523  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: OMG WTF. $399. Zoomhash.com G-Blade on: July 02, 2014, 02:30:14 AM
This is what they should have originally been priced. Fucking ASIC manufactures...all evil fucking scammers.

+1 on so many levels Smiley
524  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling Bitmine.ch 600gh Miner on: July 02, 2014, 01:46:30 AM
The price might have been closer to being acceptable if it were only a day past May 31st (as indicated in the picture)

but here we are one day after June 30, and I estimate the value of this miner to be:

[intentionally left blank]

The name in the picture doesn't match either...

thats what i was thinking...but then he is willing to accept escrow...which is strange if he was trying to scam? idk  fair'ish price with ROI in mind is bout 1btc...2 month ROI Smiley

I have two Neptune and its instable...
I tried different combination but it's complicated.

Single Asic totally crash after 15min :

http://www.image-heberg.fr/files/14042894688281.png
http://pastebin.com/hvDg9Hkc

5 Asic, 5 x 450Watts connected to a UPS (5000KVA, double conversion online).
Two brutally slow down with many errors (exemple : KnC: 5.1.100 disabled for 300 seconds due to repeated hardware errors)
http://www.image-heberg.fr/files/14042894686910.png

Good for 2 Asic but last, Asic 6 slight decrease
http://www.image-heberg.fr/files/14042894686893.png

Other test with 3 ASIC :

Boot : http://www.image-heberg.fr/files/14042894688980.png (ok)
5 min : http://www.image-heberg.fr/files/14042894689633.png (decrease)
15 min : http://www.image-heberg.fr/files/14042894689784.png (more errors than results)

Actually i try with 5 ASIC, 5 x 450Watts, no UPS, in another room.
At 475Mhz, Asic 2 and 3 crash : http://www.image-heberg.fr/files/14042894686910.png
I reboot Asic 2 and 3, cgminer crash and auto-restart and i set at 500Mhz, for the moment, its stable.
 (5s):3.356T (1m):3.300T (5m):3.285T (15m):2.944T (avg):3.107Th/s
 A:1618944  R:0  HW:5399  WU:43465.0/m

Between delay and instabilities, it is a BIG disappointment for the moment...

imho Sounds to me like HEAT is your main enemy by the times posted

i don't think it's heat...Loup can you watch the vrms temp...do alot of them get upto 100c? Loup, maybe try lower the volts n lower clock to see if they can indeed hash at full power? maybe check for metal shavings? maybe something is shorting out...oct. jups known for having them...knc loves to throw in extra parts to mess with ppl Smiley if they do hash at lower power then maybe it is your psu's...these units are pulling close to 300w and with a 450w...i dunno if the rail can handle it...also don't know if it's single or multi rail either...do you have a bigger psu you can test with?
527  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: In Stock_1T bitcoin miner 1600$ Free Shipping on: July 01, 2014, 10:09:43 AM
Ya and if you take btc you escrow or else you just scam people...I'd only use escrow with this guy...don't let him fool you
You have wrongly accuse me!

well then what is your problem with accepting escrow? I don't see a problem with it...escrow is the only way your going to get ppl to buy your miners on here...unless you wanna send me miner first then i pay for it Cheesy which ya won't cause i doubt ya have any...or try this...take a picture with "your" forum name on it and date it...wonder what'll come up if i search for that email in the picture...hmmm just did and bam: https://www.bitcoinforum.com/goods/(in-stock)coincraft-a1-asic-miner-1ths/msg9215/#msg9215   oh look at that...wonder if that guy was a scammer too considering he is a newbie there with only 5 posts lol  Face it kid...your scam was horrible...I just found it funny to chat with you Smiley if you say i wrongly accused you, then prove me wrong and i'll delete all my posts here Smiley bet ya can't Wink good day
Send you a miner you not to pay Grin
You did not bring any evidence and accuse us!
I am in a short time register an account here escrow.com
But if you refuse the transaction can safely call you SCAMER Grin
And when we do not do not lie refused to sell through escrow and said that we have no Account

yep uhuh sure...and you don't need a account at escrow.com...ya can escrow with someone here...classic scammer talk right there Wink only digging yerself a deeper hole lol

