@ralle14 & @arallmuus
That Manchester City match was a good one for bettors as the corner over bets hit aswell the over 2.5 goals for their team bet also won.
So congratulations to both of you on those wins!
Thanks. I also noticed the new price boost, and it feels unusual after being used to the old one being snappy and fast.  Cheesy

Unfortunately, we don't have any notable daily specials, so i'll try my luck with one of the FA Cup matches for today. The total goals for the Southampton vs. Watford match caught my attention. It seems so high when their recent results have been low-scoring.

Edit: Pushed, it was looking good until the second half.  Tongue

It seems Team Spirit is just way better than any team currently around. I guess they are going to win this tournament again most likely.
BOL on the Team Spirit bet. I was close to taking them, but I had to switch my bet to Gaimin Gladiators since I can't count out BetBoom, knowing they're very familiar with Team Spirit.

Totally love the group stage to end as soon as possible so we can progress to the playoff stage indeed.
Same, and it's why i've been shifting my focus to other tournaments (IEM Katowice and LoL) for now.  Grin
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: February 06, 2024, 07:12:31 AM
You actually don't need to buy points on that game because they dominated the Sacramento Kings with 26 points victory. It was the defense of the Cavaliers that was really impressive, they are as hot as the Clippers but Mitchell is playing differently, he trust his teammates more now and they are cooperating with their leader.

Max Strus has been huge, score 22 points (made 6-10 beyond the arc). This guy could have help Miami if they did sign him.
Today's bet was stress-free Cheesy and on top of the solid defense, they had a better three-point shooting percentage.

The Knicks' spread is tempting for tomorrow. They'll be facing the Grizzlies, who have 10+ players out from their lineup, and i'm still debating if I should live bet them or go for it this early before the odds start moving.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This was my highest risk. on: February 06, 2024, 12:48:13 AM
Have you ever taken such a huge risk on gambling before?
Yesterday I experienced what I have never experienced before but I am very much happier because my risk wasn't in vain.

So have you ever taken such a risk on gambe before?
I'm glad that buying your friend's parlay paid off. In the eyes of others, the risk might not be as high because of the favored odds, but I understand that the last few legs between parlays are mostly the matches that would let us down. I've had some high-risk bets in the past, and they're usually single bets with increased stakes because parlays always give me false hope when they mostly fall short by one or two legs.

In terms of parlays, the highest decimal odds that I won was around 10.00, and I still can't forget this one back then only because of a promo.

First pick : Cleveland -5.
They are on a winning streak now. With a good home record which is 17-8, I believe they can beat the Kings who have been winning their last 2 road games.

Cleveland Cavaliers - Sacramento Kings - Cleveland Cavaliers (-4.5) - Jarrett Allen is questionable to play. I guess that's why the spreads are low.
Good to see we're all on the Cavs side. Allen and Garland are already confirmed to play and maybe that's why the odds are slightly going down.

Both teams have been on a good winning run recently, but the Cavs have been more impressive after beating the Clippers and Bucks. Also bought a few points because I don't want to lose by the hook again like yesterday. Tongue

Cant find them on my end, well I guess its not really only an issue for me because @rdbase seems to be having it as well

Made my own betbuilder for tonight's game
Nice addition on the corners, and at least we both cashed our bets. Cool Hopefully, the specials automatically get fixed for you guys soon.

Man City was pressing during the first 40 minutes, and corners came raining down on their end. Brentford's keeper was impressive in the first half, but it was only a matter of time before the goals came in.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: February 05, 2024, 05:54:02 PM
We got the Man City vs. Brentford match for today's Sportsbet special.

The Man City special is good enough to slam at these odds, assuming the regular odds are around 1.45-1.50~ through the betbuilder with the price boost. Brentford will probably get one goal, but Man City should still win when they need to keep winning for the title race.

What do you think, is this good and can help me overcome losses that will occur so that $$ remains safe and can be used in future betting? Are there other unique ways that you can use to grow your money in gambling? feel free to comment. Thanks
Using profits coming from your recent bet is a good alternative i've used the same strategy before, but it's best if you can be strict with your bet sizing, like sticking to a 1-5 rating in terms of confidence per bet instead of using your profits in one go because you can't count out the possibility of losing several bets in a row.

I'd suggest adding an objective of prolonging your bankroll so you'll be discouraged from making aggressive bets.

It's not dead yet as they were able to come back from that big deficit. Now, the game went to OT, there's a chance for them to cover the spread as we have extra 5 minutes to make it happen. Good luck mate, this bet just came alive again.

