521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Invite Only Bitcoin Casinos? on: October 25, 2017, 05:25:59 PM
Invite only casino, this is not good for future prospects. Most gambling businessmen invite all circles because the more crowded gambling site it`s more profitable,if you make a choice follow the site you will win but not as easy as it wins from.

Really depends on the target market though. If they are targeting really rich men, billionaires in fact, then this could have some sort of appeal to them since they are exclusively invited to gamble. Something prestigious attracts these gullible rich people and they will likely fall for it. Maybe this is a good business to get into, and probably will be good if they could even catch one rich guy to waste his many in gambling.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin dice sites with lowest house edge in 2017 on: October 24, 2017, 02:14:20 PM
Every casino needs to have some house edge. It is the advantage that the casino has over the players and they earn from it. I would recommend you to try out crypto-games which has a low house edge. I prefer it because it was one of the first few sites which I have been played in. Again they have a great investment feature which I like where you can invest in the casino bankroll and you would get profits as per your share of the bankroll.

Not really, even if a casino does not have house edge they can still profit out of it. The thing is, there would be a chance the player will still lose more than the casino itself and will ran out of bank roll. On the other hand, the casino's bankroll will likely be larger than any player. Then there comes limits. If for example, the player has more bankroll than the house, he cannot still win if he uses a basic martin gale system. Since the casino implements limits that would prevent the player from exceeding the max bet size, ultimately destroying his system.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why people are sharing tips? on: October 24, 2017, 02:05:39 PM
They probably hope to get tips if you win something based on their share.

Most tipsters appear to be attention seekers though as the real tips are generally very expensive.

Yes, the end result from such thing will not far from money whether it is tip, referral link, subscription  fee, etc. I like to read when there are some free tips from others even though I won't depend on their prediction. At least by doing such thing I can compare my own prediction with theirs.

I agree, people don't do stuff out of thin air. They will likely do it because of some reason. Well these tips, predictions and other stuff are all just for the purpose of making a profit. Indeed they are aiming for those you have enumerated. I believe there is really nothing free in this world, everything has a cost. Anyway, it may seem free, but like google it has some sort of hidden agenda.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Is Bitcoin Gambling Industry So Successful in the World? on: October 24, 2017, 11:36:54 AM
I think it is successful because of mainly the price you get when you win in Bitcoin Gambling, if you kept the reward then in a year you'll be rich because Bitcoin value keeps on increasing and most of the gamblers strive hard to win that amount.

It is true that Bitcoin investment is the best thing around now but the problem is that most gamblers want instant money and might not necessarily want to keep their wins for a year, chances are that they might gambler it off even if they manage to keep it.

That is indeed why gambling sites are so successful. Since gambling sites really appeal to a person's greed. That is why people keep on still risking money in gambling. They all think that they can double the money easy without any effort. But that doesn't usually happen, the usual occurrence is that players lose more than what they have and end up regretting gambling.

The question by the OP was in reference to the bitcoin gambling Industry and not any other gambling industry like fiats. I think interest in Cryptocurrency is on the rise globally and since it has been introduced into gambling it has spurned the bitcoin gambling industry on.
This is the major reason why gambling industry is growing day by day speedily. Gambling has been there for centuries and now the methods of gambling are digitalized, you can gamble without revealing your identity. Furthermore digital currencies have made it very easy to gamble online via poker games, betting on sports etc. your stance is valid that people are highly enchanted by digital currencies, that’s why gambling with bitcoin is highly prospering these days.
To add to that, I think this is also because gambling does speaks to an inner trait of humans, which is greed and trying our luck. Gambling has been indeed here for the longest time, and it is brought about by humans because we want to satisfy that need to gamble and our greed keeps up coming back and that has fed gambling sites which really evolved through time and has become more and more efficient in delivering their services.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: October 24, 2017, 11:28:45 AM
My worst mistakes were chasing my losses everytime I lost Sad It never ended up well.
I have been here too once and it is just what most gamblers have experienced in the start of their career as a gambler Grin before learning that once you lose, forget it and just move on. It can never end up well. The cruel part is when you bet that big amount, you will want to try a bigger thinking after all, you have taken the bold step already, until you see a zero account with your eyes wide opened.

