521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: December 13, 2023, 09:28:06 AM
Manage yourself and your bankroll, I think every other strategy comes next after this, you can use time to your advantage by shorting it, or you can just use calculation on the rounds you are going to keep playing till you quit for the day, but the best one is the exact amount you can afford to lose in your everyday life of gambling.

I don't do gamble everyday, I have my special gambling days and also my exact amount I use on those days in a week, people gets addicted easily because they give too much of their time to gambling, this is wrong.

If anything is going to take most of your time it should be your family and your skills, in your job or business, think more about yoit family, I know someone who claimed that the love of his family is why he needs to be responsible in gambling, he knew he have to be careful and not ruin everything because he is into gambling.
522  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Staying away from scam. on: December 13, 2023, 08:48:36 AM
Greed is the best tool scammers use to steal from their victim, if you are someone who want the short road to success I promise you that you will end up learning the hard way, with the little knowledge and experience I have seen in the past I declared that anything that's too easy is never going to be attractive to me, that is the scammers road.

Years ago you can easily and safely going any promotions online or free drops and you will get your tokens, but today even free tokens aren't free anymore, even if the project is genuine you can still get trapped, most airdrops are scam today and every shilling on twitter are ongoing because money is involved, those shillers are doing it for money too.

Today I prefer to focus on myself and learn good skills, even if its very hard i will keep going back everyday to keep learning and one day I will find my way with it, this is my own way in crypto space now, I have said my last bye bye to free offers, bonuses, and airdrops years ago.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 13, 2023, 07:55:44 AM
Every game has its excitement, either football or UFC or racing games, and to get the full excitement package while be a gambler you only need to risk what you can afford to lose, think over head, that if the game goes out of your favour will you like losing the money? Gamblers don't always think about the aftermath, they are always so stuck in the present.

If the amount you risk is very low you will comfortably enjoy the game and what happens after won't matter, but if you risk a lot of money, while the game is ongoing you will feel the panic inside and react to any situation in the game, rest will only occur after the game ends and you win.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Passionate gambler keeps the gambling boards rolling even after retirements on: December 13, 2023, 06:45:09 AM
Now this Is what I accept to be called FUN, this person knows how to spend their life in happiness and generosity, gathering people together to have some fun and make money all the way, some people are struggling to be in one place when it comes to having fun in gambling, they don't know which side they are on, either its gambling for fun or gambling for money.

Some just say its for fun to get away from the question easily, how can you be struggling in life and you are gambling for fun? Those who do this are either retired or are already making a lot of money from their business.

Risk isn't going to seem too high to you if you are making a lot of money, yet you will see some people going for loans and borrowing money from their friends to gamble, the risk is already high before you start gambling, the money isn't  yours.
525  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchange withdrawal issues on: December 12, 2023, 12:12:08 PM
I need to ask you this and I hope you come out with the exact truth of what happened behind the veil, did anyone contacted you on telegram to use that exchange? Maybe for some extra bonuses or offers? Or did they somehow promise to give you some percentage of the money after you successfully withdraw some amount of money?

Sorry if you don't like this question but even a beginner will feel somehow about this exchange, the name alone is a big turn off, and I can remember that something like this was been shared to me on telegram but scammers, they pretend to be in trouble and they need someone who can do the withdraw for them in exchange for some part of the money?

Why would anyone use this exchange in the first place if something isn't fishy? Even those who are not into crypto knows Binance exchange, some don't even know how to use the exchange but they know its a place you can sell and buy crypto, even those that don't know Binance knows how to use google search to find top crypto exchanges, sorry to say but this is a scam and you are already a victim, next time don't use creepy exchanges for any reasons, always do your own research first.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers should not believe in first game win trap on: December 12, 2023, 11:15:17 AM
There is no way to avoid it anyway, whatever plays out depends on the person, it is better if you don't win on your first time gaming, because you will feel how hard it could get to win in gambling, although it doesn't make a lot of difference but it's still way better than someone who win in their first gambling experience, this is bad for the long term as they will think it things will always work in their favour.

