, 2017, 01:52:17 PM
I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

Yes, they do.
Even if Bitcoin manages to resolve the transaction fee problems, there are still many dramas that pop up over time and people get confused as well as scared that on which side they should go. BCH got released out of a fork and so is Bitcoin Gold going to take place in November. Do we really need these forks to sort out the problems? No.
There are many altcoins which already have these fee and block problems settled way before, so I think they don't need to be underestimated.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ADX] AdEx ICO Speculation on: September 28, 2017, 04:52:34 PM
adex grows hand in hand with neo, do you think there is a direct correlation between them or not?

NEO went from 0.0011 to 0.0125 but ADX has not even doubled completely during its pump (from 14k to 27k).
I think the max it can go is $5-6 because it is not that good, but can be pumped some day to its ATH at 50k because the day since it was listed at Trex, it was never pumped after it went down from 50k to even less than 5k. It's all about speculation and I have seen many saying that ADX could do $30, but that's almost impossible (at least for the near future).
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Have you used TurtleBC? on: September 28, 2017, 02:51:05 PM
Fellas,
I saw, checked and used this website = https://www.turtlebc.com/
Got their trial account and even got a signal from them yesterday but there are still a few things I don't understand.
How to use their signals? I mean I don't get it why they are giving Buy signals on coins that are already pumped, and there are %s shown over there but the coins have not done that much, can anyone make me understand how to use their services properly?
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why India Coin is the best buy hands down on: September 28, 2017, 02:16:06 PM
There have been a few coins that started out based on national identity. They all also thought that they could bank on huge interest from their own people who would go crazy over the offer for a coin that was named after their country. Or related to it anyway. Not all have been "successful". I think only Gulden is the alt that is still surviving and somehow doing well (for Holland) but they have another competitor. Polandcoin also launched but failed.

Indiacoin? 1 billion people but maybe only 1 million rich people. Who knows.

For every coin, whether it holds a national identity or has a different purpose, only a few people get an advantage over all those who buy in greed of gaining some huge (expected) returns but they always get dumped over themselves. It is not the country but the people who back the coin, and this coin is in billion in terms of supply, so price shouldn't be considered cheap still and I doubt such coins will ever get listed on some reputed exchanges.
532  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Are Indian Bitcoin Prices Higher Than International Prices? on: September 28, 2017, 01:21:33 PM
Can you give us any links to backup your claim? I've checked a few Indian exchange sites like coinsecure and zebpay, the prices are currently very close to current market prices.

Zebpay(India) | 1BTC = 271,895INR = $4,149
Coinsecure(India) | 1BTC = 272,000INR = $4151
Coinbase | 1BTC = $4,181.01
Coinmarketcap | 1BTC = $$4178.58

https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/india/

They mean to say that Bitcoins are being sold at premium rates in India.
OP, it is true that Bitcoin holds a "VALUE", but Universal? Where the hell did you read it?
If you consider Bitcoin as an asset, would you sell at lower rates or willing to sell them at lower or equal prices that you are getting at exchanges?
I have seen some P2P trades and done myself, where I get even better rates than these exchanges. That's the beauty of selling this at our own rates, no?
If you are willing to sell them at "UNIVERSAL RATES" and would like to give them to me for $150 less, then I will be glad to buy it from you.
Just take an example, you have a bicycle, I have too. We both are willing to sell it. I am interested in selling it for 10k but you know that your bicycle is in good condition and you can get 5k more on it, would you still sell it at my rate?
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BAT - Basic Attention Token ICO (31-5-17)- Worth Investing? on: September 28, 2017, 12:51:04 PM
Yea, and any waiting is soon over, big developments coming.

I am also tired of such 'scam comments' it's utter bull. This is obviously not a scam coin...
However you are will agree that idea once more browser not so new. But really worked and USED products can count with fingers on one hand. That's why it's not scam - team work hard. But ...

