521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will registered poker sites ask for id? on: August 08, 2017, 06:19:52 AM
These sites are large and legitimate sites. Most players on these sites deposit and withdraw with fiat, but the sites offers bitcoin as an alternative.
if they're large, legitimate sites, then they're most likely registered with studying government agency and have to comply with regulations concerning ID and gambling age, etc. since they do deal with fiat currency, I'd say they are definitely registered.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: August 08, 2017, 05:20:43 AM
Do you gamble at land based casinos?
No, in my country, gambling or casino is not legalized yet so that I can't go to casino, I will be arrested. Furthermore, there is no casino in the place I am living, so that if I want to go to a casino to play, I can't. Sad

Well if it's like that in your area then you can't really do anything but settle for online casinos. Sometimes it's not whether you prefer online or real casinos but you have to abide by laws and restrictions. Fortunately for me, i grew up being able to experience going to a real casino and i can tell you, the experience is very different from doing it online
I don't go to land based casinos and I have never been there before and there's no such place I would go like that. If others are particular here in online casinos then you are just making yourself a bait because you know in online there are many ways a computer can trick you when you bet something. However, if it's just a trial and error way then that's fine but if it deals with money then that's already another story that could give you stress. I think real casino compare to online is quite different but real casino is more complicated because you can see the real reactions of people around you.
Real casino experience is different from online casino experience I agree. But real casino will give real fun and here you will get many options to play. Instant money no need to wait to get your winnings. And one more thing you will see all types of gamblers in a real casino, and you will learn many strategies from them. I had visited and had a lot of fun.
I don't think you can really separate the kind of fun you experience in an online /irl casino environment, it's fundamentally the same imo. it's a different environment, sure, but people enjoy throwing their money at it all the same. in either case, you can definitely argue the environment makes for a whole different experience. it's not bad to go there and kill a few hours with a set budget.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: August 08, 2017, 05:08:06 AM
I think yes Because the experience will be your capital in the condition and the existing situation in gambling. Like your emotional control I think The experience is indeed in need
The experience will help you to control your emotion as that would only be the difference that cannot be learn by studying alone on what you read.
With experience you are more compose as you getting matured in gambling, you know how to handle things both in winning and losing situation, so always learn from your experience if you want to last and enjoy gambling.

Wise experienced will tell us to only gamble for fun and entertainment and with the money that we can afford to lose. However, if we play with games that require skills like in poker, our experience will really count along the way.
not necessarily. experience doesn't necessarily translate info self control as far as gambling and budgeting goes, but more often than not, those with more time spent gambling will tend to exercise more self control for whatever reasons they might have. some people just don't learn from losing out, and it's pretty apparent if you look around the gambling section for a while. have to agree with you on poker though.
524  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genuine bitcoin investment website on: August 08, 2017, 03:48:22 AM
A friendly reminder. Don't invest on any High Yield Investment Program (HYIP). They are tested and proven SCAMS. So beware. You can invest on cloudmining on Genesis. But i don't think it could give you a decent profit. Also as the other one said. Casino investment. This is also dangerous because some owners are cheating on their investors because the lack of transparency. You can try trading. But it takes a lot of effort to learn. But i could give you decent profit if you master it.
I'd advise against cloud mining, even if they aren't just a front for a ponzi achieving ROI is extremely unlikely, at most you'll make marginal profits after a long time. casino bankroll investing, in the long run, imo, is far more likely to net you a profit.
525  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I need bitcoin targeted traffic for my faucet on: August 08, 2017, 03:22:03 AM
Does anyone know where I can add my faucet to a rotator or buy bitcoin targeted adverts for my faucet? Referral commission is 70%
personally i dont know if rotators simply just add you to their list or whatnot, but look around them and see if they offer it. also, osme of the big faucets allow users to purchase ad space for a price per impression basis, iirc freebitco.in offered it. can't speak for its efficiency or costs but it'd be worth looking in to. also, you could try browsing around the services / digital goods sections of the forum, ask around and make a post if there's no one offering that service.
526  Economy / Services / Re: [INVEST] I Want to invest 0.5 BTC + on: August 08, 2017, 02:37:23 AM
Hi there,
I won't unfortunately be able to give you an idea where to invest your money. But I want to give you an advice, don't trust every idea given to you, especially from new accounts. Some of them will show you risky ways such as gambling or ponzi schemes.Just don't fall into their trap, you will certainly lose your money if you do so be careful right there.
This, and if you are going to invest in anything, be sure to do your research on whatever service / company youre putting your money in. chances are, given that its a bitcoin related service youre investing in, there's going to be a thread about that service on the forum.
A good go-to with a positive EV is investing in a online casino's bankroll though, theres a few of them that have been around for a while and are worth trusting.
527  Economy / Exchanges / Re: XAPO or...? on: August 08, 2017, 01:48:15 AM
i had the most problems with Xapo 1-2 years ago, since then I dont use it.
I used xapo around that time too, didn't really have any problems with it for the few months I tried out their service; you might've been an isolated incident. can't speak for their card though, although it seems a few people tried it out and found it useful.
528  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Eobot on: August 08, 2017, 12:32:01 AM
You will lost your money if invest your money on cloud mining. many people have sad story after investing on cloud mining because before they got a profit the company has been collapsed.
sounds like you're talking about a ponzi scheme disguised as a cloud mining operation when you say 'collapsed.' that aside, cloud mining in the first place isn't profitable, the company is making money off of you; they wouldn't rent out their hardware otherwise. buying your own miner instead would be better, depending on electricity prices.
529  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are ways to earn bitcoin (cloud mining, lending, etc) besides trading. on: August 07, 2017, 11:35:48 PM
In that regard to earn at least 5-10% month similar to dividends almost.
I do trading but thats so up and down.
Cloud mining - Anyones that are legit?
Lending - Heard of this can you explain how it works?
Diamond - heard of this please explain.
Thanks

