I guess this is what v3 uni is going to really help in the future.
Maybe LIGHT just jumped when you authorized?
Are you sure? I just had an exchange experience on Uniswap last week. And with my experience, there were no slippage warning. We will have 2 authorization attempts. The first time, we approve exchange for the currency you want. The second time, we approve the transaction fee that you must pay to make the exchange. No warning for slippage.

And if that happened, certainly he ignore it because he didn't really care what happened  Cheesy
522  Other / Meta / Re: Pre-Legendary VS Legendary Merit Stats on: March 29, 2021, 01:23:40 PM
Users who complain about merits don't actually do this because of the merits themselves but because they need a higher forum rank to be able to participate in better paid signature campaigns.
There is no other reason to complain about merits or forum rank.
Absolutely, you are right in this respect. In general, merit works to increase rank and is an aspect for users to join in signature campaigns. But not all users, some users at high rank still want to receive merit on a regular basis. Simply, they want to be commended, they want their activities to be recognized, and they want to be helpful for everyone. Some merits won't help you rank-up, but it can make you feel good, right?

But admit that you don't know when someone else will send you merit  Cheesy Sometimes I do a few post to help or analyze the situation, namely do something useful. Then I would think: "hey guys, come here and look at my post, honor it, send merit now!", but things don't turn out like that, nothing. On the contrary, I am often surprised when I get some merit with posts that I don't think it can. In short, merit is something that is assessed subjectively, should not complain when we receive or not receive, does not matter  Cheesy

Amazingly, I read that this car is also capable of accelerating to 100km / h in just 2.8 seconds and can reach speeds of 280Km / hour. The components that make up Formula E don't seem to be as complicated as Formula 1. Apart from that, my country's original plan was to hold it for 5 consecutive years, but this is still a polemic. For 2020 the plan was in June but all failed due to Covid-19. For 2021 I haven't heard of it.
Yup, me too. Through this article, I learned about the existence of formula E. But I hear a lot about Formula 1 and its disadvantages. All the technologies and engines in Formula 1 will be restricted in the community. Formula 1 requires specialized tools and parts, and since it is very expensive. I think formula E will be superior someday, because it's better than formula 1
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Slippage madness? on: March 29, 2021, 08:41:00 AM
I'm checking now the LIGHT whitepaper for the case that LIGHT applies fees itself on sellers. If that's not the case, then I have fell victim of a scam I don't even understand. Huh
No, they are not deceiving you. Where did you check the price chart? Coinmarketcap? I can be sure that the slippage has occurred while you are on the trade. Even the hash you provide shows that the LIGHT value you give is just over $ 800.
Here is a picture of the slippage that I can see.

Price is down 25%, exactly matching the amount you see compared to the amount you get. It's possible that the chart you've seen before hasn't been updated hourly, so you haven't seen its slippage.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 29, 2021, 08:11:01 AM
It really depends on if the platform you are advertising in your signature space is applying withdrawal fees. Some of them are, some of them are not applying such fees. Our platform (Chips.gg) is not applying any withdrawal fees, so it is completely free. In this case it makes sense to withdrawal directly to your wallet.
Really? I haven't even tried withdrawing there, I just got the first payment. But if they don't ask for a withdrawal fee, it'll be great if we keep money there. We can transfer money anywhere and anytime without any cost.
But most casinos charge a fee, maybe Chips.gg will do that soon too
Actually that's a good idea if they want to save the fees but that will stop the feature of everyone who wants to withdraw on instant and if they're known for having instant withdrawals.
Not really, as some casinos have 2 withdrawal options. 1 with low cost and 1 with high cost. With low cost, they will wait a little, with high cost, they will be paid right away. Also, since casinos always have a huge customer base, it's easy to have multiple customers withdraw at the same time.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: too much of a loss while swapping - where did it go? on: March 28, 2021, 11:37:50 AM
So you lost almost 400 dollars on this trade? This is crazy  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked It's impossible. What a pity for you!

Have you tried contacting their customer service and asking for support? In this case, in order to get the most detailed and accurate explanation, there is no other way, you must get the answer from them.

I have never used it, but for regular exchange services, they will show the estimated value you can get, have you checked it before making exchange? (Maybe you didn't consider it?). Can you provide a hash here to review the transactions you made? Recently, I use Uniswap, although I think the fee I have to pay is expensive, it just stops at a maximum of 60 $ (Expensive with small transactions). But it is impossible for a trade to cost you nearly $ 400. It's ridiculous. You need to contact them immediately!