And you never addressed other things in my post either...like the pics...that would easily get me off yer back lol but you can't cause you have no units
528  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: KNC octomber modules for Sale on: July 01, 2014, 03:26:16 AM
I need fast payment to order some hardware so boards will be sold with coolers and cables all you need to attach them to the control board but you have to cover the higher shipping cost  Tongue

still interested in 2 boards...but i just don't see you coming down in price enough to make it worth it...your getting 660 with 4 so each one getting roughly 165gh/s but now everyone is selling a1's for .2btc some with shipping and oc'd that is 200gh/s so i doubt you'll be able to go that low so i guess i might as well give up on having a 6 mod oct. jup n just buy cpl a1's or a3's Cheesy and don't say well you still need a psu for the a1's cause i'd still need a psu for the 2 boards...so that point is nil

Having delved deeper into the workings of how all this  difficulty and things related, I found
a nice site that explains  a little more Smiley

You lot probs know it, but for those who do not :- https://cryptanalys.is/difficulty/bitcoin_btc.php

predicting a drop in difficulty at the moment  LOL --  bet that changes Cry

****And as I typed this we found a block Cheesy****

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

better predictor...i think...was at 22% or so after the diff rate change...so it went down to 17% Smiley hopefully it stays...but i doubt it...more neppy's will hit customers hands...although i think knc made'em crappy so they'll break on purpose...but don't ferget bitmain will be piping out more units as well as tons of other asic companies Sad

531  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: July 01, 2014, 02:58:19 AM
Man where ever i ask they say grindseed is not profitable anymore . IS it  ?
What coin do u mine with them ? I can get couple for 50$ each . Is it worth it ?

Its a gamble.. maybe it is, maybe its not.

yer right it is a gamble...but i'd say its a really bad gamble...everything is exploding now with asic's...really nuffin ya can do cept buy coins...

As I see it, theres two options... You just mentioned the best one - and the one that'll get you in for whatever amount of money you have at your disposal..

The 2nd one is for the guys with a lot of cash. Buy in hard in asics with the best $/ghs ratio and/or w/ghs ratio. With a perdicted ROI date (if you can get gear at a price that gives you one) and make as much coin in profits as possible afterwards.. - then, offload your gear when its not viable at your power costs anymore.. maybe, somewhere in the world it is for someone whos willing to bet on coins gaining value..

+1 yep that is what i'm doing with my jups...cept i'm not ever gona sell'em...they will mine til they give out to try and get as much coins from them as i can...

Don't mine until they die, but mine until your electricity costs more than the income from mining.  At that point it's cheaper to buy the coins than mining.  It's probably not worth it to ship a Jup now anyways.

might be cheaper...but i can do both Smiley just won't be able to buy as much...and i just can't see turning them off when they have paid for themselves...just can't see it...its like taking them and throwing them away...when they still work...eh we'll see...right now summer heat is heating up the basement pretty good...my heat extractor is getting most of it out the house...still making a few tweaks here and there...
532  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [In Stock]$1699 for 1T BTC miner,to be delivered in 24hours on: July 01, 2014, 01:56:54 AM
hosting miners available from July 8th,professional data center,a good station for hosting, hosting fee ranges 165-185USD per month.

On July 10th 1TH will cost under $1000, do you think Dragon miner factory will be able to match Bitmain then?
Dragon miner price always is more competitive than Bitmain,i saw Bitmain 1T delivery miner price is still 1775USD.I don't know what is price on July 10,but its price reaching to 1000USD won't happens almostly.

Bitmain new 478 GH unit (.77 watts/gh)  for .75 btc ($479) is interesting.

Was working fine with one AX1200i, and I even connected 3 boxes + controller board. Now, enter 2nd PSU, put 2 boxes + controller board on first PSU, and then 3 boxes on the new PSU, and not having things going smoothly. doing the troubleshooting thing where I adjust slowly up and will see how it goes, but still doesn't seem promising. The dies keep going from low to high and oscillating the Wattage.

Is there a special order that we need to turn the 2 PSU's on? Controller board first? then Second PSU? Or at the same time? or one shortly after the other?

hmm your not the only having this problem...maybe its the controller board...can't handle all 5 units? or the FW is the issue...who knows...good luck to you guys
