The SynchroLife team is launching the SynchroCoin token (ERC20, Token Symbol: SYC) with a crowdsale starting August 3rd, 2017 at 12:00 noon GMT. A beta of the SynchroLife platform (without blockchain and token technology) already exists and we have been testing it in Japan. Currently SynchroLife is a restaurant recommendation platform that allows users to socially record and share restaurants they have dined at and get personalized recommendations calculated with artificial intelligence. SynchroLife is currently avaliable as an app for iOS and Android smartphones, with 30,000 users and growing daily.

Token-based Economy

How does the SynchroCoin work? What value does it have?

To put it most simply: Users earn SynchroCoin for posting content to the SynchroLife platform and then they can use those SynchroCoin to buy coupons or meals at participating restaurants.

Users are rewarded for their time and content with the SynchroCoin and can use this to get discounts at restaurants.
Restaurants also use the SynchroCoin to attract customers through marketing and advertising options within the app, as well as to accept payment for meals at their restaurant.

How are SynchroCoin tokens earned?

Users of the SynchroLife mobile app (and/or website in the future) will be able to earn SynchroCoin tokens for posting high quality restaurant reviews and photos, updating/editing/adding restaurant business information, adding new restaurants, marking closed restaurants, translating restaurant information, reviewing the edits of other users and more. Users will also receive SynchroCoin as rewards for dining at participating restaurant and they will also receive a small amount of SynchroCoin after a restaurant they have contributed to previously pays for advertising/marketing on the SynchroLife platform. Users can also receive SynchroCoin as tips from other users.

How are SynchroCoin tokens used?

Users can use SynchroCoin to buy coupons, discounts, or gift cards from participating restaurants. We also plan in later stages to allow for users to use SynchroCoin to pay for meals at participating restaurants. Users may also use SynchroCoin to tip other users or buy premium features within the service. Restaurants will also buy SynchroCoin to use to pay for advertisements/marketing within the SynchroLife platform.

Problems Solved

We believe the current restaurant search and discovery industry to have many issues including:
・Most centralized services are limited in area because they cannot maintain an accurate database of constantly changing restaurants worldwide
・Many services rank restaurants and/or users by nontransparent algorithms which leads to accusations of fake reviews or unfair treatment for restaurants not participating in advertising/marketing programs
・Many services give all users the same recommendations and sometimes overwhelm users with thousands of results
・Users provide their time and original content in the form of reviews and photos but are rarely compensated for this
・Despite all the restaurant discovery and restaurant news services out there the majority of restaurant still struggle with getting new customers and retaining their current customers

SynchroLife solves these issues by managing restaurant business information from around the world on the blockchain, rewarding and motivating users for their content and time through tokens, and connecting users and restaurants through tokens. We also plan to further develop SynchroLife's artificial intelligence capabilities to give users more personalized recommendations and content. SynchroCoin Token Crowdsale

The SynchroCoin token crowdsale will start August 3, 2017 at 12:00 noon GMT. SynchroCoin is a ERC20 token, based on Ethereum.
Of the total 100,000,000 SynchroCoin tokens issues, 55% (55,000,000) will be sold during the crowdsale.

Details about the pricing and purchasing methods of SynchroCoin, as well as any bonuses during the token crowdsale are still being finalized but will be announced very soon. We will also be uploading our smart contracts to Github and have a security audit of the contracts. SynchroCoin Liquidity
SynchroCoin will be an ERC-20 type token which is currently accepted at the majority of major cryptocurrency exchanges. The SynchroLife team will contact such exchanges and will try to get the SynchroCoin listed on major cryptocurrency exchanges around the world to allow SynchroCoin holders to sell their SynchroCoin tokens on the market once they are transferrable.

Current Mobile App

We have been testing a beta version of the SynchroLife platform (without blockchain and the SynchroCoin token) in Japan and have just begun opening it up to the world. During this beta release we have already gathered over 30,000 users! Users have rated over 77,000 unique restaurants in Japan and have posted over 300,000 photos of the food, menu, interior and exterior of restaurants throughout Japan. We believe that the user engagement and contribution seen through gamification during the beta release will grow with the introduction of tokens and the switch to a decentralized platform, and that the SynchroLife team can work together with users to create a global and successful token-based economy within the platform.
