521  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ratimov is deleting self-moderated topics. He now goes onto my Ignore list. on: October 25, 2023, 01:24:00 PM
I think there's nothing wrong to do that, but deleting people posts for a sake of own satisfy is childish.
I disagree, not childish but evil.

He is deleting conversations where he was accused to be a plagiarist and the conversations where he insulted others badly. He removes it to hide his trace so that it does not effect his DT position, I can not think any other reason for it.

trying to build a reputation here.
People build their reputation here, gives their time maybe for the love for Bitcoin or maybe to have a business f their own. Everyone works on building their reputation but when someone is obsessed with their reputation and using the hole of the system to achieve it then their motive become questionable. Since they are not honest, trusting them with anything can be risky.

In doing so, he moved some of them to the Russian local board.  Undecided For example https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5379199
No doubt he study the wholes and use the wholes in his favor to fool moderators, to fools everyone else.

[....] after reviewing Many topics, I do not think that the reason for the deletion was to hide plagiarism or any other activities. He may have been a little disturbed by his previous posts.

Frankly, I did not find enough time to read the GazetaBitcoin topic, so my reply is limited to my posts that have been deleted.
Well find enough time to read it before giving any statement about the emotional state of Ratimov. Clearly you too were fooled like everyone else.
522  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov be in DT1? on: October 25, 2023, 12:46:24 PM
So the fact that Ratimov was not banned for plagiarism does not mean he did not plagiarize. He did plagiarize and this brought him tons of merits until he was caught (about 3000 merits or so). And with 3000 merits you build a solid image about yourself inside the forum.
To be honest, I haven’t read such a large wall of text in a long time and I think that the essence could have been presented more briefly.
I think everyone who is responding on this topic should read the main thread first before writing anything else. My mistake was, I too was like you and ignored the wall of text but last night I was on my phone and had the time to read the whole topic. It took me a full half an hour but I am glad that my time was not wasted.

Later on he returned, offering me a deal: to delete the feedback I left him and he will delete the feedbacks he left me. Meaning his usual behavior.
The same deal was offered to me and unfortunately there were some other uses too who were supporting it. I now realize those some other users who supported it and me were not aware that it was just a tactic. We simply thought it was a way to deescalate the situation. Ratimov was successful in his evil spell.

You have done a great job @GazetaBitcoin, I am sorry all those days I was ignoring it. Sometimes you feel alone and then you give up. I was having such time.

Ratimov should not be in entire DT. ~Ratimov has done.

My original feedback for him is going back again.
523  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ratimov is deleting self-moderated topics. He now goes onto my Ignore list. on: October 25, 2023, 12:32:18 PM
Yehey another Ratimov topic!
No! No! No! Not again!

Now I realize why wasn't I find my posts when I wanted to get some reference of some lame conversation with Ratimov. So basically he moves his topics to archive, deletes his own posts from the topic, then the replies for those posts by others become irrelevant, and finally he reports the entire topic to the moderator to delete the whole topic.

By this, he was again making the moderators fool. It's not new from him. The moderators should be ashamed of it.
524  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do members switch campaigns always? on: October 24, 2023, 04:10:19 PM
What makes members move everytime? I need your contribution on this to make me understand it better.
I was with Stake for long time. What I remember is, I realized Stake was paying better than the existing campaign I was in [I can not remember which one I was with LOL] so I thought to talk to their campaign manager. She was nice and also understand what I will accept and what not. I had two requests [1.] I don't want to replace my avatar [2.] receive the expected payment I think is okay with me.

After discussing many things, many possibilities she agreed and I was promoting Stake.

Then a few weeks ago Coins.Game manager reached out to me and showed his interest to help the brand. The project looks promising and challenging. I also like the way he approached and wanted help. Additionally he offered me a better pay rate too. I felt okay with it. So I went back to Stake management, told them if they are fine if I want to move from them. They offered me some alternatives, it's not that I did not like but I wanted to take some new challenge but with less work [lazy LOL, it keeps my mind fresh].

I think people change campaign is because, first they want a better pay rate, second the respect and honor you receive from the people you are co-operating with.
525  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov be in DT1? on: October 24, 2023, 01:57:07 PM
Many things are handled by trust system that shouldn't be handled.
True. But that doesn't mean I can't advocate the correct use of the Trust system.
Yeah keep advocating, good luck.