Worst mistake on gambling is too keep on chasing to earn more profit and end up loosing big money, well this happened to me one time and that time i am really broke because i already earn big money but i did not stop that time and ended up loosing money. Stop chasing for your loss and know when to stop gambling specially when you are winning, it's really hard if you are in that situation but you have to control yourself.

Cant do. When there is lost there is the tingling sensation to get it back.
Even if you go away from your computer it wont stop going into your mind. The best way is to just play it all win or lose. I can sleep better if I lose it all or if I can win big time.
But just leaving in the air the loss money is not for me specially ahen I still have funds to gamble.
Worst mistake in gambling is that betting more than your affordable money to loss then at the end you will find your self at the corner thinking and have a feeling of regretion.,and another thing that makes a gambling mistake is when you bet without thinking and analysing the situation this will result on successive failure of winning.
A lot of gamblers has this mistake all the time, they forget to set their selves limit to what amount they should waste for gambling. All they care about is the fun and gaining profit.

Because there are gamblers that just wants to have fun. They want to have fun so why do they need to limit themselves to gamble. The fact that they are saying that they want to have fun gambling means that they're goal is to have fun and not to have a profit. We don't need to tell them to limit themselves because the goal is to entertain themsleves and not to lose their money to greedy reasons.

I would say that not every gambler that plays for some are what you described. Like me, I only deposit once if I suddenly felt like gambling. If I lost it then it's already quitting time for me. However, indeed there are people that trick themselves into believing that they are not addicted and they are just gambling for fun. They tell themselves, that it is alright to lose a few dollars however they have already deposited a hundred times already for that day which actually grew to a big amount.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $123 for few minutes on: October 24, 2017, 11:17:44 AM
Congratulation for you!
But my suggestion, do not try too often, because bitcoin is a risk investation and the value unstable.
You can win today, but not tomorrow!

Investation? LOL, what's that?

But yeah, you are correct in something, in gambling there is nothing really certain, there are times you will win a lot and that is good and you should value that moment when you won something from gambling. However, it doesn't always happen, hence you should really just keep the money rather than try again.

About what you said about bitcoins though, since he is gambling with bitcoins there is nothing to speak about the price since he bets and gets bitcoins anyway.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: October 24, 2017, 11:12:28 AM
If you do really value your money then most likely you would really have doubts anytime on spending too much money on gambling which would really make you limit on the funds that you would use which is really a good thing because it would really limit you to be come addicted on gambling. Leaving it would really be hard specially if addiction did hit you already.
That's the thing, you are already addicted and have a habit of gambling then you should know that it wouldn't help you in any case. It would just eat your money and it wouldn't come back unless you have thought about gambling again causing more destruction with your wallet.

Many people should realize that, they wanted to quit gambling but they just couldn't do it because they can't move on, on their loses, which is not a good idea, if I'm the one who is on a situation who lose a big amount of money in gambling, I will definitely going to quit gambling without any hesitation and going to think for another way on how am I going to get all the money that I have lost on it.

quit gambling is indeed not easy, I own until now it's hard to do that. let alone bitcoin gives me the ease in a gamble. I can still feel the victory so I am hard to stop. but maybe one day I will definitely quit. at least until now I am still playing within the confines of reasonable and not to ruin my life.

that's better if you think you are not addicted yet , as long as your gambling habit still on the limit lines you are good to go to gamble and quit from it step by step. the urgency to leave gambling are when you have done a lot of stupid things like get a loan to gamble , lost it and you can't pay it back. things would get started worse. no other solution just leave immediately.
As long you are still on the limit line then you are still fine.Going already into those kind of situations where you do already borrow other money just to play then addiction can already be severe for sure and you still keep on doing such thing even you are already losing. If you dont like to end up on having no house and a family then better to quit while its still early.