Check this out:
https://basicattentiontoken.org/bat-mercury-pre-launch-technical-update
That's the reason we believe this isn't just another scam coin because the team is really working hard and showing improvements and dedication for their project, a reason why I feel we might see a 2x over the price very soon (Checked at trex that the Buy Volume has increased very much and buy side is looking more stronger than sell). If you have them, hold them and if not, buy them cheap. The drop was bad but a breakout is taking place and the moment it's done, you won't see this under 10k.
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ADX pumping atm! on: September 28, 2017, 12:42:33 PM
So glad I bought this coin before today's pump. I'm expecting it to go even higher in the month of October because of the development release. How much do you guys think the coin will realistically increase by? Some people have been saying $30 or something crazy like that... I don't believe it though

Don't believe them as it is hardly gonna hold even $1 because the collaborations aren't that big in my views. Though, this pump may continue if they want to push it above previous high and make a new ATH for this.

They announced some partnership today, that's the main reason, however I don't think it will be able to make 50k in this run, 25 might be possible

Yeah i heard about it as well. I still keep the ones i gained from bounty campaign. Previous time after the pump, price went down again gradually. I hope it will not happen again this time. I prefer to HODL for long term  Smiley
Adx is a great potential coin with great future. Lucky those who hold their coins until now, surely they earn huge profit. Yes hodling for a long term is also a good decision.

Whether a coin has a potential or not, but I believe that those coins which were not pumped for longer are now randomly being picked by pumpers to just attract people like us to join them and push the price to newer levels. Still, it didn't cross 50k which was its ATH (as said by OP), so I think there's still a possibility for the Hype to extend ahead.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best coin for 2018 that is very cheap now? on: September 27, 2017, 06:39:50 PM
IXT (Insurex) and BTS (Bitshares) both are holding extremely low values (superb undervalued) and I think IXT and BTS both may do a 5 - 10x shot from its current value till mid-2018. Bitshares has a huge potential of processing transactions faster (even more than Bitcoins) and if it manages to transact more than 100k transactions a second, then nothing could stop it to become the King of Crypto in soon time.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what was your best signature campaign recently in earnings on: September 27, 2017, 06:15:53 PM
I joined RLC (iEx.ec) bounty signature campaign a few months back the day they started it. I only expected to get maximum 0.03 - 0.05 worth of tokens per week but I managed to post for them for just one week. But the reward I received from them was just mind-blowing, I received ~1600 tokens from them which were worth BTC0.42 at that time and getting a reward for just one week of advertisement is insane MAN! You just need to be choosy and things come your way and drag you to success.
537  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: September 27, 2017, 05:39:51 PM
Banks do their jobs and Bitcoin does its job, both can't be compared just the way we cannot eliminate fiat in the near future, at least not till the next 10 decades. Banks may stop you from using Bitcoins by closing your accounts but Bitcoin doesn't possess the power to eliminate banks at all because banks work under Governments' control and something which comes under the Government, do you really think they would close it at any cost?
(even I had my account frozen for no reason but just because I used Zebpay exchange here in India and withdrew my fiat in my bank account).
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum price speculation on: September 27, 2017, 05:17:43 PM
So where is the Official ETH speculation thread???

Well all you ETH supporters get out there and shore up the price those fake walls keep backpedaling and all the gains are going down the toilet! Buy Everything you can! The price always reverts, just stop the fall right now!!!

Lolz, they really can't stop it unless those huge investors stop dumping the hell out of it!
They want it to get more down and others start selling it back for them to buy back cheaper which may be the cause why the price is going back to hell. Else, just think that a coin which did 0.14, how come it got dumped all of a sudden to 0.07? BTW, don't forget one more fact that it is still 7x its original price of 0.01, still can't be said undervalued.
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price perspective on: September 27, 2017, 12:35:08 PM
Goodbye $3xxx?? Not even Oct yet.

Why not? 3k was never meant to be touched but it was all a shift of money through Chinese investors which made all this occur.
But as the saying goes, after a storm comes a calm and so, other countries managed to deprive their effect by continuously buying back cheap coins they knew that won't be there for long. It was a delightful treat to those who bought at those prices because I feel this won't be coming now and till forever.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: September 27, 2017, 12:19:13 PM
Maths could help you learn it as well as to effectively put your plans into action while you lose, it can help you calculate them and plan again to recover them slowly but winning? I don't think it's possible for anything, there were many who even said that there is a Science behind gambling and if we understand that, we may win constantly. No subjects could really help except understanding the situations and act accordingly, but they work as a great source and if you control yourself as well as do it with the use of these subjects, you may really cut down an exceptional amount of losses in gambling. So saying that it could help you win is wrong but it can help you not to lose more.