It's even more disturbing if the begginer don't have any exposure to how gambling really works or what other gblinv experiences have been in their past time, it's like saying you go into something you don't know anything about and you don't even bother to do any research, I believe that if beginners do their research about gambling, someone will tell them not to go into gambling and some will say it's fine, there will be few people that will warn them about addiction, and having that fear alone can make them gamble with care.

They will have to try as see, with what they can afford to lose, just to see what will happen, this is better than someone who just make up their mind that they can get rich with gambling and they risk any amount of money they can, even the type they have can't afford to lose.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interview for sports bettors. on: December 12, 2023, 10:24:10 AM
I like to interview you guys to know more about your experience in sports betting. With this, I think we can help those newbies on what to expect and what to do in order to stay entertain in sports betting. So please follow this format of question.

1- How long have you been gambling in sports?
Ans ;

2 -What are your worst experience in sports betting?
Ans ;

3-What are your best experience in sports betting?
Ans ;

4-What can you advise on the new gamblers and those who struggles in sports betting?
Ans ;

1. I was never a fan of sports betting until I was encouraged by friends to start giving it a try, to see how things will play out and also sports have this advantage of using data analysis to get a upper hand in predictions.

2. Nothing much on the regret side of things, I lose money and I also win at times, it's just helpful that you can do research on the team and also be able to make a decision, it's not the same like playing games in casino.

3. I enjoy watching matches instead rather than just gambling and there are times that I don't even use money to place bets on sports, I just take my time and enjoy the games.

4. What is there to be struggling about? If you have no addiction problem you should be fine with any gambling games you choose, either poker or soccer you will be fine, funds management is what everyone should learn before gambling.
528  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: December 12, 2023, 09:31:27 AM
I like what you are doing OP, even while this problem can't always be solved you still come up with this idea to help others with their addiction, thanks for doing your best, gambling addiction can only be beaten by someone who desperately want to stop their gambling addiction.

Some people want to stop their addiction, but that dream is only for the day, when they take some time off they will feel like gambling again, the truth is your mind can't desire for two things at the same time, if you want a change you need to make up your mind.

The only way to beat addiction is by firstly making up your mind, give up on gambling and force yourself to like other things, I have seen people doing things to themselves to escape that dark desire of gambling, they want it gone by doing all the can, while some can't get over it and choose to take their own lives, it's all matter of choice, it's better to always choose the right choices.
529  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should new cryptocurrency users do first?🙏🙏🙏 on: December 11, 2023, 11:22:47 AM
Learning about how to keep their assets safe, I think this is the first thing to spend your time on, many people have lost access to fortunes in crypto because they thought its as easy as storing funds in their bank account, there is hacks and theft in crypto than the banking sectors, crypto is like the hackers playing field, they can steal and get away with it easily.

When I was new to crypto, this cost me a lot, I used the wrong crypto wallet to store my assets and I lost them, enough to set me up for life, with Doge coin mostly, something I can never forget till the end of time, I was so focused on how to get the assets, how to get them through airdrops and other ways, how to buy them on exchanges, but I never did research on how to safely keep them from hackers and Custodial wallets.

When you want to log into your bank account you need your mail account and your password, this was what I had in mind, towards crypto, and I stumbled on crypto wallets that requests the same, username and password, not knowing that if its not your key its not your assets.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one you are good at? on: December 11, 2023, 10:05:55 AM
I am very good at two things in gambling, one is me walking away after I win and me never risking more than I can afford to lose in gambling.

I remember the last time I won, I use $5 to win $2200 and there was also a time I use $25 to win $1500, I walked away immediately and I used the money to pay my cable bills for the next one year in advance, this happened in 2022.

Not knowing when to take your leave is the biggest disease you can have in gambling, this whole gambling idea was never created to make anyone rich, it's created to get you hooked for more and keep playing over and over for massive money.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: With gambling, it's probably easier to quit cold turkey on: December 11, 2023, 09:01:54 AM
People end up taking their lives after being so addicted to gambling, they can't stop and they can't walk away, the thing with gambling is no matter how much you win it will never be enough, that's why I always appreciate my effort of walking right away like I steal from the casino after I win some money, they will try to take it all back in fold.

