521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: November 29, 2022, 03:52:02 PM
Goal Castelelleto in 1st half makes me optimism Cameroon will win the match. I bet for them, And happy when hope they will create more goals during the match, but everything was changed after 1st half almost finished. I don't know why Cameroon defenders are very careless and scattered when can not cover the defense, and their defender is also very slow to come back from the front. We know they play offensive but, it's not balanced when compared to the solidity player from Serbia which makes them control and the match. Both now are in a difficult position, they must win in the last match.
I have to say it's world cup and everything is matter of seconds or minutes in this game and sometimes it's going to be a shocking situation. Sometimes you can lead and lose your lead, sometimes you lead first, then other team leads then you may end up retaking the lead, anything is possible.

We have seen so many upsets and unexpected scores already in just this world cup, imagine if you looked at all world cups and how many you would see that is unexpected. So all in all, it is not going to be easy to bet on these games, they are really not going to be that much easy to win money from betting on these games, it will definitely be a bit of a trouble.
522  Economy / Economics / Re: Corrupt people in crypto on: November 29, 2022, 10:15:30 AM
If the scammers are anonymous and haven't been caught out on the past then they can always return with another new identity once their old scam business have been busted out and not only newbies are affected here but even the people who have been here before or the people who already have experience may still get caught out by their scams if they change their approach because there is also pro crypto players who likes to venture new and risky stuffs thinking that no bad things will happen to them because they already have an experience in this field but they shouldn't be over confident and underestimate the ability of the scammers.
That's what they usually do, they end up scamming people and then get a new name and scam people again. It is clear that if someone realizes they could steal money from others and actually make a profit from it and nothing happens to them, they will keep doing that for a long time.

I hope that we wouldn't see more scammers but as long as there are gullible people who fall for others, we are not going to really get less scammers. Hopefully one day we will see a lot less scammers but it will not be that easy and it will be a ton of issues at the same time. It's not something that can be stopped, and I am guessing that it's going to be a trouble forever.
523  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC's market price go? on: November 29, 2022, 09:19:01 AM
Some say that the price of $ 15k-$ 16k is the lowest price for bitcoin at the moment but there is still a possibility that the price will drop to $ 10k-$ 13k. And as long as there is still negative news circulating and global conditions are still showing no progress, the crypto market can still get an impact and that will make the crypto market fall even deeper. But if some positive news shows market sentiment for other commodities starting to improve, maybe the crypto market will also increase. But I don't know, the current situation is very difficult to predict and this time, the bitcoin price has really gone wild and our analysis could be wrong in predicting.
I am one of those people, even though I agree that there is a possibility it could drop a lot lower, I also agree that it's not going to be that easy to drop anything under those levels. I prefer to see the good in bitcoin and that means I am always bullish about it. Even when I know that there is a possibility of the price going down, there is also a chance that it could always go up and stay like that and then keep going up.

I like to think about that side of things, it makes me feel a lot better. Yes it is not that easy and yes it will require a ton of things for us to be just going up and up constantly, but why not imagine that's the case, worst case I will hold some more.
524  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC, more closer bullish days ahead. on: November 28, 2022, 08:59:02 PM
As far as I understand what he means, bitcoin is not the main investment which means we need to diversify our investments. Diversify not with altcoins but with asset diversification in gold or real estate. There is no such thing as an absolute safe investment, so you need to divide your eggs into several baskets.

Bitcoin is not the best asset but the one that gives the biggest return and we should take advantage of the drop to accumulate it as much as we can.
That is not a terrible idea, I will not use it but I wouldn't be against people who use it neither. I feel like there is a good chance you could make a profit if you keep investing into multiple different sources of assets. There are a million different ways you could use your money and if you do have that much money then you could do it.

I believe that it's better to just buy bitcoin and a few others for a smaller amount, and that's my personal one, and I agree that not many people could possibly see that, but if you invest and diversify, that's not a bad idea neither and I feel like it should be quite entertaining if you know what you are doing.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 28, 2022, 07:23:33 PM
That was a hail mary bet for me and in my mind, I might lose the bet, but I trusted the remaining players of the 76ers will be able to handle Orlando. And they did not fail me. Even without their starters, they still performed to the highest level, and I was glad because that made my parlay win. A good start for the week for me.
After the failure in the second quarter, Orlando's chances of winning were greatly reduced, they were never able to recover and close this gap. A 30-point win is significant considering the 76ers, were playing without their starters. And for the Magic, this is already the 15th defeat. The 76ers will host Atlanta in the next game, who has any idea, can they beat them at home?
It's normal, in most of the NBA teams when one team goes into first half ending with a big margin, they end up winning, we do hear a lot of second half comebacks because they are newsworthy and that should be the clear sign of why it's rare, because if it was such a common thing then we would not hear about it all the time, since it would not be a news worthy thing.

