521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you identify a transparent project team? on: October 15, 2019, 11:32:41 AM
If the project is a scam, it would be really silly of its team to show their true identities. In most cases, they just find some pics online and use them as the images of their “Chief Financial Officers” or “advisors,” as was seen  in Empire Card who used a picture of French actress Sabine de Poncins, little known outside of France, as the portrait of their proud imaginary CEO Patricia Harrison. There have even been reports of .

A project can still use real image and be a scam. For example, Miracle Tele, had used real images and ended up scamming investors. True identities are no guarantee for a project not to scam. Some persons don't care about reputation, they really don't have any reputation to protect, theirs is to cash on the project. Check most of the ICO that bountyhives promoted, they collected money and when some manage to get listed, the token prices went dead and threw investors into debt.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we buy new token or coin? on: October 15, 2019, 11:23:27 AM
When coins are newly listed, some persons believe they have the potential to give some profit as traders tend to join the FOMO, and team bring in their support in trading for the coin to probably to well known ahead of the road map execution, Some newly listed coins have performed well in the short interim benefiting some wise traders before a major price decline. We saw this in most Binance IEO and some Kucoin IEO. It's majorly for profit taking that traders buy newly listed coins.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra unveils official backers, future uncertain on: October 15, 2019, 11:18:10 AM
One of the hallmarks of successful people is they give up even if they can be facing a very strong opposition from the whole world. Once they

One of the hallmarks of successful people is "they don't give up even...."  Okay, I think you intended to say " they don't give up", you can edit that.  Libra has faced many oppositions and the very launching is been threatened. Despite all these many scrutiny from the government they are still trying to scale through, it's a good virtue to imbibe as a tireless fighter. They should allow Libra to launch so as to send some traditional banks packing. I will be going to court to get a court order in order to recall my money that has been hanging in my local bank for 3 years now. Banks are brutal and they show little or no mercy for depositor's fund.
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP Claim the #2 Position? on: October 14, 2019, 03:35:52 PM
Ripple has been in the 2nd spot before, with the many HYPE around it, it may displace ETH from the 2nd position again. ETH network has always been a major issue and continue to be slow. I can't tell how long XRP may be able to hold the second spot if ever makes it there again. Fingers crossed.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this still possible today? on: October 14, 2019, 03:28:58 PM
Very well possible for a coin that will initially allow an organic growth without pumping the market value and seeing a free fall, when road maps are been executed and promised fulfilled, people will have more trust to trading the coin with some level of support from the team.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Things Successful ICOs Have in Common. on: October 14, 2019, 03:15:33 PM
The two factors you just listed are not a guarantee for a success project these days. Times have changed and people are non-longer moved by HYPE and ROAD MAPs.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin equal Blockchain? on: October 11, 2019, 01:07:52 PM
Bitcoin is digital gold that runs on the technology called the blockchain. It was necessary for bitcoin to run on the blockchain because the technology is tampered proof, and transactions on it are immutable. Blockchain spreads across various works of lives.
528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tobacco shops - the way to Bitcoin adoption on: October 11, 2019, 01:04:23 PM
Tobacco industry is one of the most lucrative business in the world despite the fact the Federal ministry of health in my country has a caution that smokers are liable to die young. Millions of dollars are been made from Tobacco sales in my country. Every sector will be moved to accept bitcoin in the future for ease of transactions.
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Worrying about the Bitcoin Price on: October 10, 2019, 04:55:42 PM
Although we are advised that bitcoin shouldn't be seen a get rich quickly scheme, it's however turning many rich and lifting them from the poverty zone and self sufficiency at a faster time than first thought. We it's important to concentrate on the technology and never to take off eyes on the economic rewards.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 10, 2019, 04:47:12 PM
People necessarily don't take out time to make any research and after falling for q cheap scam, they cry out. Some persons are still investing in cloud mining with a very high returns at this current state of the market. And such investors say nothing last forever, that even bitcoin will soon be replaced by another coin. How gullible they their thinking is.
531  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: October 09, 2019, 12:19:58 PM
Some project are already building cryptocurrency banks with multiple functionality ranging from market place, exchange, loan and many others. What more does bank offer that a good crypto banks can't offer? Traditional banks can conveniently be replaced.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I access my BTC and other wallets on Public Internet Cafe on: October 09, 2019, 12:17:19 PM
Wow, this is a time bomb, as it's very risky. I think the Cyber Cafe operator or admin can monitor what goes on their system and they can tab on your activities if they want to. This is a risky game. It's better never to use Cafe for wallet related issues.
533  Economy / Economics / Re: Conservation Law on: October 08, 2019, 09:40:32 AM
I doubt this apply to our fraudulent economy that is heavily manipulated to enrich the very few and enslave others. This law you quoted is one of the laws of Thermodynamics. Our supply, distribution and demand are not balance.
534  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining in the cloud vs simply buying bitcoin on: October 08, 2019, 09:35:15 AM
I rather buy bitcoin than getting involve in cloud mining that has no contract guarantee, cancelling contract and stealing money when the odds are high. Cloud mining is filled with scammers. Even reputable cloud miners can scam still.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing new. on: October 08, 2019, 09:28:31 AM
One thing that has impress me on few wallets is atomic swap functionality, the ability to convert my token to bitcoin or without going through a centralized exchange that may ask for KYC when just making small conversion or that may charge me high fee. As for DEX, the ability to trade without first depositing and no need to withdraw after trading because it's sent directly to my private wallet unlike IDEX Folkdelta. Most wallet and DEX are shit!
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!!! 51% attacked in SOUTHXCHANGE !!!! DO YOU KNOW 51 % ATTACK >???? on: October 07, 2019, 07:45:57 PM
We have many suspicious and unserious exchanges that we shouldn't entrust with our valuable asset. I have never traded here before and I don't which to trade to trade there.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: REQUEST FOR GAS FEE TO GET PAID ARE SCAM. on: October 07, 2019, 07:41:50 PM
Any project that request you pay gas to send your airdrop token, is a pure scam. They are actually saying they lack the capacity to make the project successful. Only neophyte fall for such cheap scam.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hack any wallet? on: October 03, 2019, 02:23:04 PM
It's very impossible for it to ever work. Even though you mistakenly get the passphrase correctly (practically impossible), how about the order of arrangement? It's actually never worth trying.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -CONTRADICTION- ? on: October 03, 2019, 02:18:42 PM
I preach Cryptocurrency and I trade it, I have conducted an introductory lectures on it on several platforms for free even though I may not have a tangible evidence at the moment to show that Cryptocurrency works and the need to embrace it.
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If they can print unlimited fiat, can they just not buy up all the bitcoin? on: October 03, 2019, 02:04:10 PM
This money that is been printed is not gifted to one man or a single organization to use for whatever they like to. The money is suppose to be plugged into the economy for daily business, One person can't just wake up and use the money not available to him to try and buy up bitcoin, if it was possible, the price of bitcoin will just rise beyond every imagination. Although the world economy Mafias do share printed money that are meant for bailout during a troubled economy like we saw in Greece.