There could be another cause as well, but I'm not sure. I used to deposit more than 30k Thrive coin into an exchange (Kucoin), but when that amount shows up in this exchange, it's just over 22k. I asked for their support right after. And the answer is that the amount of Thrive coin I lost is the transaction fee that I have to pay to load into the platform (I mean pay miners). That means I have to bear transaction fees other than ETH. I don't know what currency you swap and how it works. But the same thing might have happened to you. In short, you need to ask them  Wink

Additional, I cannot find LIGHT on Pancakeswap
527  Other / Off-topic / Re: Formula E on: March 28, 2021, 09:04:08 AM
F1 is the most common, F E on the other hand despite having some advantages over F1 is not that notorious. I do think it is all a matter of choice plus there are restrictions in many countries.
Thank you very much! But unlike you said, the details in the image say that Formula 1 is completely superior to Formula E. Am I wrong?
Electric car race. I have small information about this when reading it on wikipedia
I'm expected if the casino will put that Formula E on the bet it will get the more player to watch on race.
It is really the first time I've heard of such races. Electric car hasn't really become a popular vehicle yet, so I never thought there would be races on it. But if it's a race, I don't think there will be a difference between the two genres  Roll Eyes
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 28, 2021, 08:24:04 AM
Not that really but thanks for that. IIRC, there were some that actually have a fixed price in fees and that's what I've thought of them when I've read the other gamblers told that they have that type of fee. But you are right that the fees which are dynamic, they're the actual miners fee.
I also want to add a bit more information  Cheesy about the fee you are charged when you withdraw your funds, certainly it is not enough to cover the fees for making your withdrawals, so what is the solution for the casinos? No solid evidence, but I guess, they will implement the "pay to many" feature. Withdrawal requests will be put on the stack, wait for sufficient quantity and will be executed once only. In this way, they only pay 1 transaction fee and send money to many customers. Perhaps it is the reason that withdrawal requests often have timeouts to process.

Anyway, it's just my personal opinion, it's not accurate information, so don't really bother  Wink

I must confess that this is the first time I've heard of Formula E  Cheesy Between Formula 1 and Formula E, which one is more common? When I talk about races, I often hear the Formula 1 or Moto GP. Strictly speaking, I don't seem to have had access to any information about those tournaments in my country.
Maybe I can hear some information here lol  Cheesy keep my eye here
530  Other / Meta / Re: Pre-Legendary VS Legendary Merit Stats on: March 27, 2021, 05:31:10 PM
...unless of course you have been on this forum for a very long time, many years, and you have earned your status based on old merits  Cheesy
When the merit system was introduced I didn't think it was a good idea, it even seemed unfair to new members, but the merit system obviously helped to distinguish quality members who write good posts and those who work less and don't contribute much to the forum.
Ya, maybe, or maybe not. I agree that merit is not something that is easy to get and rank-up. With what I've been through, it's really hard. Sometimes I don't know how to get merit from someone else. But look at the bright side, there are a lot of people who created an account after the merit system launched, but they are still doing well, they still rank up quickly, and now become one of the reputable forum members. Not uncommon, you can find. So, why do they do it? Because they are really good at bringing benefits to the community. Unlike me, they know what to do. So the merit system may make it difficult for everyone, but it should not be an excuse for people to complain. Until now, it is making this forum more amazing than ever. So nothing is unfair  Wink
531  Other / Meta / Re: Pre-Legendary VS Legendary Merit Stats on: March 27, 2021, 09:21:30 AM
Unfortunately a lot of what gets written by Newbie-Jr. Members tends to be unreadable garbage (or at least too mediocre to warrant giving merits to).
I think it stems from their experience in writing articles. Newbies often don't take the content of their posts seriously. I just received a question about how to earn merit in the local language section (by a newbie). Meaning they really don't know how to make their writing work well, just post to earn  Roll Eyes

Even without the merit system, it took almost three years for me to get there if my arithmetic is correct.  That's why nowadays it's almost impossible for the average member to achieve Legendary status.  You'd have to be very committed to the forum for a very long time frame in order to do it, and I suspect many members have just given up on trying.
If I remember correctly, the old hierarchy depends on active time + post. It's why there are so many spammers  Cheesy And it's really hard to rank up now. If I started as a new member, I would be a full member right now  Cheesy Really hard  Cheesy
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 27, 2021, 07:49:08 AM
They might have the fixed price fees as you want to transfer that to your own wallet.
I think you have misinterpreted this matter. They don't make profit through the fees you pay when you withdraw your money. It is the fee you pay miners to make deposit/withdrawal transactions. It is like sending BTC to another address and you have to pay fees. Do you understand? Don't think they profit from it, it's a mistake  Wink
I'm paying like 1us  to 2 usd per transaction, and I think its okay as it could confirm in less than 24 hours, but I do it with timing when the network is not too congested and the fee will drop a bit.
I also aim to swap BTC to other currencies to minimize transaction fees. ETH could be a good choice (higher in this time). But I have a better option, XRP, although not all casinos support XRP withdrawals.
533  Other / Meta / It is LoyceV's fault on: March 26, 2021, 06:14:00 PM
So you're saying it's my fault?
lol, for sure  Grin Grin it is your fault when you are the greatest source of merit  Grin your fault when you sent merit to too many people  I prefer an AI that doesn't make mistakes, and you are a special AI, you made a basic mistake
534  Other / Meta / Re: DO F*CKING EDIT IT on: March 26, 2021, 06:02:36 PM
Now try to do it 8000 times, usually with multiple tabs to send sMerit to many selected posts at once. Add in some mouse acceleration and the fact that I don't want to spend several seconds (times 8000!) on each link, and it's bound to fail once in a while.
Yes, I know, I just want to say that people usually click on part 2. I am not claiming that it did not happen  Cheesy that's why I put the word "sometimes" there. Maybe I should emphasize so people can pay attention to it  Grin