All in all, I do gamble live sometimes based on first half score, that's why it was such an expected result for me and I made a end return, betting on the winner of the first half on all games "usually" make you a profit in the long run, even if you lose here and there time to time.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 28, 2022, 04:33:21 PM
I won't believe that Chelsea is done with the season as we can notice that their performance has dropped even though Chelsea play stable football in some of their matches this season. But in total their overall performance has been poor this season.
Chelsea still has the opportunity to improve their performance in the second half of the season so it will be more specific if everyone concludes Chelsea's performance when the second half of the season has started, because changes in the performance of each team when the second half of the season starts again will definitely occur and Chelsea will definitely make a better surprise in the second half of the season later.
They had a ton of chances to improve and they failed, I am guessing that Chelsea will keep on having hard time this season, but that's fine not every year is a good year and you need to have some bad years to hit the reset button. They just changed hands and the new owner may not be a great football mind and they may not have understanding how it works and just throw money at the problem until it's fixed.

One day they will realize that it's not going to be the case and they will have to find people who are a lot better at it than they are, and they will end up with a lot better results. This could take a while and I am guessing they will get better eventually.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will win, FTX or BINANCE? on: November 27, 2022, 09:50:53 PM
and it's not only a very tough task for binance but also the security that must always be maintained to protect the customer's assets that are on the platform.
actually all of that is not a guarantee that binance will have a 100% security guarantee, but what you need to worry about is competition between large companies that will shift other companies such as drama binance with FTX at this time.
we can't imagine what if one day what happened to FTX will happen to binance. very terrible
I feel like it’s not that hard if you are paid billions of dollars? I mean we are talking about giant of a company and if they are not greedy then it will be fine. Why did FTX crashed? They were too greedy, the owner wanted more and more of that money, he wasn't paid that, he was given to hold it for customers, but he used it for his personal gains and that caused the trouble because market crashed.

This means that when people want to withdraw their money, it’s not there because owner used it to buy stuff. This shows that if you run a proper exchange with none of that, then you could make a ton of money and you would not be in trouble and Binance I believe doesn't use your money at all.
528  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎁 BIRTHDAY for $1 000 000| Trip to Las Vegas & BMW M8 😎 on: November 27, 2022, 08:36:43 PM
I have the faithful hope that in Betfury they will do something very good with the soccer world cup, they will take advantage of the good promotion that can be done through the world cup, and that is something that can hook many players, (including me) maybe they can do something like a pool where they give a good amount of BFG? Well that's just something that occurs to me, maybe they do it or not, and then making a good proposal for December is the most inflatable option because as a player you always look for the best, the one with the most chances of winning is what you always I like it and I think most players are looking for the same thing.
Doesn't seem like it is going to be a major deal for them, which is understandable not everyone has to focus on the same thing, there is a 7-10 days period from Christmas to new years, starting from lets say 24th and ends at 1st or even 2nd of January, that period is what I call a gold mine for gambling, and all casinos MUST take a place there, it's bigger than world cup.

World cup is great if you do something as a sportsbook to get bets for those games, and yes it could be profitable, but that period I talked about is big for ALL types of gambling because both people have free time, but also they are in a good mood to gamble and lose a lot of money if you give them something in return.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 27, 2022, 07:43:03 PM
Juventus have been improving lately but I doubt that they will do much better than finishing in the top 4 of the table. 10 points is a distance that will be very difficult to catch if competitors can still maintain their current performance. I don't expect Juventus to be champions this season considering their game is still very far from good, they still really need an evaluation of every game they run.
Indeed, nothing is impossible, Napoli could fall again, but they also have to remember that Napoli's motivation is now so great after its failure last season. Juventus also depend on Luciano Spalleti's squad if they want to win the title this season. It's a shame they had to slip several times at the start of the season so now they have quite a point difference from the top of the standings.
Juventus's performance before this break was amazing, and they were at the top of the game with having five wins out of five matches and all matches won by clean sheets is also the biggest achievements which can give good signal to opponents that things could be completely different after the break, and they have to be at their best if they want to stay at the top of league table even right now difference is ten points but still with the nature of Serie A we can expect something interesting which is surely beauty of the soccer in UEFA.

