521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to adopt the BTC program for your company? on: March 09, 2024, 08:21:31 PM
On the plus side, you might attract new customers, the techy types who love their crypto. Plus, Bitcoin transactions can be speedy and cheap compared to, you know, international bank transfers that take forever.  And hey, less fraud risk, that's always a good thing.

But here's the thing, Bitcoin's price is basically a jumpy roller coaster.  One minute it's up, the next it's down.  Keeping your prices constantly updated to avoid losing out is a major headache.  Not to mention, the network can be slow sometimes, like waiting in line at the DMV slow.  And let's be honest, not everyone is a crypto whiz – some folks might just be confused by the whole thing.

As for spending Bitcoin, that's totally up to the owner.  It's their coin, their choice.  Some might prefer to hold onto it like a digital gold bar. The bottom line?  Bitcoin in your business is a maybe.  If you're a tech-savvy shop with a global audience, it could be worth a shot.

It would work for freelancer or to those who wants to make the payment through Bitcoin just like how signature campaign in this forum pays every well but the a business cannot be entirely run on Bitcoin or any other crypto for that reason as volatility will be a key factor like what if you have paid a certain amount as a salary or project completion amount as agreed and by the time the recipient what if it's value drops own who will be compensating for those loses and I am taking about real life situation wherein not everyone would hodl Bitcoin as we are talking about business not investment.

523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SOL (SOLANA) Token Predictions, Discussions & Price Speculation on: March 09, 2024, 07:50:30 PM
The more projects that exist on the Solana network, the price will increase, worthy of Ethereum where it will continue to increase due to the hype of the project that is so coming.
The Ethereum network is so popular even though it is expensive in making transaction fees but many people are willing to spend $50 - $100 for the fee what about Solana which is so cheap of course the community will be happier to be there right? I can't compare the two because they are far different if compared to the more and great projects that are on the Ethereum network.
Solana's prediction is that it will go to $200 if the rally comes sooner then the price will continue to rise and surpass the previous ATH, not impossible because market movements can change everything.

SOL has somewhat found a base as there are lot of projects which has been launched through it's network and it just solidifies Solana's position and put it in line with ETH, but I think this bull run would be a defining point for SOL because it already have handful of projects and I feel wither SOL will have good pump like not just $200 but it may cross $500 or else it will just rebound to a lesser value. Upcoming months would be very important to decide what SOL holds for us I am confident it may reach $500 or atleast new ATH this time.
524  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC power on: March 09, 2024, 07:33:31 PM
Hey I think you got it all wrong because education is the basic foundation which is important and without which it's not everyone's cup of team to get rich and what you are referring as a person buying Bitcoin and hodling it and getting rich it's not as simple as you have described because one has to consider so many things and also need to create a strategy, let's say you need some profit after a year and you had invested in BTC when it hit it's previous ATH and then it dumped and it takes 3 years to reach that price so you would have already sold at loss when you needed money along with profit in a year. We need to think of everything like the right time to buy (except for long term hodlers) and when to cashout and how to make more money by trading it sideways, then there are those sleepless night during bear market. Not as simple as you think, try investing then you will probably understand.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US GOVERNMENT CONTINUES BITCOIN SEIZURES, CONTROLS NEARLY 1% OF CIRCULATING SUPP on: March 09, 2024, 07:16:47 PM
US never fails to amaze me as they try to get a piece of everything be it gold, oil or diamonds or even crypto in that cases as they just want sot control everything and show that they are the biggest superpower or World police. But they cannot control Bitcoin like they do other resources as that's the advantage of decentralization and as of now I don't think we should worry about involvement of US as they are mostly seizing the Bitcoin of criminals and eventually they will increase their reach but can never fully control it. Now what do they do with the seized BTC?
526  Economy / Economics / Re: Opportunities During Economic Downturns? on: March 09, 2024, 07:08:18 PM
A coin has two sides: one good and one bad. Similarly, during inflation, there are some disadvantages and some advantages. A little intelligence can bring the matter to an advantageous level.

That absolutely right. Economic downturn brings both disadvantages and advantages. We just try to find out those advantages and cut down the disadvantages. In an economic downturn, some businesses can make their thrive smoothly like the sweets industry, maintenance services, grocery stores, etc. Economic downturn also helps to balance everyday costs and also helps to change our mindset. That is why we must try to take good sides of the economic downturn.
When difficult situations occur, people in rural areas will be less calm than city people. Those who have the spirit to work persistently will use the fields to grow crops to sustain life. For village people, the crisis that is hitting the world is not so obvious and will not make them panic. Meanwhile, for people who live in urban areas, the difficulties are felt because they don't have land. to grow crops and everything they have to buy even at very high prices.

