521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LCX vs BNB on: January 12, 2023, 03:44:45 PM
I have LCX token on my watchlist, it needs to crash even more if I am going to buy and hold, forget whatever anyone is saying, some times, those tokens that people don't like end up doing so well, you can still make profit from LCX in a bull market and moreover, you made 70%+ already.

There are few coins that people don't like and they performed so well, for example, Shiba inu, doge coin or Hex, look into GNS ( Gains Network ) it's dex but has more potential to grow, invest only what you can afford to lose and you will be alright.

It is pumping at the moment so yes I would wait for 30% pullback at least.

It is worth a gamble as it is such a small market cap has a lot of room to grow.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LCX vs BNB on: January 11, 2023, 09:00:18 AM
I have seen a lot of people compare LCX to how BNB was a few years ago.
I don't think LCX should be compared with a BnB. It's the same as comparing a kid with a bodybuilder.

Binance is the #1 exchange, on the other hand, LCX is not even in the top 100 150 exchanges in terms of volume.

would be happy with a £1b market cap next bull run
Based on Utility of the token 1b seems realistic, but it is the crypto market after all, anything can happen. $1b or 0 time will tell.

Also to answer OP's question, I don't think that LCX would reach a $1b marketcap because the other big exchange besides Binance are under $1b, I don't see why a new exchange token will reach $1b in the nearest future.

Crypto.com (CRO) has a market cap of $1.6b currently , when it was at its all time high in 2021 its market cap was  $22b so you are incorrect with your point above.

I think LCX hitting $1b next bull run is realistic and that will give it a 25x from current price.

No trades today as I my last entry was Gala @ $0.046 and it has been below that all day.

Hopefully we have some sideways action before the next pump when I plan to sell at $0.049.

Either way I am happy as I have a separate bag of Gala so will just hold until it is time for me to sell for some profit.

Quick question, what timeframe is best for day trading?
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LCX vs BNB on: January 10, 2023, 03:19:43 PM
LCX currently has a market cap of £33m - if it was to one day reach a market cap of £80b this would give it a price of £103.00. I am not expecting this anytime soon , would be happy with a £1b market cap next bull run, but is £80b possible one day?
80 billions valuation might be possible one day but it must be 100 years later. IMO this is another trash. Im sure that LCX was just paying for advertisement to the bitboy. Bitboy is known so well as a scam youtubers lol. It seems like that people will not be going to bet on this piece of shit. ATH will be a good target for you rather than aiming for billion market capitalization.
It is obvious that it's a trash, but I am not sure if it has that much longevity, because if it is still around 100 years later, that's pretty good lol. It is wiser to say it will never happen, not even after 100 years, it will be gone within a few years anyway, no investors. That's the type of thing we are comparing with the coin of the biggest exchange ever.

I have to say it's not going to be that easy to accept this at all, it would be pretty incredibly hard thing to handle and I honestly believe that the best thing to do would be making sure that it's not going to be an easy task at all. LCX is just a bad situation to be in and I do not think that it will change.

Fair enough - that is your opinion.

Will see where we are in a year at the start of the next bull run.

Also, looking at the BNB chart I see it did a 25x from December 2020 - May 2021 which took it to its all time high, what caused this?
I think that you shall take another small exchange site rather than trying to compare it with binance. As far as i know that if binance is always performing so well compared with the whole exchange sites that available in the crypto. Your comparison didn't even make sense. Why don't you compare it with another exchange token like KCS? KCS was still even better than LCX.

I didn't even know Bitboy covered LCX, I have seen many others do so but not him.

I have only put a small amount in as it has a very small market cap so worth it for me - it either sees great returns next bull run or it goes to zero.

I will hold for 18-24 months and see what happens.

Hello all, appreciate the input.

Currently I am 67% up since I started trading last week, just makes me feel like I should have started with more but I am very new to this so didn’t want to risk much!

It has opened my eyes to trading though, up until last week I had just been DCA and holding but think over the next few months and definitely into the bull market I will do a lot more research and give trading a go properly.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / LCX vs BNB on: January 09, 2023, 11:06:11 AM
Hi all,

I started investing in LCX 2 months ago and this week it has seen a 72% pump which is good too see, I do expect it to come back down however.

I have seen a lot of people compare LCX to how BNB was a few years ago.

