521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: cash remains the only option if there's an emergency on: October 21, 2015, 08:20:58 PM
If there is a real emergency or some sort of epidemic then even cash is useless. I'd be moving with my Glock, that'd be the only way to survive Smiley

Yeah, you want guns, dogs, food stocks, medical supplies, a large group of people who you can trust.  Then you work on rebuilding society.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 21, 2015, 08:16:37 PM

Gambling will pay based on the risk we take. So how much risk we take that much reward we can expect from gambling. Gambling is not at all luck based, but if we have through knowledge then making big bitcoin or money from gambling must be a easy task.

You think gambling is not at all luck based?  Lol!  I haven't heard stuff like this since people used to tell me there was skill to betting on dice.  Of course gambling is luck based, that is why people keep coming back to it.

If its a -ev bet then i think its 100% pure luck unless you can argue that you skillfully picked the game with the least house edge.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: October 21, 2015, 08:14:55 PM
It isn't exactly true that everyone loses in the long run.  The correct phrasing would be, most people lose in the long run due to probability and stats.  There are always a few lucky people who bend that rule though.

This is exactly why I wrote my post, please read it. No one can bend the rules. We are talking about casino games with house edge of course. Some other games, like sports betting, poker, prediction ones, they require certain skill and research (although you generally lose there too). But at least in those, in theory, you are the one choosing based on facts or just plain knowledge.

If you find poker games with zero rake or 100% rakeback it probably isnt even right to call it gambling, a very average player could beat a game like that in the long run.  Its hard to find games with no rake/100% rakeback but for example on a site like stars the FPP games are a no rake game with plenty of players.
524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you see bitcoin in 10 years on: October 20, 2015, 06:30:26 PM
I see it ran by a bank, What do you think?

If so thats fine we have the option to create new currency very easy and since the world would run on something very similar (bitcoin) it wouldnt be hard to get that control back again.  Alot easier then getting the control back while the world runs via fiat systems.
525  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting on Elections on: October 20, 2015, 05:46:16 PM
I was wondering... nowadays you can even bet on the weather conditions and stuff... so is there any site where we can bet on candidates for the elections?

If you can bet on jeremy corbyn to be the next prime minister of UK, its pretty much in the bag i dont know what game the mainstream is playing but they are shilling him hard for a reason.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: October 20, 2015, 05:41:01 PM
over 1.5 goals yeah I think it's very good and in fact I think this match will be over 2.5 goals. I hope the game exciting and a lot of goals Wink
win with the small odds is more better than nothing
but i think Arsenal is under pressure now because they already lost twice and if they lost again they have to says good bye to champion league

Huge game for arsenal tonight however against a team as strong as bayern i rate their chances as slim to win.  They might play very well sure but still lose/draw.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 19, 2015, 02:33:02 PM
Swansea City vs Stoke City over 2.5 goals @2.18 looking crazy but i think that is best way to place bet on this match.

That pick looking risky for this match but anything can happen in any match like yesterday Newcastle vs Norwich, i also give try to over 2.5 goals in tonight match.

Newcastle were a big shock to get so many goals, very lucky by them Norwich were the better side for long periods and could have easy won the game.
528  Economy / Gambling / Re: www.chopcoin.io - The new interactive Bitcoin game! on: October 19, 2015, 02:30:43 PM
I love this game, but my laptop heats up awfully fast. Does anyone else have problem with that?

Not really, my laptop heats way faster with bitcoin wallet open of if playing multiple media sources.  You can clean laptop to stop over heat.

I use MultiBit so i don't have this problem Wink You have right i have to clean my laptop (I do this usually every 6 months) but for me it is easily noticeable that during this game processor heats up more than with other similar games. Just saying.. Wink

Only problem is cleaning most laptops is a total nightmare by design so you dont bother and just buy a new laptop.  Evidence of planned obsolescence me thinks.

533  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000usd/btc or bust on: October 14, 2015, 08:53:50 AM
Did everyone forget the dream?? I keep hearing people talk about $250---$270---$300---$500.. fuck that! We've crushed those numbers before. It's pretty sad we've come so low, but you guys need to remember the dream of $10k/btc. If that dream isn't realized then btc has failed as far as I'm concerned

We just need extra time to make that dream happen, i cant see it on the next bubble at the halving but maybe the year after or the 2020 halving would be good for 10k.  Im hodling for way more than $500 etc if that makes you feel better.
534  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Middle age flat earth hoax by atheists on: October 14, 2015, 08:50:36 AM
Maybe the world really is flat.  We just preceive it as being egg like.  After all the universe from what some say fold on itsself.  Would and may give a preception of the world being round.   LoL.

I think the vsauce video posted in another flat earth thread i found on here was a nice way to explain the flat earth situation:

536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN the PORN and GAMBLING future? on: October 14, 2015, 08:40:59 AM
What do you think ?

What do I think? Perfect combination Grin Porn and gambling will help bitcoin go on mainstream as well (especially porn) but I'm worried bitcoin will be also the criminals' future.   Undecided

Too many interested legit business folk in bitcoin for it just to be a bunch of crims.  Gambling and porn do work really well though, i think gambling section for the most part is a very legit business type.
537  Economy / Gambling / Re: VOTE! What is the best bet size for you? on: October 13, 2015, 05:53:59 PM

Min bet in something like dice is fine at 1 satoshi sincce people like to ave fun with systems like martingale.  Sports betting or poker with 1 satoshi seems a little low.

539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: October 13, 2015, 05:02:42 PM
If you think Messi will be in jail for 22 months you are a fool. He's in his prime form right now. He'll break all records left in these 2 years. Cheesy

Messi probably could bribe out the whole Spanish high court with just one of his monthly salaries lol  Cool

Yeah, perhaps those millionaire players should play the taxes sometimes and do not evade it every year like they do.

Yeah in all seriousness messi has about as much chance as jail as ross ulbricht did of getting off free of charge.  Some rich elite bastard is going to love football and want to see messi play for next few years.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: October 13, 2015, 04:58:47 PM
Safest bet for today, with 90% sureness is Begium wins Israel @ 1.36
Correct score- 2-0 or 3-0

Belgium are an easy side to pick to beat anyone atm, so many great players come along at one time. Fifa rankings have them as 3rd best in the world you could argue they are the best.