That's partially correct as the people in rural areas have a source to grow their own food and atleast they cannot be starved to death even in the worst case situation but there are different set of challenges which people at rural area faces like no proper healthcare or round the clock services like ambulance or even disaster management and as basic as proper mobile or internet network, the rural life is much peaceful compared urban life but things gets worse in rural area in terms of emergency situations due to lack of connectivity or services.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Alts can make a possible 5x this bull season? on: March 09, 2024, 06:51:59 PM
As long as market is bullish we can expect multiple altcoins to do 5X and we have already seen few coins doing it over last 3 months. I don't have any particular coin in my mind right now as the ones which I have hopes are bit old and may or may not give a 5X like ADA, SOL (already achieved more than 5X) and TRX.

This time we need to understand how do we preserve the profit because we often see people gain profit and keep reinvesting until they either lose it all or incur loses, we need to start taking profit as well because no matter it's a 5X or 10X if we are unable to capitalize on the profits then it's just waste of time and effort.
528  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nigeria children laid curse on their president on: March 09, 2024, 06:40:24 PM
Curse? Who cares about it? Especially the Nigerian government which don't give a damn about any of it's citizens, how does this affect them? The only chance people get to show their power and voice is during the elections and people should pledge on voting for someone who is not corrupt and a fresh face who is willing to develop the country and improve the standard of living of it's people. But the real curse has been upon some of the African nations as their heros are either assassinated or they become dictator once voted to power. I would say Nigeria needs a fresh face who is qualified as we need to check the person's previous work before voting for them.

Man, it's going to be a long battle between the good and corrupt which eventually good will win and I wish Nigeria with the kind of natural resource and mineral wealth should become a developed country and may it's citizens who are going through the worst have better life.
529  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A blessed continent on: March 08, 2024, 09:41:31 PM
Having natural resources and minerals are th blessing but at the same time Africa has the curse of dictators and greedy leader who wants are hell bent in making lives difficult for its citizens as they are literally taking up any job in other countries and it also has curse of ethnic conflicts. African leader and people need to check the history how Singapore was converted from a narrow strip of land without any natural resources to a highly developed nation. Africans needs to elect leaders based on merits instead of selecting basis of religion, ethnicity or relatives. Education and upbringing the kids by teaching the kids to be honest and ensure they understand what is good and bad and evil. Probably last few generations has been too greedy and forget the basic of humanity that's why we see so much of poverty and problems and the cause of all these are just corruption.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam called ''INACTIVITY FEES'' - HitBTC on: March 08, 2024, 09:18:44 PM
Sorry to know the ordeal you have been through but try reaching out to their support channels if that can help but we cannot expect much positive from this exchange as I have too many complaints in regards to this exchange.

But you will not be able to prove them wrong because these sort of details will be mentioned somewhere in the lengthy terms and conditions which you agree which signing up for it.

531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is going to touch all time highs on: March 08, 2024, 09:03:50 PM
Bitcoin price has already touched 69000 thousand dollars, which is the highest price of 2021. So how reasonable do you think it is that the price of bitcoin will touch 70k dollar again if it takes another step forward?

The bitcoin price have just hit the previous all-time high and also passed it to record a new all time high in history. It is now trading below the $68K value again which signifies a strong resistance in that area where the previous all-time high value was. It is going back to gather some momentum in order to break pass through that resistance level and create a new support area there. The scalp traders will be looking to get the most profit out of this but as a long term holder, this is no time for panic but to still hold on steadily to their investment.

Usually long term investors don't have to worry much about the fluctuations and I think they will be more confident than other short term investors or trader because they are in sure shot profit at the moment and we shouldn't forget we are in bull market right now and we may see some massive fluctuations but it's the pump which will win against dump hence I would be suggesting not to sell for minor fluctuations as this may hinder our potential projects when it pumps back.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not try out a less popular but promising token? on: March 08, 2024, 08:46:13 PM
If a project gets to the exchange and let's say it's not progressing much in terms of price but still it's a real projects and if the dev team develops the project further than we may see increase in its value and this is what I term as unknown coins i nena there are many such coins in the market and I have made some investment in one such project named UTK which is good but not well know.

The sole reason why people don't invest into new or unknown coins is what if it's a scam which happens with most of the new projects as they either don't reach exchange or they just dump it on the day of launch and that's all.
533  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump Bitcoin over $70,000! on: March 08, 2024, 08:28:58 PM
Okay whales, pump Bitcoin up!  I need to make a big profit on this.  And do whatever it takes to surge Shiba Inu as much as possible too.  It doesn't have to be true, it just has to make me money.

Man, One of your wish was granted 99.9% s Bitcoin almost touched $70k Lol. But Shiba Inu? let's be reasonable as Bitcoin has potential to move further and pump much more than what you have mentioned but SHIB is a shit coin/meme coin with no real unique concept hence on a long term it will not reach anywhere and same goes for Doge as no one even talks about one of the most hyped coin Doge as people went crazy when Elon Musk toyed around with this coin and SHIB will meet same fate.
534  Economy / Economics / Re: Our decision making is responsible for the outcomes in our ways on: March 08, 2024, 08:18:23 PM
Money can be a confusing beast. You work hard to earn it, but if you don't manage it well, it can all disappear faster than a slice of pizza. The key is finding a balance. We all deserve a little fun – a vacation to that dream beach, that new gadget you've been eyeing – but not at the expense of our future selves.

