Shocked

http://coinfire.io/2015/03/25/paycoin-foundation-adam-matlack-under-us-investigation/

That is some very very very serious shit. That is a search warrant, does not get any worse than that. Quick checking Google's Privacy Policy, takes serious shit just got real for them to keel over and hand them this information.  Good Luck to the so-called "Paycoin Foundation" and all its minions, your lives are about to become living hell. It was all fun and games early on until real people are getting hurt....

What's the difference between a subpoena, a search warrant and a court order under ECPA?
...[snip]...

Search Warrant

The threshold is higher still for an ECPA search warrant. To obtain one, a government agency must make a request to a judge or magistrate and meet a relatively high burden of proof: demonstrating "probable cause" to believe that contraband or certain information related to a crime is presently in the specific place to be searched. A warrant must specify the place to be searched and the things being sought. It can be used to compel the disclosure of the same information as an ECPA subpoena or court order—but also a user's search query information and private content stored in a Google Account, such as Gmail messages, documents, photos and YouTube videos. An ECPA search warrant is available only in criminal investigations. The video below provides an overview of how we review and respond to ECPA search warrants.

So, look for all his web sites to go off line soon as they get collected up in search warrants...  paycoin... tried to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear... but just ended up the investors' silk road to the court room steps.  AND, you really have to wonder what his non-US investors think of all of this?  I can't imagine them taking too kindly to the guy gutting them for tens of thousands of dollars based on absolute lies. You'd think they'd want a piece of his hide.

Garza corrected everyone. Apparently Coinfire, et al assumed that GAW would actually comply with a federal subpoena. Garza says that they've had internal discussions (I'm assuming the leaked emails), but that they haven't released any information to the SEC.

So... if the SEC didn't get Adam's name from Garza (blessed be his name).... and Adam has been served with a subpoena already.... that must mean the NSA is behind all of this and that Garza's (blessed be his name) idea is SO revolutionary that it scared even the Federal Reserve right down to its musty foundation and the Federal Reserve has called in the NSA to squash Garza (blessed be his name) and the revolutionary PayCoin in it's infancy before it destroys the value of the U.S. Dollar... time to buy!

OR... or.... Garza is a liar :-(

ah yeah we forgot that Mr. Ganza the jailbird is above the law and does not have to comply with pesky SEC requests

If you look at the subpoena not complying is a misdemeanor + $1k + 1yr + contempt of court charges (what ever they bring).  BUT, it would only make sense to go that route if you were very sure they could not make their case without your information. Given that garza has left a trail miles wide and spread all over the internet and a heck of a lot of it has been archived off by people following it... and there are several people involved who would also have to be willing to hold out against an investigation... I'm betting his attorney is going to tell him to comply.

I was expecting them to start a kickstarter fund to subsidize their new CoinStand venture that stands to turn economics on it's head through the sale of cheap electronics... now am waiting for the kickstarter campaign for the Garza (blessed be his name) defense fund... and, since his kids are now having to attend schools over seas... they probably should start a fund to pay their tuition too... you know... just being fair about the guy who stands to revolutionize crypto currency and all.

gonzo says its trash. eat it! 6 upvotes, hillarious Cheesy

I thought he was saying that Paycoin Foundation is trash, seemed kind of harsh. Now I'm thinking maybe he meant something else. Hard to tell with his waffly language.

Yet, there is this email exchange on Feb 13 ( archive link: https://archive.today/qKW22#selection-1109.0-1127.101 ) regarding:
Quote
Item #8 of the SEC Subpoena:
“Documents sufficient to identify all GAW investors by name. For each person identified, provide the personal address, work address, email address, phone number(s), and/or any other form of identifying information”

This is directed towards the people who purchased the 15 Prime Controllers. Who has this information?

WOW... pathalogical liar much?  The emails are between the two Garzas and the attorney.

Did Homero quit paying the bill on btc.com?

Looks like he quite paying the bill. Their cure period ended Feb 20 and read in one email that the owner gave an extension of a day or so... so the timing looks like they never paid up. The bill was for $25k and not sure if that was a monthly thing, but seems like if he really paid $1million, that would have been a monthly payment.

Email that was archived. I've seen a longer archive of this thread, but not sure where that one is archived at. https://archive.today/iKu2N

He is also the Communications Director at Clearpoint Church in Pasadena, Texas which now finds itself under increased scrutiny from the IRS by association of Mr. Matlack as well.

I hope they shut down another fraudulent religious scammer and the megachurch. If he didn't steal the church's money then I wouldn't doubt if he peddled supposedly ultra religious Mr. Ganza and his Peecoin to the masses. They may be innocent but any church shutdown is a win in my eyes. Enough of these "tax free religious institutions" run by purely greedy scumbags.

He's a Disciple Maker... so is uniquely qualified to run the un-Foundation for the ultimate un-Coin?

And from reading the emails... he was into them for a serious amount of money?  I'm thinking it was around $250k? Just how much do those churches pay their comms directors?

There's something sad that this is a "buck up buddy" statement and not met with total incredulity... they're actually calling it "great" customer service that they were notified quickly that the site has been hacked (again?).

WOW...
