What's the point of letting someone rent your hashing powers? If the person rening makes profit on it then it'd be a loss for you, wouldn't it?
522  Local / Beurzen / Re: Op zoek. Weet iemand dit? on: July 31, 2014, 11:41:08 PM

Nice to see some competition!
I'm waiting exited to see if Stunna make higher rates for next month.
If not I'm sure massive amount of people goes from this campaign to dicebitco.in.

I think most people will wait, the dicebitcoin owner needs to build trust first.

It's usually noticable by their subject line, I have changed my subject line a few times and the old subject line is still showing in their comments + they never sent me a pm. It's very easy to pick them out.

no offence but there is alot of newbie shill accounts in this contest.

Yes, they're disqualified. They're some kind of bots.
527  Economy / Services / Re: Trusted Member Offering ESCROW SERVICES @ 1% on: July 29, 2014, 08:12:02 PM
Hi, I'm looking for someone to escrow my prizes. I'm holding a contest and 3 winners will be selected by me. This means I will give away 3 prizes, 0.1 btc, 0.25 btc and 0.5 btc. I will start off with 0.1 btc, I will pm you as soon as I pick a winner. However, this could take a few weeks.

Could I do business with you?

No.  I don't see any benefit to providing escrow for this scenario except adding a false sense of trust.  If you're choosing the contest winners, then you could easily select friends or aliases as winners and that would undermine the escrow.  It sounds to me like you need someone to build you a trustless lottery system.

First off, don't make accusations before knowing anything. It's the first time I'm using escrow and yeah I forgot about the fact that you need to choose the winners (else it wouldn't have any point).

There is no reason to become emotional about it.  You asked if we could do business and I explained why I would not provide the service you are requesting.  I turn down quite a few escrow requests for similar reasons.  The only accusation I made was that you need someone to build you a trustless lottery system, which you should view as friendly advice instead of becoming defensive.  I still believe that to be true, as your escrow agent certainly isn't going to choose winners of your contest.

Rofl, then how would I be able to show I'm not "building a trustless lottery system". Ofcourse there are 'escrow agents' that are willing to take 1min of their time to pick a winner, maybe you do not. Besides, my contest is free and no registration is required. It's funny how high ranked members always thinks newer guys are scammers.

The contestants need to come up with a creative line on why they want to win, that's why I didn't think of it.

I answered this question already. When I get home I'll send you all a pm explaining why I don't even know when I can give the last steps.

533  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I got scammed for 3.32 BTC worth 2000 USD on: July 29, 2014, 03:34:26 PM
I think its pretty important to be able to read the site! Since the site is in dutch imho it is very difficult for non dutch speakers to sell there. As to selling from almost any country that is not really true. It uses Iban and that is mostly used in europe and in a couple of other countries but what if the topic starter is in asia, america, australie etc?

I use bitonic a lot my self and they provide a great service but your statement that the TS should just use bitonic is kinda pointless when you don't know where he's from.

EDIT: By looking at the localbitcoins link in the op I assume the topic starter is in Canada or the US and the bitonic isn't a viable option.

It's not a statement, it's a recommendation. All business with them goes supersmooth. I haven't thought of the IBAN thing though.

535  Economy / Gambling / Re: Awesome Bitcoin Gambling on: July 29, 2014, 03:06:42 PM
Very cool btc casino with live chat and open for investors , Well worth a look i got free pizza there yesterday ; )

It's quite risky to invest as the site is -45btc profit. I don't know who did it and how, but the gamblers did pretty good.

Edit: the gambler lost over 65 btc already lol

That big gambler is "Road2wealth".
He has gambled more than 6000 btc on the site for the past 3 days and has brought the site profit down to -51btc at one point. Smiley

I think he got a flat tire on his way to wealth lol. Wow, that's 60 btc profit for the site owner!

I recommend selling your bitcoins on Bitonic.nl, it's dutch but you can easily sell your BTC there.
That is only a good option if you're dutch or belgian

Why? Because the website is Dutch? You can sell from almost any country really.
