How would people feel about adding stake to Franko?
Right now the current production half's every 22 years putting us at 500 years for total mint, if we add a 100% yearly stake production will half every 11 years and put us around 250 years. Which is still very fair.

The order book at cryptsy is pretty slim now.
The lowest 100 sell orders is only 914.907582 coins worth 0,36251995 btc. Price range 0.00032951 -> 0.00043959. That is a 33% increase.

I have been against changing the coin spesifications earlier, but I am starting to change my mind.
1. Reducing the block rewards would not be a problem now because the blockchain is already that insecure that it dont make much difference.
2. Earthcoin dont have much credibility to loose.
3. Reducing the huge new supply would make it more attractive to hold the coins.
But how viable is it to change to POS?
My understandig is that Peercoin use POW to distribute coins, but the security of the coin only depends on POS. CGB are depending both on POW and POS to secure the block chain and have plans to make the POW part merge minable.
POS would really fit well with the sustainable og enviromental image of earthcoin. As would merged mining since both would reduce electricity spent securing the block chain

Light wallet may be useful in future, but i think at first we need a wallet that doesn't need 10 minutes to start  . Volume is low, but i'm both mining MRC per GPU and planning to buy more MRC (i always need to wait for my gridseed g-blade to generate new litecoins, i've never used money to buy bitcoins or litecoins directly, so i need to buy in small amounts  ). @shango: I've never sold a single coin. I will hold my coins until about 0,005 USD and then sell only about 20 percent of it because i want to use MRC long term and don't like the pump, dump and forget game . I think it's also great that MRC has no anonymity features because i don't need that when buying stuff for daily use. So halibit, please don't change it . I will not change and microCoin will be there as long there is cryptos. About 10min wallet start. It happen with huge volume coins. Don't actually know why, but I think it is not because number of total coins, but because big volume in transaction block. I don't never close computer & wallet so I have no that issue. Anyway, we need contact to some one who can help to make qt-wallet start faster, or if some one in our community have that kind of wisdom, now you can show it. Remember we have 0 premine and can't dump premined coin on community face for solve this with your money :b Developing microcoin is open for all holders. I just don't have time (and knowledge) to update it asap by my self. Anyway wallet & mining & network & transactions works all fine. I have tried atleast 30 wallets. Microcoin is the only one that takes "forever" to launch. |

Ok great to see there still is a team, but it would be better if it was/is more visible. I suggest to post once a week a brief summary on the progress suggestments news etc etc, always at the same day same time. Even when there's no real news let the people know whats going on behind the scenes, it will create trust. It will trigger more dicussions here on this forum instead of eartcointalk where it's not visible enough to the big public, earthcointalk came to early IMO we are not bitcoin or litecoin yet. I think it's damn shame that a coin with so much progress (great name, beautifull site, transaction messages, once a big community, earthazaar etc etc) dropped down to 208 on coinmarketcap. A good and visible dev team will regain trust and will attrack investors.

Any prediction for ANC price after ZC implant, and at the end of 2014 ? let's spin few pages here Its hard to guess since we don't know much about the services meeh is developing in addition to gnosis zerocoin implementation. My guess is that the price will be stable for 2 weeks before speculators will start to accumulate as much anc as possible before the implementation is done driving the price up. |

The coin is dead!
If you look at future potensial at least 99% of all alt coins are dead. Even those not created yet. Anoncoin is not among them. Why? 1. Because it have active DEVELOPMENT. (Development is not the same as active copy-pasting) 2. It is not created soley to enrich the developeres. |