I had some live bets taken, I got the Utah Jazz moneyline @3.05 as I believe that the Bucks will get tired in the 2nd half after a strong start and the home team will take this win at home.
The sequence of events was unbelievable from the side of OKC. They just kept on chucking threes until the Raptors started missing. The Raptors failed to take advantage of the opportunity to close it out in the first OT and I thought they were about to end it there with a bucket in the last few seconds.

It was all OKC in the second OT, but not enough to cover my ticket.  Tongue

2 more rounds to go! Do you feel the pressure?
Yup, for us sitting in the other half of the standings, it's mounting for sure. If it weren't for Kanapka's disqualification, maybe I would've felt relieved, but now that I see myself within the bottom spots, we're back to serious mode.

I'm praying that my luck pulls through for this round and maybe Chi20 won't mind sharing at least a point.  Wink

532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To what extent have you hated yourself due to your gambling losses? on: February 05, 2024, 12:39:54 AM
So, let's share our worst gambling experiences, have you ever hated yourself so much due to lack of winnings in gambling? To what extent, and how did it end?

Do you still hate yourself even now?  Grin
I can recall losing several deposits in a row throughout the week, and the worst thing i've done is probably slapping my face to wake up from the same mistake that i've been struggling to deal with.

Now, I would simply cope through other means instead of hating myself so I could quickly move on from those losses and form a plan on what my next move would be because losing is always part of gambling, and the best way to deal with it is by letting it go.
533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: February 05, 2024, 12:02:07 AM
Los Angeles Lakers ended the nine straight wins of New York Knicks. I had a -4.5 wager on Knicks, but I expected Lebron and Davis to play. I believed that Knicks is simply the more difficult team to beat, the streak and more energy because the squad is playing at MSG. Brunson and DiVincenzo had a great night, but their teammates could not contribute.
They're doing so well within the first three quarters, and somehow it got worse in the fourth quarter, allowing the Lakers to go on a run and get away with a win.

I'll fade the Raptors today as they've been accumulating losses, and surely OKC, the second-best team covering the spread get the job done.

Edit: My ticket is so dead, OKC's offense isn't clicking and the Raptors are keeping it rolling.  Lips sealed
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another Two Category Of Gamblers That We Are Not Aware Of on: February 04, 2024, 05:24:56 PM
Between those two categories, i'd probably fall under the action gambler even though I have a bit of similarity with the escape gambler (unemotional) since i'm mostly making small sports bets, but some of the parts about the said category don't apply to me, like wanting to beat the casino. You'll eventually realize that part is impossible, and believing you can do it would only cause unnecessary losses.

536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: February 04, 2024, 02:49:47 AM
ENCE with gla1ve is also starting to become impressive after their upset against Vitality.

I can't believe Heroic are actually playing decent CS2 after they barely won a game in the last month... . Now , they are about to win 1st map against G2 and push this series towards 3 maps.

Also , funny how Falcons are doing great in Dota2 but they are awful in CS2 right ? I mean they do have a stacked roster but almost all of them are way past their prime.
Yeah, they were terrible during the recent Blast Spring tournament and I also thought they'd continue to get stomped again.

Maybe Team Falcons have a synergy problem since not all players can easily click with new teammates after achieving good results from their previous team and the same thing happens with Dota teams.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you invest on this kind of offer? on: February 04, 2024, 01:17:08 AM
I'd most likely avoid that offer since i've seen people, even trusted ones, suddenly dip with the money after providing a similar offer that sounds too good. I'd better take my chances with casinos if they have the same reputation, and I don't mind taking small losses when you can eventually gain them back with the help of the casino's edge. To me, I don't have to worry as much when casinos have more reasons to keep operating and could earn more in the long run.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: February 04, 2024, 12:46:51 AM
3-2 last night.  Tonight I'm going in hard on the Knicks-4.5 I have a hunch AD and Bron are both playing.  For one it's a prime time game and it's at MSG.  Players love playing there and the Knicks are surging so they need all the fire power they can get.  With that being said their defense has been amazing since the turn of the new year.  I expect it to continue and keep the Lakers under 100 tonight.
With the line going down even further, they'll probably play.

I guess i'm lucky to get the Knicks spread down to -2.5, and even without Anunoby, the Knicks should still beat the Lakers and extend their win streak.

I also doubt the Lakers could have another field day in the 3-point range and get away with it for the second time.
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a generous gamblers on: February 04, 2024, 12:05:38 AM
I used to be generous back then, mostly with my friends, and gifted them skins a few times because I wanted to make their day, but now I doubt I could be that generous again when I could barely land any big wins or even reach the minimum withdrawal. I always remember spending my winnings that way, buying a gift for myself or someone else because it's easy to become greedy once you start winning, wanting more until you lose it all back in the casino.