I have only been in crypto 12 months so do not know too much about BNB but can see their all time high was in May 2021 when it was priced at £492.00 which at the time gave it a £80b market cap.

LCX currently has a market cap of £33m - if it was to one day reach a market cap of £80b this would give it a price of £103.00. I am not expecting this anytime soon , would be happy with a £1b market cap next bull run, but is £80b possible one day?

I have zero experience and have just been looking on Coinbase at the best and worst performers of the day.
Don't trade, you will lose your fund.

I am thinking of buying coins that are 15% or more down and then selling once they pump 10% and move onto the next one that is 15% down and then again sell at 10% profit and just keep repeating.

Anyone done something similar or will it just lead me to losing my money?
Looks like it can give you profit but have you ever checked that altcoins in 2022 lost 90% to 98% and some more than 98% of their all time highs. If you are not correct with your orders, your entries are wrong and you don't cut loss, you will lose a lot. From -15% to -98% is not small difference.

Trading won't help you rich but it will help exchanges richer. You give them income from your trading fees.

Currently no fees on Coinbase - I have 1 month no fees using Coinbase One.

Am also up 36% already on one trade, I get it is a gamble but it is money I can afford to lose I am only starting with $50 and be happy if I can turn that into $250 so I can then put it all into Bitcoin.

...I am thinking of buying coins that are 15% or more down and then selling once they pump 10% and move onto the next one that is 15% down and then again sell at 10% profit and just keep repeating...

Such a strategy will not always be profitable, since many coins, after their price has decreased by 15%, contrary to your expectations, continue to decline. In this case, you should have a backup plan, which may be to use a stop loss to limit your losses.

No back up plan - I am just trading altcoins I believe will be here till the next bull run at least.

If it gets to a point where we experience a crash and I buy in at a price we don't see again for another month or so then I will just hold.
530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: January 06, 2023, 09:38:43 AM
I have only started with $50 as a test - I made my first trade last night after buying LCX last week at $0.033 I sold at $0.045.

This is a 36% gain which is a pretty good start, now I will wait and have a look around to see what is badly down later and buy in when I feel there is a likely pump coming.

LCX reached $0.055 last night so this is a 67% increase from where I bought only a week ago so makes me realize there is money to be made in this bear market.

532  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin - what price would you sell? on: January 05, 2023, 12:31:00 PM
I started accumulating Bitcoin after the June crash last year, my average buy is currently $17500.

I feel like it is a good time to be accumulating but also lately have been thinking it may be a while until it is worth selling.

I think Bitcoin will reach $100k maybe $150k next bull run in 2025 but feel that is not going to be enough for me to sell as I won't have anywhere near 1 full Bitcoin.

I invest in Bitcoin weekly but I also have other Altcoins I invest in so it is not a large amount I am able to put into Bitcoin right now.

I am thinking of just accumulating till 2029/2030 which should be the next bull run after 2025.

Hopefully by this point I will have close to 1 full Bitcoin and the price will be at least $250k which would then be worth selling to me.
533  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bear market - previous experience / advice? on: December 15, 2022, 12:42:54 PM
You're doing good by dollar cost averaging — but the better question is, what are you actually buying? Make sure you're actually buying coins/tokens that you're actually confident(with ample independent research and all that) in, and not some YouTuber pump and dump stuff.

...or better still just DCA into Bitcoin and forget about altcoins.

The main cycle in Bitcoin is the halving which happens every 4 years, so that's a 4 year
cycle between each halving. In those 4 years we experience all aspects of the
market movements from the highs of the bull markets to the lows of the bear markets.

This also means that anyone who is only in Bitcoin for 1 or 2 years have not fully experienced
everything the markets can produce.

Being in Bitcoin for over 4 years teaches us primarily not to panic. For example I am in
crypto since January 2017 so I have experienced all the highs and lows within 2 halving
cycles (but not a full 4 year one)

I bought Bitcoin first at $1000, I have been well rewarded for being patient, believing in the
future and HODLING!

Good to hear from those like yourself who have been in this space many years. Luckily I am quite patient and happy to wait another 12-18 months to see profit.

I have Bitcoin plus 6 altcoins of which 4 of them I will not touch for a while as I feel we will go lower so would rather catch the very bottom which would help reduce my average price a lot.