Napoli needs to compete in this season with their momentum and if they slip then surely they could be out of the race for the top two contenders most we have issues near the end of the season which mostly create problems for them, and they lost the race due to having no existing things around this league.
530  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will there ever be any safe centralised exchange ? on: November 26, 2022, 09:48:02 PM
I believe it is only a matter of time before government will forbid exchanges to convert bitcoin to fiat currency.
Why should governments ban centralized exchanges when it's a great tool for them to control us as banks control us? vice versa: the centralized exchanges here will be upgraded and will probably be legalized as banks dedicated to the cryptocurrency market.
That is true, they are loving centralized exchanges because they could just ask the owners for KYC of people and check if there is anything wrong going on in there. I am sorry to say this but many people do not understand how much governments are involved, I had a friend who worked in a big local exchange for my nation, and they said there was basically a government person working with them at any point, because they keep on asking for data of the users and not just names and such, but also each trade too and scanned them for anything bigger than usual. That’s why it’s such a great thing for governments, they will always keep supporting them at all times.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 26, 2022, 08:51:44 PM
It is normal to see the other teams struggling because they don't have a qualified squad just as Bayern Munich. There is a significant quality difference and we have been seeing its reflection for more than ten years in the league. Dortmund are the closest strong team to them but they are also not able to put up a good fight against Bayern Munich.

This is mainly due to Dortmund's priorities of course. They are already making an amazing profit by selling talented youngsters. It must be satisfying for them for now.
Now in recent time we are having few teams are investing good and with this positive results are also coming for them like Leipzig is again back at top which is surely good change even Dortmund is struggling but with the arrival of Leipzig it is giving good message to others they are doing good work for the quality and improving performance Leverkusen is also having the worst time but in last few matches they fight back which is good signal even still a long way to go for them.

But, we can expect good from them after this break but Dortmund and few other good clubs now need to work on their strategy which is surely not helping them for having positive results and decline in quality which is the biggest concern right now.
532  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why speculate when you can be at peace with Bitcoin on: November 26, 2022, 06:09:03 PM
I accept the fact that the entire cryptocurrency industry is speculative, but also it is more speculative to those who make it a short-term priority to predict the price and those that fall into that category.
1: passive traders, because they always base their entry on
    speculated Bitcoin price.
2: short term investors
But as a long-term Bitcoin holder, you will become less concerned with the short-term price but become more focused on Bitcoin's long-term value.
So it does simply tells us that there are different type of traders whom do deal up with the market on different manner but in overall essence and goals/targets in mind then it would
really be sticking out on the same motive which is to make profits or money.
Its true that we can be at peace with Bitcoin but doesnt mean that it would really be giving out assurance that it would really be positive in the future.
This is why there are really investors who do look for other alternative or options which they cant really just stick with Bitcoin.
They are really finding other opportunities which could possibly bring them some profits.
Yes, that is the obvious goal for the majority of us, make money and profits from trading.

But there are people who doesn't like to trade, maybe they think it's a complicated thing to do, which is true and it's hard to start with. You need to have that capital to play and then the time to spend in front of your computer and have some background on technical analysis as well.

So what the majority do or at least in my end, is just to invest on BTC, through DCA and I will be good without having the difficult to trade and give me headache in the end if I lose or do something wrong in my trades.
Not only in trading but you can also make money in investing, staking and many other activities which are related to cryptos. Those who don't like to trade are opting for those as they are more easier to do. All of them needs a capital (money) except only for those faucet, bounty, sig campaigns and other similar activities because they are more like a job already.

The only thing that you need there is time and hard work in order to earn a cryptos. Staking, investing or even trading can be done without actively monitoring your screen but the rest cant possibly be. We need to choose properly if what we think can give us a peace of mind.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Alternative to Bitcoin, Your Alternative is Bitcoin. on: November 26, 2022, 04:44:02 PM
you can always teach them how to do it, or someone local to them can teach them or they can use another family member or friend's wallet, etc. It's simpler to create a bitcoin wallet that a bank account and there are way less requirements(only an internet connected device for sending and skills to use it).