I don't mind the neutral tags much. But negative (and positive) lose their value if they're often used incorrectly.
Let's read some neutral feedback.

Quote
Liar and rumor monger. He believes that everything he does on the forum should not be criticized. He attacks anyone who criticizes him through distrust and negative trust.

Quote
Misuses Trust system while being DT1 user. Liar, troll, making ridiculous fake accusations for which he presents no evidence. Very untrustworthy user, which deliberately spreads lies. Avoid.

Quote
Used to be, in my eyes, a respected and reputable member of Bitcointalk but in recent times they've turned incredibly vindictive while virtue signaling to the extreme. Sad to see.

Quote
BEWARE: BitcoinGirl.Club cannot be trusted. Made baseless accusations against me as part of a revenge ploy to post lies then keep repeating them. Do not trust a compulsive liar as BitcoinGirl.Club

BitcoinGirl.Club seems mentally unwell, suffers from serious anger problems and from delusions of grandeur because of an overinflated ego (revised to neutral)

Quote
"BenCodie" made remarkable statements he was trying to get selected on Whirlwind signature campaign when he was convinced it was a scam. He opted to not warn others who applied believing it was a genuine business.

Reluctantly I am leaving neutral feedback rather than red because he semi-retracted the claim later.

Quote
BEWARE: "unibitcoinist" cannot be trusted. With his 6 posts in the previous 3 years and 3 months, this alt-account is being used occasionally by the duplicitous operator.

As the previous feedback states, "unibitcoinist" is a general nuisance trying pass himself off as concerned member. The real forum account of the puppeteer is not known.

Looking on the color you call them neutral, but when you read the sentence do you feel it was neutral? If any of these were applied to your feedback page, I am sure you would not mind at all.

Neutral feeedback should be neutral, like literally it should be neutral.
Some examples:
Quote
Arsenal fails to win [which they will] the season title, Mouse gives me 1mbtc or I give 2.5mbtc. Side bet.
Quote
Open side bet in EPL Pool. I will finish the season ahead of this CLS63 f**ker LOL.
Quote
Negative revised to neutral. Account was maybe hacked and returned to owner.
526  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit has literally has thrown my money away, sending it to an FTX address on: October 24, 2023, 01:46:36 PM
[...] went through a Google Meeting with SmokeyLisa to ensure that It was me who was verifying and then the Rollbit Team did a deep investigation on my account and my money to ensure that I wasn’t laundering any money or breaking the rules of the website

[...]

I've give your explanation a thorough reading, the above part I snipped from the rest probably explains how and why this thing happened to you. In fact, I was going to ask about it in case you didn't explain it first.

IIRC, many casinos established a rule when someone was suspected to do an AML and prove their source of income [which are not from ML activities], they can only withdraw to their deposit address, let's call it a second layer of prevention against AML.

I'm not sure if Razer will do anything about it, given the fund already went through and it's a rule of AML, but I'll send Razer a PM, see if there's anything he can do.
It must be a complicated case. The case was over a year ago and when a fund is sent from a custodial wallet then accident like this is obvious. Rollbit part can't be told as wrong but considering the time that was gone, it needed a confirmation of whether the address have the access or not.

We can learn a lesson from it though. It's better to send funds to anywhere from a noncustodial wallet rather then a third party custodial wallet. OP would access his money without any problem.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: October 24, 2023, 01:36:53 PM
Turns out no one cares about this topic, everyone is too busy with PL thread LOL

Mea culpa, I even remembered to ping an update on the La Liga thread but there really was a lot going on elsewhere. Don't think anyone should pass up the game at Milan tonight though, if you're able to. That's also important for BSFL Wink

Otherwise, wretched performance even if I got one exact so far this week.

Hijacking a bit for La Liga -- thought I was smart getting Las Palmas draw but the 0-1 Italian old curse crept up, huh. Girona and Almeria serving up quite a fest and it's not even half time!