Borrowing to fulfill your wants such as gambling is the worst thing a person can do. Generally, loans are supposed to be for people that are in need of it not for pleasure but for real reasons like investing, businesses, emergencies or other legitimate purposes. If you're just gonna gamble it then likely there is a big problem there and the gambler is likely an addicted one already.
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting with microbits (Bits)? on: October 24, 2017, 11:10:05 AM
With BTC hitting over $6k US a pop, is it time sites start offering betting with microbits (μBTC)?

I like to bet on sports for fun, with most site minimum bets of 0.1mbtc (61cents) I can throw down a few dollars worth and still have fun watching the game.
Ok for the moment, but if the price of BTC keeps going up as forecast it will become a barrier to playing!
And casino, playing a 25 lines on the slots at $1.20 a spin is a bit much!

With microbits, the minimum bet is future proofed to say min bet 10μBTC or whatever.

Or am I completely wrong?! lol
If you are bothered about betting with microbits which obviously might not amount to anything, it is better you stop gambling then and focus on the value increasing over time.

However, I understand the fact that you are trying to play safe, but you should understand that there is no being safe in gambling. It is either you lose or win and the lesser you gamble with, depending on the minimum you are gambling, the faster you can get nabbed on long streaks of losses. So, eventually, the choice is all yours. But where is the excitement betting with tiny amount?

It's not that he doesn't want want to bet. The thing is he wants to gamble with small amounts, which is nothing wrong to be honest. This is one of the features of bitcoin gambling that has been a success factor for it. So, if the bitcoin denomination is getting too big for gamblers like OP, then it losses one of the features that made it successful.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite type of gambling? on: October 23, 2017, 09:35:28 AM
I like to play bacarat, maybe because it's simple, easy and my luck is good with it. I used to like roulette because there's a lot of option to bet but it's not fun anymore for me.
Gambling is surely not fun anymore everything has changed so much before it was based on pure luck now you need luck and also face the house edge that isn't easy if you are in profit or loss it's going to be hard that you win anything in gambling

Online gambling houses if they want to make money from this business then they have to introduce house edge otherwise it will be difficult for them to run the business. If you are gambling only for fun then it shouldn't be a concern because you no need to go to the real casino instead you can play from your home without spending money on transport and other expenses for that convenience you can pay that small house edge to get fun.

Of course all online gambling hoses employs the house edge with which they use to rake in money from their customers pocket in order to keep the casino running. I don't agree with gambling for fun but i think it's best if you gamble on demo accounts than pay even a cent for fun because it's not worth it.

What's the point of gambling with demo accounts? If you'll just be playing for play money then just play on your iPad. There are so much fake casinos there where you win useless play money. All you get is bragging rights that you have that much play money in your account. Which, by the way, can be reset everytime you play, so no point either. If you want to gamble, gamble with money and just for fun.
530  Economy / Gambling / Re: mBet.io new Crypto Sportsbook Looking for Feedback on: October 23, 2017, 09:11:09 AM
Will you be giving out free btc to test out your site? Or any bonuses to first time users that will also leave feedback for your sportsbook. So far, the barrier for entry here is that people would not want to risk btc for a new site. Probably giving out a few btc to test it out will solve this.

Looking forward to test out your site.

You beat me to the punch.  In about 8 hours we are going to announce a bounty that credits each account with 100 MBT's (thats the token of our ICO) the accounts will be credited when the user verifies their email.  These MBT's can be wagered as you please, but cannot be withdrawn until after the token creation event, after the token creation event their will be no restriction on withdrawal.  The offer will be limited to the first 1000 accounts.

Of course we will credit all accounts that have been created since the creation of this thread, as a gesture of good faith.

Oh great. That would be nice, though since you will be giving out tokens only, then that means the users will not be able to actually withdraw anything. I was hoping you guys would be giving out small amounts like 1mbtc to try out and let people actually bet, and see if anyone would be able to withdraw the btc out of the platform , like an actual operating gambling site. Anyway, it's your prerogative, I'd still try it out for sure.