Newer banks that are online only and provide higher savings rates sometimes don't offer international transfers services for example. A typical brick and mortar bank usually does offer those services for a fee, only on week days though...
I do use an online bank and it's quite easy, I am not going to bash them just because I love bitcoin, they are doing a better job than the traditional banks that I used before them which shows that anything digital could be better. They have a lot less fee's, most things are free, so it is really a good feeling to not being robbed by the banks.

However, even with that in mind I agree that bitcoin is easier to use if you know how to, it is just that there is no turning back if you send money to a wrong address, that is the key difficulty here and that is why I am not sure if it would be ease of mind, easy for tech, but not easy to minds of many people who may worry about sending to wrong place.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 25, 2022, 08:28:54 PM
Many people have changed their minds about Arsenal at the start of the season as a result of their impressive performance after a few games, which is correct.
Arsenal is not a team to underestimate in the Premier League this season. They may not have enough squad depth, but their first eleven are very serious and have the zeal to compete for the Premier League title this season. They can undoubtably surprise so many people by claiming the Premier League if they can maintain their performance, which I know they will try.
I would guess that I am still one of the few people who see that it's not going to be that possible for arsenal to actually get a win. I am not saying that it would be impossible to finish high up for them, they will for sure end in the top 4 without a top, but I see the win for City and not Arsenal.

They were already looking nice last year, I mean consider the fact that they were a the very bottom for the first few weeks, then they ended up finishing near the top, that shows that they were already on a good momentum and they are keeping that up now. But eventually City and their amazing consistency will make them win the title for sure without a doubt.
535  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Friends and Family members want me to invest for them, help! on: November 24, 2022, 09:14:24 PM
You are not the only one, but not my closest friends, as they know that I will not do it to them. I have a close relative who keeps asking me this, as well as previous officemates who were always asking, "How do I do it?" to make money with bitcoin, or how do I trade? If they can give me money so that they can earn also money? What have I just said to them? I just laughed, nothing more or less, then walked out. It is like I am giving you the fare to go to your job, but your salary on that day will be given to them. No, it's not as simple as they think; send them links to websites where they can learn.
That is exactly the most annoying part. You can talk with your close friends and tell them that they can do it themselves and you will not help them do it directly. If they want to buy bitcoin, then they could open an account on binance and buy it, that’s as simple as it gets and since our friends are usually at around our age, they can do what we can do.

However, when we are talking about relatives, or even not directly relatives but friends of our relatives, they ask "kindly" to help them and buy it for them. I always tell them I won't do it but I can send them videos that shows how it can be done, and like just a day later they call back saying they didn't understand would "feel a lot safer" if I do it for them. No way, I will not but it’s really bothering.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 24, 2022, 08:39:04 PM
Didn’t put a bet down but I should have as the Celtics and Warriors m came through with wins on ESPN tonight. Day off tomorrow for the NBA but we’ll be able to enjoy games on the next big holiday, Christmas. Enjoy Thanksgiving if you’re in the US and if you aren’t, sorry for the lack of basketball for a day. Smiley
That's okay, they should also have a day off and enjoy that day with their family. I'm not from US but I'm okay with that, besides, they'll only have one day off and the action will resume the following day.

Update, Utah Jazz from number 1 in the West is now ranked at number 4. I think they should start winning games.
That’s true, we have national holidays in my country as well and we do not have games on those days too, which is fine because these players may make millions of dollars, but they are human too and they deserve to get a break here and there.

Remember, NBA players who go to finals could play as much as 110 games in one season, 82 games in a regular season, and if all games go to 7 games, that means 4 rounds of 7 equals to 28 games, that means 110 games, usually it's over inside 100 or so games though, but that is a ton of games. That on average means about 1 game in 3.5 days, that’s terrible and must be very tiring, a little bit of break here and there should be what they deserve too.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 24, 2022, 07:25:32 PM
the main goal of every club in the Champions League is to be the winner of the UCL, to hold the title. But sometimes, if they are failed, they may not really change the squad exactly. As what happened to PSG last season, they failed to hold the title, but they still hold the big players in their team, like Mbappee, They have a lot of football stars, but they failed to win the Champions League last season. In fact, when Mbapee really wanted to leave PSG, they actually offered a position and also a lot of money to keep Mbape at PSG. Yes, it's a little different. However, maybe this season the conditions will be different if they fail many times.