unless we are really meticulous and want to click on it (or sometimes)
To be fair, my biggest sMerit mistake wasn't caused by the default zero...
Yup, it is the point. We shouldn't blame merit's page  Cheesy

Now, I want to do a little analysis of why we don't need a change. Let's take a look at image below. Number 0 is located on the leftmost side of the input field. It mean, our job is clicking on it and enter the next number. So, is it hard for us to click after number 0? NO, IT"S VERY EASY. We don't seem to get a chance to click on part 1, because it's too small, unless we are really meticulous and want to click on it (or sometimes). As for part 2, I bet we'll click to it even if we don't focus. Even, I can play a track and still click on part 2. Do you understand what I mean? It's designed that we click and enter what we need in the next part, no deletion, no changes required.

So, my opinion, keep it there, don't change anything, it's not necessary  Wink

Come here and honor me, theymos, sendddddddddddd me merits  Grin Grin Grin Grin
536  Other / Meta / DON'T F*CKING EDIT IT on: March 26, 2021, 04:49:43 PM
How about let the default value be 1 and make +  - buttons
You think, between clicking multiple times and entering any one or two numbers, which one will be easier?

Personally, I find that changing 0 to 1 is not necessarily the right decision. Maybe it is suitable for those who regularly send 1 merit, only 1 merit. But what about others? if they forget that they have to remove number 0, they also forget that they have to remove number 1 or 2 or 3 or 4, ... It will cause them to send more merits than currently.
So, what is the idea? Very easy, just by 1 click. Just click after 0, it is always correct. What do you want to enter next?
1 -> 01
2 -> 02
3 -> 03
10 -> 010
15 -> 015
It won't be any mistakes if you remember where you have to click, right? No need to change anything except your click position, so why change this system so that bigger mistakes can happen? With number 1, 5 -> 15 (which one is more harmful?)

I guess it was also the original purpose of programmers, no need to change  Cheesy

Edit: Sorry, it seems I echoed LoyceV's opinion. I have not read the comments below  Roll Eyes

538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 26, 2021, 12:09:02 PM
... but the platforms on which we receive our income must be trusted.
Not all, but most of the platforms promoting through signature campaigns on these forums are reputable. They spend thousands of dollars each week on advertising, there's no way they can scam your little money  Cheesy

Both has a point about the fees and as well as keeping it on our private wallets. If you're too conscious for the fees, you wait until the fee goes down.
But if you value your coin and you want to transfer it to your own wallet and don't care about the fee, you do it.
Some campaigns pay you through a personal address, but others pay through their platforms. I am working for a platform that make payment through their platform. This will cost me a little money for withdrawal fees. Personally, I prefer to receive payments through my personal address, as it is easier to manage  Wink
539  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Facebook ads on: March 26, 2021, 10:34:54 AM
Like BitMaxz said, using VCC to use Facebook ads is not a good option. I used it too and was locked. I also had the idea of hiring people from another country to advertise. However, payments in one country and advertising in another are also not allowed. Therefore, I think using BTC and hiring VCC is not a good choice to do.

So if you want you can sell your btc to paypal to someone here on the forum perhaps?
I like this idea, and I'm in need of Bitcoin, I have some Paypal right now, would be happy if OmegaStarScream wanted to use it  Cheesy
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 25, 2021, 03:52:48 PM
To be fair, I'm not a gambler, but I would recommend to send the coins directly from the plattforms to your own private wallets. This is the best way in my opinion to make the most out of it.
You're not a gambler, but that doesn't mean other people aren't gambling either. Furthermore, your advice is not very good either. Looking at the very moment, the price of BTC is very high, the fee for withdrawing money from a platform to the wallet is very expensive. So to maximize our income, we just need to keep the money there until we really need it. Withdrawing a large amount of money is better than spending a lot of transaction fees for many different times  Wink