A bits is about 100 satoshis, I don't think it is still feasible for sports books and other higher minimum bet games to adopt bits as the base unit. The current use of mbtc is still feasible. It still being able to be divisible in non-whole numbers. 0.1mbtc isn't that big yet to be of concern hence the status quo can still be upheld. Probably when bitcoin prices reach the five digit level, gambling sites should consider changing from mbtc.
i always gamble using mbtc count,
and in my opinion this is enough,
because dalalm this calculation can be more easier for me in managing the cost that I spend and the calculation becomes organized without any errors at all,
it is true that mbtc count now become quite expensive in some gambling sites,
but this is okay as long as the user does not mind
That is indeed the situation now, and currently the status quo is still enough. Like what you said you are still comfortable using mbtc to gamble with. I guess when prices go to $10,000 each then possibly gambling sites should really consider lowering minimum bet size. But generally if that happens, even the bitcoin network should consider upgrading again so that fees go as little as a hundred satoshi to be even feasible to move small funds.

On the contrary, I used to gamble with mbtc but abandon the idea because I have difficulty to convert it to bitcoin.  Grin. However with the current price of bitcoin really gaining steam and moving to $6000 or more in the future, I think its logically to at least try to gamble with mbtc now. Its up to us gambler on how to adjust in such situation in gamble and its not different when you are playing in a land based casino as well.

I know some online wallets like coinbase have the lower denominations of bitcoin displayed so that you can choose to either display your bitcoins in BTC or mBTC, i guess it will be easier to use that for your gambling activities or perhaps your gambling bookie has that denomination too like nitrogensports.

How was it hard to convert mbtc to btc? Its like liters to milliliters. Ever 1 BTC is 1000 MBTC. So 0.001 btc = 1mbtc. Easy. What's hard is bits to be honest. Too much decimal places moved.

It would be nice indeed if any bitcoin service (gambling, online wallet, etc.) would offer the option to choose which denomination would their user use. Like I can choose whether it would be BTC, mBTC, Bits, or Sats. It's a great feature for their users.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: return as soon as possible and win back your losses . on: October 23, 2017, 03:51:21 AM
We all can lose in gambling  and lose our money but shall we stop or try to win back what we lost ?

when you can control all the emotions and greed you have,
trying to recover all losses on gambling can be a reality.
but if that is not possible,
you should stop all gambling,
and start with an investment so you can play more calmly
maybe that's just my suggestion
and this is what I've been feeling during gambling

Controlling emotion and greed is not enough to get back all your losses. Actually nothing is really for certain in gambling, hence even if you did every thing in the most responsible gambler way, it will not ensure you will profit and get back your losses. The best thing to do is just to quit chasing losses and just play for the hell of it. If you win it back great, but if you didn't just don't care about it.

534  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Surges Above $4400 As World Realizes Jamie Dimon & China Don't Matter on: October 23, 2017, 01:46:25 AM
i honestly didn't expect such a strong buy support behind bitcoin to keep the price high at this level.
obviously a recovery was expected even back when price reached the bottom at $3000 it was calling the $4000 come back soon. but i didn't expect the $4300-$4400 range to be sustained this strongly.

all the Dimon and China drama has always been a temporary thing. this is the story of bitcoin as far as i can remember. same FUD, same people taking advantage and becoming bigger whales and price rising in long term without paying any attention to any of them Wink

It only means that we have still a market even without China. I assumed that the buy support came mostly from Japan and South Korea. And even in India bitcoin price is up with a premium of $100 difference from other exchanges. We have all moved from the Dimon and China drama. It really proves that bitcoin is cannot be conquered by any one, not by country and definitely not by a person who is just spreading FUD to manipulate the price. They can only affect the price temporary and after that bitcoin continues as if nothing happens.
The problem is that even if they do not affect the price long term they still benefit from this, they probably sold their coins before the FUD and were able to by them back at a discount and made a lot of profits that way, it is unfair but people need to understand that those are not news but FUD designed to scare them.

