Hey guys, I know this question was asked a million times, but how do I unlock my wallet for minting? It is not encrypted, so I don't have a passcode. Am I missing something? This is my first time holding a coin long enough to actually want to start minting. Thanks in advance for the help  If it's not locked you don't have to unlock it. It will mint automatically. And when will minting start/how will I know how many coins I have Minted? Not sure when minting will start. I think it is supposed to start after block 5000, or maybe not until after all POW is done. You will see staked coins in the line in the wallet that says stake. They will be held there (not available for transactions) until the stake is confirmed 520 blocks. Then they will go back to your available balance. You should see minted coins as a transaction the the ledger. So they won't be spendable until 520 blocks after they are minted? Just like mining rewards have to be confirmed before spending, so does stake. Also stake will hold a portion of your balance, the coins that generated the stake also. If you want keep coins spendable (and not let them stake) from the console type reservebalance <amount> will keep this amount in reserve so you can always have it available to spend. those coins will not generate stake. It didn't work, are you sure that's the command? |

I agree, we don't have anything against him either. He has been a great supporter of cryptos over the years, however many of our members got severely burned from buying into Maxcoin too early. That major dump could have only been one group of people. It seems fairly likely that it was the insiders to me. We still enjoy watching his show and support his efforts, however achieving a fair launch is not difficult as evidenced by the launch of AKC!  |

My autopay threshold just got hit on CryptoCoinz and the coins never made it to my wallet.... Nice. Anyone else have this issue?
Hey! Andrew from CryptoCoinz here. BlackCoin has a 500-block maturity time. This means that it takes 500 blocks (about 8.5 hours) for any blocks you earn to be paid out. This is a restriction of the coin itself, mind you, and not the pool. HOWEVER, please note (as it says in the giant blue box at the top of our page) we have temporarily turned off auto payments to ensure we don't run into any snaffus like this. We're going to audit the system in the morning, and if it seems fine, run everyone's payments all at once under a keen eye. If you don't wish to wait, manual payouts will be on the entire time. Please let us know if you have any further issues! Cheers, Andrew I think I was just tripping out a bit and thought my coins hit the threshold, my bad! So we are then forced to leave our coins in the pool overnight? I'm gonna be sweatin' in my sleep and hoping the coins are there in the morning! I know the feeling; nobody can tell you to trust us I wish I could change it, but EVERY pool will be that way due to the nature of the coin's maturity system (it's extreme!). If it'd make you feel better, feel free to come talk to us on irc.freenode.net in #crypto-coinz - we're real people mining on the same system! At CC, there are only two people that have access to any hot wallets (you know, as a failsafe, in case one of us ever gets hit by a bus): myself and Anthony, the owner of the Datacenter.