But promise, Atalanta will have my eyes next =D

Edit: Oh wait! I got 3 exact scores haha! Lots of ground to make up on bullrun tho...
Bro! one of the reason I am not active on this thread is I have almost zero to talk about these leagues. Only know few teams who are big like, Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan and some others. When I pick I actually check their recent results and blindly go for a side. For Serie A it works sometimes but for shit LaLiga its not working at all LOL
528  Economy / Reputation / Re: To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men on: October 24, 2023, 12:59:30 PM
Reputation used to be a thing that you earn, and let others decide how reputable/trustworthy they think you are.
Absolutely! But sadly, the members turned it into trust farming and the competition to have green feedback higher than each others.

This political campaign style nonsense is seriously cringy.
This reminded me of theymos' post when he introduced the DefaultTrust changes:
In borderline cases, it should result in something of a political battle.
I don't think it's political, I have no interest in gaining any benefit. This is political, this is what I think about it.

529  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov be in DT1? on: October 24, 2023, 12:53:27 PM
it's hard to convince myself, at least at the moment, that theft -- intellectual theft, in this case -- does not fall under the cases when negative feedback can be used.
I'm more pragmatic: plagiarism is dealt with by forum rules, and if something is handled by forum rules, it shouldn't be handled by the Trust system.
Many things are handled by trust system that shouldn't be handled.

Someone is pissed, they will leave a neutral note with insults on the trust feedback
Someone thinks the other one is not writing up to the standard posts, they will write these or that guy is a spammer.

Problem in this community, when something do not affect you personally, members are silent and writing things that are politically correct and don't make others their target but when the same thing effect you directly then you feel it's not right.

The trust system would work much better if we were not selfish and had the genuine interest to speak when it's needed for the forum, not when it's needed for personal benefit.

What GazetaBitcoin is doing are inspired by his personal reasons.

I was always proactive against Ratimov and JollyGood. Ratimov was able to burn his wrongs in the grave yard, not sure if he is continuing the same but JollyGood is still actively using you all. However, after all these days I am done though. I said, I" was always ..."
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: October 22, 2023, 01:25:44 PM
Turns out no one cares about this topic, everyone is too busy with PL thread LOL
I had a good start yesterday with Verona vs Napoli. 3 points and then Inter's last goal missed me 1.5 points or I would have another 3 points. But in the last match between Sassuolo vs Lazio I think I was lucky that things could go worse for me.

Somehow I was very confident that the match will end with a draw. But after Lazio scored two goals, I was thinking why not go for a both team to score because it seemed like a goal from Sassuolo was going to happen anyway, even they could come back and draw the match [I had a 2 - 2 draw LOL]. Then I became busy with some other things and forgot about it. Later when checked the result, I saw nothing happened. If I was logged in with my gambling account I would lose a good amount, I was almost determined to place a big amount so that I could recover my lose of the last two weeks.
531  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAMMER] Karthik Sakthivel - Ozone Chain - Did not pay Bounty Hunters on: October 22, 2023, 01:16:58 PM
I sent the Scam accusation link to Karthik, and he replied me like Eris will talk with me, please hold on. Let's see what happen. I will not close this accusation until the issue got fixed for sure.
You should not. If they want to clear their mess, they need to send the payments they promised. These hunters and you worked hard to promote their brand and them expecting to receive it free is stupid. Isn't it better to receive the payment upfront so that you don't need to chase them? As a forum member you have a reputation to protect but for them there are no incentives if they do not get desire results.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 22, 2023, 01:10:09 PM
[...snip...]
Your Chelsea is improving. Good game last night. I was surprised to see the result. I thought Arsenal will have a win from this match and I went with a 1 - 2 for Arsenal. But it did not happen.

However, leading by 2 goals and then giving away two points is not that good at all. Good luck.
533  Economy / Reputation / Re: "Bitcointalk" is part of my family living life & my "Baby birthday celebration" on: October 22, 2023, 01:05:30 PM
Thanks @satoshi & @theymos To give me a chance,

Thanks to bitcointalk and all other members because we found bitcointalk at a critical time in our life.

Please everyone pray for my family.
Thanks Satoshi for creating bitcoin. It has changed many lives.

Happy to see it has a good impact in your life. I don't know how much it benefits to your monthly income but for some regions signature campaign income is good enough to pay their monthly bills.