Being smart with your money doesn't mean being a total Scrooge.  Think of it like building a boss life –  you gotta take care of the essentials first – that's your foundation.  Then, you can start thinking about saving and investing for the future you. The cool thing is, once you've got that base covered, you can totally reward yourself! Treat yourself to a concert, a shopping spree, whatever floats your boat. It's all about finding that sweet spot where you're taking care of business and having some fun along the way.

Well, that exactly how it works and do you know why people often fail following this? Because they are too inclined towards work or personal life and they don't really make a work life balance though we know that we have to make some sacrifices to our personal life if we want to be ahead in the race and achieve something but the problem is making too inclined towards either one of them makes us like a machine wherein we can only process the knowledge or inputs we have and fail to observe new things and smart work goes for a toss and that's where we actually end up losing it all.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing into Bitcoin as self pension on: March 08, 2024, 08:03:35 PM
Bitcoin would be the best option but I would always recommend you to diversify your investments and be it for pension or any other reason. I would suggest having major chuck like 60% into Bitcoin and then remaining 20% into Stocks and Mutual funds and rest 20% into traditional stuffs like real estate. Bitcoin indeed will give more ROI so majority of investment should be into Bitcoin and let's consider every possible worst case scenarios hence as a security investing into diverse assets will keep your investments safe and less affected as you mentioned situation like war or let's say government banning or restricting crypto or making it difficult though they cannot ban it as they don't control it but they can make it bit difficult.
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to adopt the BTC program for your company? on: March 08, 2024, 07:46:35 PM
Hey I am a supporter of Bitcoin and investor as well but I am still not convinced to use it as day to day business transaction for food or groceries rather I will be gladly implementing it into the payment transfers because we need to accept the fact that it will complicate things if we use Bitcoin for minor transactions due to the charges and the decimal points. I am sure people might not completely agree with my point but if you have a better solution or can explain why am I wrong you are most welcome.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bullish are we in this bull run? on: March 07, 2024, 09:52:57 PM
I have been one of those who has been doing DCA for a while and by default that has increased my portfolio value by more than 2x and this has been my biggest learning which is keep buying Bitcoin throughout the year and by the time of bull run you will have enough Bitcoin as well as profits.

When you say people bought due to noise they cannot preserve it as they will end up panic selling during market correction.
538  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The American primary election. on: March 07, 2024, 09:04:38 PM

It could be true or false but for a politician it is important to defend himself when opposition throws an allegation and Biden failed to that everytime so its not a wonder if he defeated this time and the reason is their point of failure of addressing the situations of citizens and all they care about the world political game which should be secondary for any country at all.

No, it's just plain false.

People really shouldn't believe all of the lies a political party makes up about the opposing side.

Man, I second your thoughts and it's just a blatant lie which has been fed to people for political gain and we need to ensure we don't belive anything which we see in the internet and paid media channels. Especially never believe what you see in USA be it from the ruling party or the opposition or even news channels they are really good at deceiving, just imagine they deceived whole world into believing Iraq had WMD and destroyed the nation the imagine the level of manipulation they can do to get to the power or stay in power.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether Market Cap 100 billion today vs less than 5 billion 2020 on: March 07, 2024, 08:34:45 PM
EDIT: especially the question: how backed up is tether really and how verified are the information they are putting out?
You can check some transparent reports from Tether on their website.
https://tether.to/en/transparency/#usdt

They usually publish quarterly reports from audit companies.
https://tether.to/en/transparency/#reports. On this page, you can see Tether Reserves Breakdown information as well.

The latest report https://assets.ctfassets.net/vyse88cgwfbl/7DZ8nVyr8zTaWhJqTIsMsH/b8e55bc151c9bb74adf20ff840e84088/ESO.03.01_Std_ISAE_3000R_Opinion_31-12-2023_BDO_Tether_CRR_RC134792023BD0684__1_.pdf

I wanna say two things the first one being people use Tether just as an digital Alternative to USD and  that's the only reason people use it to save in crypto domain to avoid risking any market fluctuations. Secondly, there has been issues in the past whether Tether is really holding USD equivalent to the amount of USDT in supply? And these numbers and audits are published by the themselves not by any third party hence it's unreliable and I think it's just a matter of time USDT is a bubble which could be busted.
540  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto Scams in Each Market Condition? on: March 07, 2024, 08:00:00 PM
It's never related to any particular market conditions as these scammers are active with some or the other scams throughout the year but they get more victims during bear and bull seasons as that's when people wants to earn more and falls for the scams. But if we are cautious enough then these scammers can't do anything. It's just the greed and ignorance which makes people fall for their traps.