For someone who was destined to have only a 100 thousand dollars all their live won't even know, and they will keep chasing the million dollar bag, imagine someone like this getting involved with gambling? They will believe that winning a million is more than enough and it's possible, the sad truth is they will never have it and they will waste their years away.

You need to consider yourself luck if you are not addicted to something, process addiction are so much harder to beat in so many ways, especially gambling and sex, you won't just quit easily, only those who haven't process it for too long find their way back easily.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: First winning can be a trap on: December 11, 2023, 08:15:35 AM
You are right, a woman once told me about how her daughter came back from school and told her about gambling and the mother got worried for her and she gave the daughter some money to start gambling, only to lose it all to gambling and she let go of gambling till this day, she (the daughter) is now 30 years and I replied with.

Thank God she didn't win, things can be very different if she won at the time, if she won that day it will be like easy money to her and she will become addicted, as young as she was, I believe there will be no need for any responsible gambling treatment for her.

To be a responsible gambler you need to experience the good and bad side of gambling before even starting to gamble, those who are addicted to gambling can't even help themselves right now than to keep gambling even when they know that are addicted already.
533  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to self exclude from anonymous gambling sites on: December 10, 2023, 02:53:45 PM
All I can think about this topic is lack of self control, if you can't stop yourself from doing something you have failed as a man, because this is what will always define you in everything you do, staking have been around for many years and it's better for those who want to get money out of holding their tokens and coins for a long term.

To get a good money from staking it also requires a better value of the token you plan to stake for long or short term, you should just know what you want, and improve yourself in making decisions.

Also do not advice people to use atomic wallet, it's not safe, and it's so bad that I would rather stake my coins on Binance exchange rather than using Atomic wallet for staking, and Binance supports USDT staking, both APY and APR, the best one I trust most is Trust wallet, you are welcome.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe you can win on sports betting by analyzing a betting lines only? on: December 10, 2023, 12:50:51 PM
Data analysis helps, if you don't use them how will you know want to place bet on? It helps a lot in decisions making and it also increases the chance of your luck, but all in all, you have to be still lucky to win.

My answer is yes and a no, the yes is about how important data analysis is if you are betting on sports games, and my No is saying that even after every data analyses you can still lose your money in the end of the match.

The best bet is to never risk more than you are willing to lose, if you think about losing the money, which is possible, always make sure you won't get affected if that dream of losing money finally comes true, it always come true faster than winning, gamble responsibly.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for newbies on: December 10, 2023, 11:20:54 AM
Hello everyone, as you can see I'm new here, I'm looking for recommendations for a game to bet some money that I don't mind losing, I would like recommendations and if possible a recommendation for somewhere that teaches how to play. Thank you very much. Grin
You are highly welcome.

If you don't mind losing the money its better way to start, as you only need to risk what you can afford to lose on gambling only, here are my advice for you.

Find a niche, which game do you like most? Soccer or basketball? Racing or UFC? Then go with one that you like the most, how you bet on them is on you, just risks only what you can afford to lose.

Also it's better you have a source of income, if you don't and you have what you are willing to lose right now you won't like it still after you lose the money, because you just lied to yourself as if you are really willing to lose the money, many gamblers think this way, but when they lose the money they find someone to put the blame on.
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Risk only what you can afford to lose on: December 10, 2023, 10:14:18 AM
Let's talk about the king solution of keeping your Bitcoin safe, which to me is the airgapped hardware wallets but is it safe to say that they are 100% safe? I think the answer is no..

What and what is likely to go wrong with airgapped hardware wallets?

1. Cord connection: data can still be transmitted when connecting the hardware wallet to your PC.

2. SD Card: some comes with Sd card option for updating the hardware wallet, but I am not sure that using Sd card can always be safe either, I remember those days where I use to buy lots of Sd card because they have issues easily and also they get viruses easily. Old Symbian and Android users here?

3. QR Codes: honesty, QR codes are not readable by the eye, they comes with blocks like figures, there is no way to know what's written in that QR code anyway, there is no way to read it and know what kind of data is inside it.

