Looking at the source, I don't see anything that would limit this coin to just 10m total coins generated.
But if that's the case, only 10m coins, it will all be mined out by the end of the day.
And the difficulty is not changing quick enough, causing too many rejects.
look at main.cpp
int64 static GetBlockValue(int nHeight, int64 nFees)
{
int64 nSubsidy = 500 * COIN;
nSubsidy >>= (nHeight / 10000);
return nSubsidy + nFees;
}
block cnt coins/block sum
10000 10000 500 5000000
20000 10000 250 2500000
30000 10000 125 1250000
40000 10000 62 620000
50000 10000 31 310000
60000 10000 15 150000
70000 10000 7 70000
80000 10000 3 30000
90000 10000 1 10000
100000 10000 0 0
9940000I saw that too!
It's Perfect
lil less than 10M total makes this coin even rarer than I thought! Just look at the price of BitBar, MasterCoin, etc. This will blow up, only question is "when" not if.
The
http://ydc.hashes4.me/ pool stole 300k of the coins I generated.
They took it as a pool fee, all in one go, 300k gone.
My guess is the pool operator is also the coin creator, as well as the various (newbie) accounts that responded to this thread. They are paying bounties to their own accounts.
Screenshot it because I think your lying to hate on their coin. This coin is legit
They paid me today over 10,000 YDC coins
Hey MikeG how long did it take u to mine that many YDC coins
I only have a 7750 video card at the moment & now im sitting here smoking a cig debating on whether or not I should start mining YDC coins
How many would I get if u could estimate I know an approxpiate # may not be possible to say but close is good 4 me
thx
Well I'm using a 7850 2GB MSI Twin Frozr overclocked to 1170 core and 5700 memory (lil above stock voltage) and it took very little time for me to get 10k YDC coins. The 7750 isn't a bad card for gaming but it is slow for mining.
However take in fact that with competition being so low, you can mine with a 6450 and still get good results lol
I say go for it
YDC to the moon!