Well....market manipulation has been a staple of big bankers and central banks. Watch this documentary:
history of money/centralbanks: https://vimeo.com/8757743 or link2 https://youtu.be/UrJGlXEs8nI

Not only that, remember the events of the world financial crisis a few decades back? It was caused by a lot of banks that were all cheating. That incident did not even get one banker to go to jail. The governments, especially the US, did not do anything any more about the bankers. They just let it go and created policies to rehabilitate the financial industry and make new regulations to prevent it. Unlike in bitcoins, the government has already placed in jail a lot of bitcoin users.
535  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: October 22, 2017, 04:22:41 PM
To earn such a sum without investments you need to have superpowers and never sleep. I think that this is a very large amount. And so earning 1-2 bitcoins per month is simply unrealistic
Yes this is very important and all the thing need to do the hard work, the bitcoin is being powerful and the bitcoin is getting famous now, I love to use the bitcoin because it is easy to pay with the bitcoin and you will get the payment of the transaction at very low cost, a lot of people reinvesting in the bitcoin and they are taking the huge profit from it.

It is realistic. If you offer your skills to the public then probably you can get that amount. It will likely be hard but it is not impossible to do. There are likely a lot of people earning $6,000 a month without investments, if they can why can't anybody else do it? It's just a matter of perspective, I believe. So if you just work hard enough it is possible.
536  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Online Shop that accepts BTC on: October 22, 2017, 04:17:45 PM
Anyone knows any online shop where they accept BTC? Looking for peripherals for my cellphone.

The online shop I know was amazone.com and Ebay only these two I think anyhow was proven and tested already. I don't know the other online shop if they are accepting bitcoin as their payment. In amazon you can buy there at your own choice of course, Happy shopping.
Amazon is good place to spend your bitcoin in it is the time to get the bitcoin and buy the more things, I use the bitcoin and I am taking the huge income from the bitcoin, I love to buy the bitcoin in the online shopping and the bitcoin will increase the power of the money, I buy a lot of the things through the bitcoin and I am sparing time from my job as well. I use to buy the cars and the things we use for the daily life.

Uhh they don'e accept bitcoins! Where did you see that amazon and ebay accepts bitcoins by the way? If you guys are pertaining to purse.io, it is not amazon!
They are just their to facilitate payments. They accept bitcoins and in turn they buy the stuff you want from amazon. That's totally different from accepting bitcoins directly.
537  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there legit mining site? on: October 22, 2017, 04:06:38 PM
It's hard to tell, because there is now actual way we can check whether your hashing power that you bought is really there. Even genesis mining doesn't disclose whether you really have hashing power, they only state they are giving you it but there is no actual proof of it. I subscribed to hashflare, it's one of the cloud mining that's most popular. I do hope it is legit.
538  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-22] Two South Korean Bitcoin Exchanges Announce Hard Fork Plans on: October 22, 2017, 02:28:29 AM
This is hugely brought about by the situation with what happened with Bitcoin cash. Before bitcoin cash, a lot of exchanges did not even want to talk about bitcoin cash, but due to the huge demand from the users to give them their bitcoin cash it was eventually given to them. Well, why wouldn't the users want those free money right? It's like worth 25% of your bitcoins why would you not want it at the time?
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies investment factors? on: October 21, 2017, 07:24:53 PM
Hi Folks, What are all factors that one should consider while investing in cryptocurrencies (like transaction fee if that's one)? Please put some light on this.
Thanks.

I would say that it should have a pretty solid foundation and something that is innovative. A lot of cryptocurrencies are just copies of the old ones and those should not be something you should consider. Definitely you should check them out and do you due diligence because that's something any investor should do. Of course that would be some diamonds in the rough, but likely before you find those diamonds it would take you a pretty long time.
540  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: October 21, 2017, 07:14:17 PM
bitcoin disadvantages for me. i think only high fee transaction
only that for me i dont know anything else

That is a disadvantage, however the thing is I believe the network is artificially being bloated by an entity. So far after the bitcoin upgrade to segwit the memory pools were most of the time empty and I think the recent sudden spike in transactions was not an normal occurrence but more of an attack on the network to force people to move to segwitx2. Which is supposed to be something we should look out for as there might be some sort of trick that will happen if it does get activated.