PSG in this French League is unbeaten. But n UCL, they have many big challenges and competitors. In their first match in round 16, they will also fight against Bayern Munich which they are also a strong club. This may not be easy for them. If we see at the composition of the squad, PSG of course has more superstars and a bigger chance of winning. But so far, Bayern Munch could really hold and control big clubs. they are consistent enough for performing very excellently.
Even in Ligue 1 they ended up losing the title run against Lille just a year ago, that means we are talking about PSG not being that much ready for everything. This year they changed their manager, Pochettino is gone, and I am feeling like they are a brand new team. Plus, Messi got used to the team and he has been scoring and passing very well so far, guessing he is going to be a lot better, his teammates also understood what he does and get ready for the pass as well.

I feel like UCL will still be hard, the league is already better and all, but then we need to make sure that it’s not going to be mistakes that causes them to lose on UCL, last year it was exactly because of that.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 23, 2022, 06:04:52 PM
Jose Mourinho is a very strict coach, he is an experienced coach who has trained a number of star players, of course the problem with Rick Karsdorp made him take a firm stance so that nothing bigger would happen to the AS Roma team.
and that's the typical Jose Mourinho, everyone has a different personality and this Jose Mourinho is a unique coach and is considered controversial by some football fans who don't like him.

and regarding the achievements with AS Roma, he has proven it by giving trophies in the first season and if you look at the statistics that Roma continue to grow after being coached by Jose Mourinho and for the Scudetto race I think Roma will compete hard for it even though this season they won't win it but it is not impossible that in the following season Jose Mourinho will give that to AS Roma, he needs a process with the AS Roma team which has a makeshift squad compared to their rival teams in Serie A.
Mourinho is a great coach and yes, he is very harsh on players when they do silly stuff, but that doesn't change the fact that we are talking about someone who hasn't really had a big achievement in a while, whereas he is treating players like he is the superstar manager he used to be as well.

I am not saying that he shouldn't discipline his players, if he wants to then he can, but shouldn't be shocked if players do not react the way they used to react to him. Because even with conference league title, that’s not a big enough title to give him any credit back to level where he was, that’s the problem they are having at this current moment.
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expectation Rock Bottom Level Bitcoin on: November 23, 2022, 03:32:34 PM
But could it be that at 16k it will hold and grow from there?
This question is difficult for any one to give a correct response because price fluctuation can move anywhere. Btc price started to drop early IMO and it dropped to around 25k-30k where investors thought it would gain momentum for a continuation of bull but it drop within $20k above and now trading below. This is a trend happening since after the ATH, so if the down trend will continue down or not is left for the future to determine.
I fear that it’s not going to be as easy as it used to be to calculate it this time around because the difference is that there are too many out of bitcoin related stuff that causes the drop. There used to be a simple fundamental analysis or technical, where you check the ma, or ema, or Bollinger band or whatever was your best bet and you did it, but at the end of the day it’s going to be not so much important anymore because nowadays none of that matters.

We are just basing all of our trades all on the fact that some "news" could break out, and that could cause the price to either crash or just go up, and that’s the thing, we don't read charts anymore because charts do not really show anything anymore.
540  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing against 2024 on: November 22, 2022, 07:24:05 PM
Expect the unexpected as always because making yourself that optimistic or being too positive towards crypto investment will really might just get you upset if you dont able to see the price that you are

wishing or hoping for.Just like the rest or everyone here on crypto space that no one could able to point out on where these prices would be going. There's no one would able to know on what the future

looks like. This is why investing decisions would really vary or matter on someones risk taking factor. You cant really be just that throwing off money to invest without having
some considerations. You should really be that versatile and accepting out on what are the odds or chances for a market whether its bull or bear.
That type of "throw money in it and hope for the best" is truly a big deal. I mean we are talking about something that is done by millions of people all around the world because newbies like to see some influencers share stuff and they just buy that with the hopes that they basically do nothing, just follow others and then make money from it.

That’s not possible unfortunately, you need to end up learning what it is all about and you could end up with a big profit for a long term thing. I am not saying that it’s not going to be an easy thing if you learn how to do it yourself neither, it still takes time and sometimes you fail, but it's more sustainable that way.