For now I am just dollar cost averaging into Bitcoin and 2 of the altcoins I am more confident with.
534  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bear market - previous experience / advice? on: December 15, 2022, 10:50:32 AM
I only started investing in Bitcoin after the June crash as I felt it was too expensive up to that point. My current average buy is £16k which I am happy with and in the last 2 months my main focus has been Bitcoin and will continue to be until we start going up again.

Looking at my portfolio most of the altcoins I hold are 55%- 25% down with one (Quant) being up 40% currently.
535  Other / Beginners & Help / Bear market - previous experience / advice? on: December 15, 2022, 10:09:32 AM
Hi all,

I have been in crypto just over one year now and it has been an interesting year to say the least.

When I first started my crypto journey I didn't know anything about cycles and just started investing as there was a lot of noise around it at the time.

Due to the crash we have experienced this year my portfolio is currently 40% down but I have not sold anything have just kept dollar cost averaging and buying more at the bigger drops.

I am expecting most of 2023 to be the same and I plan on sticking with my dollar cost averaging but must admit there have been days recently where I have panicked slightly asking myself If I am doing the right thing investing in crypto. I think this is down to constantly seeing the market fall and feeling like it is going to take a lot for it to reverse and see better days again.

I am just after any advice or personal experience from others who have been through previous bear markets?
536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin high prediction 2023? on: December 13, 2022, 07:31:24 AM
I have been in crypto almost 1 year now and has been an interesting year to say the least. When I bought my first crypto in January I didn’t know anything about cycles and just started investing after a friend had been telling me for months to do so.

My portfolio is currently 40% down and I have just been buying weekly throughout the year and more when we have crashed and haven’t sold anything yet.

Up until today I had the plan of just holding and selling when everything gets back to all time highs again but I have just realised as I have been buying at these lows for a while now my average buys have decreased a lot meaning I don’t need my investments to go back to all time highs to see good returns.

I only started investing in Bitcoin after the June crash so feel I have a good average price currently as I have only been buying between £13k - £20k. Bitcoin I will hold until £100k at least but altcoins I own I realise I don’t need to wait for them to get back to all time highs to see good returns.

I know we are likely to drop further in the first few months of 2023 but I am curious to know how high we all feel Bitcoin can reach later in the year before 2024?
talking about "Before 2024" seems to be hard as you are asking how high it can be? maybe best to ask for the 2024-2025 as this is the year we are talking about Bull because you seems to be holding so why need to seek for the earlier when there is the much better year?

I know 2024/2025 is going to be the big years, my own prediction is Bitcoin will reach $100k in 2025.

I am just wondering for those who have been in crypto many years and have seen previous cycles what next year may be like. Are we expecting to see Bitcoin below $20k all year or is there likely to be a rally to $35k or something?
537  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin high prediction 2023? on: December 10, 2022, 12:33:29 PM
I know nobody knows for sure, would just be good to get some thoughts from those who know the cycles and have been in crypto for many years.

I understand we have to wait until 2024 for the Bitcoin halving to really see prices go up but just curious to hear what can happen in 2023.

Are we likely to have a run up to £40,000 or something or is it likely to stay at low these low levels for most of 2023.
538  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin high prediction 2023? on: December 10, 2022, 12:14:24 PM

539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) Price Prediction. Will LUNC price hit $0.001 in 2022? on: December 10, 2022, 12:03:21 PM
I think LUNC will slowly recover (especially with burn program) but it will never reach $1 which a lot of Luna Classic fans believe Cheesy

I am holding till 0.0008 which will be a 10x for me.
Patiently waiting for another pump like we had in September but it may take a while seems to have slowed down lately.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cardano - 2025 prediction? on: December 09, 2022, 08:05:03 AM
I have almost been in crypto 1 year now and looking for a new project to get into at these low prices we are currently seeing. Until a few weeks ago I had not looked at Cardano but with its price now at £0.25 which is its yearly low I am tempted.

I have heard a lot of bad things about it over the last year, how its taking a while to see any price action etc but at this low price I am now thinking I might start accumulating.

I have seen videos of how it may flip Ethererum one day, not sure if that will happen but for that just to be a debate sounds like a good thing to me.

With its all time high coming last year at £2.25 , how high can it realistically go next bull run? I am thinking somewhere around £4 is possible which would give it a rough market cap of £140billion and mean a 16x from current price.

Be interesting to hear thoughts on this and see how many are invested or not?