My best wishes with you and your family.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: October 19, 2023, 11:45:19 PM

Mine I have it mixed in a single gambling session, sometimes I got a series of losses then hit a huge win, sometimes I got a huge win and hit a series of losses at the end losing my bankroll. Reason why often times I got confused whether I have to stop or withdraw.  The only action I make is to create a certain limit, if I reach a certain amount, I will deposit and at the same time if I lose a certain amount, I stop and play again next time.
It seems one thing is common between you and me, we lose our bankroll at the end of the day. For me gambling is fun and a way to escape the boring time I have. I don't mind losing but when I lose too much then I give a break.

If we don't lose then all these gambling business will be bankrupt LOL
535  Other / Meta / Re: Why did a mod delete my posts from 7-2 months ago that didn't violate any rules? on: October 19, 2023, 09:16:13 PM
new thread is still in economics
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5469669.0

first thread is in politics.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5469546.0

And even though I was annoyed at the mods decision to move the first thread I can see why he did it.

The second thread Is likely getting too many answers that are political rather than economical as people are at a fever pitch and do not look at this like I do:

Both sides are played and tricked into fighting so that governments will make laws to stop terror which into hurts crypto.

I see it as a simple extension of the military industrial complex taking freedom from us all and attacking crypto as a threat to their money making.
Moderators are human just like us. Many of my posts were deleted in the past and I think they do delete my posts regularly. I used to look back in the past but now I don't care that much. I feel better to ignore and let them do their work. I don't think any moderator have any personal problem with anyone, even if they have, I don't think it will effect in their moderation job.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: October 19, 2023, 08:35:53 PM
You never know what luck may bring you, but for that instance, never to allow greed to push forward. Use your instinct to quit and enjoy with
something that you win.
I think luck comes to me in a cycle. When I am lucky and winning, I usually withdraw the amount after a session. But when I am not lucky and losing, my days are like feeling to gamble, deposit, losing, depositing again and losing again. It goes for several cycle before eventually I am going for a break for few days or weeks or even months.

Right now I am in a break after losing a lot in the cricket world cup matches. The premier league and champions league match day are coming soon, I may start gambling again if I feel I can win from a certain market.
537  Economy / Reputation / Re: Newbie With First Thread Promoting Trust Wallet - How Much Trust Wallet Pay ? on: October 19, 2023, 07:42:14 PM
if Trust wallet or any other wallet/services pay let's say 0.01BTC ( ~$288 ) and more per thread and forum admin agree paid fake reality threads.
No one in their right min will move $400k for $288 and risk their crypto asset to a shit wallet.

Haha, you, my friend, put this topic in the wrong section. I don't think it belonged to the meta section; maybe in Helps or Beginners. Well, let's leave it for the moderators.
It's a perfect thread for Bitcoin Discussion board 😉

Anyway, if there are any other hidden emojis, you can suggest their codes
I am not a fan of those extensions to have in my browser. I think I have tried a few in the past but never felt secure. For emojis Emojipedia is the best for me.
Try https://emojipedia.org
539  Economy / Reputation / Re: Who is alamin99 ? Scammer ? Hacker ? Exit Dev ? on: October 18, 2023, 02:24:59 PM
Buddy I was just pissed with that guy and taught him a lesson. And that is story from long time ago.
Would you mind explaining to us why it took you almost five years to respond to this thread? Regarding your reasoning behind the hacking incident, from what I've read so far it appears that you're not telling the truth!
Not vouching for anyone but in a general response.

Everyone has their own life, personal IRL or online. It does not look the user alamin99 is regular anymore on the forum too. Asking such questions like why anyone decided to respond after x amount of time is just a conversation loop.

I don't have full story but what I get from this post of yours is, the stealing/hacking or whatever it happened, after the incident alamin99 realized his guild and respond with the return [if I read correctly]. In such situation, leaving a negative feedback seems very unnecessary. Instead of encouraging the right which won against a wrong, you are discouraging others to stay silent with their past mistakes.
540  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: October 18, 2023, 02:11:55 PM

Here is another one of my betslips with a free bet I had.  Grin  These days things are going on really well for me in betting. However I'm still afraid of losing this amount I won in a short time.  Grin  Being greedy can be really dangerous in betting. To create a solution for that I decided to put a target for myself to withdraw at least the most of the money I have if I reach that level.
Gambling is all about winning and losing. Last few weeks I was having good luck and winning my slips but few days ago in two to three days I lost such an amount that my winnings became very small in front of the losings. LOL

I hope your luck stays for longer time.