4. You still have to rely on the company for future safetiness of the hardware wallet in terms of software updates, if someone hackers find a way to alter the upcoming update file you know what could happen.

The only healthy solution is to understand that there is no guarantee in crypto, risk only what you can afford to lose, even after every thing, something can still always go wrong.

You can limit the risk by choosing to not connect your hardware wallet to your PC or any PC for updates, use sdcards instead, but make sure you use a brand new Sdcard for your updates, once you use one for update today, store in a safe place simply for your hardware wallet updates only, do not use for saving files or downloading.

Do not scan QR code you find online, only scan when paying to another crypto wallet or you want to sell your BTC on an exchange, QR codes can come with malicious things too.

As for the software update from the companies, pray that nothing bad comes up from their side, I still strongly believe that they are the only thing that can easily messed up hardware wallet security.

Stay safe out there kings and happy holiday 🎅

537  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: December 09, 2023, 01:35:51 PM
I bet many people have this regrets right now and that's because they are in losses bigger than they have ever won from gambling, many have dreams and hopes on gambling as their sole provider or their means of changing their life but on their gambling journey for few years they have learned that such dream is not always possible for every gambler.

I honestly don't have any regrets, because in my family we hated gambling so much that it's a normal thing for children in the family to get warned especially about gambling, it's like the family taboo, I remember my father always telling us to never be a fan of gambling, because it's the easiest way to losing yourself.

While growing up I found out that they are warning us because of the possible manipulation that gambling has in one's life, it's easier to strongly believe only in gambling and shun everything else out of your life, until it destroys you, but if my old man is still alive today I will like to tell him that I found my own way with gambling, I gamble without it having any bad effect on me, because I choose to be a responsible gambler and anyone can do it too, if they aren't greedy.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will you say within your limits to encourage responsible gambling? on: December 09, 2023, 12:11:54 PM
Every gamblers knows their limit and I don't want to call a number for anyone, the thing is many gamblers don't listen to the responsibility of becoming a gambler, they are too focused on how much they can win from a game with a certain amount, that's why they feel very bad when they lose money.

Been a responsible gambler is not about how many times you can win some money, its about continues gambling that have no negative impact on your life, business and your daily activities, and the only way to make this be this way is by avoiding using gambling as your main focus in life, engage in gambling if you have money to lose.

Gambling is a game where you decide on what a possible outcome might be, it's like trying to predict the future which makes you not in control of anything, so there for you need to risk only what you can afford to lose.
539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would you pay $1M dollars worth of BTC or USDT for an El Salvadorian passport? on: December 09, 2023, 11:10:28 AM
Like seriously? Do you know many countries are better than this El Salvador? It's not a heaven paradise here on earth, I don't see any reason why anyone should do this, $1M dollars is a lot of money if I convert it into my local currency, I will live like a king in many countries that are better than El Salvador.

If it's possible to buy a Plot of land on Satoshis island I would probably do this, but I guess the lands on there are just for rent on time bases, I wish, hehe, mind you, in coming years if things go very well with Bitcoin and crypto I believe that few countries will fully embrace crypto just like El Salvador is doing right now.

If I have $1M dollars right now I would invest most of that into Bitcoin and wait for a pleasing cash out by 4th quarter of 2024, or when I see Bitcoin reach over 80k in value, good luck 🎲 .
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 09, 2023, 10:14:47 AM
Do you know how easier to get angry when you lose? This is not always about betting your money, I know someone who always get into a bad mood when the football club he is supporting is losing a match or lose a match, and that's all for the love he has for the football club, now imagine the same person betting some money on such match?

That's why we need to be careful when we gamble, you are powerless when you are betting your money on a future event, anything is bound to happen, but how can you make sure that the pain won't be much if things aren't going your way? The solution is to use small amount of money only.

If you plan bet on a match with just $1 and you lose the game, what could happen to you? Your mood won't be ruined compare to losing $100 or $500, the smaller you risking on games the safer you will be, and also your behavior will still be normally intact.