cloud mining - unless they show extensive evidence in the form of unedited pictures with proof of ownership of mining hardware or videos, i wouldn't even consider it. in addition, there's no reason for the organization to sell / rent out their mining power if theyre not making money off of you. keep in mind its a business.
leding - i havent been on here in quite a long time but the lending section of the forum used to be a decent gig. not sure about 5-10% monthly, but you can garner that much off each loan that you send out, but the total profit you'll get will depend on the amount you're loaning out based on demand. taking collateral and knowing who to trust is something you'll have to get familiar with if you want to get into it though.
diamond - new to me, dont know anything about it, assuming this is some sort of service and not actual diamonds we're talking about.
530  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Micro hash/Legit or Scam on: August 07, 2017, 11:18:08 PM
However 100GHS a limit cap seems like an issue, and 10% a day guarantee  seems a bit questionable

this is just a quick shot off a mining calculator

that aside, everything this site seems to be promising are just out of the realm of possibility; 10%+ of initial investment a day with just 100gh/s, and roi in 7 days? nah.
keep in mind the screenshot above isnt even accounting for difficulty increases. tbh can't think of it as anything other than a ponzi, id stay far, far away.
Unless they show extensive evidence of them actually owning the miners i wouldnt consider them a legitimate operation.

534  Other / Meta / Re: Newbies banned from some sections on: July 27, 2016, 11:12:10 PM
I don't know if there is a thread about this, but i just noticed many newbies or some pretending to be newbies that i think they are trying to scam and is asking for a loan that is really high.

Why would anyone give a loan to a newbie?
It is like you giving money to some guy on the street that you saw first time in your life and expecting that he will return it.
people are pretty gullible; its happened before and it'll definitely happen again.

Besides the abusers who create all the time new account and try to scam people. There are also newbies with good intentions and think that each escrow agent need to think by ther self if they want to loan someone or not. Like always think twice before you loan anyone and how is the chance that the person hold his promise and pay you nice back.
the possibility of this scenario is why newbies will not be banned from the lending section, in the case they have collateral and whatnot.
535  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Favorite presidential candidate on: March 09, 2016, 07:17:59 AM
Wow there is a huge Trumping majority here.

Aren't bitcoiners supposed to be a bit against the system? Roll Eyes

yes, they should have been the best opponent of the system but not .. maybe, society push them to be like them who knows ? but for sure, if we can resist the society, this world will be a good place to live in..

society fails then lol.

trump has so many issues with his approach on things.. just because he was a successful business man doesnt get him a law degree saying im a potential presidential candidate.

the system is already broken as it is..
the fact that trump gets this much support pretty much because hes 'anti - establishment' without any great elaboration or experience with policy is a huge show of the progressing failure of american society itself.
536  Other / Politics & Society / Re: "Inside the Clinton Team’s Plan to Defeat Donald Trump" on: March 03, 2016, 07:40:27 AM
plan or not, trump will absolutely destroy hillary if it comes down to those two, especially since one of the major driving forces of this years election seems to be the theme of anti - establishment.
537  Other / Meta / Re: idea--- A decentralised trust system on: February 26, 2016, 06:06:06 PM
How about a decentralised trust system -snip- such as the one found over on thebot.net and hackforums.net
-snip-

How do these systems work in comparisson to here?

Everyone's feedback counts, the system on thebot.net works perfectly but the one on hackforums has some hiccups
some degree of centralization is unavoidable, complete decentralization will only lead to abuse and shilling, especially on this forum.
538  Other / Meta / Re: Making $6000 by owning 100 bitcointalk accounts on: February 17, 2016, 01:43:10 PM
What rule would they be breaking? There is no limit as to how many posts you can make per day, and there is no limit as to how many accounts you can have. You are assuming that the posts would be of low quality, which may or may not be the case.
I never said that they would be breaking a rule. It is correct that there is no limit. However, this method is based on posting in order to profit. Considering the high amount of posts that OP would want to achieve per day they would highly likely be of very low quality. One needs to spend an adequate amount of time in a thread to ensure that they post is not rephrasing what someone else already said and that it actually contributed. With almost 300 posts a day that would be hard to achieve.
somewhat relevant, i remembered this from a while back: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1237503.msg12914751#msg12914751
its possible given that someone aiming to make these 300+ posts a day could do so if they were able to type as fast and pump out thoughtful posts that contributed to a discussion, and were willing to go at it for 8+ hours a day. however, if it does get to that point, i think a huge limiting factor would be the availability of topics and posts to reply to without replying to themselves (iirc a user was banned in the past for holding staged sig spam discussions on their alts).
As you said, i think it would be near impossible to maintain decent post quality if someone were to do this, but if they did manage, i think their activities would be limited by the overall activity on the forum.

NO NO NO WE ATE EACH OTHER first only later in life we joined to capture bigger animals

Probably.  If you were not in my band, you were one of "them", a fair game.

Xenophobia is still popular in come cultures Wink.

more so than popular, i think it might be accurate to say that its integral to some cultures. people dont really take up to xenophobia like a fad or something, its just there.
